3081  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I hope it's finally over for CEXs on: November 16, 2022, 09:59:35 PM
I hope it's finally over for centralised exchanges

Not sure though,  I mean we have been pitching this since 2017, that people should used DEX for their trades, but there's no volume for them and people still go and trust CEX more. If there is such a surge in used then it could have happen many years ago.

Maybe what we are using is just an offset obviously as to what happen to FTX, nevertheless, there are also disadvantage of DEX that we tend to play along with CEX more, just saying.

Took a couple days off from the games bit there is some good games on deck tonight.  Locking in 4 games

Bucks -4 gotta ride the Bucks here
Mavs -6.5 doncic is just too good, think they roll tonight
NO -1.5 this is one of my dark horse teams.
Toronto -1.5. They are tough at home and think it will be close but they win this game against Miami.

Good luck and enjoy the games everyone!

I'll tail you with the Hornets against against the Pacers, but I will pick the -2.5 to pick the ante, it's their home so I expect them to play good.

Boston Celtics vs Atlanta Hawks, 2 great teams, -1.5 for the Celtics here, I trust Boston to win on the road as they are a good road team.

Best of luck to everyone.
3083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo partners with Binance on: November 16, 2022, 09:18:57 PM
I just saw an ad from Binance that they're attracting customers to visit them and take those Ronaldo NFTs. I think it's too late for Binance to hype the NFT thing for any endorser that they have.
It's much better if they've done this deal last year and with the short span, I'm sure that their sales should have skyrocketed if being done at the right time. But, maybe there are still some other deals that Ronaldo has to prioritize. Anyway, will there be a chance that Binance will allow this NFT to be used in gambling material and be partnered with other casinos?

I think still a good deal as we are in the world cup, I mean that is still Ronaldo that we are talking here, one of the best player so there is still a lot of hype surrounding his name. And maybe this is just a test for Binance as well partnering with world class athlete, regardless of NFT or promotion of their crypto exchange or anything that relates to their product. And I think this is huge for crypto, and for sure there could be another crypto exchange that will follow Binance path. But I guess CZ has the bragging rights again as he set the precedence. Probably the NFT hype will go till the next bull run.
3084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Crypto crash is imminent today on: November 16, 2022, 11:52:36 AM
In the next few more minutes (70 minutes more ) over 60,000,000 Solana will be unlocked and famz this will probably shrink BTC down again, way down to past year lows of 10k to 12k, be ready.

I think we are just lucky that this is happening in a Bear Market, it would have been gorier than it is right now, do not hesitate to take this opportunity to dollar average cost as this could be a life time opportunity once again.

Good luck .

At least explain it though why it will affect the price of crypto not just bitcoin because of the unlocking.

Are you saying that we will see an immediate dump of over  60,000,000 Solana? And to be honest, I'm not able to follow Solana's news regarding this unlocked or something. In any case, the market is already at the edge and maybe another negative news, it will plunge the market again.

But as you have said, perfect, another good time to rebuy and to DCA until such time we enter into a bull run.
3085  Economy / Speculation / Re: Markets pumped quick after CZ said this, but don't FOMO yet! on: November 16, 2022, 10:36:17 AM
I'm a bit surprised, at first there was a lot of talk about Binance and CZ's role in the FTX exchange crisis, CZ's backtracking on the FTX deal was a merciful shot at FTX's death, now these statements by CZ come as a surprise to me, I hope His intentions are really good because there is some talk about CZ's dream of becoming an unrivaled Crypto Emperor.
November is the month of violent turmoil so hopefully things will end well and stability and prosperity will return to the crypto market.

Others say that it's a play that CZ design and then backing up in the last minute to really pus the price to another bottom at around $15k.

But there are pro CZ says that he doesn't want to inherit the big issues that FTX will have to face in the future so he didn't push with the plans.

In any case, for us the damage has been done, we survived, although the market is very volatile as of the moment that any bad news will trigger another huge withdrawal again. Hopefully, the market will settle down and bounce to at least $18k levels.
3086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 16, 2022, 10:10:15 AM
There are a lot of rumors surrouding Durant, there are even some rumors if him going to the Lakers in a trade with AD. But still, he seems to be enjoying his Nets stint without Kyrie at the side.
wow, is this a possibility? I confess I was totally out of touch lol

Hmm, I don't know, AD is a fundamental player (even though he's not in his prime)
If he is traded, the Lakers won't have a big player like him, after all who can replace him?

Although Durant and LeBron could make a nice duo (or even a trio with Westbrook lol)

I also don't know how Durant could fit into the Lakers, the team already has LeBron James, although, Durant could play (SF) and LeBron James (PF), it could be an opportunity

Possible but highly unlikely. KD has no choice but to enjoy playing rather than feel the stress of what the team has become. I really believe that if his team won't step up, KD will be traded before this season ends.

If Bron and KD team up each other, their spirits will be lifted and they will play at their best. But I don't even know how it happens. Lakers priority if they are to acquire a big star for Bron will have to unload Westbrook and its super huge contract first. I think Westbrook is the highest paid Laker right now. But the season already started, I do not think the Lakers are willing to give up its future first-round draft picks just to unload Westbrook. Lakers will sacrifice this whole season and starts to re-arm itself next season without the burden from Westbrook.

As what I said, it's just a rumor as of now, same here, not sure how Durant will fit, but we have seen him with the Golden State with another MVP in Curry. Same with Lebron, he has been with another alpha in Irving and Dwade in the past.

But yeah, the problem is still with the Westbrook trade this did, and now it's becoming a burden as no teams is willing get it without the Lakers sacrificing their first and second round pick.

3088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 15, 2022, 10:45:19 PM
As long as Joel Embiid is healthy and plays like that, I'll see Philadelphia as a serious contender. He is doing incredible work and elevating his team. A few games later, Sixers will be back in the play-off spot. I haven't seen a team that stands out so much this season. Boston and Milwaukee are in similar level as Philly. In the Western Conference there is no team that stands out much. It looks a little more balanced there. I was expecting a fall in Golden State but what happened to Lakers? They fell off worse than I expected. LeBron should go to a better team to chase another championship.

Right, Joel Embiid already bring them to the playoff many years ago, it's just that they always fall out, not saying that they choke, but something is lacking not on Joel but on this team mate. Last year it was a good season again for him, if not for the early injuries that cause him to sit, he could be the MVP last year. So it will be a tough  challenge for him and the Sixers, the Bucks and the Heat and the Celtics will be there waiting for Joel. So I'm expecting a tough playoff in the East from those teams.
3089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 14, 2022, 11:57:00 PM
^^ Goodluck with your parlay mate, hope that you can win betting on the favorites.

I will just stick with the Bucks against the Hawks, -3.5, chances are Giannis will play although he has been listed as probable. They need to get back against the Hawks here.

I'm seeing Giannis being dominant in this game.
3090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bought 8000 lottery tickets on: November 14, 2022, 11:32:10 PM
Costs only 0.1 $ ticket
8000 ticketsc for 800$

What my odda to get 6 numbers?

https://ibb.co/kcJMM2b

If my math is right  Grin your chances of hitting a 6 digits lottery with 1 ticket is 1,000,000.

So if you buy 8000 tickets then it will be 8000/1,000,000.

And that 8000 tickets should be unique as well so get the percentage or chances of you hitting the lottery.

1 out 2 nga ako brader, ganda ng ng kuha ko sa Kings, wala akong tiwala sa Warriors this year hehehe baka hindi makapag back to back. Mahina ang second unit, hindi katulad last year.

Ang Nets naman, wala, kulang sa chemistry at pasahan.

Samahan na lang kita sa Bucks mo, kailangang makabawi sila ngayon. Probable daw si Giannis pero kung makakapag laro yan, malaki pag asa nila.
3092  Economy / Speculation / Re: Generational Buying Period is On-Going on: November 14, 2022, 10:58:40 PM
I think it's an easy decision though to buy at this price, DCA or simply buying in bulk, or whatever fits your strategy. The price is cheap, one thread says that we are in 2018 price, or 2017 prior to the all time high that time. So yes, generational buying period or simply accumulation phase.

History already tell us that in the future, the price will experience a massive growth.

Just a matter of time on how we are going to see and seized the advantage that we have today.
3093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: November 14, 2022, 10:39:59 PM
^ Yes, that's the thing when fighters are under contract, in this case Spence under PBC. He can't do anything if the management says that he needs to fight boxer A. So even if he doesn't want to, for sure he will be force to fight Thurman next as they have been mandated.

As of now, Spence is still blaming Crawford for their fight not happening.

And with that, both fighters now have move on, they will have their own schedule fight. Not sure though if the doors is still open for another set of negotiations if they win their respective fights as Crawford make it public as what is the reasons.

I think you mean Crawford's blaming Spence including Al because they are the main factors on why the unification fight suddenly become hard and impossible for Crawford. Well, it's understandable that Spence cannot do anything because Crawford was in that same situation too when he was still with Bob Arum. I just pity Crawford because he waited long enough to the point that he was already inactive for a year, and this is what he received.

Yes, but still though, you can sense that Spence is not going to accept it in public that they are the reasons for this falling out.

Crawford recognized that he can't make the fight with Bob, and so he decided not to sign the contract. And yet why the fight didn't still happen? They said Top Rank and PBC are not in good terms, unfortunately even if Crawford is no longer with Top Rank and try to negotiate himself in the fight, PBC tries everything in their power to not just give him a fair deal, but stall the fight multiple times since May.

Just show how powerful Al Haymon is in the business of boxing. Powerful enough to not push the fight in one of the biggest in 147 lbs in recent years. And it seems to me that Spence Jr have been sort of brainwashed that he didn't need Crawford to be great or a legend. But we think otherwise.

Maybe the camp of Spence and Al Haymon will be silent about that issues until it settles down. But that is a sign that somewhat what Crawford says in public is true as they are not refuting it at all.
3094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 14, 2022, 10:22:32 PM
How about Joel Embiid putting up the best stat line of the year so far last night. He got 59 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 blocks. A monster night. He also scored 26 of the 76ers final 27 points. He did it all while shooting 19 of 28 from the field. They’re saying it was a Wilt Chamberlin style stat line. Not bad. Just yesterday I was reading that the 76ers were trying to work a deal to get Durant to Philly…
wow, I confess that I didn't know about this performance by Embiid.
I just watched some highlights of the game that I saw he dominated the game in the final moments.

Watched the first few quarters, and for me it's kinda boring though, so I switch from the Lakers vs Nets game to GSW vs Kings. And then we have Garland as well exploding for a 51 game performance in a lost against the Wolves.

By the way, is there really that possibility of Durant going to the 76ers? Or is this just some rumor?

There are a lot of rumors surrouding Durant, there are even some rumors if him going to the Lakers in a trade with AD. But still, he seems to be enjoying his Nets stint without Kyrie at the side.
3095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 14, 2022, 09:53:39 PM
What a pathetic mess that interaction between Jake Paul and the Fury family at Tommy’s fight. I can’t believe they let that happen and were actually giving Jake Paul a microphone. It seems like Jake Paul has started disrespecting the sport that made him worth a great deal of money. This might be the beginning of the end for his boxing career as he seems like he focusing on being a showman more than a boxer.

He has been a showman even before him entering the "boxing", both brothers are youtube sensation and that's how they make money. And when they get involved in this exhibition matches, they went a notch higher, fighting Floyd putting pranks on him at presscon. Not sure if this incident will stop them, maybe if they will get knock out by someone cold in the canvass, but if they continue to make money for their opponent and rigged the results in their future. sad to say but they could be in the business in the next couple of years.

3. ANN thread as still there, doesn't matter if they go to page 2, you can go and search for them if you are a looking for some update on the site

And this topic has been discussed many times here in the community, but with the growth of crypto base casinos, thee will be gamblers here that are going to post such topics and threads.
3097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The History of Baccarat on: November 14, 2022, 01:21:21 PM
I think it's a good thing that threads like this one keep appearing on this forum. Knowing the history of the game is irrelevant to your chances of winning, but it surely makes your gambling experience better overall. You can learn something new while googling on the topic. Like, for example, I learned today that Baccarat is more popular than Roulette by a wide margin in Casinos of Nevada:

Ok, I think for me Baccarat is really popular as majority of casino's that I went in our play, there are a lot of tables being played, from as low as $10 to $20, from $1k and higher for big bettors and whales.

Had a good run last Saturday, was losing in the slot games and then I decided to play baccarat.

I didn't sit to, as casino's here allowed standing bettors. So I just ride with player who bet big and in just half hour or less, was able to recover what I've lost in slot and win some.
3098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's see decentralisation for what it actually stands for on: November 14, 2022, 12:05:09 PM
For this space to grow we need to remove all atom of Centralised behaviour, including idolizing people, no one should have an influence in price/Value of a product/asset  except the community.
The space will grow more if we get to this level.

I think it's the other way around, in the beginning, we are all thinking about decentralization and (pseudo) anonymity. But that was pre 2017, because after that, government regulation comes into place, altcoin after altcoin before born that no longer put decentralization as the priority. Even Ethereum right now when they moved from POW-POS became so centralized now. I'm afraid that we might not achieved that "atom of centralized" behavior in this time. But I don't think it will be a big hindrance for us to grow.
3099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC will make it, but might be a long winter-Elon musk on: November 14, 2022, 11:46:32 AM
BTC will make it, but might be a long winter."

Today Elon musk tweet this.  What is the real meaning of this? i can not figure the exact meaning of this. can anybody explain?

Nothing new though, in 2018 we have this kind of sentiments as well, very negative the price of bitcoin started to decline March and onwards. And then we have the Covid-19 scare in 2020, hitting all time low that time around $3k.

So if we have seen it before, then I would say that we shouldn't be scared or surprised because it will be a long bear market, January to December of 2023, and then early part of 2024, prior to the halving. So around 16 months of this bearish sentiments. So it's just a question on how newbies are going to cope with that kind of crypto winter as this is their first obviously. For battle tested investor, could be another hump but they know how to get over.
3100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Markets pumped quick after CZ said this, but don't FOMO yet! on: November 14, 2022, 11:25:40 AM
I'm not seeing a pump though, although we might consider the price going like $15,9xx-$16,7xx again. Because it went low as that price in the last 8 hours and then suddenly get a good bounce.

Nevertheless, we will have see about this so called "industry recovery fund". If that is the case then maybe we will be like as centralized as the banking system and then CZ has so much control more than ever.

Will it do good for the market in the long run?
