I tagged the bounty manager -- if he cares about his reputation here then he'll address the issue. He also runs the Prophecy ANN thread, which is still on its first page.
I also took a peek at the Telegram group. It's just the usual bland chatter about moon, mars and millions. One interesting thing I noticed was that The APOLLO guy deleted some of his posts that you screenshotted, specifically the one about the bounty hunters being paid.
hello, i just checked this thread, and i see that you gives me a negative trust. let me make it clear, i have never get in touch with the team, as i posted below my post that all the reward is taken care by the team, not by me. the team request me to send the spreadsheet to them which i did so, and after that i have nothing to take care about. if the team said that they wanted me to distribute the token they should given all the token to me, but i receive nothing. Somehow I missed your response and it might be too late but given the circumstances I'm removing my red trust on your account. Quite honestly I wouldn't trust your judgment in choosing projects after this. Then again I don't really care about such bottom-of-the-barrel shit tokens, just surprised anybody still has interest in them after getting burned so many times. The neutral rating by FatFork is good enough.

So, just to be clear as much as possible. 1- They move all their USDT "payments' through instant exchanges for better laundering results/ confuse or erase traces/ keep anonymity? 2- Does Binance knows or had informed that scammers move funds through an account on their platform to show that they are legit? 3- These serious wallets have any kind of relationship with any other scamming activity? Maybe they had a tag or some tokens that might provide us their "identity"?
Sorry if my questions might sound foolish but I believe that it must be a pattern that they follow, a kind of strategy in order to get as much as they can to their pocket and show that they repay their clients...
The guy with the shady website has a point in that distributing a few grand in USDT is a pretty poor effort, considering they are supposedly on the hook for a billion+ dollars (though like most exchanges, their volumes were artificially inflated, and a lot of the coins they claimed to have weren't actually there). I think there's motives at work here we're unaware of (they do not include wanting to actually reimburse their customers).. They are sending USDT to a lot of different places. So far I've seen: - Uniswap - Binance - Poloniex - ChangeNOW There's a chance they sprinkle in some real recipients from time to time, maybe the ones for $19 LOL, those dumb enough to actually submit all the personal documentation required to get a refund. Its a consolation prize for being so thoroughly buggered.

I sent DireWolfM14 the invite link and they have joined the league so we are half way there already. Nice, I will update the list. Would have been a bonehead move to forget the thread creator. And I believe we are tentatively full. Have those users on green color shown interest on joining the league? If so I could send them the invite link.
Yes, please do. I forgot to mention that part.

Hello, I confirm that I received the first 50% of my payout from Livecoin.news (exchange). My ID on LIVECOIN is : ivanbgd Here is transaction hash: 0xdf6e4f6b101576b6e6e20ef72eeb77fb02fa21b9f6a976aaf191c5aca30d0e88 I am expecting the other 50% of my funds. I'll keep you update when I will receive it.
Livecoin is cashing out their funds through ChangeNOW. All USDT from this transaction moved straight into one of their transactions, as this is their main USDT address: 0x3cd751e6b0078be393132286c442345e5dc49699 https://www.reddit.com/r/ChangeNOW_io/comments/nhdaff/funds_not_received_after_failed_exchange/Hi PinkGlobal, I am Ivan and I am a member of the staff.

As far as a buy-in goes, I think something between 0.001 ($32.75) and 0.0015 ($49.15) would be good. If we did 0.0015 then the winner could get 0.01 and the runner-up 0.002 (minus tx fees). I also don't want to exclude anyone so 0.001 is fine... If its zero then peeps might not care as much and give up, which makes it less fun for everyone else. But if it means we lose a lot of people then free it is.

Cases where outright theft can be easily proved should result in moderation, IMHO. I know: who decides what "theft" is and what "easily proved" means... its a dilemma but uh, waiting for a definitive legal judgment (from the U.S. no less) before actually deciding to ban somebody, lock their threads and edit/delete their posts may be waiting a step too long sometimes.
I've never really bought the rationale "We don't moderate scams because we don't want to create a false sense of security."
People share links with malware, virus-ridden wallet clients or whatever regularly. When caught, they get banned pretty quickly, but I don't think anybody here has a false sense of security because they do. We realize there are inherent dangers in clicking shady looking things (most of us).

And 0 in value, i wonder how they got onto Coinmarketcap.
Err... The vast majority of coins on coinmarketcap have zero value and the price will follow accordingly after this latest "buy anything crypto" phase has come to an end (it is actually already nearing the end). I suspect there will be a lot of bloodshed in the upcoming months; particularly among coins with no inherent utility and that are only here to ride the wave. Afterward, the crypto world will be cleansed of impurities (sort of) and the cycle will begin anew.

Okay so here's some pretty good evidence the refund is a ruse. This account has received 2 distributions for the same amount, the first was 20 days ago and the last was 2 days ago. Yet they say they are requesting their "remaining 50% balance"... which they have already been paid. They even mentioned it: Hello to everyone, I confirm that I received the first 50% of my money (1610 USDT) from http://Livecoin.news (exchange). I'm waiting for the other 50% of my money. thank you Here is TxHash: 0x75a5e31e3b45aca01e565c203a0a815e38193e22a9e02181dbcea9152c42b4fa So... he forgot he already got paid or what?

Not visiting your website again, sorry. I suggest people stay away from it actually. Certainly don't enter any sensitive information there. I don't buy that this is a real distribution, if only a tiny fraction of what is owed to customers. Not a single account or person with any reputation anywhere has received any funds from them. And instead of taking "over a billion dollars," its much more likely Livecoin was insolvent and performed this last ditch KYC-grabbing exit scam to make just a little bit more money on the way out.

For those interested PM for the invite link.
Sure, consider me interested and thanks for taking the initiative. I'm not picky about the exact specifications... perhaps we just leave everything as default as possible in the interest of remaining neutral. I'm also pretty open for what people want to do for a prize, or not. I remembered why I didn't want to play last year: i'm in, if you guys will have me. i'm pretty flexible re live draft and also fine with an auto draft.

Well Dan I learned a lot more about this than I ever cared to and most of what you have to say sounds pretty reasonable. There's a fair amount of companies registered between you and Paul Stewart so it was hard to know exactly what companies you were referring to without saying them by name. What it comes down to was you were developing infrastructure and leaving positive reviews for a Ponzi scheme that had been exposed as such more than a year prior. however at the start of the project I was not in a position to perform due diligence and it wasn't my role to do so.
It's always your role to do so. You should do it for your damn self to prevent stuff like this from happening again in the future. Having said that, it sounds like you sincerely tried to make amends. Sorry you were asked for a bribe during your short Bitcointalk experience but scam projects attract scammer participants, what can I say.

Ultimately its like this: Whether or not this guy knew he was helping to build a scamcoin is irrelevant. Even if he wasn't in on it, he exhibits extremely poor judgment when choosing projects as a developer, and I would not have confidence in whatever he did going forward. The only actual difference is the legal liability part. MultiBuy, the company that apparently hired our friend here, had been exposed as a MLM/Ponzi scheme well over a year before he would have been approached to build the coin and lead the community, or whatever he did on Telegram. I worked for a company that had a contract to build MB8 Coin. He did more than that, and I would say this is beyond "offering support": I just worked as an employee. The contract was between the companies not me personally. Not true. He was also the co-owner of the company hired to develop the coin: Feb 2021 newsletterRocketing Ltd is owned and managed by Paul Stewart and Daniel Potts, key staff now employed with Rocketing Ltd that had previously worked together on the MB8 Coin Project. Not a whole lot about Paul Stewart, other than previous MultiBuy clients weren't impressed with the way Blockchain Scotland (a former company founded by both Stewart and Potts) handled the MB8Coin ICO. https://behindmlm.com/mlm-reviews/multi-buy-world-review-e50-eur-adcredit-ponzi-with-e-commerce/Oliverj: The chief business officer for Multibuy/blockchain Scotland Paul stewart appears to have gained his qualifications from running a tv and electrical repair business (btvc electrical) now in liquidation and owing money to customers, some of his former employees also appear to have gone up in the world, the appliance repair manager is now a crypto ico sales representative.. from kettles to crypto…
Glyn: You are correct on this point BTVC electrical was a family business specializing in domestic and industrial repair (a google search reveals all) that went into liquidation around November2018 with both Stewart brothers and sister on the payroll.
all three are now on the books of Blockchain Scotland a company set up in 2017 with nothing in the way of a track record regarding crypto experience..
strange how Multibuys payment problems with the add packs in 2107 coincide with the formation of blockchain Scotland the so called brains behind the exit scam MB8 coin ico. According to Dan, Rocketing Ltd has been dissolved (though it is still listed as an active company). Both Dan and Paul Stewart are now part of a newer company called Cryptopal. What does Cryptopal do? They facilitate the purchase of MB8Coin (a scam) using credit cards and wire transfer. And mind you, this is of Feb. 14th 2021, the date of the newsletter. To be fair, the website is down. Maybe it occurred to Dan it was a bad idea to sell a scamcoin for fiat. Did our buddy have a genuine change of heart and legit wants to clear his name, start his career anew and this time on the side of good? Let's hope so.

As with everything else in this accusation, the $70 million figure is out of context. $70 million is the peak value of the ICO proceeds at ETH's highest price. The ICO had a hard cap of $21 million which was raised well ahead of deadline. It concluded on April 23 or 24, but then the team extended "bonus funding rounds" which apparently brought the total raised to "above $50 million" by May 1st. The price of ETH (most of the funds were raised in ETH) went up almost a thousand dollars between May 1st and May 8th. https://micky.com.au/student-coin-ico-hits-50-million-in-70-days-what-is-behind-the-hype/On May 25th, the day this thread was opened, ETH had retraced back to its May 1st price. That means the ICO amount was $70 million only at ETHs peak. Regardless, without posting the contract contents between the coin team and the bounty manager, this just looks like an extortion attempt to cash in on a successful project. Clearly Bounty Detective was hoping to use sympathy from the Bitcointalk community as leverage (that idea already sounds stupid as I type it) for what appears to be an extortion scheme. Coin teams need to pay more attention to the quality of work that precedes the bounty manager's reputation if they want to avoid issues like this. I would pay zero attention to what a bounty manager says and 100% attention to what they have demonstrated they can do.

I've just been asking to be removed from any reference to the coin.
So, your trying to remove any reference to your participation in previous scams so your future scams don't suffer bad PR before they can start scamming. You probably thought that was a very clever idea when you first had it. What happened instead is you just informed everyone on the forum that Dan Potts is a scammer. Thanks for the warning, before this thread was bumped I has no clue who Dan Potts was. I was thinking about it and this would be a clever way to pile dirt on somebody's reputation... I guess we won't know until we hear what he has to say about it. FWIW Dan I'm willing to hear out what you have to say, maybe there's an explanation we haven't considered.

Sorry i will not disclose my ETH address here. but i can confirm that the payments came from this address: https://etherscan.io/address/0xf99dddd7153b9f2ed44d41429ede1ab71232aee0as you see there were some payments 14 days ago, and there are still 500k USD left to distribute I could not do a calculation, as the site was hacked and never opened again. so i can not say what my last balances were. i have old screenshots and can do estimations - but i do not know for sure. They just sent me an USD amount and no further screenshots or calculations. but it should be in the right dimension if i did not forget anything.. ( ~ 1000 USD ) Your post is even less believable than the 1-post bots that at least have the courtesy to provide a tx ID. You woke up after 2 years just to comment on what standup guys Livecoin are, right? Without a TX ID or proof that you are the original owner of this account (which you are most certainly not), there's no reason to take you seriously.

Yesterday football season seemed so far away Now it looks as if its the same way Can't believe football's still far away.
Don't want to hear about alternate leagues or other sports. If its not NFL, its trash. That's my new hot take. Except for some heavyweight division boxing and MMA competitions, those are a-ight. Sometimes.
...
Should we attempt to do a Forum Fantasy League this year? We can make it a whole thing. I think someone was running one last year in this section... but they probably wouldn't mind if we did one as well.

both are stating they are buying the same thing therefor they are one and the same users.
This is some pretty dumb logic for issuing a tag. I want to buy a toaster, and theymos wants to buy a toaster, too. Now we're the same person? I've also asked for PayPal before. Better issue me a red tag too. Hurry up, chop chop. This is the Currency Exchange section. What did you think goes on in here?

All I am doing is googling Daniel Potts MB8 Coin and trawling through to find where I am mentioned, what for and trying to close it off and move on. If that is the wrong thing to do, then forgive me. But to be very clear here I have stood by this project all the time until about 2 months ago when a lot came to light that has previously been masked. That is why I am cutting ties now. Had I known earlier it would have just happened earlier.
You didn't know MB8 was an MLM scheme? Those always end poorly for the majority of participants. Loss is an inescapable outcome. What is it that you hope to move on to after this? MB8 was accused of being a Ponzi long before MB8Coin was a thing. https://behindmlm.com/mlm-reviews/multi-buy-world-review-e50-eur-adcredit-ponzi-with-e-commerce/Whatever may or may not have existed prior to late 2016 clearly has nothing to do with Multibuy World’s current MLM offering.
Said offering is unfortunately nothing more than an adcredit Ponzi scheme. New Multibuy World affiliates sign up and invest, with those invested funds used to pay off existing investors (Multibuy World call it “revenue sharing”). This was published and floating around the web waaaay before MB8Coin ever came into existence. You didn't want to perform the slightest due diligence before throwing your supposed "reputation" behind this project? I for one would not trust any project you attached your name to. It's also weird that the MB8Coin profile scrubbed their post history around the same time you created an account here. You decided to work with criminals. You bear the outcome.
