There is this company Lazycoins which recently setup a UK office and look like they are working towards gaining a license with HMRC , although I thought a while ago they were already accepting faster payment transfers, maybe I am wrong in this and it was another company but I am pretty sure they were doing this a short while ago. https://lazycoins.com/fiatQuite a few Bitcoin places started off with faster payments. After a few weeks or months they lost it again, often the entire account too. Even if you route through an obscure bank, that obscure bank is still at the mercy of the major UK banks as to whether it can access their markets and facilities. There was an Isle of Man bank that had the same thing happen to it when they offered an account to a Bitcoin business. I hope Lazycoins does manage to break the trend but I'm not hopeful. It will be an interesting time for sure when the first company does manage to get both feet firmly planted in the UK, especially the user uptake as I would imagine it would take a significant amount of time before trust can be built.

It is quite a pain trying to use banks with Bitcoin, when buying bitcoin from Bitylicious it is requested not to put anything about BTC in any reference field to avoid any issues. Nowadays to create an altcoin which is simply a clone of an existing coin without anything new being brought to the table seems like the norm. There are new altcoin launches almost everyday and the majority of these are simple clones, with the creator having no view to the future beyond making a quick profit. I have noticed the altcoin community becoming very sceptical towards new altcoins especially when there is an ICO involved as 9 times out of 10 the dev will take the ICO and run.
My advice to you if you are serious about creating a 'new' coin, gain as much knowledge as you can and look to bring something that will differentiate you from the other altcoins and make you stand out.

I'm going to have to deny you as well. It looks like the majority of your posts are very short, and not very constructive. That is fair enough, my posts would have obviously changed to meet the campaign guidelines but you do reserve the right to refuse. Good luck with the campaign.

There has been some problem. I saw another user reporting the same problem. Send a support ticket. I highly recommend you to use a different app because Coinbase is not secure. Some of the wallets I recommend are Bitcoin Wallet, Bither, GreenAddress and Mycelium. I waa going to start using the Coinbase android app, I had no idea of any security issues. I will check out these recommendations, glad I saw this post.

This is amazing! What a nice case use of normal everyday things to mine Bitcoins, while offering us a service... Next up is our toasters mining Bitcoin I did see an artical recently in the UK regarding toasters mining BTC, I can't see this ever being profitable for the individual, I would guess all the mining would feed back to the company and then maybe reach the consumer in terms of cheaper products/bills etc. A pretty cool idea though in this age of the internet of things, the possibilities are endless, hair dryers, fridges and so on. It would be great if someone could create some kind of universal add on to power sockets that would feed back to a central point and then the consumer could get some compensation based on the appliance and time used, could be a real money maker. One for the Apprentice I think.
