3101  Other / Off-topic / Destroying Prostate Cancer Tumors with Gold Nanoparticles on: December 18, 2022, 05:24:57 PM
This idea has been around for some time. But it is finally working. And it might soon be applied to cancers other than prostate cancer.

Destroying Prostate Cancer Tumors with Gold Nanoparticles

When Frank Billingsley announced he had prostate cancer, the outpouring of sympathy was overwhelming. But one email among the mass of messages the chief meteorologist at KPRC-TV in Houston received stood out.

"I got this email from David Jorden's wife, Melanie," Billingsley said. "David Jorden is the CEO of Nanospectra," a Houston-based company conducting a clinical trial of a nanoparticle-based cancer treatment developed at Rice University.

Billingsley had never heard of the treatment developed in the same city where he's been a popular television personality for almost three decades. His reaction: "Wow, this is really out there, but I would like to at least know about it."

Maybe it seemed "out there" to Billingsley, but it's long been a quest of Rice University engineer and nanoscientist Naomi Halas — to develop a treatment that destroys tumors without the debilitating side effects of chemotherapy, invasive surgery and radiation.

In November 2018, Billingsley received a nanoparticle infusion and underwent a laser ablation procedure the next day as part of a clinical trial at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. An MRI the next week showed no signs of cancer.

"The nanoparticles are special in that you can design a nanoparticle to absorb light at wavelengths that pass directly through the body," Halas said. "So if the particles are placed in a tumor site, you can irradiate them with light that penetrates through the body. And the nanoparticles will absorb the light, convert the light to heat and very gently they will induce hyperthermia and destroy just the tumor cells."

Turns out Katie Hobbs didn't show up at court today as she was ordered by the judge. This was to work out the next step in Kari Lake's lawsuit against the Arizona election process. Hobbs was ordered by the judge, but being one of the defendants, she would not be required to personally be there if her attorney appeared in her place... which he did.

Seems like Hobbs is required to file a motion to dismiss by Thursday, if she wants, and Lake must have a response to the motion by Saturday. If the Hobbs motion to dismiss is not granted, the trial would be the following week.

Here's a video with some of the details... start at 16:30 of the video.

I'll give you 100 to 1 odds on a gentleman's bet.
To wit.....
If the court turns over the peoples choice and makes moron pretty pixie face Kari Kraken Lake the winner, I'm an idiot 100 times over.
If Katie Hobbs is sworn in Jan 2nd, because of course she will be, you are an idiot just 1 time  (even though you are an idiot 1000 times over)

Talk about idiots, you can't even say BAHHAHAHAHAHAHA correctly.

Be that as it may, here are more details about the hearing. It's about truth and honesty in election politics, not about who wins or loses. And the judge knows it.

Judge Delivers Massive Legal Victory for Kari Lake

When the midterm races were called, Democrat Secretary of State Katie Hobbs was proclaimed to have defeated Republican challenger Kari Lake by just over 17,000 votes in the Nov. 8 election. Lake did not skip a beat objecting to the result, as the election day and days after were marred by malfunctions and holdups that could have skewed the tabulations.

Lake filed a lawsuit naming her objections in an effort to show she had the votes to win, and also the lack of integrity in the Arizona voting system.

Lake's attorneys argued in her lawsuit filed last week that the widespread ballot printer and tabulator issues on Election Day affecting 131 polling locations (59 percent of the total) suppressed the candidate's vote totals. And, as the nation watched online, hours-long lines developed due to malfunctions at multiple locations throughout Maricopa County.

Lake's team clearly wants to get a better sense of what exactly caused so many machines to, essentially, simultaneously go down on Election Day, and seek to determine whether negligence or malfeasance was involved. Maricopa County has said that 71 sites were impacted, which is roughly one-third of all the sites. The county also said a setting on the ballot printers in question caused the ballot tabulators to not be able to read the ballots, Western Journal reports.

As Lake's arguments were heard in court, testimony was given as to the details of the malfunctions, holdups, and redirecting of citizens to alternate voting areas.

...

And now, Lake’s lawsuit will have even more data with which to make their case against the flawed voting system in the state. Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake won a legal victory Friday when the judge overseeing her legal challenge of November’s election granted her team access to review ballots cast.

...

EDIT: Note that SCOTUS is watching this case. Even if Kari Lake doesn't win, there will be enough evidence brought that SCOTUS will be encouraged to make a more investigation directed examination of the 2020 election with regard to the Brunson lawsuit they have before them.

this is the news that made me think about whether "killer robots" will be the police in the future,, and can the police who use this be able to guarantee that the use of "killer robots" will minimize the potential for victims of misdirected targets to occur, robots are still developing, I am pessimistic that this will be the best solution in society!

Maybe we should make killer robot that only kill off killer robots that kill people.

I would kinda like a world full of peaceful robots... robots that could do every task around for free, including fix themselves/each-other as they wear out.

Everybody could go on welfare, and collect enough to have all the fun, and world travel as he wanted. We could even have Ukraine robots battling it out with Russian robots... for all those folks who enjoy wars.

Wouldn't that be a wonderful life?

3107  Other / Politics & Society / Government says inflation is “under control” after produce prices jumped 38%... on: December 17, 2022, 10:30:07 PM
But inflation is really only about 8%. Biden said so, lol. And he is right. There are a whole bunch of products out there that nobody wants. And these products have come down in price so much that when you average it out, it's only an 8% increase over-all, lol.

Government says inflation is “under control” after produce prices jumped 38% in November (and 80% year over year)

Everything is just fine on the inflation front, we are now being told, even as the price of vegetables and other produce has increased by another 38 percent, according to the latest government data.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that in the month of November alone, prices on fresh farm goods increased by 38.1 percent compared to October. Over the past 12 months, vegetables are up a whopping 80.6 percent.

The situation is even worse for eggs, which are up an astounding 244 percent compared to 12 months ago. The cause, we are told, is “bird flu” – are you starting to see that their go-to excuse is always some mystery “disease” floating around the air?

Avian flu, the story goes, is responsible for the deaths of millions of chickens and turkeys across the United States. And many more millions, we are told, will probably die in the coming months – how convenient.

As for fresh produce, drought conditions in the western half of the country are supposedly responsible for those price increases. The results of one recent survey suggest that 74 percent of farmers in 15 western states “saw a reduction in harvests” in 2022.

The Fed is “almost out of ammunition,” meaning a full-fledged collapse is almost here

No matter how many nominal interest-rate hikes are imposed by the Federal Reserve, food prices appear to be pointed straight towards the moon. And you can expect all sorts of new excuses to emerge to explain away the financial corruption that is really the cause behind all this carnage.

We are told that domestic supplies of staple crops like corn, soybeans, and wheat are expected to “remain snug” into 2023. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is forecasting that corn supplies will drop to a decade low before the 2023 harvest, while soybean stocks have hit a seven-year low.

Twitter Files prove FBI lied to Big Tech to steal elections

A whole lot is coming to light via the Twitter Files, including mountains of evidence implicating the social media platform for things like censorship, blacklisting, and child pornography. You can also add election meddling by the FBI to that list, according to the latest drops.

We now know that the FBI interfered with the 2020 election by lying to tech giants about the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. Not only Twitter but also Facebook and many others were on the receiving end of these FBI lies. (Related: The Department of Homeland Security [DHS] also colluded with Twitter and Facebook to silence free speech.)

Hunter’s laptop came to the forefront of the news cycle on Oct. 14, 2020, when the New York Post published an article about it called “Smoking-Gun Email Reveals How Hunter Biden Introduced Ukrainian Businessman to VP Dad.” As its title implies, those emails proved that Hunter and his criminal father Joe were engaged in deep state treason.

Emails, text messages, and video footage recovered from the hard drive of Hunter’s laptop fully indict the fake president’s son, as well as the fake president himself. And yet the FBI influenced Twitter and other social media platforms to censor it as “fake news.”

Using its “hacked materials” policy as an excuse, Twitter systematically banned the Post story from being shared. It even suspended the official account for the Post as punishment.

Jim Baker, Twitter’s then-Deputy General Counsel, along with Yoel Roth, Twitter’s then-head of “Trust and Safety,” both agreed that the Post article needed to be censored. Roth acknowledge that the situation was “emerging,” but said “the facts remain unclear” – and that was that.

Baker agreed that “we need more facts to assess whether the materials were hacked,” adding that “it is reasonable for us to assume they may have been and that caution is warranted.”

I don't think energy lobby would ever allow an electric car that charges itself with cold fusion. Maybe if it's so heavily taxed that running it equals owning a ICE car. It's probably going to be a mix of hybrids, ICE's, EV's and hydrogen cars. But fully electric future is hardly possible.

In the US, people are waking up about how to bypass government in a whole lot of things. It hasn't gotten to cold fusion yet, but it might sometime. Private Membership Association - https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=Private+Membership+Association.

Yeah, the thing with news like this is the general western public is not going to believe it even if it's legit. And western mainstream media are not going to cover it either. So the only outlet are not so legit looking news sites which gives it even less credibility. Not saying it's true or false news.

So, one of the problems is to figure out who is the fake news. Here's one method.

During all the Covid emergency from 1 or 2 years ago, Dell Bigtree of The Highwire showed us how. He went and got clips from a whole bunch of major news networks, and from all kinds of news announcers, that showed them saying word-for-word, exactly the same thing at the same time.

Now how coincidental is that? Others besides Del have done it (not necessarily about Covid) and posted in Youtube clips. Somebody high-up joker(s) in the whole news cabal, is(are) dictating what news should be heard, over and over again by the dumbed-down public. Why are they doing it? It's training, otherwise known as indoctrination. And they have found methods that work on the unthinking public. Covid was simply one of them.

The garbage Ukraine news fed us by the US media is more indoctrination. And it works. But some of us are a little smarter than believing them.

Another method to see the true news...

Now if only the rest of the world that doesn't want to trade with them freely, would only get off their back so they wouldn't have to use force to protect themselves and their interests, there would be peace all around.

Here is a clarification of what is happening with the recent Arizona election. A judge has ordered a prompt review of the complaint and the election processes as necessary.

Judge Orders Kari Lake And Katie Hobbs To Appear At Emergency Court Hearing Over Election Lawsuit

A judge overseeing Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake's electoral lawsuit ordered Lake, Secretary of State and Arizona Gov.-elect Katie Hobbs, Maricopa County Board of Supervisors officials, and others to appear at a court hearing on Tuesday.

Judge Peter Thompson, in issuing the (pdf) order, wrote that the court has "reviewed" Lake's "verified statement of election contest" and said the "matter will be set on an accelerated basis." Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer and Board of Supervisors Chairman Bill Gates were also ordered to attend the hearing, which will start at 2 p.m. ET.

It comes as Lake stated Monday that her lawsuit is, in part, fueled by alleged whistleblower claims who have come forward.

"We've had three whistleblowers from Maricopa County reach out and say the system is seriously flawed," Lake told Just the News on Monday, days after the suit was filed with a Maricopa County court.

No, it's because Putin invaded Ukraine.  US doesn't have any bio-warfare labs in Ukraine.

Just think how bad it will get when a pill is developed that can allow people to live several hundred years. So far there are two medical things that researchers have found out that show that such a pill can be on the way in the near future:
1. That life is shortened when the DNA becomes shorter through cell division;
2. That telomeres become inactive, which allows the DNA in chromosome strands to unravel, causing the chromosome to become unable to divide, thereby causing its death.

Right now you can get a product called TA-65, which comes from the astragulus plant, that activates the telomerase enzyme, which activates telomeres, which stops aging... if taken in enough quantity. However, the price is about $600 for a 3-month supply. It's high because of a monopoly on the particular formula, and because no other product comes close in doing the job.

So, think about when the population doubles to 16 billion because nobody dies.

The S&P 500 dropped 2.49% to 3,895.75, bringing its decline for December to about 4.5%. The Nasdaq Composite tumbled 3.23% to 10,810.53 as the battered tech-heavy index stretched its 2022 losses to nearly 31%.

The sell-off was broad-based with only 14 stocks in the S&P 500 trading in positive territory. Mega-cap tech stocks declined, with shares of Apple and Alphabet down more than 4%, while Amazon and Microsoft were lower by more than 3%. Shares of Netflix fell 8.6% following a Digiday report that said the streaming firm is offering to return money to advertisers after missing viewership targets.

The disappointing retail sales report suggested inflation is taking a toll on consumers. Retail sales fell 0.6% in November, according to the Commerce Department. That was a bigger loss than the Dow Jones estimate of a 0.3% decline.

The selling began Wednesday in the wake of the Fed's latest boost in its overnight borrowing rate. The central bank also said it will continue hiking rates through 2023 and projected its fed funds rate to peak at a higher-than-expected 5.1%.
