3101  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bbcnews.app | Fake Tesla doge giveaway on: August 02, 2021, 05:53:16 PM
Bumping thread with another similar scam domain name investdoge.cf. I am not familiar with this kind of domain extension. Domain extension itself looking scammy to me. Not a surprise but this site has been advertising in Facebook ads. Guys just note this domain name and store it in mind as a scam site. The site just used the same script as before, just changing the domain name continuously. Avoid greed, stay safe.

Merit post for merit?
We know everyone those are active on reputation & meta that LocyeV is the best contributor and helpful for the forum. And at the same time, he is one of the top merit earners as well. It doesn't necessary to create a separate thread for each top contributor and merit earner.
3103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can one store/swap Bitcoin? on: August 01, 2021, 06:17:17 PM
What about Ledger nano? As far as I can remember there was a swap option in Ledger Live. And here is the article you can read Introducing Ledger Swap: One Place for Everything Crypto. You have to swap using their party partnered with Ledger. When you wonder to swap or exchange than either you have to exchange or third party instant swap. You can't ignore that. But for your holdings, Ledger is the best hardware wallet. By the way, many suggestions have been given, so do your own research.
3104  Other / Beginners & Help / Newbies ! A wrong (Altcoin) selection would destroy your dream on: August 01, 2021, 05:52:52 PM
Just came to my mind and wonder to share with the community especially for newbies.

A wrong (Altcoin) selection would destroy your dream.
You may order how? I will share my experience then you would realize the concept. I can't recall the exact date but most probably it's the beginning of 2018 when Bitcoin started dumping. I was a newbie in trading and holding. Somehow it's come to mind since I am not a good trader I should hold the coin for a long time. So that I can multiply my (Bitcoin) portfolio. I did the same as what was in my mind. Rather than holding Bitcoin, I moved to altcoin. I select two altcoins for investment and holding. And almost 1.5 BTC has invested. It was my first mistake.

However, a few days it was good for me. But when happen massive Bitcoin dump all altcoin start dumping. The dumping speed was more than Bitcoin. So I didn't bother to sell due to the huge dump. It was my second mistake what I realize now. Then suddenly Exchange announced delist for one of my holds altcoin. Means I lost too much here. Then I sold that shitcoin and add a few more QTY to my other holding. That was my 3rd mistake. As a result that shitcoin value is less than $1K. I don't bother to sell this shitcoin still now, just leave it as it is.

So my wrong (Altcoin) selection lead me to break my dreams. If I were just left Bitcoin rather than move into altcoin then I should be in a good position today. Now 1.5 BTC is worth too much especially when it was above $60K.

I hope newbies can take a lesson from this story. It's not just a story, it's giving me pain sometimes when remembering it. So when you think something similar, please select the best altcoin otherwise just stick with Bitcoin. Research the market as much as possible you can during the selection of altcoin investments. And don't repeat the previous mistakes that I have done.

Best of luck to all of you guys.
3105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel like there is no way to keep up on: August 01, 2021, 05:29:50 PM
Are you losing faith in Bitcoin? Otherwise, why are you wondering to move into altcoin? Just be very careful. The same mistake is done by me a couple of years ago and my altcoin hasn't recovered yet even Bitcoin played well. If I just hold my Bitcoin rather than move into altcoin then I would be a millionaire today. My one mistake destroyed my dreams. Till today my holding (altcoin) has not recovered. Even I can't move from it because it's just worthless if I sell now. I am not your financial advisor, but as a forum mate, I will suggest sticking with Bitcoin. But yes, if you are well experienced then you may take short sometimes. A wrong selection would destroy your dream.
3106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin an Investment or Payment form? Has it lost its purpose? on: August 01, 2021, 04:59:25 PM
No, I don't think Bitcoin lost its purpose anyway. Aren't many companies have been accepting Bitcoin? But yea, we can't ignore most people select Bitcoin as a potential investment. We can't or shouldn't prevent them, but it doesn't mean really Bitcoin losing its purpose why has it been created. I can't blow up your concern about transaction delay, but it really depends on the fees that you are using. There are a few features that would reduce fees and speed up transactions duration like SegWit & Lightning networks. Hope it will reduce transactions delay problems.

We offer instant deposits and withdrawals.
So where is your instant withdrawal? I think this was the first withdrawal request from the forum gambler where you promised instant withdrawal. Even withdrawal requests weren't much big. For me, it's really not a good sign. You should take a look immediately in this case and update here what was the issue. Otherwise, you will lose faith in the forum before gain it.
Site recovered but my INSTANT withdrawal still didn't processed
Still not yet confirmed your withdrawal request?

He is not a "gambler" he deposited because he found out the game's results before they were played. We are resolving his case with him privately right now.
Surprising! Means there were technical problems in your site and @hauzenberg have taken advantage of that. If it's true, then that's your problem, you should identify the issue and solve it as soon as possible. If hauzenberg tells the truth then you should award him due to point you the bug. I am not much expert and can't determine who is cheating. A statement from hauzenberg clears the suspension. Just ask him to post here once you solved the issue.

3109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Game with hidden Bitcoin on: July 31, 2021, 05:46:06 PM
Has this game been released? I will certainly try it.
Had you read the main post? The possible launching date has mentioned in the first line.
Who Stole My Beard is a retro game that should be released on August 2nd 2021
The bold part is the launch date according to OP.

Anyway, I am not a fan of mobile game or PC game since don't have enough time. I don't like to install the game on my phone as well due to various reasons. But definitely, I can't win BTC even I play, because I am not lucky in the gamble.
3110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin worth so much? on: July 31, 2021, 05:08:56 PM
Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency that succeeds in its goal. There were multiple attempts to create a cryptocurrency, but that wasn't much success. You can read this article Were There Cryptocurrencies Before Bitcoin?. So it's called mother coin even many altcoins have been creating. The reward process of Bitcoin makes it more popular since at the beginning people earned Bitcoin by mining. Bitcoin is still most secure than any other altcoin and worldwide accepted by the community. You can see altcoin community is very limited. All the altcoins aren't true decentralized where we can say Bitcoin is truly decentralized. Most altcoins don't have any real goal, just raising money and keep quiet. But Bitcoin is the same from the beginning. Just research yourself and you can discover many things why Bitcoin is worthy than other altcoins.

Welcome to the forum and gambling world as well. Please remove this part from your announcement thread to avoid a permanent/temp ban.
Giveaway
We are giving away 5000 satoshis to the first 25 people to comment their usernames in this thread.
An announcement thread isn't the right place to run a giveaway. You are paying who replying in this thread. It will consider a thread bumping service. The right place to run your giveaway is Games & Round section. You can link up your giveaway thread on the announcement thread. But you can't run giveaway directly in the announcement thread since it does require replying on the thread.

By the way, the announcement thread would be more attractive, just hire someone to make a good design.
3112  Other / Meta / theymos, please increase source merits allocation. on: July 30, 2021, 05:07:09 PM
As the title says, I feel my merit allocation is too low although I don't know the exact allocation for me. It's because most of the days in a month I am seeing this message during sending merits.
Quote
You are a merit source. The next 0 merit you spend will come from your source rather than your sMerit balance

I am a person who loves spreading merits even when I wasn't a merit source. It's been a long time I become a merit source and still not yet request to increase allocation.

Hope you will reconsider reallocate my source merit.

Thanks.
3113  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Brand New member pay small evil fees. on: July 30, 2021, 04:47:52 PM
To prove the legitimacy of your account, why don't you escrow the fund? There are reputed members that provide escrow service on this forum. If still otherwise, it seem shaddy.
Does it really necessary? Is he asking for funds? Rather than he is willing to pay the evil fee. I am not seeing any risk since newbies aren't payers, they are takers here. I don't agree to blame OP unless there is any evidence he asking for the fund.

For newbies who are willing to unban your account from the evil ban, please don't pay anything to the OP (EYC_ONE).  Rather than contact the person who can whitelist free. You can find it above the list.
3114  Economy / Reputation / Re: Planned merits vs actual merits on: July 30, 2021, 08:15:01 AM
First of all, I believe CryptopreneurBrainboss not abusing the merit system. Secondly, I don't think it's something wrong with meriting with a short period. I don't know CryptopreneurBrainboss's merit sending criteria but for me, I do the same thing sometimes. If I found a user make a very good post then I become curious to visit his post history if there is more good and quality post exist. If so, then I send merit a few posts from his/her post history. I don't think I am doing wrong since merited posts aren't spam to me. For this reason, no one should blame me for merit abuse.

@ OP, I'm not blowing your concern and appreciate your effort. But it will be better if you can add more details if you discovered merit abuse there. I know many users abusing the merit system. But we are unable to do anything if no strong evidence. Personally, I like to see more merit circulation, so more users would get benefits from the merit system.
3115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Bitcoin on: July 29, 2021, 05:09:22 PM
So many ads in this article. I try to read it and when read a couple of lines then ads popping up which discourages me to read all the articles. What I realize the article trying to say Bitcoin is not worth anything. This isn't new for us, many people already want to prove Bitcoin is worthless. But at the end of the day, nothing happens. Most likely no one can prove worthless Bitcoin. It will just exist as a dream. As much as a ban will happen, it will be more popular, doesn't matter price dump or pump, it's a different story.
3116  Other / Archival / Re: Helpful Guides For Newbie on the Electrum Wallet on: July 29, 2021, 04:29:39 PM
Thanks for sharing all the information about the Electrum wallet. To be honest, before joining this forum I wasn't aware of any non-custodial wallet. How will aware since I wasn't familiar with the custodial or non-custodial wallet. I thought there is only a Bitcoin wallet like Blockchain, Coinbase & Coinpayment. My eye opened after joined the forum during reading many threads about Bitcoin wallets. So, this post would very helpful for newbies like me. It's quite important to avoid custodial wallets to avoid much harassment. Just need to make sure downloading source is original and secure credentials.
3117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It feel good to see Bitcoin going well on: July 29, 2021, 03:59:04 PM
A few bad news came out at the same time which has to lead to a massive dump for the Bitcoin price. On the other hand, traders become much panic due to this bad news. But in the end, Bitcoin starts to recover due to Amazon's fake news. Although the news was fake still seems Bitcoin is well played and traders aren't panic as well. After that observation, I believe patient traders are the winner. Patience is the key to trading. Volatile will always exist in Bitcoin price. So we have to trade by accepting this volatility.
3118  Economy / Reputation / Re: A Heroic Moment: My gratitude on: July 29, 2021, 02:48:44 PM
Congratulations on your achievement. Usually, I feel happy when I see someone rank up after the implementation of the merit system. Because earning merits isn't an easy task at all especially for non-contributors, since you successfully upgraded your rank means somehow you contribute to the forum. Trust me, as a merit source when I notice someone needs a few merits to rank up, then I help them without hesitation. I wasn't well familiar with you and most likely I missed your posts.

Anyway, keep up your contribution to the forum and I believe once a day you will be Legendary. If you start contributing seriously then this day isn't so far. Best of luck.
3119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Game with hidden Bitcoin on: July 28, 2021, 06:48:08 PM
I have to admit it's a smart move for the app's developer. It's a win-win situation for game developers and Bitcoin as well. It's a kind of Bitcoin small adaption, but behind that, this game would gain popularity quickly due to the Bitcoin puzzle. For example, many users from the forum will try to gain Bitcoin from this game, that's how we will spread the word to each other's and game users will be increased. It's a smart marketing strategy and should appreciate their marketing manager for such as smart move.
3120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time estimate for Binance Exchange Listing Application Review on: July 28, 2021, 06:36:19 PM
You won't get an honest answer from here about the listing in Binance. Since you are wondering to list your token in Binance so hope you read the article about listing in there. If you are missing here is that, Listing a Coin on Binance.com

Binance receives a large number of applications and listings have to go through a rigorous screening process, please be patient after submitting your application.
Here you can see Binance itself can't give you a time frame due to large applications volume. Times won't same for all the projects.
