3101  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation expected as high as 4% in Apr in USA on: June 16, 2021, 01:58:57 AM
This is the figure for April, yet still quite a figure to be dealt with for those who live on salaries, that tend to go after the inflation, and great news for those who have a mortgage or own money, since they are on the winning side for now - until interest rates catch up.

How is this going to affect bitcoin? If we make an analogy with commodities and particularly those used on the industrial processes, it will have a lift effect in price, sometimes much higher that what could normally be for other assets. I think is a good moment to stockpile bitcoin, copper... even tin, although is a bit expensive already.
Almost every country around the world has been hit so badly with inflation this time. India has shown a wholesale inflation rate of more than 12% and a retail inflation of more than 6%, I think capital appreciation is going to get much more difficult now as the interest rates are still quite low, Infact, even most of the Term Deposits are offering lower interest rates than the Inflation rate of the country this time. I think the only source of Investment left to protect your Capital from Inflation is just Stocks and Crypto. While Stocks too should be chosen in an intelligent manner. High Debt stocks can become riskier if Interest rates try to coincide as per Inflation Rates, High debt companies might not be able to Maintain Adequate ROE if this happens.
Most of the country now are suffering from a big inflation and that is expected considering the money that the government printed over the past months to fight this pandemic. Debt per capita are also rising and that can affect a country in long term if they are not able to address this problem. We are still on a pandemic though some countries are slowly going back to normal which is a good sign, we can still feel the effect of this pandemic in the next 2 - 5 years.
3102  Economy / Speculation / Re: I cannot stop buying on: June 15, 2021, 11:22:17 PM
I think I am addicted to buying Bitcoin. I buy only little by little but this is too addictive. I still have some cash but that money is being spent on buying Bitcoin every day. Do you think this is wise or should I stop for few days?VidMate  Mobdro

To save yourself from fees, you can do it monthly and that’s a good strategy for your long term goal because Bitcoin will rise again and since you are buying on a averaging method, you can have more profit. Buying bitcoin is always a good decision for me, you’re addict in a good way so don’t worry that much.
3103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does on-line compete with the VIP experience on: June 15, 2021, 10:34:06 PM
I really believe VIP players or the billionaires will not play online and I’m sure they are playing behind the closed doors and since they are VIP, casinos have to make way for them to continue gambling. Imagine you’re a billionaire and you’re too focus on your laptop just for gambling, they’d rather spend more time into other things than to their computers.
3104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't blame Elon musk and China for the dip!!!!!!! on: June 15, 2021, 10:01:12 PM
I don't like it when people accuse some third parties and celebrities that the market has collapsed or some kind of recession has occurred. I don't think that ordinary people play a big role right now, most of which somehow have a small share of bitcoins compared to the huge balance sheets of exchanges and institutional investors. Therefore, those people who have lost money in the current recession can blame anyone and as much as they want, but that will not change anything.

There’s a lot of reason for the price dump but we have to accept that FUD created by Elon and China made a lot of contribution for the price to go down because that’s already a signal for the whales to sell their holdings and but back again at the bottom of the market. Big players know this one, and we should know it too instead of blaming better to watch them closely and trade accordingly.
3105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: June 15, 2021, 07:58:00 AM
I know its an individual thing, but if you are in an alt and it is pumping...when is the best time to sell? I feel as though every-time I am in a coin that starts to make some good gain I leave it to long to sell..Anyone else do that. I heard it is because of greed, we star imagining all things we can do with our new profits, but the longer we leave it the more chance of not making good profits. Does anyone have a good strategy for knowing when to sell?
Depends on your contentment, if you are already happy with 10% profit then you can sell right away and reinvest that money in other project. You have to set your target price and cut loss level, this should be done right before you execute your trade. Analyze the price chart, this is the best strategy using indicators so you can know when to sell or buy. Personally, 20% profit is my minimum but if the market is still bullish I adjust that limit.
3106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is This Chart Bullish or Bearish? on: June 14, 2021, 11:54:12 PM
There's a slight bearish market in this chart from previous days, but looking unto the latest chart update recently I see a positive signs that we're going to experience another price outbreak.
Unexpected times will fall upon every week, and definitely we should be more careful in every actions that we made. Day trading isn't certain for now, so we must be careful now because one day market will be back to green again.
That’s a bear chart but we are on a different situation now, we have to break the resistance to reverse the trend. We’ve reached $40k again with Bitcoin and that’s a good sign of market reversal, we just have to wait and stay above this level. The market is very volatile that anything can happen, always look at the chart and use this as your guide in buying and selling.
3107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big companies finally had enough of the excessive tax on: June 14, 2021, 10:56:28 PM
20% is indeed too much and i cant really blame them out for them to react and make out some appeal for those absurd set tax.

20% is just fine as long as it was structurally planned and organized. Like for example, if the gambling industry is really taking a big growth there, the government can imposed an additional tax on a yearly basis instead. There should be a reason for another taxation and if necessary to do so.

And while the gambling industry is blooming there, the same tax proposal should also be the same for other performing industries there but again, implement it slowly as we all know some industries are still catching up with their usual phase prior to the pandemic.
There's always a reason for government to increase the tax collection, that's their job in order to sustain the economic status. We all know in most of the countries, collecting taxes are one of the main reason why they are still functioning like in my country, taxes are very important especially during this pandemic where the government needs to collect money in order to help people and deal with this pandemic.
3108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins have no use case on: June 14, 2021, 10:21:02 PM
Thank you @op for such a wonderful and detailed write up, meme coins are as good as useless, for it is only useful to those who are in for some quick profit which for some still end up as quick loss, meme coins won't even survive the slightest experience of a bear market, and a coin or token that cant stand a bear market is absolutely a shitcoin.
I join the op to advice everyone investing in meme coins to be very careful how they invest their money to avoid unprecedented losses, only invest your hard earned money on quality and useful coins and projects, coins and tokens with clear use case, genuine team and a clear and achieveable roadmap.
That's why it called a meme token because they have no use in this market aside from being a meme and I don't really see their usage in this market in the long run. Most of the meme token will die eventually so don't hold for too long and always play short with any meme token. Though DOGE is totally different because it is being hyped by Elon but sooner or later, it will go back from where it begin in the bottom.
3109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There must not be more penny coins like Safemoon or Shib on: June 14, 2021, 09:56:27 PM
There must not be more penny coins like Safemoon or Shib

There must not be more penny coins like Safemoon or Shib as coins like these are destroying real projects because the money is circulating in such coins. Its bad impacts are hurting investors. They are losing their investment day by day. We have to stay away from more such projects or they will harm Bitcoin.
I don't think it can harm bitcoin because since then a lot of shitcoins already came into this market and none of them harm Bitcoin because they are just here to scam people. Bitcoin is already an established coin and scam projects wont hurt the market anymore not unless we hear so many hacking incidents. Those penny tokens are made a lot of good runs in the past months and many of my friends made a lot of money from that, I cannot blame them for joining the hype because they know what they are doing.
3110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i believe a person who said"my trust wallet get hacked" ? on: June 13, 2021, 10:59:22 PM
Since i joined the crypto world i didnt face any problem regrading wallets but i see that many people lose funds...somtimes the situation is normal like when somone share his private key or back up phrase in a scam website...but lets imagine that somone open a nwe wallet on trust and start using it without even keeping the phrase...is there a way to enter his wallet and make transactions without even having the back up phrase?
You have a different question on the title and the post itself, well backup phrase is very important so you should always have that in a safe place. Your wallet is safe as long as you protect it and you keep your keeps privately, never share it to anyone. Trust wallet is a great wallet, don’t waste your money so start saving your phrase now.

Mas ok talaga maginvest direct dito sa market instead of dealing to any suspicious deal, laging magiingat mga kababayan.
3112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's say you have a large amount of BTC and you on: June 12, 2021, 09:53:06 PM
There has always been a problem cashing out a sizeable amount of bitcoin, this is because only centralized exchange offers such services and it requires a KYC which is what discourages many bitcoin holders.
If you don’t want to expose yourself then it’s really a big problem cashing out your holdings since exchanges are asking for KYC to avail their P2P services. If you have nothing to hide then I believe filling out KYC form is ok but if you are dealing into something, you should look for a person that is willing to buy your Bitcoin. Withdrawing your money is too complicated for you to remain anonymous, I can’t think for any solution aside from P2P.
3113  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin price not in a good Hight. ano masasabi niyo ang dahilan si Elon ba...? on: June 12, 2021, 09:43:33 PM
I didn’t know when the market will crash, but I know when to buy and sell.
3114  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: June 12, 2021, 07:43:26 PM
Each site can evoke different reactions and opinions from players. If you go to play somewhere, you can have pleasant experiences at the site. Still, there are players who are not satisfied. I
personally think you shouldn't place a lot of value on the trust. You don't always have to say something. Personal experiences are much more useful to you.
After all, with other accounts you don't know what happened to the accounts in question.
Reviews and opinions from other gamblers is important for a new gambler looking for a good site because we usually depend on that and of course every gambling site have their own problem, it just depend on how they handle it and if the gambler are satisfied they’ll give a good review. There’s no perfect gambling site, because some are still experiencing backlog, but still you fee the security if you are playing on a good site.
3115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 12, 2021, 03:05:23 PM
There is no connection with your prayers and gambling. That two are conflicting each other. The teachings in religions are that they don't agree with gambling.
And that's why if you're praying for luck and you want to win as you gamble, your prayers won't be heard. Your luck comes unexpectedly and there's no need for a prayer with that.
Good point! I don't think all religions condemn gambling, but I agree with you that the outcome depends on luck and no prayer can change that. But let's not forget that gambling is intended for entertainment in the first place. If for some people it's more fun when they pray before making their bets, who am I to say they shouldn't do it?
Only those who depend too much in gambling will pray for him to win, though I know we all want to win while having fun but I don’t think praying can help because if all the religious people go to casinos and gamble, they will win but that’s not the case since luck didn’t come from any kind of prayers.
3116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about the future of the market? on: June 12, 2021, 01:57:26 PM
I’ve have been dealing with a great NFT projects in the past days and I can say that they are really good and most of the NFT project has a bright future. Don’t be afraid of the falling prices because that’s normal and the crypto market can still recover. Have you heard about the news with regards to making Bitcoin as a legal tender in El Salvador? Imagine the future that we have on this kind of news and do the math.
3117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 12, 2021, 01:23:18 PM
Yeah thats why they made a decision not to allow Ravena since they now this could possibly start their problem since this could make the fans turn off for seeing him leaving the league.

The Shiga signing is by surprise and out of the blue. And after just signing, Ravena will head right away to Japan with some unfinished business. That was unrespectful indeed for a professional player, who just sign a fresh agreement with NLEX and PBA, so the league takes action and I think what they did is right. Take note also that he agree to sign in Uniform Players' Contract (UPC) where he agrees that he won't be a move to another league.

If Ravena really talks to the PBA board prior to signing, there shouldn't be an issue now or the issue got settled behind the cameras. And he is silent about the issue, not because he was asked to do so or to not make any controversies, but I'm sure they admit there was a really a mistake on their part.

More importantly, I don't see his future bid on playing outside the country will be jeopardized. Time will heal everything and soon, his current contract will be restructured and modified so that he can now play outside without any questions.

I'm just curious why the PBA has said if the player wants out of the league, is it that the team and players side to settle? it's like the PBA holds the player's neck in every situation, all the trades and players being swap to other superpower teams like making the league unbalance and no competition, i think the rules need to change because at the end of the day this should be between the team and the owners the should be talking and not the league?
PBA are so greedy, they have to secure good players to remain on top of ahead of other league and we all know that there’s so much politics in PBA. Anyway, Kieffer should know this in the first place before agreeing to sign a contract into foreign league, but I guess if it’s a foreign league I believe we should support our local players and that contract should consider this as well, we need a big change to save basketball in our country.
3118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese Poker (Pusoy) - On what crypto-gambling site can I play this? on: June 12, 2021, 07:28:45 AM
It's somehow similar to the regular poker game although with very variation. Chinese casino gambling sites should have this listed in their gambling options since it's only common to them. You can access their casino features if you reside in china because I believe there might be In restrictions to their gambling sites for gamblers outside china.
It’s very rare to see a crypto casinos to have this kind of Chinese poker and seriously, I always play this one every time I visit my old friends since this has become our ultimate bonding. If you guys know where to play this one feel free to share, I’m sure some of us wants to try this online and use our crypto to gamble, Chinese poker is already part of our culture honestly.
3119  Local / Pamilihan / Re: BPI hindi na mag allow crypto transactions on: June 11, 2021, 10:46:11 PM
I usually use BPI for P2P and now I’m thinking if dapat ko naba ito baguhin or antayin ang iba pang instruction from BPI. When it comes to coinsph, security and unionbank lang ang madalas ko gamitin kase sila ang may instapay. BPI is one of the oldest bank pero tama ang ibang comment dito, hinde ganoon kaganda ang sistema nito. I don’t think other local banks will do the same, because if they do saka nila malalaman kung ano ba talaga ang cryptocurrency years later, pero too late for them na.
3120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BabelFish x Sovryn on: June 11, 2021, 05:39:03 AM
There's a lot of good reviews about Sovryn and its really good that the project deliver its promise and that's why we saw a surge on its price. Babelfish is launching on the Platform of Sovryn, but we can't expect the same success so we must look at Babelfish alone and analyze if its a good project or not. I still have a limited information about Babelfish, will look closely into this project.
