3081  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Privacy in Bitcoin on: March 28, 2020, 07:22:00 PM
There was a time where  Bitcoins transactions were thought to be super private but unfortunately one should understand that with the upcoming years with the advancing technologies people have identified it to be pseudo transparent .
One can actually trace the address and if a person uses the same address a lot of times it is really not hard at all to connect it to an identity because of the KYC that now every wallet needs .
Yes some wallets are exceptions like the hardwares , paper wallets and other wallets which does not require KYC but that does not stand for most of the people out there.
3082  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is how Iran plans to use cryptocurrencies to evade economic sanctions on: March 28, 2020, 07:18:24 PM
Unfortunately cryptocurrencies are now well known , too well known that one can hire engineers and can reverse engineer it and can track people down too , we all are already aware of the fact that Bitcoins is not something that will hide your identity 100% .
I don't think the people will rely on it for long , if the US knows something is going on they will just try and hire more people who are able to do what they expect to be done.
Therefore I do think they will have the most luck in the black market with exporting the products where the government can not track .
But I do think after a while they will accept the peace , since now everyone is affected by the Corona virus and it is high time they stop thinking about these things and take care of their people .
3083  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: March 28, 2020, 07:14:53 PM
I have news where people are accusing China of creating this Virus , at the same time this is Preety extreme I think .
People are saying they did this so that they can kill the world's economy and then generate revenue out of antidotes they will sell later on .
Since the people in Wuhan have now recovered and the graph is going stable , there is all kind of conspiracy theories going on and on .
One cannot know what is true and what is not.
The government also seemed to have silenced the first doctor who seemed to know about the virus and said something about it , he died few days back from Corona virus.

We are normal people we won't be able to know anything about it unless and until someone who has the power speaks up !
3084  Economy / Economics / Re: Will India be more progressive in the coming years? on: March 28, 2020, 07:11:54 PM
22% of Indian population is poor and it is funny how the government describes poverty , The World Bank defines poverty in absolute terms. The bank defines extreme poverty as living on less than US$1.90 per day. (PPP), and moderate poverty as less than $3.10 a day .
This is funny if you are going to survive in a world I do think you would need much more than that .
In the upcoming years first government needs to focus on the society which is lagging behind and more or so it is not in the hand of the government to do anything , it's the personal decision of people who decides to use cryptocurrencies or no .
Mostly in India people think of buying gold and silver as a safe heaven , but with the youngsters out there this is changing .
3085  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: March 28, 2020, 09:19:27 AM
Take 18 Months minimum for the approval and distribution of a vaccine .

Then take further 1 year for things to be normal , way way normal like they were before , when you could roam around without any problems

It is not stopping in few months for sure . Technically then also people who are infected will need time to recover again, this is highly infectious and people can be reinfected is the problem.
3086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Set to Become the Next Global Reserve Currency on: March 28, 2020, 09:09:56 AM
Global reserve Currency is not something that I think Bitcoins would become or is destined to become , the good thing about Bitcoins is ,

It is actually dependent on how people want to use it , therefore I do think that instead of a reserve Currency it would actually be something like an investment.

For being a reserve Currency it should be taken in accordance that , it should be non volatile and backed and that would just make it Fiat.
3087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: convert bitcoin address to ethereum address on: March 28, 2020, 09:05:49 AM
See I haven't tried it nor I know about it's credibility , but all I can tell you is , no matter what you should not do stunts like these and on the top of that use Information provided by a third party website .
Have you ever heard about phishing ?
Search it up , you can really be in a problem one day .
I don't even understand why do you need to do this , just chill and use things , the way they are supposed to be used .
Don't play with them untill and unless you know more than anyone about them .
3088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japanese people, here they come on: March 28, 2020, 08:15:37 AM
Everyone knows that and we are still here hanging in the forum and holding our Bitcoins.
There is actually nothing that is safe at the moment therefore I do think if someone or something is actually giving you a job and you are able to earn even a little at a time like this , then this is amazing , much better than what the government is providing.
People who are not whales and who are in the business , they stick with Bitcoins no matter what the value , it's called trust and assurance. That is why Bitcoins is so popular , because people trust it .
Soon enough it will go high again and people are just egarly waiting for a time like that .
3089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In times of turmoil, is Bitcoin really a safe-haven asset? on: March 28, 2020, 08:11:15 AM
Safe heaven asset -
NO !

I don't think that anything is a safe heaven now , this is worse than a inflation and deflation and even worse than a financial crisis , nothing out there is something that can actually stand in the middle of all this .

The government is not able to control this and people who have recovered have started testing positive again.

The economy is dying , people are there without jobs , families are suffering .

This is just like the great recession but much worse if not controlled . Trust me in the upcoming days it is only going to get worse .
3090  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: March 28, 2020, 08:08:50 AM
I am really not sure if you understand some people are selling to buy food for their families , because of lockdown the not so fortunate group are being provided with nothing but problems from the government .
It is better to sell rather than starve for sure , so if there is someone out there thinking they need money for themselves or their families I do this the right thing to do is to sell and first take care of themselves then worry about the price of cryptocurrencies.
3091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and illegal activities on: March 27, 2020, 04:29:22 PM
The thing is , even when you consider Currencies that we are using , one cannot put a tag on how the paper money itself is being used , it is really impossible to find the criminal activities which are fuled by money itself so Fiat is much worse than us .
So whenever anyone says that Bitcoins is for criminal activities your should tell them how , the Fiat you are so sure of is no better .
It is even worse..... You cannot stop people who want to find opportunities to engage in dirty work , they will do so no matter what.
3092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: March 27, 2020, 04:26:01 PM
If you invest 1$ every day , even without Bitcoins you still would have like 1825$ which is actually not bad at all .
But unfortunately the thing is , it is impractical , you cannot just buy Bitcoins every single day for 1$ , you will pay more towards the fee 😅 this is why the fee of the transactions would actually be very bad for this theory .

Still , this is a good observation buy one can not use it practically because of various factors .
3093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold quickly becoming more scarce. Which will be worth more, Bitcoin or Gold? on: March 26, 2020, 08:27:41 PM
Well these are just investors buying anything they believe in. Bitcoins and Gold are something that will actually give amazing rewards when the time is right and the pandemic have passed.
I do think Bitcoins will be worth more compare to gold. When we are talking about the percentage Bitcoins is going to be earning more profit in the upcoming days .

Gold is more like a staple investment with  100 % sure results but there is still that line that they cannot cross , it cannot overshoot but Bitcoins can , that too very fast.
3094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Italian Red Cross accepts BTC as donations to fight the corona virus on: March 26, 2020, 08:18:35 PM
Italian president have already said that he no longer can control the situation and it is out of hand , with the death toll increasing day by day am really scared for Italy , the Corona virus is showing no symptoms of slowing down , they actually need all the help they can , at the time like this the government has to accept Every means of donations and prayers .
This pandemic that we lightly brushed off in the beginning is now something which is Turning out to be a catastrophe.
3095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Holders actually bought BTC during the crash? on: March 26, 2020, 08:15:03 PM
For the people who actually have enough money and can afford to buy Bitcoins this is like the golden opportunity since there is going to be no good opportunity like this , people who brought the Bitcoins will definitely get paid good in later life .

I do think crash can only recover if the people start buying Bitcoins , it is simple as that , therefore what they are doing is essential and this will inturn cause the prices to rise and this is how it all balances out .
3096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the best place to watch cryptocurrency courses? on: March 26, 2020, 07:41:44 PM
YouTube is always the option but if you are really serious about this then you can join the free Cryptocurrency courses offered by some prestigious institutions.
You will be able to lean way more efficiently and it is inturns amazing .
I myself have started taking some free courses from the Universities around the world online and trust me it's not a waste of time as one might incur.
You can ever get the certificate for some additional bucks.
Best of luck , try finding one that suits your needs.
3097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impact of printing a lot of money on inflation and Bitcoin on: March 26, 2020, 07:38:49 PM
When we are talking about the printed money and inflation they won't be changing the price of Bitcoins directly.
The outcome of printing more money will do so.
That is inflation .

Inflation will affect every part of the society and therefore Bitcoins will also be the one getting hanged in the system.
The more the government prints , the lesser will be the value of their money .
If they increase the printing of money by the percentage you stated then in less than15 years , their money will be less than half of the value and the people will be affected a lot worse .
I
3098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona crisis will be used to implement mass surveillance, BTC to the moooon...? on: March 26, 2020, 08:40:56 AM
Until and unless the situation is not controlled , nothing will go to the moon , exactly nothing.

First one needs to have a proper control over the situation that is being worsening day by day.

Then only can people start earning enough to invest in the market again .

No matter who says what , even without the mass surveillance or with it , nothing can help Bitcoins at the time of a crisis.
3099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I realise Coronavirus is not a reason why on: March 26, 2020, 08:38:31 AM
See ,
No one can fully tell what's the reason because at the end of the day , it is a decentralized Currency , you cannot point the reason out ever.

Even the US have just pushed the plan of digital dollar a little faster, so because of that many news companies are claiming that Bitcoins is going to die.

One problem with Bitcoins is their unpredictability and also at the same time you cannot be sure so as why this is happening , so don't worry much about the reason.

It's just that the whole world is suffering.
3100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safe with bitcoin? on: March 24, 2020, 04:57:18 PM
Bitcoins is
  * Providing jobs
  * Making sure the payments are made without the interaction
  * Is free from the government manipulation
  * Banks and the governments are failing , so is the currency at a time like this it's like the whole world is supporting one big currency .

I do think we are very very lucky that something like this was invented , people are supporting each other and Bitcoins is actually helping to balance out the communities where the prices of everything is dying.
