3102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Philippines Officially Legitimize Bitcoin as Payment Method on: June 06, 2017, 03:24:32 PM
More countries are going to follow suit when they realize trying to regulate or control it is an unrealistic approach.

aren't other country already regulating it? control bitcoin maybe not, but when you legalize bitcoin and make it a part of your monetary system like in japan, you are regulating it for me
3103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What coin to mine if I have FREE Electricity? on: June 05, 2017, 08:14:33 PM
you can mine anything there is really too much profit now, if you have free electricity or 50 cent does not matter much now, a gpu can do $200 a month, it's insane mate believe me, take a look at whattomine
3104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins just another way of crowdfunding? on: June 05, 2017, 04:36:49 PM
Are altcoins just another way of crowdfunding? As an investor, this is my general view of most altcoins. I see it as more of an investment into business models that I feel will help shape our future as a society. What are your thoughts?

i see altcoin as the last resort, to acquire easily many bitcoin, before it's too late to get them, bitcoin will be more and more rare to get when the value will get higher, with altcoin you cna have now a very good return with a low investement, i also see them as the best investment now, with all of them growing at once, you can't go wrong lol
3105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What your favorite altcoin on: June 05, 2017, 04:34:31 PM
none of those in the poll lol, i like coins such bitcore and spreadcoin, bitcore keep what bitcoin can't do now, segwit plus big block, spreadcoin, is aimign at full decentralization, i also like Zcash, their anonymity is good, better than monero for some aspects, i would like ETH more if it was not going to full pos, i hope will never do it
3106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or Investing? on: June 05, 2017, 04:32:19 PM
I am having 10 Bitcoins right now, I am a gambler but never did both of those mentioned: Trading / Investing.
Which option should i proceed with? A small guideline will help me alot.

~ TheBitcoinSoldier.

investing in mining if you can is very remunerative now, good profit on every coin, or be the pumper and invest in some cheap coin, Verge is rising you can invest there, it's a good pump and dump coin, trading is the same as investing when done with altcoin, you can do good with low value coin, under 1000 satoshi is my target when i invest for trading
3107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn free altcoins like ether or anyothers ? on: June 05, 2017, 04:30:31 PM
I am quite interested in earning some free coins other than bitcoins, any of them. Please tell me how

look for airdrop or look for coins that can let you connect bitcoin address and earn many fo them like bitcore, byteball and stellar lumens, airdrop now i see only picoin, but it's not worth much
3108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XVG] Verge - Speculation & Discussion on: June 05, 2017, 04:28:00 PM
You think that it is real 4500satoshi?  Shocked

4500 satoshi seems too much for this, i think this coin can have the same fate of DGB, both started very low and increased fast, 2k satoshi like DGB is a good estimate for the future value of this coin, i'm trying to hold now and see what happen, was a bargian to buy at 50 satoshi but i missed that
3109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to know if a gambling site is a scam or not? on: June 05, 2017, 04:26:20 PM
It's pretty easy to know. You just need to play in a trusted place. Besides you have to do a search how the credibility of website gambling. Everything you can find on the internet, most importantly do not easily attracted by various lucrative promotions from the new gambling website.

not always easy when some website, build their trust to scam later, i see this behaviour, very frequently now, they first make you think they are trusted with low amount and then they scam you with big amount deposited, it's better to look at many review before investing in anything
3110  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Purchases on: June 05, 2017, 04:18:19 PM
I have some bitcoins and found a secure way to keep them. What do I do with them now?

if you bought them just hold when there is better value that you like you can use them for shopping or keep them forever, or just use them now on the internet, you can buy things with bitcoin like with fiat, there is a decentralized market called open bazar, that work like ebay but with bitcoin only, you can see if you can find somethign interesting there
3111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting Long Term Questions on: June 05, 2017, 01:36:32 PM
Hi,

I have the following questions. I need to read your opinions and recommendations. I have a buying horizon of 5 years.

1. What is the best exchange to buy ICOS?

2. What is the best "sub-penny"(below one cent) coin to buy right now and hold for the long term (3-5 years)

3. What would you choose for the long term? Litecoin or Ethereum Classic?

4. In what coins are the most banks involved?

I appreciate your answers.

bittrex is often considered oen fo the best for ico and swap coin, for the long term i would onyl buy strong market coin, like zcash eth lbry, this respond to your third question as well, for the last question there are not such coins involved with a bank
3112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Coins - where does their value come from? on: June 05, 2017, 09:51:20 AM
Bitcoin and simular coins for payments, I understand.

But for other coins, I can see the why the technology is useful, but how do the coins/tokens benefit of this?
For example Ripple, I see the value of the technology, so assuming all banks at some stage will use them. How is XRP benefitting of this?

Another example Golem, understand the technology of a global super computer. But how will the GNT benefit of global usage? Am sure I am missing something, thanks a lot for helping me out!

value increase because people think that value will increase lol, it's sound stupid but this is the sole reason why all the altcoin are increase, people are greedy and want more easy money, they jump from oen altcoin to another until they can get a huge return, it's all gambling now and blinding throwing money everywhere hoping for that coin to be pumped, i think now there are many naive investors that don't know what to buy and are buying everything
3113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this an Error or a 51% attack? on: June 05, 2017, 09:49:11 AM
most likely a bug or exploit, why someone should do a 51% attack to a coin that have no value and kill his own possible profit? this is very stupid and no one will do it, doing a 51% also is not very easy you need a private network and a strong hahsrate and you need that the coin is on exchange so you can do double spending
3114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are You looking for x10 x100 return in a months? on: June 05, 2017, 09:46:13 AM
verge is a very good one,  know it was going to increase, ivnestors are wise they are aiming for very cheap coin, to pump them high, these coins are very easy to pump, so take a look at another cheap coin, if you want great return, but you should also take a look at the potential, not all the shit coin below 100 satoshi have the potential for a pump, bytecoin could be the next
3115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most promising 50 satoshi or below coins on: June 05, 2017, 09:44:29 AM
Like the title says, what are the most promising 50 satoshi or below coins? With reasons why.

Coin name - reason

I bought in with xvg when it was lower so im pleased atm.

you lost the train on verge, it was below 50 satoshi now 250, and it's rising, ic an't see many other potential coin below that rate, i can only think of fastcoin infinitecoin and mooncoin, all the other are already above that, you can look at new coin maybe
3116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What item provide fastest ROI? on: June 04, 2017, 05:05:59 PM
1080ti  Cool fast ROI at zcash

The ROI on a single 1080 TI at $650 each is 3 months running 24/7 with no downtime.

https://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/zcash-mining-calculator/?h=700&p=250&pc=0.10&pf=0.00&d=2351899.59031740&r=10.00176152&er=0.09557888&btcer=2594.03120000&hc=650

The $190 PNY GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Graphics Cards can do 23.5mh ETH and 268 SOL/s ZEC each @ ~60W per card.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uhSfOpvHks&feature=youtu.be&t=7295

The ROI on the card for Zcash is less than 2 months currently. Tough to beat if you can get it for less than $200.

https://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/zcash-mining-calculator/?h=265&p=60&pc=0.10&pf=0.00&d=1941897.72385156&r=10.00064000&er=0.09776000&btcer=2586.01160000&hc=0.00

i can roi much early with skein mining DGB, i can get $400 or more per month, and do roi in two months, don't mine zcash is not so profitable, while it's stable it leave things to be desire versus other much better pfotiable coin
3117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give your child/ren a bright future! on: June 04, 2017, 02:39:57 PM
I think two bitcoins per child should be enough for them who are going to be a parent in this year. One bitcoin would help them to complete their studies and other living necessities and another one would help them to buy a house and vehicles. I am considering the picture of 15+ years when they will be mature enough and bitcoin would have the 100X price.

Not a bad suggestion either but will you prefer your kids work for their own money or you want to fend for them after you're old. I think the best is to cater for their education and let them continue the rest so for me 1 BTC per child is okay.

Yeah, since I know that bitcoin's price that time will be that high for us to just give them 2 bitcoin just to be use on their study. But don't you think that it would be better if you are going to teach them about it so, they could have more money and also us. Although we have to consider the opinion of our children if they want to learn this stuff or what.
LOL. Giving the money the children is not a good idea and it will make them become badder. Just try to teach them how to use bitcoin and give them a small amount of bitcoin. Not the whole 2 bitcoin like that. Give them 0.1 bitcoin is better
That's not necessarily bad, but if you give them money freely, you will create bad habits for them, and when they grow up, they will waste money, for the kids, we Pay attention to them in the best way, teach them how to save money.

i agree on this, it's the same logic behind giving people bitcon for free, they will dump and forget about bitcoin, it's better to make them buy on the market and help the market grow, or force them to acquire via other ways, and help bitcoin getting more popular
3118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The most expensive coin in 2017? on: June 04, 2017, 02:38:36 PM
byteball, people really like this coin, because it's absurd the value it has now, this coin can be dumped for free if you link your big address of bitcoin, but still is increasing nicely, and the supply is also very big, so one wonder why the value is so big for no reason, also no mining, which is not something i like, but the project look fresh this is nice at least
3119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between ZCash, ZClassic and ZenCash? on: June 04, 2017, 02:36:18 PM
The question is in the title.

I wonder what the difference between ZCash, ZClassic and ZenCash is? All three projects seem to be related or based on the same code base, right?

zcash is the original project, zcash classic is the project of zcash without the dev fee of 2 coins per block that will go to the dev for the first 4 years, zencash is just a fork of these coins with the same algorithm, but there is no mining apparently
3120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's wrong with you people?! on: June 04, 2017, 02:33:55 PM
the ico trend will reverse when all those ico escrows start releasing funds and teams are gonna cash in their crowdfunds.

seems that people didn't learn form their mistake, i guess they are stupid, it's unbelievable how many are still buying shitty ico with fake face and possible scam, with no purpose other than taking away your money, i don't know if this is worse than those smart contract project that are overwhelming the market more than ico itself, and are all based on ETH, aren't people tired of the same shit?
