3082  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: January 05, 2023, 06:06:04 AM
3083  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Island Retreat - Sasama ba kayo? on: January 05, 2023, 05:36:04 AM
Maganda magpunta sa ganyan kung libre.  Tongue
Parang seminars lang ito about sa Bitcoin, yun nga lang need talaga mag spend if you really want to join.

Same thoughts. Hehe
3084  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin banking is more preferable than normal bank. on: January 04, 2023, 11:57:07 PM
There are advantages and disadvantages for both of it but I'm more with holding my own money through bitcoin. And as someone who likes, holds, and invests in bitcoin I'll choose to have it and I know its advantages of it.
But for someone who's not into it then the most advantageous them are banking it plainly because they're more caring about bitcoin's volatility and they trust the banking system more than it.
3085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be banned or stopped by governments on: January 04, 2023, 10:51:56 PM
They can ban establishments that will accept bitcoin or have a relation to their business and bitcoin. That's all they can do but to ban bitcoin and its entirety, they have no means of doing that.
And even if they ban it, everyone will still be able to access it no matter how hard they try, still, there will be citizens that will access bitcoin wallets and bitcoin websites even if they execute an entire ban on their country.
This is where Bitcoin do get its main support and recognition on which there's no way for Government to stop it technically or simply speaking about its operation completely. They might able to take some action

into those businesses or platforms which are attached to Bitcoin or crypto as a whole but its not something enough on completely eradicating Bitcoin into its existence. As long there would be
people and there would be someone who do make out these transactions or simply having the demand then it couldnt die.

Some had already surrendered on looking for ways and methods but they do fail but rather they do go into the opposite side which it to accept or adopt but most of the current government
are still in neutral phase.
Yes, that's what I meant to say. They can't stop bitcoin wholly but those companies, stores, establishments, and services that accept bitcoin as payment then here's where they can do something about them and that's to ban them but not bitcoin.
Eventually, they'll just have to accept the fact that bitcoin is unstoppable and no government can stop it even the miners. They just have to embrace and adopt it because that's the best thing for them to do and at the same time, they'll benefit from it if they'll implement taxation for profits made from it.

Indian government (maybe other also)  say that " to ban cryptocurrency we need global help" my question is : can bitcoin be banned if all government will agree to ban bitcoin

i am something less experience and has bad english so ignore

3087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: January 04, 2023, 09:51:58 PM
The promoter does matters IMHO. If they've got an established name already, that's much better and Manny won't just sign in to a small promoter that's not even known yet.
That's why it's an important notion for someone like him to know the promoter first before signing in. Even he's just trying to enjoy his retirement and trying to have some exhibition matches, I think that he's still get to pick the best promoter that offers decent deals.
Yes, you do actually have the point but arent these things to be standard and just common sense? Of course you would really be that sticking into those known or big promoters rather than going into those unknown or

small ones since he's not dumb on dealing with things which cant really be helpful on generating or arranging possible good exhibition fights. Its true that even he's that retired then he would be still
finding the best options on which he could able to make money or able to maximize whether those winnings could be pocketed by him solely or would be sticking into that
charity fights that he had been doing recently.
You're right.
Since this thread is about Pacquiao and DK Yoo, I think we should move forward to the next potential matches of Pacquiao. There is this news that I've seen but it's not an official one but just an analyst's opinion.

3088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many signals don't work now like they use to be on: January 04, 2023, 09:22:42 PM
If you look at the bitcoin price, it seems that it is somewhat stable and not giving any trading opportunities due to which you will feel that trading signals aren't working any more.

Secondly, we are in the bear market, so long signal won't be profitable as compared to the short signals. By the way, this bear market won't last long now as already we have seen one year of bear market. Better invest in good coins and not take leveraged trades at this moment.
On the other side, those leverage traders like this situation the most. They're just looking at the short frame of the charts and will start trading with a little leverage on their trades. Those only who know what they're doing can make a good significant profit out of the situation.
I agree with the latter about investing in good coins and one of them, as we all know that's bitcoin. Regardless of the market situation, it's advisable to take it and no signals will defeat it whether we're in a bear or bull market. I have trust issues with signals.
3089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: January 04, 2023, 08:45:49 PM
That means that we're likely to see exhibition matches coming from RIZIN promotions athletes that have also signed for them. For those that know the background of the promoter and its athletes, I guess you're not going to expect a lot from it.
But those fans that don't look at that side, it's just all about having fun and watching Pacquiao having a match with whoever's set to fight him and that's everything to all of those fans that just want to be there to watch him box.
Doesnt matter on whose the promoter or whatever who do get in line with Pacquiaos exhibition fight then it would be surely be watched considering that he had lots of fans worldwide which it is really that expected
to look for those certain fights. Common sense thing that they wont really be arranging these type of fights if there werent viewers or demand. If Pacquiao's 1st exhibition match turns out to be successful or he
did really purse out some considerable amounts then why not on making another one?

Despite of being already retired, he could still pull off some good fights even if it needs to match up with fellow boxers which i do see to be interesting than into those non.

You can have this news on the known Coindesk and Cointelegraph, they've got a dedicated tag for "NFT" on their websites.
I just need a browser for it but both has an app, so, you can download them if that's what you want.
3091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 04, 2023, 07:43:47 PM
Just got home and watched the game, last 5 minutes in the 4th quarter, and the Dragons are leading by just a few points 5.

Time for Ginebra to bounce back, and with the help of the crowd, there's a huge chance that they will win the last quarter and probably win the game as well. Goo luck Ginebra fans and Ginebra bettors, this is our last push.
The crowd is always with the Gins and that's for sure the majority of them are cheering for their victory. Well, the attendance for game 3 is 15,004.

Just an update: 2:03 time left and score 79-79.

I knew it, they came back in the 4th quarter and won big in game 3. Now the series is in favor of Ginebra, it's 2-1. Thanks to the tip shot of Thompson and the clutch 3 point shot of Tenorio. Also, it's sad to see that Nicholson has been injured in the game, looks like it was a serious injury, hopefully he can still play in game 4.
Many were disappointed by his injury and thought that things will be favorable to them but it's not. Those outside threes made by the Gins were actually satisfying to watch.
Congratulations to them for winning the 3rd game, just a few games left and then they'll just prove that they're champs and no guest team shall prevail.  Tongue

3093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchanger do you recommend to convert btc to eth? on: January 04, 2023, 11:17:19 AM
I prefer Atomic Wallet, you can exchange your bitcoins for Ethereum with good fees and you do not need KYC, also the Godex.io platform and Letsexchange.io are the best for me as you can do many transactions anonymously
I'm not familiar with Godex or Letsexchange but as far as I know, Atomic Wallet uses Changenow to process the transaction. So, the KYC policy might change and get complicated even if you don't use Changenow directly. There have been many negative discussions about Changenow in the past iirc, so anyone interested in using them is recommended to research more about them.

Changenow aside, so many of these instant exchanges don't offer their own exchange but connect to other services like Changelly, Changenow, etc. I've seen so many KYC complaints in the past even if the transaction amount is allegedly low. So be careful when using them. If you don't want to risk it, you better use Bisq or something similar if converting to BTC is the only thing that you need.
That's usually what these instant exchanges or swaps do as we know. I think I'm familiar with godex but never have used them. I'd like to add and also recommend bisq.
Although some of the mentioned are really convenient to use but not until they randomly ask you with kyc even if the transaction you're about to do isn't that much.
@OP, how you doing, which exchange/swap you chose?
3094  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: January 04, 2023, 02:51:57 AM
Dyan natin makikita na to save their boat they just throw away their passenger  Grin.  It is not worth investing ang mga kumpanya na ganito.  Isipin mo majority of SLP holder ay iyong nagtiwala ng husto sa kanila, hindi nagbenta dahil nagtitiwala sa kakayanan ng developer na ipush through ang SLP at bigyan ito ng value dahil isa ito a pinangakong reward ng Developer.  Then bigla na lang nila iaabandon.  This is the same as scam/fraud attempt dahil hindil na meet ng developer ang mga promised terms nila, which is thre reason why naginvest ang maraming tao sa kanila.
Tapos uulit lang tapos develop nanaman utility token.
3095  Local / Pamilihan / Re: coins.ph incoming transaction rejected. on: January 04, 2023, 01:09:58 AM

Di ba sabi ng nila, do banking without a bank, that's crypto, para di na mangyayari yan kasi hindi tayo pwedeng maging independent, need to be regulated na.
3096  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone out there doing money by trading? How? on: January 03, 2023, 11:55:56 PM
The more I learn I am kind of coming to conclusion that trading in the long run is not profitable. I mean I don't know any single person who is doing decent amount of money for living by trading in crypto. Hence the question: do you know anyone who is successful trading in crypto? or are you doing well by trading crypto?
I did know a lot of people who became successful in trading crypto. But, here's the catch, they're not just traders but investors as well. They don't hassle themselves in the daily trading of their lives through crypto. They understand how volatile it is and how risky it is.
They're choosing to be passive than to be aggressive and cope with the daily trend of the market. I can say that I'm not that too active anymore in trading but I can say that I'm happy and quite well with my situation as of the moment but not with the market.
3097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 03, 2023, 11:24:51 PM
I have bet more on sporting events because they're more fun to me. But I also made some bets through dice games.

Money isnt considered to be wasted if you are really just playing for fun and you wont really be minding about making money
I doubt it that as you have fun, you're not even thinking about making money. It's all about making money that everyone wants to have and as we're losing, we're just enjoying it as a counterpart of our losses.
3098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PI Network! A huge trap[Warning!] on: January 03, 2023, 10:53:59 PM
This PI thing, I dont know how legit it is , but what I heard was that once they launch it a Pi will worth more than a hundred dollars, which is really huge , I have a friend that has gotten up to 15k pi and he is still mining,  but I don't see it happening in the nearest 4years
My opinion sha, and some people have problems of KYC , many have stopped mining while many are still mining,
It's been years since this project launched. It's not worth your time and just like your friend, it's a false hope that he's leaning on. Sorry to say but they should have proven themselves a long time ago but they didn't. Accept the fact that they have no actual plans of being in exchanges.
Don't be fooled by where the pi token is listed now because it is not even withdrawable and deposits are disabled and that's not the token that you think you can earn that much. Whoever that are involved with this are just playing the minds and emotion of everyone.
3099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: January 03, 2023, 10:20:53 PM
Guys, but wasnt RIZIN promotion is more oriented on mix martial arts? Which makes it possible for Manny to have his next fight as an exhibition boxing fight against some popular in Asia kickboxer or MMA fighter.  Like Mayweather had against Nasukawa. It was a RIZIN fight also. Imho we should not expect anything special from that Pacman contract with RIZIN.

As far as I know, RIZIN is the top promotions when it comes to MMA talents and kick boxing. So, I guess Manny Pacquiao sheltered with that promotion because they offered Manny Pacquiao a good and decent guaranteed money that is acceptable as a boxing legend in-exchange of fighting their top players where RIZIN views it as a guaranteed millions because maybe their fighters there are also famous and can attract audience with mixing Pacquiao on the equation.
3100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PI Network! A huge trap[Warning!] on: January 03, 2023, 09:57:13 PM
^
I don't think that they really have plans of listing it on any exchange, they've stated that they're not going to list it somewhere else. And while they're parked and quiet, these opportunists took time to make a token that has the same name as PI so that it'll be hyped and those that have mined it will think that it's currently listed on any exchange but it's not. Whoever has become interested in buying it, be ready that your pockets will cry later on. Don't FOMO on this one.
