OMG, +1 on the airplane reference! Cheesy

You are on the wrong forum Andrew,  you should be over at http://talk.paycoin.com/discussions helping them save their scam coin.

rofl, try troll harder  Grin

I registered last night so I could get my name, but I havent posted or looked at anything yet (well 1 thread in the fud section).

I guess my response for you on /r/litecoin wasn't good enough  Roll Eyes

Personally im not convinced that teamXYP is separate at this point. I did pass along via third party that whatever they do they need to hard fork and start with removing the premine all together (aka Josh's stash). So we shall see what happens within the next few weeks on the code base.

How can you remove the premine but preserve the coins already sold off to legitimate owners?

Not following as closely as others are, but I assume that someone has identified the wallets the Josh/GAW owns? Those can be removed. So maybe removing the premine all together was a poor choice in words.

You can remove the ridiculous staking, but you cannot remove the wallets AFAIK.  I can only think of one way. But it would have to be done in secret, otherwise GAW could easily thwart it.

You can blacklist wallets, Luke-Jr tried to do that with a fork of Bitcoin a while back to remove gambling sites if I remember correctly. And yes the staking is something else I suggested them to do. I pretty much mentioned it in 1 email and I haven't talked about it since.

It would be easy to avoid. He could transact to an exchange, do some fake trading with friends and you would need the exchange to follow the coins. But if he would chose the right people, nobody would know if the trading was fake or real. And the believers maybe would say something like "Oh, see those buywalls Somebody knows something! Soon $20!" ;-)

The intelligence level of people over there are still amazing.

This guy is obviously trolling... Paul, is that you?  Wink

I'm pretty sure he has a youtube channel.  https://www.youtube.com/user/MrIPadChain  I think this is him.

Yeah, remember this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzSthEv3Bag

Holy shit.  He isn't trolling.  This guy is for real.  He just uploaded a new video 30 minutes ago on the subject of "Is Bitcoin Dead?".  He reasons it might be because he has seen far fewer youtube vloggers uploading new videos about BTC.  He is measuring the health of the Bitcoin ecosystem based on the metric of how many vloggers are doing videos about it.

I wish I could get through one day without finding a reason to lose hope for humanity......

Damn! First I thought he is serisous, than I thought he is making really good jokes and now he is serious again? Maybe tomorrow comes out that he is a professional comedian-actor. Wink

What about paybase can ppl withdraw from there?

Yes, I just pulled all my XPY out of both. I wish I never drank the kool-aid months ago. So happy I think I only sank about $100 into this scam.

It wouldn't surprise me if this was exactly why ht is down.  "Oh sorry everyone I would have announced it sooner but shucks the forum was down."  If the forum stays down for a while this might actually work to slow the inevitable run on the bank.

Now the question is do I cash the XPY in now and just take the loss and move on or wait and hope for some miracle?Huh

The Problem is: Many who are holding XPY have this question right now. And they will sell or hold. But, there won't be much buying. Nearly no new Investors will buy this Coin after all that. Therefore I would suppose, price will go down. But, everybody has to do his own decisions. Maybe there will be any kind of miracle, but I've never seen any in Crypto.

Hi all!

I'm not completely new to BTCD, but I didn't follow close since last summer. Just now I downloaded the wallet for Mac OSX from http://bitcoindark.pw/. But it doesn't sync. Maybe because of Yosemite?

Just blows my mind how that coin is not zeroed out by now.

Riding on a dead horse...
3090  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 06, 2015, 07:09:15 AM

For now, Neos is in a very positive way the exact opposite of XPY... Honest and skilled Dev, great features etc.
Give it a little time and it will be what XPY pretends to be.

Sadly a good coin also needs financial backing for good development and active promotion.

One great example [and there are dozens] is BlakeCoin, it is such a good coin and coded by one of the best devs in the world [BlueDragon] that it scared someone [From China] enough to spend $10,000 per day [for weeks] to DDOS it.

And yet it only has a cap of $20k.

Nobody cares about good honest devs or great coding.  And in a way they're right, without money there's no way to promote any coin and push it mainstream.  This is why I focus on coins with deep pocket backers.

Only one has to work out.  Only one!

I don't know you but you're Posts in this thread seems to me, like you're focusing and defending a dying Scam-Coin. ;-)

And I disagree about "nobody cares about good honest devs or great coding". It's the base. Without that, all the Hypes and PR and money-backing will lead to loss for most of all Investors. I never buy a project that is focusing FIRST on PR and Hype instead of coding and real quality. I'm invested in Neos because they do the things in the right order. Quality needs real work and time and then... is time for PR and Hype and rising prices. I sleep very well with that and I would get out of my mind if I would have my money in something like XPY. It's about potential... XPY doesn't have it. In my opinion the main-problem in Crypto is the naivety and ignorance on Investor-Side. But... the collective will learn and the money will flow to Projects with real value like Neos. It's just a matter of time.
3091  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 06, 2015, 06:22:34 AM

(i.e. coins like neos have great features but don't have the marketing or the backing)

For now, Neos is in a very positive way the exact opposite of XPY... Honest and skilled Dev, great features etc.

LXC will be de-listing of Bittrex.

Source please

This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on March 6th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC.
https://bittrex.com/Market/?MarketName=BTC-LXC

so it needs 1.4 btc trading volume in 7 days, shouldnt be to hard right?

that message doesnt says its getting delisted, it says there MIGHT BE A POSSIBILITY IF the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days doesnt exceeds 0.2 BTC.[

learn to read imbecile.

Yes, right. But it shows a tendency. I don't think LXC will be delisted in the next 2 weeks, but I'm sure it will be delisted in the next 2 months. Saw this with Guerillacoin. It was also abandoned and all Holders hoped (including myself), Dev would come back but he did not. And LXC reminds me on that. I watched LXC since the beginning without buying, because it looked to me to much like hype. Don't say, it was planned as a scam, but..... under the line it doesn't make any difference. If the Dev is not in a hospital or something like that, there is no reason to stay away without any sign that long. Therefore, this Coin is most likely done.

dont trust anyone on the forum is what i'd have to say to that.

Yes, you're completely right. Nobody should trust me or anybody he don't knows, but I think everybody is able to follow that simple conclusions. If there are other conclusions I'm eager to read them. In my opinion the facts speak for itself: The Dev is away without any sign, Price and Volume are very low, and Bittrex has already "threatened" to delist LXC. And no, I don't want to buy cheap. It is how I said: I'm watching this since the start because I WAS interested in the beginning but I did not buy. I wrote in this thread before in the first weeks.
3094  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 05, 2015, 08:22:20 PM

And it's locked ...
I have not finished reading it, who made a copy? Wink

So it's hacked then it's not.  We have a massive data dump. Wait we don't.

Are we dealing with child hackers here or can't you guys see someone has been playing games since day one making all the trolls on here jump and dance to their tune, while killing the price to buy up all the XPY.

If XPY would be where it is, just through FUD, it wouldn't make sense to buy it now as well... Than the FUDster who wish to buy it cheap would have destroyed it too much.

The price is still too high, because many can't cash. At the same time nobody with some smartness will buy. And the problem of XPY is: It is not where it is just because of FUD. That makes it worse. It will die slowly, but I can't imagine any real scenario that it will survive.

1,000,000$ domain-name purchase was more important than paying for the electric bills  Grin
It was so they had something they could sell off during bankruptcy.

Either that, or depending on the terms of the sale if they didn't make payment after a set time the domain would revert to the old owner and previous payments would be forfeit. It isn't unheard of.

Imagine the publicity if they lost btc.com. Power going out in a DC? You can spin that. Losing BTC.com due to nonpayment? That's way more public and way harder to spin.

Exactly. The domain is in escrow. The escrow agent told them it will be returned to the seller on the 20th.

https://archive.today/iKu2N

I must admit, as much as I dislike Garza, I do have to admire his ability to spin and control spin. People who have that kind of "gift of gab" are so different from me that I can't help but find them fascinating. Even if they are assholes.

There are people who have that kind of "gift of gab" without being destructive and self-destructive. Therefore I would not say Garza is gifted. I don't understand all this. If I would try to scam people I would have a plan to get out without self-damaging. If I would try to start a big project like XPY was intended, and without a Scam-Intention, I would try it on a "honest-way"... I watch this and don't understand how this all is possible.

Still shilling away, eh vlad? I may be a newbie in these parts but I'm pretty positive that the leaked emails have not been 'disproved'. Even if all the other things are fake those are pretty damning, for somebody who claims to be such a wise investor you sure do an excellent job of appearing to be a complete moron. I just hope there aren't any poor souls taking advice from you at the moment, they'd all have halved their investments just like you did.

You can't be serious.

Did you not see the post made by coinbrief this morning stating that they were CERTAIN that the leaked emails they published were faked and they apologized for publishing them.

Troll harder.

Link please...?
