Here are some scenerios that can cause the price of btc to fall drastically. (In my opinion, it is highly unlikely and the possibility very slim).
The market need it for volatility. Without volatility, you can not trade bitcoin. (1) No way to trade bitcoin or exchange it for goods and services.
You can not trade bitcoin on centralized exchanges but there will be many other ways to trade bitcoin. On peer to peer marketplaces, on decentralized exchanges. Another way is direct exchange with bitcoiners around you. Everyone can make direct deals with each other and finish their trades. Escrow services will be mandatory for your safety. (2) All governments of the world placing a ban on bitcoin and bitcoin related activities making it highly illegal.
How many years since the birthday of bitcoin? 12 years and governments won't ban bitcoin or cryptocurrency as we have seen. They only have more rules, regulations on this market. That's all they will do. (3) The entire bitcoin network and nodes going offline making it impossible to even make underground transactions in bitcoin.
If you have electricity, power, infrastructures, mining rigs (ASICs), and skills to set up your rigs, connect to bitcoin nodes, pools, you can mine. The network will keep moving forwards. Apocalypse will destroy all things on this planet and bitcoin network will be killed only by this way. (4) Another crypto overtaking bitcoin and value and more people shifting investment to this new crypto.

Absolutely true! I can not step in the shoes of others but in my opinion, appearance for trading on big exchanges is good. It help a cryptocurrency to take advantage of capital flow on big exchanges. Whales, retail traders will move their capital around and inside one exchange. They are keen on internal capital flow than withdraw their money from one exchange, and deposit it to another exchange. It is inconvenience for capital movements. If my opinion is accurate, it is one of reasons why listing news can help price to have pumps. It's time to make an effort to get this listed in big exchange such us binance, kucoin, and huobi, then things will change for the better.
For now, it's easy to manipulate the price and with low volume exchanges, big investors are not attractive and actually the main reason why a coin is popular is if more traders are moving this in short term and it could only happen with big exchange as they can accommodate big volume.

I have not used Bittrex after they suddenly used their KYC card to suspend account and put crypto funds of their users on hold. I am not sure how their exchange works now but I searched and found something that can help you. Bech32 adoption. The Bitcoin Wiki, that page presents that Bittrex does not support for Bech32 address. I can not find any information about it on Bittrex website but the Wiki page is updated in late of March 2021 (on the bottom of page). I believe this information is accurate. i dont think he can get a precise answer here as this is a very subjective matter. and besides, the market performance of every alt is different from one another. and also, there's no authority that can tell the market whether it is alt season or not.
and if you are following specific coin, dont just look at the overall market because sometimes it has nothing to do with the market trend, but depends on the dev team themselves. if nothing is happening with their devt, do you expect them to follow the bull season in the market?
The market is the open place for everyone to do exchanges. Some will get profit and some will get loss. The same goes for the altcoin season that will bring profit for some people and losses for the others. Altcoin season does not mean all alternate cryptocurrencies will have increases. Even if one alternate cryptocurrency rises, you can get profit or loss. You decide the price you buy it and sell it. My simple advice is in this bull market plus the altcoin season, if you don't buy one coin at x10 price from the bottom, even buy it at price x2 from the bottom and see temporary loss, just hold it. You will have chance to take a draw and very high chance to get profit. If you buy at price from x5 to x10 from the bottom, it can be different. |
