3081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Price Prediction on: March 20, 2021, 02:33:24 PM
Elon Musk in the game is somethig short term or something that cannot be relied on for all the time. Maybe he comes every year or two years to pump it, but one day he will exit for something more serious or his very own coin or whatever.

100 satoshi seems to be the new price. Expect it to go to 50 satoshi when BTC hits another ATH at 100k.
3082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: March 20, 2021, 02:02:11 PM
Please guys help me suggest coins to buy. I’m a student and I don’t really know much about crypto but I need the money for financial freedom and help my dad cover some of my school costs. Please guys.

Please ignore ALL the advice you get from this forum including mine;)

Research on your own and find your own answers. Personally, I will only say 2 things:
- invest what you can afford to lose and in fact expect that all the money you invest is lost
- only Bitcoin and only wallet with private keys for your eyes only.
3083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 20, 2021, 12:55:21 PM
I also just realized now there are only 4 games and in fact it seems to include 1 game that I already had a pick from before so I guess they moved that from a previous week to pad this week with an extra one.

Imagine if you got perfect you would only have 12 points from this whole week:)

They're tricky games this round so I'd be surprised if people got more than two scores or even outcomes right. I'm still debating whether to go for all draws for every match. Most of the strongest teams are playing away and I definitely don't trust Spurs right now especially after losing to Arsenal and the stuffing they got in the Champion's League.

I thought about it a lot too, there seems to be more and more draws of late but I changed to a Leeds win and a Brighton win,,, so far glad I did. 5 exact scores already in the pool but I guess 2-1 is a favorite outcome to pick for people.

Spurs losing to arsenal and then to a team who just lost their manager,,, I lost a lot of money on both games and again now wondering which Spurs will show up:(
3084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: March 19, 2021, 12:32:52 PM
Because I have no idea where the favorites are in this list,,, I will try to be smart and follow some of your guys picks, but change based on Google popularity (yes I have to pick the popular now not the bookie favorite). Is it common in basketball that home teams have advantage? I know too late since I made picks already,,, but curious.

Arkansas - Colgate 2
Baylor - Hartford 1
Chicago - Georgia Tech 2
Clemson - Rutgers 2
Florida - Virginia Tech 1
Houston - Cleveland 1
Illinois - Drexel 1
North Carolina - Wisconsin 2
Ohio State - Oral Roberts 1
Oklahoma State - Liberty 1
Purdue - North Texas 1
San Diego - Syracuse 1
Tennessee - Oregon State 2
Texas Tech - Utah State 1
Villanova - Winthrop 1
West Virginia - Morehead 1
3085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just a matter of time until UNISWAP (ETH) got beaten by PancakeSwap (BSC) on: March 19, 2021, 12:00:35 PM
As a famous decentralized exchange, a change to Binance doesn't seem realistic because Uniswap is a decentralized exchange. Ethereum might have high fees currently, but it is very decentralized.

It is just going to switch the network not the platform but I do agree somewhat, to choose Binance Smart Chain over Ethereum is a very shortsighted move. It is like moving to Bitcoin Cash from Bitcoin just because you get faster confirmations and cheaper fees. I really do not think that kind of move is sustainable.
3086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: March 19, 2021, 10:15:54 AM
Yes, the internet is very influential when betting and it will be very annoying if the internet connection is lost, and when reconnected the bet fails or causes losses, and will become emotional because the bet we choose has a winning feeling.
choosing the right time and supported by a good internet connection is the right and comfortable choice when betting.

Internet is influential when using the internet,,, not internet is influential when betting. I think you guys are all just making a big deal out of this,,, sorry but fast or slow does not change my emotions:)

The only thing I can think of is live betting, which even I very rarely try because firstly of my not-so-good internet, and second because I know my own secondary connection makes it even harder.
3087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DFT] DeFiat speculation on: March 19, 2021, 08:42:34 AM
So did anyone here actually try putting your "rugged" coins into this project? I think I may have a few tokens (airdropped to me before and now rugged anyway without me ever doing anything),,, would like to know which coins are the highest value so I can put them all there if it is worth it now with the price of ETH fees!
3088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non Fungible Token (NFT) questions on: March 19, 2021, 08:01:16 AM
I still do not understand NFTs from OP's perspective though,,, maybe we should be asking the people who buy and sell art normally.

Why would you buy the NFT when the art itself is not necessarily non-reproducible?

Like Tweets being made NFT. How is it you can make a COA out of that? And what about music and other forms of art how do you say an NFT reflects those rights?

3091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TEN- The Evolution of Decentralized Finance on: March 19, 2021, 06:22:46 AM
So we have to use BSC to get TEN? Can we instead just stake in a farm that gives out TEN rewards? I could not find it in my token search or pool search (I do not want to use ten.finance itself). Defi noob here only trying staking a little to test it out.

Oh,,, and certik is no longer good I hear.
3092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 19, 2021, 06:03:36 AM
Congratulations Croations. My team crashed out of Europa League which Mourinho thought he could win for us. I knew it was over the way we played even when the whistle blew for extra time already. You guys also played not bad in the first leg to be honest.

Hattrick hero will not be allowed to sleep. Please go on and win this okay?
3093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] How many online casinos are you actively playing in? on: March 18, 2021, 12:15:02 PM
More than 1, but for sure smaller than 5:) I do not think I ever played at more than 5 before!

The one I played at the most closed down recently, (I used to carry their signature for 2 years) so after yolodice now I almost do not play dice anymore.

Sportsbook only 2 I play at, casino 3. But a real proper casino? Maybe have to say just 1:)

3095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking is not for Muslims on: March 18, 2021, 10:05:51 AM
Thank god I do not have to compete with 1/6th of the world now to stake my coins, phew! But then wait,,, is it not also illegal for many other religions?

But seriously, how anyone could see staking and PoS rewards as equivalent to usury, for me begs wonderment. Need to check up on your definitions,,, dear mullah OP;)
3096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: March 18, 2021, 08:56:45 AM
The problem is that when it goes up nobody says anything, and when correction starts many people immediately think bad things will come. Not too unfamiliar to some when they first join, even those in this market for a long time always encounter that phenomenon. No need to be afraid, I am a person who has gone through the same monetary losses to realize many of the problems of this market, the psychology of the crowd is very important, and I like what my instincts. In this space tell me where this market is going.

Same old crypto story,,, get used to it. People blame whales for dumping and then say it should not be allowed to happen but hey when the giants billions in Bitcoin, everybody cheers and says "what a great day for adoption, please elon, buy more"!

I would not say do not be afraid,,, I think always invest what you can lose,,, but yes, to not fear, you must invest and not expect.
3097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: insane fees on eth (uniswap) on: March 18, 2021, 08:16:50 AM
This had been an issue on the ERC-20 platform since the Defi hype started. The fees will kill small investors since microtransactions still have huge fees. BNB created a solution to this providing lower fees and faster transactions, it had become one of the best platforms for Defi projects. There are a lot of altcoins that is competing with ETH right now such as ADA, BNB, DOT and many more, I guess this is the meaning of becoming one of the top coins in crypto, whatever your lapses are will be used against you. These platforms offers low transaction fees and developing and solving ethereum's problem applying it in blockchain.

BNB provided a solution but this was exactly what Bitcoin Cash did when they said Bitcoin was not scalable. And we all know what happened to it. Nobody used it no matter how cheap it was.

Providing a new chain to ask people to migrate to is not always the best solution,,, it might seem like it is working now for BSC but I wonder how sustainable after defi and nft dies?
3098  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Hot 🔥 Stuff = New games to try out! on: March 18, 2021, 06:57:46 AM
They should make a new ruling for St Patricks Day and give it to a fixed weekend every year otherwise how else can you also enjoy your Irish beer and gamble during a weekday?Smiley

Anyway, happy St Pat to those who celebrate,,, where I have managed to see it is only in Irish pubs but it is not so bad,,, except now in covid not a sign of anything to do outside:)
3099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying 1 BTC is ‘like owning 60 cars? on: March 18, 2021, 06:25:12 AM
Owning and using 60 cars to provide a means of independent yet totally secure and totally reliable way to store value or send payments to each other across the world 24/7 regardless of location and identity and social standing? Sounds like a very good way to tradeoff $60000 or 60 cars:) I honestly cannot see their points of these politicians some times,,,
3100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Attack on PancakeSwap and Cream domains to steal seed phrase from users on: March 17, 2021, 02:50:52 PM
Just another reminder that it does not matter how secure the technology is (blockchain and cryptography) and it does not matter how secure the platform is (defi and non custodial),,, if you have bad users who do not know how to practice simply online safety, then you risk losing your funds anyway.
