His target is to become a GOAT, can he surpass Jordan?
IMHO, Jordan will always be the best player of basketball and next to that is Kobe.
They are almost alike when it comes to being genius in the game and hard work.

But surpassing Jordan? LBJ already did that in so many ways. I am not a pure fan of this guy but I salute him for his work ethic.
Like his new record with 27 triple-double that might surpass Magic with 30 or tie it.

Then just hours ago, sealing his 10th time appearance in the Finals which is in league now with Bill Russell, Sam Jones and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
You see, there is no Jordan name there anymore. He surpassed him in a different way.

I am also not sure on what team to bet in game 6, but I have some good stats on the totals.

Heat vs Celtics (over/under)

Game 1 - 209.5 - over
Game 2 - 208 - under
Game 3 - 208.5 over
Game 4 - 212 over
Game 5 - 213.5 over

The same for me having a difficult time to choose.
Celtics ended the game strong last time and they might still be in momentum with a lot of confidence.

I always take the Over bet as long as it is under 220 points.  Wink

3082  Economy / Economics / Re: Big in Japan: giant Gundam robot makes its first moves in Yokohama on: September 27, 2020, 11:12:41 AM
This can attract many tourist and that’s why they invested on this because they know people will love this since this is our childhood memories. This is very timely, not that the whole world is suffering because of pandemic we need something else to give us hope and bring back the smile on our faces, I want to see this big Robot next year when olympic begins! Smiley

This is a form of optimism from Japan that the pandemic will end soon. Japan has developed a strategy of stealing start first, with the Gundam robot it will attract foreign and domestic tourists, which in turn will improve the tourism sector and boost the Japanese economy. Other countries can learn from Japan, not only thinking about overcoming the pandemic but also starting to formulate policies and post-pandemic recovery, so when the pandemic is over, it can immediately take off.

Yes, no doubt it is the purpose behind the scenes.
I mean, they are already a tourist attraction with their discipline and good food.
They added more spice to it by creating fiction in real life. Damn, that was really good.

I am still awed by how great the vast structure is with its colors and everything.
Then, they made it move?!! Are you kidding me?! Of course I want to see that after this pandemic.  Grin

Do we have Celtics bettor  at -3.5?
I'll pass on that one.
I have nothing to cheer with since the Nuggets are already out so I am going for the Heat to contend against the strong Lakers.  Grin

Lots of problem for the Nuggets, Murray seems injured while Jokic can't get away with some foul trouble.
Lakers are just all over tonight, they played some good defense against the main scorer of the team and they get a win.
You can feel there is no energy anymore. They are truly exhausted from coming back and forth with the Jazz and Clippers.
Just look at this stats.
https://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/NBA_2020_totals.html#totals_stats::mp

I think what Coach Malone will learn from this is to also trust the roleplayers.
Jokic and Murray might still be young but they are still human beings.
3084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 27, 2020, 03:47:19 AM
Sad day.
Well, they played great but we can see the fatigue. They can rest now.
I hope they go back next year with a stronger team. They had great roleplayers, just a little polish is needed.
Lakers played well and Lebron was on fire.

27th playoff triple-double for Lebron. 3 more and he will be tied with Magic.
Lost my bet but Grant didn't let me down once again.

I should have added more rebounds.  Grin
It's still active but he got 9rebs 20pts.

Seems it's just an echo chamber that tells you your bags are going to the moon... And if the price happens to go down? ?
....then it's another chance to fill your bags even more LMFAO!

One critical observation.... Instaban!

Silly ass shit

Am I wrong?

Are we talking about the project of Telegram here?
Or you accusing the application as trash because of the people using it?

Anyone could just create their groups and there is no way Telegram could filter them all.
I have been with groups with those kind of strategy. It's like some of "supposedly investors" there are just pretending and they are also part of the team.
3086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 26, 2020, 06:01:22 PM
But Tatum showcased something special. They should keep up that momentum.

Brown and Tatum actually, these are the same guys who played well in game 3, and now they did it again here.

If both will continue to be consistent, I think the Celtics might get this series to game 7.
Yes, sorry I forgot about Brown. He was really the one who put a far deficit to seal the game.  Grin
But game 6 might become a hardcore game. Miami won't let that happen again.
If that game 5 made Tatum and Brown exhausted, I am sure the Heat will take advantage of it. They are a young team who could still put a lot of minutes in the game.

I almost forgot my bet. Thankfully, I checked this thread.  Wink
Denver Nuggets & over 215.5.
I want to see Jeremy Grant step up again so I am putting some bets for his stats too.
3087  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Gaming Drive Cryptocurrency Adoption? on: September 26, 2020, 02:35:21 PM
Both above me are right.
It's somehow boring to read that kind of long text, especially in this forum.
Most users will just answer what is asked in the title.

I haven't tried the example named above which is cryptokitties but I heard a lot about it when it was hyped.
I am a gamer even before, wasting a lot of money with MMORPG's that needs top-up cards just to log in every month.
Yes, gaming could be the answer, a part of it.
3088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 26, 2020, 11:15:18 AM
Hi guys,

Who should win today? Lakers or Nuggets? I'm not really sure that Lakers are able to win today's raffle, but still want to place my bet on this match?  Huh

Sorry but my emotion always takes over so I am with Nuggets here.  Grin
Although many analysts like Stephen A says the Nuggets are already exhausted (obviously they are) I will support them until the end of this series.
Oh yeah, don't forget about this. Saw it too in my news feed.
Plus they have some advantage if Davis would not play as he is listed questionable in game 5.

Great game from the Celtics.
That's what we want to see from them.
I really thought they have been giving everything in the last 4 games.
But Tatum showcased something special. They should keep up that momentum.

A little help for those asking at what NFT is.
Quote
A non-fungible token (NFT), also known as a nifty[1], is a special type of cryptographic token which represents something unique; non-fungible tokens are thus not mutually interchangeable by their individual specification.[2] This is in contrast to cryptocurrencies like Zcash, and many network or utility tokens that are fungible in nature.
Source:Wikipedia
I hope the OP has added it too, to avoid more questions.

2021? No. It would still be DeFi.
My prediction is 1 year before the hype will slow down.
If Nifty is next in line then it might happen in Ber months of 2021 or 2022.
3090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 26, 2020, 01:40:32 AM

I could easily say that conference finals are not like other levels of basketball, you are literally just 5 wins away from championship, do you really think teams will leave from this level? Miami and lakers are both going to finals in my book, don't care how long it takes but they are both doing it. There is a narrative to be made there as well, Lakers are usually veterans, Miami has so many young players, it is Lebron vs Miami the team he brought 2 championships, there is so much story there as well. I would still prefer if the conference finals were battle of Los Angeles and Lakers beat Clippers and finals would be Lakers vs Celtics historic rivalary, but this Miami thing works out well for Lebron reasons as well. Hopefully there is no injury in neither teams, thats all I am hoping for now.

Hopefully none. We are being entertained with great games and we all want that to continue until the end.

But if Lakers win against the Nuggets, it will be difficult for Miami Heat to win the championship.
Remember, these teams in the East are now making thru up the Conference Finals because LBJ is in West now.  Wink

Watching Celtics vs Heat live and it looks like the Heat want to finish this one early to have a good rest afterward.
That is if Nuggets could still win one more.
3091  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we biased? on: September 25, 2020, 05:53:14 PM

FOMO is not good for the newbies because they are missing the real point of the market and they will lose money for sure. Bitcoin price movement is very volatile and since day 1, cryptomarket is risky because the market works 24/7 and anything can happen. If you can't afford the risk of bitcoin better not to put much money on this, not until you learn how to deal with bitcoin. We are not that biased, we are just seeing things accordingly and based on what the market tells us.
That's true.
But, didn't we all walk that path?

For me, it would be best for them to experience it from the start.
That way, lessons will be learned while they are still investing low or being careful.
The worse scenario is they will learn it late and just when they are starting to put more money on the line.
3092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 25, 2020, 03:37:26 PM
You still have bullets to win you bet.
Yeah, that's like a fall back if ever I lose with the Denver game.
I have been doing it this last few days.  Wink

Congrats Lakers, Lebron guard Murray making sure that the last foul that they've contest was a mistake, he really make it tough
for Murray to score, one more for both Miami and Lakers. Good luck to your next sets of picks.
That's the good story behind it and I don't see a lot of fans talking about it.
Lebron challenged Murray and this is because he might knew what ESPN news said about his stats at clutch time.
He was a damn 73 percent. Lebron stopped that. Should be a big story.

Bets:
Miami Heat & over 212.5
Good luck guys.
3093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the future holds for bitcoin on: September 25, 2020, 02:12:57 PM
Easy to say when you live in an urban section of your country.
But when you go rural, you will see a huge difference.

They are still leaning in paper money with every transaction they make.
No smartphones or if they do, just 1 per family.
Sure, bitcoin might be the future but it's just way far to be implemented for now. Maybe if every country is Japan.  Wink
3094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 25, 2020, 08:34:13 AM
I really assumed Celtics would win this game, I even wagered on it, Miami really plays differently, they are really a great modern team, I assumed Celtics was the modern NBA team prototype because of how they have wings who could shoot, defend and go inside as well, those wings are very important, but Miami once again showed the world it is not about just one star player, it is about the whole team and when you have "role players" that are doing their role amazingly, and I mean like perfectly execute it, you will not lose.

They came thus far thanks to everyone knowing what their strength and weakness is and they optimized their talents to get the most out of it. They remind of late 2000's or early 2010's Spurs in a way, playing this amazing team basketball to get most of out every possession and player.

Coach Spoelstra managed to combined 3 stars and win a championship. I think he could also control these young players to play at their best.
That's a good comparison with the Spurs team back then but they will need a championship to seal that.  Grin

Last time there are no minutes for some players like Kelly Olynyk. I am more worried about this.
The rotation of players should still be there to get the best chemistry they could.
You don't want them getting cold on the bench then getting out if something bad happens.

Nuggets lose. I mean this is the start. Just like Coach Malone joked about.

I just hoped you also shared the link so we could check it out.
That at least could help more to put more awareness of how these scammers make their scam attempts.
I am also intrigued by how it looks.

It will never end, as long as the hype is still in process, scammers will try to take advantage of it.
3096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 25, 2020, 04:29:22 AM
These two teams, Heat and Celtics play so much zone defense, one just have to take advantage of the open corner 3s and the rebounds  Grin

I will probably add Crowder for gm5, dude has been missing so many open ones (3/17 last two games), and his are just wiiide open spot up 3s.
I wish Celtics to take the next two, these series have been extremely profitable for me, i don't want to be over in 5. hehe
Props to Tyler Herro, he was just unbelievable!

Wow.
I have been trying that kind of bets and I win some but most of the time lose it.
But still, I want to learn more about how to predict player's stats.

Lakers win!
Congratulations to the winners. I won over but it was paired with Denver winning the game.  Cheesy
Thankfully, one guy didn't let me down.

3097  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we biased? on: September 24, 2020, 05:45:54 PM
I agree that it is better to see the bitcoin in a very long term perspective. That way, it's easier for me to see bitcoin winning the war on fiat and distancing itself from other high-risk assets.

It's a pitty how the price is behaving nowadays, though,

That's the good thing about it.
There is always the fear of missing out (FOMO).

Have you been to the point like 2017?
I was at the crucial moment of selling my bitcoin in exchange for USD. But, there is always the thought of what you will miss out if you did that.
I do think there is a large percentage of bitcoin holders who think the same. Then, there are those who will keep it for a long time.
Yes, a crisis may come (we are actually in a crisis now) but I don't think the bitcoin value will go so far down.
3098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 24, 2020, 02:54:59 PM
A great win from Miami Heat once again.
Nuggets vs Lakers later.

Heads up!

Thanks again, guys.
It was a roller-coaster ride kind of game.
The come back of the Celtics at the last minute was just impossible.
Most of it was supposed to end the game with a 9 point lead. Well, thanks to that a lot of Over 212-213 bets won.  Grin

Celtics ain't Denver, I don't know if they still have something to show that will surprise the Heat, maybe they have shown everything and heat already has answers to whatever they will do.
They added Hayward to their rotation for the expense of loss in chemistry.
I also see chokes happening. Tatum had a difficult time making decisions and he was 0 point in the first half.
If they want to win, they should start strong and keep it until the end.
Then, there is Kemba Walker. I don't see the spark in him. He cannot just let the Heat lock him like that.
He was a damn offensive guy.
3100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers targeting Youtube accounts to promote their projects on: September 24, 2020, 08:01:43 AM
First time I heard hacking a Youtube account for the purpose of promoting their project more.
I have heard a lot about Facebook though.

I tried to click the news link but there is no article or something that could be read there.
Browsed more with the page and I saw a photo where it is said he had 2FA activated. But I doubt that.
Even if your email is hacked, hackers will not have the 2FA. They will need your phone first or the security key to make a new one.
Worse, a video call for identity check.

Will Youtube even do anything about this and so does other social media?
Security should be tight especially now when hackers have a lot of time tinkering things to get in.
