The height on my local bitcoin database is 579028 so I assume I am still catching up?
Yes, there should be multiple similar lines with increasing " height". How do I stop it? Run in the terminal: ./bitcoin-cli stopYou don't want to force-close bitcoind since it seems to be running in the background without a terminal window, the files in the data directory might get corrupted on improper shutdown.

I would prefer to transfer the files from the old wallet to the new one (seed and coins).
How can i safely do that in a imple way?
Go to the old computer's Electrum data directory ( location info) and open " wallets" folder. Copy your wallet file(s) in there, if you didn't changed the name, it would be " default_wallet" for the first wallet and " wallet_1" for the next. Find a way to transfer them to the new computer, eg. through a USB flash drive. Now go to your new computer and open the same electrum directory, if you don't have Electrum yet, launch in once and the directory should be created. Paste the wallet files in the new computer's electrum data directory wallets folder rename the existing wallets first if their names matched. Lastly, launch Electrum and use the menu " File->Open" and open the copied wallet files from the old computer. ( you can paste them anywhere and browse to the directory in 'open' menu but it's cleaner to paste them in the default location)

when i try to follow the 4 steps above if i create a new wallet simple it works, if i chose the two-factor authentication the 12 words does not allow me to restore the wallet ?
You mean the " Next" button isn't clickable? What it says in the " Seed Type:" when you paste the 12-word phrase? Note: If you paste a " standard seed" while chosen the option " Wallet with two-factor authentication->I already have a seed", it will not allow you to click 'Next'. I have a similar problem, i have the 12 words to restore my wallet but when i do my funds are not there and on my original wallet i cant transfer them because of google authentication.
And this supports that it may not be an Electrum 2FA seed phrase, may be for Standard or SegWit Electrum wallet.

Yes, I did receive funds in the old version of wallet. I could not update Electrum within my OSx and Electrum would get stuck when receiving. I did have a history. After restoring ( i was going to move the file but had issues and just did a restore) to win8, Electrum loaded fine with my seed info and I did a single send transaction that worked. It has been several months since I used Electrum and now I have what I explained in post of receives and change in a list that says its connected to server. No history and 0 balance.
I don't see where any of the addresses correspond with my pool payout, but I'm not sure how that works just yet.
Looks like a completely different wallet file, Electrum wont suddenly delete all of the history from the wallet. Having a different set of addresses based from the " missing payout address" supports this. Check the wallet directory ( loc) using the menu " Open" in Electrum if there are more than one wallet files there. You might also want to consider renaming the wallet file or new wallets into a specific name like " miningpayout_electrum1" to minimize confusion, it'll work just fine.

armory_nnnnnnnn_.SENT.tx
Okay, so that transaction was previously attempted to send to the network due to the 'SENT' in the name. Anyways, you can still load it the same way as loading a signed transaction as long as the contents are correct. it should look like this ( sample from RegTest, do not send): =====TXSIGCOLLECT-A18o4Vub====================================== AQAAAPq/tdoAAAAAAf1KAQEAAAD6v7XaUuSqnL4H/60mkZwkX0bK+lzGXN4/WIfy lS5JEAycAFkAAAAAiQIAAAABAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAD/////BQLuAAEB/////wIA+QKVAAAAABl2qRSaeagGpmxRpBHwRq3jAcH0TDdX LYisAAAAAAAAAAAmaiSqIant4vYcP3HR3v0/qZnfo2lTdVxpBol5mWK0i+vYNpdO jPkAAAAAAAAA/f///wFBBG5ESjXsiMapztTiRSZLK29j/nf2VZIOg5ZQteyu5ilF 8ngMFMsUNw63Ai9/6azxhswfWhdaE85QBWU2QMPHZ0tIMEUCIQDVB/guWpaec11W KIvB6OLJm30RVkMA9TgBPhdsN4UqMwIgATVQcYk8hpxTh/Ux5SP1RjRqEmJfjBm8 tSbytiY+u2YBAAI0AQAAAPq/tdoZdqkUBWpodCNcs3fR5VYrwA4l1f7hwoKIrNAG ApUAAAAAAAAETk9ORQAAADQBAAAA+r+12hl2qRTXni1+BSytzhAiNMwNP1X4Yrgl AYisECcAAAAAAAAAAAROT05FAAAAPQkAACAGTGVnYWN5MIoBAAAAPQkAABAAAAAA ATQAAf3///8GJFLkqpy+B/+tJpGcJF9GyvpcxlzeP1iH8pUuSRAMnABZAAAAAAD5 ApUAAAAAAiLQBgKVAAAAABl2qRQFamh0I1yzd9HlVivADiXV/uHCgoisIhAnAAAA AAAAGXapFNeeLX4FLK3OECI0zA0/VfhiuCUBiKw= ================================================================ If you don't want to wait for Armory, you can send it now to the network using any " push/broadcast service" by copying the RAW Transaction in HEX. You can get it by following my previous reply until " load file", but instead of broadcast, click the text in blue: " Click here for more information about this transaction", then " Copy Raw Tx (HEX)". That should be compatible with broadcast services like https://blockstream.info/tx/push. Lastly, Armory should be in " Advanced User" mode or higher for the buttons to appear.

You can add -prune=550 as an additional start parameter instead.
For the bitcoin config issue, is it located in the default directory? If not, try to put the entries in the default data directory's bitcoin.conf file whether you're using a custom datadir or not.

Alternatively ( aside from the reply above), you can send some testnet BTC here: https://starblocks.acinq.co/ and that should open up some reveiving capacity that you can see above the channels tab. For some reason it shows me the error below, while I have enough sending capacity: Now, that must be a pathing issue between your channel to the other Electrum wallet's channel, because not all of them are well-connected to the rest of the network or connected to a " super-node". Try opening a channel to the same nodeID on both Electrums, after establishing channels, restart Electrum and wait for a few seconds 'till " 95% +" connection to the lighting network. Then try to send a new lightning transaction between the two Electrums. Here's an example, sent from one testnet Electrum to another with channels connected to the same nodeID: In real-world usage, pathing will be less troublesome because there are way more channels in the Bitcoin than Testnet.

It should be possible to broadcast the transaction to the network from within armory. How is this done? -snip-
My previous reply is the workflow in Armory (GUI) if you want to broadcast a signed transaction, that's if the " file" that you've mentioned in the OP is an offline signed transaction, usually named as " armory_xxxxxxxx_.signed.tx". If it's a txt file with RAW TX in HEX, you can send it through any push/broadcast service or through Bitcoin core.

You don't need the extracted files, just paste the vanitysearch.exe to any folder of your choice and follow the instructions in the first post/first page post 1. Yes, I mean to copying file "vanitysearch.exe" to folder. sadly not working for me, https://prnt.sc/10vsgk4 What do you mean " not working"? It's in there the one you marked, if you're looking for the '.exe' extension, it's not displayed by default. You can display known extensions by changing Windows Explorer's settings: Click " View" and put a check in " File name extensions". By the way, you can delete all of the other files except vanitysearch.exe, you don't need them unless you're planning to compile it yourself.

Tried with download file VanitySearch.exe then make it one on Files on extracted still not working.

-snip-
I see, you've downloaded the source code and extracted it, not the .exe What you need to download is the executable file from the releases, name: VanitySearch.exe, link in the OP step 1.

How about notice command come? " is not recognized as an internal or external command, "
You got that error because the command entered isn't available, in your case, you're trying to run vanitysearch while there's no such executable in the directory used by the command prompt. You should start command prompt where vanitysearch.exe is located or specify the path by following step 4 in the OP. To be sure what caused the error, what is the exact command that you've entered?

If your Armory is now online, all you have to do is to click "Offline Transactions", "Sign and/or Broadcast Transaction", "Load File..." (load the signed transaction file), then "Broadcast", review the transaction's details displayed and lastly "Send".

I was thinking if its possible to run a website where everybody can leave a message/story on the blockchain.
It is possible but I wouldn't advice it since it adds unnecessary bloat to the blockchain aside from the limitations explained above. In addition to that, here's a reply from stackexhange about OP_RETURN: Maximum size of data Bitcoin OP_RETURN tx can handle?

On the first wallet I open a channel with a LN node depositing 5mTBTC. On the second wallet I open a channel with the same LN node depositing again, 5mTBTC. I generate a LN invoice from the first wallet and enter it on the address' input field of the second wallet. I enter 2mTBTC and I click "Pay". This is what I get:
Alternatively ( aside from the reply above), you can send some testnet BTC here: https://starblocks.acinq.co/ and that should open up some reveiving capacity that you can see above the channels tab. On the upper-left hand side, it says: Can send 0.00XX BTC; can receive 0.00XX BTC and it's self explanatory.

This reply is based from Bitcoin Core since you're in the Bitcoin forum: Just like bitcoin core, the RPC commands should be entered in bitcoin-cli not in bitcoind, so in your case if there's no "daemon" folder, you should find the folder containing "Zenon-cli" and "Zenond" files. Then change the script to use Zenon-cli intead of Zenond; but before running it, run Zenond in the background.
Of course, it's best to ask a Zenon Network expert, moving this to Altcoin Discussion is recommended ("move topic" button on lower-left side of the page).

You can click "mark all messages as read" on the left hand side of the page, that will remove the whole page of updated topics but the threads will re-appear once they received new replies. I think the only way to remove a specific topic from "Updated Topics" (Show new replies to your posts) is to remove your post(s) from those threads.

one of my really old drives fell to the floor i am not sure if it broke as it works fine with just a raw read error but recuva found 100 000 files in including bitcoin files and a wallet.dat file so i recovered it but electrum can't open it which means it is likely corrupted but i tried to open it here and got both private keys and a private adresses https://privatekeys.pw/wallet-parser/bitcoin/so to be sure if the file was corrupted it wouldn't actually show these? as i don't want to lose sleep over this. It worked in that site so the file shouldn't be corrupted, you'll get an " error parsing wallet" message or similar if it's corrupted. I advice you to send the balance in case there's any or you may lose your funds ( even the site has that warning). Problem is you've opened it in Electrum which wallet file format has no extension, just create a copy of the original wallet.dat ( not the one opened by Electrum) and open that copy in Bitcoin core.

so yeah I have a machine that WAS online and is up to date with the blockchain and my bitcoin-qt wallet, -snip- my goal is to extract these coins into electrum without ever going online.
You should consider setting up a cold-storage Electrum ( link above) so you won't have to keep your wallet in an online machine. For the keys, you can export them from Bitcoin Core without going online, do what I've said in my previous reply but in the offline device. Bitcoin Core's P2SH addresses are actually P2SH-SegWit unlike Armory's P2SH-P2PK, Electrum supports them, just add p2wpkh-p2sh: before the private key, importing it to an offline Electrum wont allow you to spend and wont have an updated balance. If you decided to create a Cold Storage set-up, you can " sweep" the key(s) ( Wallet->Private keys->Sweep) to the online watch-only Electrum that's paired to the offline Electrum. That will create a transaction that spends its entire balance to one of the wallet's address. You can spend from it by following the last few info of the " cold storage" tutorial link: create-an-unsigned-transaction, except the latest version's save is named " export".

Yeah, I've been sending some lightning satoshi to the site since September last year for testing purposes (to try if my channel is the problem when I'm failing to send LN funds) How many of your Lightning Network payments fail to reach the intended receivers percentage wise? Do you consider it to be a cause of worry personally? I'd say it's about 90% reliable in my experience, high because the other end of my channel is connected to what they call " Hub", aka a well-connected lightning node. Most of those failures are from instant exchanger from time to time, specifically Fixedfloat, but I think it's their channels' capacity since they usually 'fix' it after a while. In jochen's mempool stat and some users of custodial lightning wallets, I haven't experienced any payment failures.
