Just updating you guys that I still didn't get the payment.
Is UpDown truly a BTC Foundation Member?

He is ...

Is it too hard to check on Foundation Web Page? Smiley
https://bitcoinfoundation.org/members/

but this only mean that he paid 25k for it ... nothing more.

Everyone can pay and became a member ....
Just what for? Cheesy

Whether the game will be released in next week?

Not the game but "Beta" version of the game Smiley

Sound similar but this isn't the same thing Smiley

It should be released next week or two as was announced.

I can't wait for that too!

3107  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-06-10] Bitcoin price 'to hit $2000' by end of the year on: July 11, 2014, 10:30:45 AM
I like bullish articles Smiley  as I though on my own that we will hit >$2000 very soon (very soon = a year).

I am not sure what will be at the end of 2014 as we have already 2014-07-11 and we haven't seen any good rally this year ...
What we saw was a drop.

I am sure that with a good wind we can get higher than $2000 this year but for now price is ~$620, so it might be hard ... Smiley

Time will show.

3108  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: New bitcoin open ponzi game with 150% hourly payouts on: July 11, 2014, 10:25:43 AM
I believe it to be the same as any other gambling game, some people will win and some people will lose and its as simple as that!

Well not really.

When you are gambling you know when you can lose and when you can win.

For example you place a bet on roulette number 21, and other number is thrown - you see that you lost and you know why.

Ponzi scheme told you : you will get 150%!!! but at the end someone will not get their money and they don't know why - as they saw only 150%...

when you bet that germany will win World Cup and you see that they lost 2-1 you know that it was unlucly bet.
When you play Ponzi you never know when you are losing and when winning.

gambling and ponzi are not really the same.
3109  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to prove how many BTC i have on: July 11, 2014, 10:22:11 AM
You can prove that you're the owner of a certain address by signing a message with that address.

Others can verify if this is correct in their own Bitcoin wallet.

Indeed this is one of the best method to prove that you own some Bitcoin address.

on other hand you can send to someone small amount of bitcoin (0.00001 for example) to prove him that you are in a control of that address.

Hi Guys,

I'm starting a coin that requires me to prove my BTC balance. Any ideas on how to do this with out risking my privacy.

Screenshots wont do as they can be modified easily.

Regards
killa

You're "starting a coin" but you don't know how to prove a bitcoin balance. Seriously.

Well this is interesting indeed =)

According to our pool we haven't got much time to hit >$700 Smiley

But well ... Wink in the thread's poll there is no "$" sign Smiley so well .. we will hit >700 yuan with no problem Cheesy
hehe

This seems like it will be another very flat weekend ...

Somehow this thread is related with this one? : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=684991.msg7773842#msg7773842

well .. there are different members creating those threads but those looks very similar ... just they are saying about different persons ....

Even first line of the OP with a mistake (double : :  ) is the same in both threads ...
What happened::

in in both of the cases ... this isn't related with Bitcoin...

Is that word (imbryczek) is difficult to pronounce?
What are your feelings/associations with this word (imbryczek)?

Thanks Wink

Omg and why are you interested about it ? xD

this is funny Smiley I know that world as this is from my native language but I don't get what's so special about it and why you are asking about what you're asking about. Wink

Strange ... Tongue

Question on staking - what significance of the staking weight against network weight?  My weight seems a large proportion of the network weight.

It's just because you have too much coins and you are staking like a Hammer Smiley

Sorry, I don't understand the staking formula because I'm hopeless in mathematical. Sad

I don't know details but I can say that higher staking weight means more coins for you Smiley

If you have for example 10k of Coin2 you need to wait a day till you will get some ++ coins from staking.

If you have 500k you will get coins after each 4 hours of staking.. Smiley and so  on..
3115  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.5btc - 2btc loans (no collateral required) Quick Loans for you! on: July 10, 2014, 08:04:45 PM
Well this loan isn't so quick as thread's title say Smiley

Kriste19 want a "Identity,Proof of income and Proof of address "

I must say this isn't 1st time on this forum when "generous" newbie member is trying to get people's IDs while offering "impossibly" good loans.

I wish all best to Kriste19 but people think before you send your ID to unknown person ...

Regards.
3116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BANKSYCOIN OFFICIAL LAUNCH # NEW CRYPTO COIN on: July 10, 2014, 07:57:14 PM
Dear BanksyCoin

You have yet to upload the source code anywhere.  ( or clearly indicate where it is, in case I'm just missing something Smiley )

This is something you must ensure as fast as possible. Installing pre compiled wallets without any source code available is something that can be misunderstood by the crypto community or even generate suspicions.

Although I might be forfeiting my chance to win 50K coins for free, I don't fell confortable enough to run a setup of a pre compiled wallet that is not source code accessible.

All the rest is quite fine and there are some positive advantages for this coin, so, please, don't let it be wasted by cutting the initial adoption short - by not following the most fundamental things in crypto (source code).

Best of luck

I agree that source code for this wallet is very needed Smiley
I don't feel the pain cause I have a control over my computer and I see all of the hidden things that would try to steal anything from me Smiley
So I was careful while installing BanksyCoin wallet and I found that is it safe to use Smiley Perhaps other full/sr/hero members did similar thing to me Wink

But indeed - source code is something what we want to have ASAP Smiley

And Linux wallet would be great too! Smiley

Cheers!
3117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BANKSYCOIN OFFICIAL LAUNCH # NEW CRYPTO COIN on: July 10, 2014, 07:10:06 PM
Well BanksyCoin you couldn't imagine better "Official Launch" - so seems like 17 will be lucky for you and hopefully for us too! Smiley

Many well known forum members are already here with us and we are up to support our new coin Smiley

And what I can say is that the thing that full and senior and hero members will join us is because this coin has got really good looking wallet with really great functionality which I would like to see in the "Bitcoin Core" wallet.

With those super fast transactions it can be very, very interesting.

I feel like this will be a kinda good time with BanksyCoin Smiley

Can't wait for more news and updates Smiley

Kind regards.

Hah! @gielbier - Paper wallet looks very cool! Smiley
3118  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How much BTC i get with 480GH minner on: July 10, 2014, 05:51:37 PM
Thanx alot bro Smiley

My pleasure.  So far as I know this calculator is very accurate.

EDITED: but I don't mine so I cannot say what mean "very accurate" Smiley

I can add that you should always think about that :
1. Price of a Bitcoin will go up Smiley (more profits)
2. If price will skyrocket - difficult will skyrocket too Tongue (less profit)

Kind regards.
