After this point, all the blocks generated by the old client will be rejected, there's apparently a chain of 200 blocks or so that have been rejected, so it will stuck at this point for a while, until it find the new chain, where the old chain will become orphans. johntawaki, could you possibly just upload a copy of the blockchain to get us past this problem? if you are not sure what to do to fix the client, might i suggest contacting muddafudda. he's really good at working out these kinds of problems.

And it wont go past "blocks" : 6084, !!!
After following the above steps, I'm hanging on block 6084 as well. ok, i got stuck at block 5500. closing and reopening the wallet got it to 6084 and now i'm stranded here as well. could it be that i need to have the addnodes in the conf file? i'm not mining FWIW, but i did buy 930 phs yesterday for 6 LTC, and i will be pissed if this doesn't get resolved.

sorry some people have issues. I don't have any problems to sync my wallets. It seems that some people still use the old client thus may created a forked chain.
If you have sync problems, please do this: 1. Make sure you use the Version 1.2 client, or compile from the latest source code in the github. 2. In the config dir, delete all file except wallet and philosopherstone config file, you can leave the peers.dat if you want, then restart the client, it will sync from the scratch, and it should work. ** Please make sure you do not delete wallet.dat file **
No need to patch wallet files etc, it should not have problems. The worst you can see are some orphaned blocks which should be OK.
Also please note that the sync can be slow sometimes, because of the generations and sync of the PoS blocks. A lot PoS blocks are generated as we are entering the PoS generation period...
i'm hanging on block 5500 of 6084

kinda to late to hit the backspace button now. you're not very good at conveying your ideas to others. other than that your premine names are not very catchy. why did you waste your time making this post anyway?

I have read bad things about this user. I would highly recommend escrow.
so have i, but i've seen little evidence to back it up. then again, i'm an accused scammer my self so take my word with a grain of salt.

Well quark going down hard.
Down quark From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The down quark or d quark (symbol: d) is the second-lightest of all quarks, a type of elementary particle, and a major constituent of matter. Together with the up quark, it forms the neutrons (one up quark, two down quarks) and protons (two up quarks, one down quark) of atomic nuclei. wow, i actually learned something in the alt section. cool!

Hello , thought i could register here since i'm using this forum quite a lot and didn't thought of registering and posting something yet. Found quite a lot of useful information to start mining business. Currently on LTC , aiming for some ASIC's as well.
Happy mining!
Welcome, I moved from GPU to USB block errupter. No heat anymore, especially helps in summer ! you must only have one of them then, because i got 4 of them and the little buggers get pretty damn hot. when i set down at my computer desk i can feel the heat coming off of them.

I realize this thread is probably getting borderline out of hand...but here is another idea (once something pops in my head I have to follow through): ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2F52f6233e603b1587512e-7b5a933a14408ad1f95b287658312570.r88.cf1.rackcdn.com%2Fimages%2Fscratchpad%2Fcgb_logo_c.png&t=663&c=RrfOYfBRvbIpFw) i like bholzer, that is very clean. you've submitted some great designs so far!! Appreciate it. I've always enjoyed art...but my career path led to almost exclusively development/programming work and I miss the design/creative aspects of things from when I was younger. Every once in a while I'm just burned out on writing code and it's refreshing to jump in on projects like this -- makes me feel like less of a robot! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fencrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com%2Fimages%3Fq%3Dtbn%3AANd9GcRgxTEPQbfaSuf5Y42R0ZDhE4VU3Qunx5scQ-WG_Hmj2lmW7yc8b2RAUl55&t=663&c=2b8svv0L8VJYFQ)

Why homosexuals would be more likely to rape little boys than heterosexuals raping little girls?
Call me crazy but there's no club called man girl love association but there is a 1 million strong man boy love association club which is getting serious funds and is growing very fast. Why? If I had to guess I'd say that heterosexual males see perverts while homosexual makes tend to be sickos. I mean, you're walking around with shit on your dick all day, right, your ass is torn and bleeding and you're one ass pounding away from sizing up to a size 12 ass-cork before your shit falls out - that's pretty sick the way I see it compared to heterosexual men. who the hell even things about that shit? i couldn't give a more of a shit what a homosexual does in the privacy of his own home. long as a gay person respects me i'll respect them right back, cause that's what Jesus would do.
