Hi there !

Well ... it's time for me to face reality. I struggle more and more every week to make my posts and it is not good. The local board where I come from is less and less active (so am i  Grin).

I am leaving this campaign to leave a slot for someone more motivated Smiley

Thank you Hhampuz for your high quality management!

See you!

Also ich empfehle den Thread auf die Watchliste zu setzen Cool

Danke werde ich im Auge behalten, da muss man 20 Posts machen und lokale sind auch erlaubt und läuft schon etwas länger, was will man mehr.

~

Kann ich voll und ganz verstehen, ich schaffe es auch nicht jede Woche meine 15 englischen Posts zu machen und das stresst dann auch öfters.

There is still a huge fight between PSV and AZ for the second position in the table. AZ won their match against Sittard 1-0 yesterday and started waiting for the result of Willem II - PSV match. Willem II are giving battle for staying in the league but I don't think they can resist to PSV in this.

The fight for second place remains exciting. AZ and PSV make their points and 2 games are still to be played, AZ must hope that PSV has collapsed and does not win both games and AZ must win the last two games.

And 10/10 for Mercedes strategy again

Yep, Mercedes strategy was great and flawlessly executed. On the other hand it was ugly what they did to Bottas and I think that they wanted to prove a point for some internal dispute. Maybe it's indeed his last year at Mercedes.
I'm sorry for Max, he did pretty well and the early overtaking was a great move. Unfortunately the team didn't think farther than that.

I can't say about Leclerc that it's better than Max or not, but I can tell that after the fiasco cars from last year(s), now the Ferraris are surprisingly good.
Sergio had a good race, but he has to become soon a constant threat for Mercedes, else the team results will not get to look better than this one.
Sainz does good and still improving, I'm happy for him, despite the fact he runs now for Ferrari  Smiley
McLaren was disappointing this week-end.

Alpha Tauri, Alpine and Aston Martin had big words at the start of the year, but they are all more than disappointing. The fight for 3rd place on the podium seems to take place only between Ferrari and McLaren.

Ferrari is a lot better than last year, but it seems as if the one or the other horsepower is missing from the engine to be at the forefront. Ferrari has definitely taken a step, but it's still a little too little for a podium or a win.

I would have never thought that zverev could beat nadal and thiem and move into the final thank god i did not place any bets for those to matches because i would have lost both. Now he is the favorite against berrettini because he managed to beat nadal and thiem but i am in doubt again if zverev is living up to the role of being favourite in the final. The match is pretty open so far in the first set and in the moment it looks like the set will be decided in the tiebreak.
Well he live up for being the favorite as he gave up the first set to Berrettini and then took over the next two games. So yeah, he had beaten the best in this tournament leading up to him winning.

Now he has the potential to go to French Open as second favorite behind Nadal because of the strengths of his showing in Madrid. Of course Nadal will be the favorite, but at least Zverev's name will be in the discussion for the Grand Slam now and trim Nadal's odd.

Zverev played a very good tournament and is now fit for the French Open, Nadal is definitely the favorite again in Paris, but Thiem and Zverev can also play very well there. Berrettini also played well but it was a little too little against Zverev.

I hope Verstappen has a good start today and can challenge Hamilton throughout the race. Will be difficult to beat for Verstappen, Hamilton and Mercedes. But it could. be possible today.

Hamilton with Mercedes have a big advantage...

Weak game by Arsenal, you have to give more at home if you want to advance to the final. Interesting final with Manchester and Villareal, but I think Manchester will win the final.

^And Nadal is out in another straight 2:0 loss. he is definitely not in his best shape on clay this season. Did not see the match but this result is very surprising. Best thing about this result is that bookies have put Zverev as favorite against Thiem. I am taking Thiem win for high stake immediately before the odds drop. H2H is 8:2 for Thiem and clay is his best surface.

Getting ready to watch evening part of the program now, I have bet on Ruud to win 2:0 since he was great yesterday. Not sure about Beretini match, I went with over 21.5 games but that was just for fun.

Yeah, Zverev pulled the biggest upset so far, it ruined my parlay as it started on Nadal winning 2:0.

I think Zverev becoming the favorite against Thiem is due to his performance today. And this is good though, we can put a beat on Thiem with that attractive odds.

Good call on the Berrettini match, it was over 21.5 so a win for you. I have Berrettini 2:1 with good odds as well, so still a win for us.

@Joca97 - I have Ruud and Berettini as outright bet to win this tournament @11.x a piece, I do hope that you are correct that an underdog can win this tournament.

Zverev is playing in top form at this tournament, Nadal clearly beaten and then Thiem too, if I hadn't thought that Nadal was the clear favorite for me. But respect for Zverev, played very well and think he will win the final too.

Russell is definitely a big up and coming name, he has been racing incredibly well so far. Last year he had just one race where he could show what he could do but obviously he was way too scared of the management so when he was asked to do something he did that and he was scared when racing as well so he didn't do as well as hoped.

However given enough time and experience that dude could become much much more than bottas ever was.

Not only so far.
He is the most wanted from Mercedes for 2 years now.

he won the f3 title in his 1st year, the f2 title in his 1st year...

Mercedes wanted him the last year over Bottas but Williams said no since they needed to keep the appeal for selling the team...

Next year he will race with Hamilton, mark my words.

I also think that Russell will drive for Mercedes next year, he is definitely the future for the Mercedes team, just wait and see how long Hamilton will drive and how strong the car is after the rule changes. For me it will also be interesting how "greedy" Hamilton is in the contract negotiations and whether Mercedes wants to overpay that.

Rublev,Tsitsipas and Medvedev lost today

Some big names lost already in the early part of the tournament witch makes Nadals chances a lot bigger now to win Madrid easily

For me also a surprise that Rublev lost, I'm also curious how Thiem is doing with Isner. So far, Thiem has won his games confidently after the break. The match between Zverev and Nadal will certainly be interesting, but assume that Nadal will win the match in 3 sets.

Matches today.

Big step for Chelsea to the final Manchester, so Real now has to step on the gas to prevent a pure English final. With another goal from Chelsea, it will be very difficult for Real to actually win.

Very good race from Ducati, also a great race from Morbidelli, but what the hell happened with Quartararo overusing the tires or a other problem?
After qualifying I thought Yamaha's domination would continue, but I was wrong. Ducati looked great at the time.

Regarding Fabio Quartararo, he must be willing to finish in 13th place because his arm hurts. He endured pain until the race ended, it's great he dared to take risks to race. You can see her status on twitter: https://twitter.com/FabioQ20/status/1388888315856830473?s=20

I was also amazed, perfect work from Ducati. At first I thought Fabio's tires had deteriorated a lot, but he was in pain and had already had an operation. I hope he will be fit again for the next race.

Thiem will play the come back at Madrid to be fit for the French open, I'm curious whether he could recover well after the last low and the injury. I hope he find his way back to his old strength.

https://www.madrid-open.com/en/players/

But I can't find his name on the game board?

i would try to stay away from betting on him to win, at least for now in Madrid, i've seen a lot of player who comeback from an injury or a longtime rest get eliminated on the first rounds, i think avoiding him would be the best, and why not bet on his opponents.
At least he won his first match after coming back from injury, it could be a good sign for him, even more Clay is court which suits him.

In the women's section the match between A. Barty vs P. Kvitova, Barty is very good at Clay, and she is favored to win this match by bookie.

He win his first match after the injury superior, i hope he can keep his actually shape. Tomorrow it's against Minaur, I don't know this player and there is no real data to be found about him.

3099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: May 04, 2021, 08:29:41 PM
City scored 1 goal.
For PSG is not a big deal they still need 2 goals to get something from the game.

Di Maria missed an easy goal for a player with his left foot.

It seems like Manchester will play this home safely and leave PSG no chance to turn the game around and win. Manchester are very well adjusted and will be promoted so much. Will it be so far this year that Manchester City will not only make it to the first final time in history, but will also win it?
