3101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: December 05, 2019, 09:40:58 PM
Few of my colleagues told me they quit bounty because many new projects are finding it very difficult to reach soft cap and those who manages to reach softcap ends up listing on ridiculous exchanges because of listing fee, a part of me feels like they are right because if a new project fails to aim for top exchange its game over,  the question now is why promoting new projects then?
Surely a lot of bounty noe a days are just a scam or dont even reach soft cap i think a lot of investors already lost interest in this kind of investment since a lot of ICO end up to be a scam but most of the time the token will not going to have any value in the market and the worst is the token doesnt even make it in the market.
So i think it is a right thing to do consodering this things.
3102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream for bitcoin on: December 05, 2019, 09:24:01 PM
I think making bitcoin as a only world currency is impossible but i think making it a currency that work all over the world could easily work.
Bitcoin cannot replace fiat money in my opinion because fiat money was regulated by the government thats why it has a certain value all over the world, in the situation of bitcoin it was really a hard time since it has a very high market value in the market and the government will not going to use this currency that has a anonymous transaction in the internet.
3103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: December 05, 2019, 09:11:27 PM
Why it is very important to always have control when gambling and its the number one we should have
  • Many people gamble without thinking and spend all his/her money remember that you spend hours earning that money for your family and also for yourself but our responsibility is bigger
than anything else, because there are times that we for about this things, and forget that we have a family to feed for me its okay to spend some money for gambling but there are rules you
need to control your emotions because i saw people who spend all their money while their children have nothing to eat, bills not settle and at the end of the day they spend their times in the
streets ending is the commit crimes children don't go to school i hope everyone will remember this and be able to help everyone here , what im saying is its okay to gamble but don't compromise
    your families
Getting addicted in gambling could surely make you lose all of your money and it is important to be dicipline especially in gambling because it is very risky for a lot of people. It is very risky to invest all of your money in gambling sharing this in your family could be a good thing since you could all have a great profit in gambling but spending all of the money of your family is not a great idea at all.
3104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: December 05, 2019, 08:58:26 PM
Their might some few tricks and method that would work but theoritically it was pure luck winning in gambling and i think methods and tricks also might not work all the time,
The code of the system in winning the game was random also it could easily be cheated by a few line of codes, but most of the time bigger the bet the most chance of lossing the bet.
3105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone [JAN 2020] Discussion on: December 05, 2019, 01:54:31 PM
The fight was a welterweight, I think Conor has a really strong start at all of his matches but pretty much making the match longer surely will result in Conor will lose.
This two have a history in the past, most of the time outcome will result to Connor McGregor will win, but Conor McGregor got injured in the past years and Conor only fight 1 in the past 3 years and i think it is a very big disadvantage to him even I don't think that Conor McGregor cannot condition himself for this fight. Cerrone doesn't punch long Conor just need to land a left hand to him.
3106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done to experiment to determine percentage of winning? on: December 05, 2019, 01:27:56 PM
Is there anyone here who tried to experiment in online gambling sites with a pen and paper?

Here's the idea, to determine the percentage of winning, I always think of doing an experiment where I would bet in an online gambling site then each bet will be written to the paper. A total of 10 bets per day in a 1-week duration and each bet will be written and will be recorded depending if the bet is winning or losing. Then conduct an analysis of the percentage of winnings to determine if there are some tricks we could find with these experiments in different gambling sites.

If there is someone who already does this, could you please share the outcome? At what Bet you usually win? and what platform could that technique be applicable?
Using this method you will lose a big amount of your money in this experiment and it is not worth it since you were only having 10 bets,
I'm an IT student and algorithms and codes in a game like this could easily be altered or change also could easily be cheated.
Making or using this method could not have the precise answer , the analysis is not going to be accurate at all since winning could be random at all.

3109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are the world’s governments not using cryptocurrencies? on: December 04, 2019, 06:15:27 PM
I’ve recently learned the many advantages of cryptocurrencies and how they can revolutionize the way we use money around the world, so why are the world’s governments not adopting them to be used as a form of currency?

There are many advantages of cryptocurrencies that surpass fiat currencies that we used on a day to day basis such as better security due to blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies not really being affected by global financial events as it is a decentralized currency

Why are the governments not adopting cryptocurrencies? Is it a world-wide conspiracy by the elite in order to keep in power? Or is it that the people in charge are rather ignorant of the advantages of cryptocurrencies in order to keep the current system of power?

It is not easy to implement also cryptocurrency and bitcoin is not yet completely implemented as a currency in a lot of countries,
A lot of people will surely be going to use fiat money since it is more reliable than cryptocurrency or bitcoin for sure.
A lot of countries is still not ready for this kind of technology and need a lot of time to adjust to implement this kind of technology.

3110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: December 04, 2019, 06:00:09 PM
Over 850 millions of people use alipay as means of payment mostly in china and i heard lots about wepay as well, i come to think of it that what if bitcoin was been used in their places instead? if alipay and wepay can get to where they are today then altcoins have all the chances of survival as well. Wepay and Alipay are just online payment solution, crypto can do better.

Real use cases plus real life working products, let these two be your main focus when picking altcoins to invest your money on, do not listen to those saying 'dump altcoins for bitcoin' when you are holding solid altcoins
I think bitcoin could survive on its own even if no other tokens are in the market bitcoin is still what it is today,
All of the altcoins in the market are just a copy of bitcoin and they wanted to replicate the success of bitcoin since in the past years it has a successful technology.
But still it is a unique algorithm and even if they create a token like bitcoin, bitcoin was still the first in this kind of digital currency and already established its market price.
3111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: December 04, 2019, 05:27:53 PM
I think the fact that it is a bitcoin and ethereum is already a good investment for you in my opinion,
unlike investing it in an ICO that would probably end up being a scam or maybe go for years and only have a few profit for sure, the worse it the token you invested to don't even make it in the market because most of the ICO today end up like this, not even reaching the soft cap of the project.
Besides you could convert that money and just invest it in a small business or a passive income it will be more profitable.
3112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that governments might one day ban Cryptos? on: December 03, 2019, 10:09:47 AM
Considering that the governments such as China have already tried to ban Cryptos. Would more governments do the same because Cryptos threaten the banks or the governments may want more control over what people use as currency and to remove all alternatives? What do you guys think, I personally think it won’t happen, but you might think otherwise.

I think the government can ban bitcoin but it is not going to be easy in a lot of ways because it is like the internet cannot be banned completely,
they could only banned a lot of users to use it in their country but not they cannot take down bitcoin.
Also, bitcoin was not yet a threat in fiat money, fiat money, in my opinion, was already established and bitcoin is decentralized I cannot imagine a currency that is decentralized in a country it will not going to work it is better if bitcoin stays what it is today in my opinion.
3113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Just a thought about bounties and bounty managers on: December 03, 2019, 06:11:01 AM
I heard that what most bounty managers do is to conduct the bounty project and later submit to projects teams for distribution, is this not why some projects never paid bounty hunters?

+The job of a bounty manager should be the guide standing between bounty hunters and project teams
+ Bounty managers should be the ones to hold on to the project tokens and distribute after bounty ends

Avoid these and teams might decide not to pay or send out half payments to half of the hunters, it should be more like how IEO is where exchange stands between investors and team
Sometimes the bounty managers to a good job handling the bounty campaign but end up as the owner itself do not pay the bounty managers and the bounty hunters,
The owner itself is the one who will be going to pay the bounty hunters the managers will just be sent the list of the eligible bounty hunters that will received the reward,
But still depends on the agreement of the bounty manager and the owner of the campaign itself.
3114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy 1 bitcoin on: December 02, 2019, 12:03:13 PM
So I own $1000 in bitcoin but I want to invest the remaining amount to accumulate a whole bitcoin.  The prices fluctuates every second so how can I do this on coinbase?  I believe this is called a market buy order and I've looked at the steps on how to do this but I think they're outdated or wrong.
Find a good bitcoin wallet where you could store your bitcoin most of the time the bitcoin wallet you use already have a market or an exchanger that you could buy bitcoin.
Like for example coinbase.com just create an account in the websites or in the mobile application and then convert your money to buy bitcoin directly in the application,
you could easily use your card to have a direct payment in coinbase to buy bitcoin in the website it will be a huge price since 1 bitcoin was a 7k$ in the market.

3116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enforcing government regulations on: December 02, 2019, 08:03:07 AM
Governments can issue regulations as they please. No doubt about it.
The promise of Bitcoin was to leave governments unable to enforce any kind of regulations using technology and decentralization.
The problem with that promise is that it is enormously expensive for consumers to run Bitcoin nodes. Therefore everyone uses third parties, there's not that many of them and there's absolutely no way for them to stay resistent to regulations.

So as I see it, there was a time when governments couldn't enforce their regulations to decentralized currency. Now they can.

What do you think? Is the Bitcoin promise broken?
I think the government have ways to regulate cryptocurrency and bitcoin but it is not going to be easy, making a move in the market could easily affect differently the economy of the country.
I think bitcoin cannot be regulated in a country as a currency, to be an implemented currency in one country just like fiat money we need to regulate the currency itself to control the price of the money,
it is different in bitcoin because it depends on its market price in the supply and demand of the users and we cannot implement a currency that is over a thousand market value. It is better just for the bitcoin to be a secondary currency all over the world that we could use as a currency and also as an investment.

3118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: December 01, 2019, 03:04:33 PM
Now, I think the last 1 year is not good for the BTC hodlers. So, I just ask Gift of Santa Claus this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers?
If Santa is also a bitcoin or knows something in cryptocurrency,
Maybe an airdrop would be a good Christmas Gift for everyone, or maybe we could wish for the bitcoin price to pump in the market.
It will be a different Christmas since the bitcoin was on the low price in this coming December but I hope it goes down more so that we could reinvest at a good price in the market.
3119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: November 29, 2019, 09:20:41 AM
Almost every day a new person comes up with the claim that he/she is the real Satoshi. The real satoshi surely does not want any kind of fame. If he/she/they want fame he could have disclosed his identity earlier. But what could be the possible reason that Satoshi still hides his identity? Does he have a big plan for the future?
I don't think Satoshi predicted that his work or bitcoin is going to be the future we don't really know if he is still alive,
If Satoshi predicted this we know that bitcoin was a big amount of money and as a maker of bitcoin he should be at least be able to crack the bitcoin,
I think Satoshi hiding his identity was better because bitcoin was already a big deal in a lot of countries and having someone owning it or having someone that has a big percentage of bitcoin could affect the bitcoin so much.
3120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You think terrorist groups around the world use Cryptos as a means of payment? on: November 29, 2019, 08:19:22 AM
Considering that there are still many terrorist groups or insurgents groups around the world right now fighting with weapons that probably cost a lot. Do you guys think that they use cryptocurrencies in order to fund their armies or do they stick with trading with cash or trading valuable resources that they have?

I would not be surprised if they do trade with cryptocurrency considering that cryptocurrencies are really hard to trace compared to the conventional means of trading such as cash or valuable resources. Unless their funders don’t really accept cryptocurrency and they stick with the older methods of payment.

By the way, just to make it clear. I am not in any way planning to make a terrorist group or insurgency, I am just asking out of curiosity as I can see that those terrorist groups or insurgencies in the news must get their funding from somewhere and I was wondering what means do they use to trade for their equipment.

Bitcoin was used in deep web as a currency in buying illegal things like drugs and guns, also if you are going to think about it,
it really does make sense since the bitcoin has anonymous transaction there is no way that the government could track your identity if you have a transaction in bitcoin and also where ever you are in the world you could use think bitcoin and easily make a transaction using it. I think this is a thing that the terrorist is taking advantage of, having this technology making it easy for them just like a terrorist group could do.
