3101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free crypto possible ? Or impossible? on: December 24, 2022, 09:54:24 PM
Ok i can perform the tasks If i can earn enough but where is the real websites too much talking but need action and results not just promeses.
Any referal kind of projects If we can get little as 50$ daily it's good for start.
There isn't such websites where you can earn 50$ daily. With some luck you can earn 5$ daily or so, but that is working all day long in determined tasks like downloading games from Offer-Toro in offer-walls and completing the required goals. The best site where you can do this is through Cointiply, as far as I know.

Besides that you will find the bounty campaigns, but in my opinion they are even worse, because you don't know how much you are being paid for completing tasks, since they pay you in unknown tokens that sometimes don't even have a price or an exchange where you can sell them.
3102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free crypto possible ? Or impossible? on: December 24, 2022, 04:54:17 PM
You can't expect free crypto to come in large chunks. It doesn't exist, because people don't give money for free.

You have to perform tasks to earn crypto, and faucets are one of the methods to earn crypto in small amounts by solving captchas and watching ads. It's not free anyway, because you are spending your time and effort on those tasks in order to be rewarded. Another idea is to download games apps on your smartphone which reward you for reaching certain goals and levels inside the game. These offers are part of offer-walls from faucets and pay better than the usual faucets' hourly claims.

If you want to earn more, you have to work somehow to acquire money. It's suggested you study the reality of the area where you live, so you can work on something profitable and demanded by the people there.

If a person doesn't realize that "gambling" as a word means you could lose, then they shouldn't gamble to begin with. I mean I have seen so many people cry here to thequin, even before that saw people cry to wetsuit as well, when they lose and that's just too funny. I have literally seen people who cried about how they shouldn't have gambled and they promise to never gamble again but the money they gambled and lost was for something important and if they don't get it back then something bad will happen etc etc. Sorry mate but this is gambling and you decided to do it. I play purely for fun, its like computer game to me, and I have fun and spend like maybe 1-2 games worth money here and have fun, that's it.
People complain because they thought they were playing safely by using a strategy that can deliver long term results and seems impossible to make them lose money, as they think long loss streaks aren't going to happen for being very unlikely. Then they risk all their money, since the risk is apparently low. Inevitably after few or many gambling sessions, depending the luck of the gambler, the long loss streak comes and they feel astonished for seeing that happening. It's the first shock collusion between illusion and reality which drives many gamblers to claim mercy from the casino, as there is nothing left to do... Tongue
3104  Other / Off-topic / Re: SCALONI A TIME TRAVELER 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀 AND SOME LORE BEHIND ARGENTINA CHAMPION on: December 24, 2022, 02:31:43 AM
I do enjoy these kinds of posts, but in a really trivial way -- problem is I'd enjoy them BEFORE a tournament where you might have brought it up before the World Cup, and every Argentina win (and eventual titles) could carry bets based entirely on the Time Traveller strategy Wink
Yes, it would have been great to know all those coincidences before the World Cup happened. There were so many hidden signals indicating Argentina was the chosen one for the victory. It all mean the perfect alignment of the stars to give Messi the title he was waiting since the beginning of his career. By reading all those points I guess the result couldn't be different.

If someone points out decent coincidences like this for a next tournament, I'm going to place some bets based on it. At least, it seems more accurate than the traditional analyzes that lead many gamblers to losses this World Cup.

How this is related to gambling discussion?

So where should the topic be?
It's a football related topic that's talking about a football manger. If this kind of topic is not in gambling discussion then where should it be? He's clearly talking about the coincidences with what happened this year and what happened other years that Argentina won the world cup which is definitely a gambling discussion topic.
Maybe Off-Topics?
3105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People who holds 1+ Bitcoin, how does it feel to hold in bear market? on: December 24, 2022, 12:11:51 AM
It feels monotonous because the prices are stagnant. You can do nothing besides waiting for the next bull run, but at same time you have the feeling things are going to improve at some point, so it somehow gives hope to your life regards the financial aspect. Holding during the bearish market is a constant mental fight with yourself to remain patient and hopeful, while not getting upset and angry due to the crypto scammers who are just making this bearish season last longer, besides making investors lose a lot of money. Honestly, I don't know if it feels too different from holding less than 1 bitcoin...
3106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Few Days To Christmas - How Are You Preparing? on: December 23, 2022, 11:19:49 PM
There is no problem in spending a little bit more during special dates, but of course it's not an excuse to burn all your bitcoin holdings without thinking on the future. For those who live alone it must be easier to keep holdings intact during Christmas, but for those who are going to stay with their families it's not possible to not spend with them. Life is too short and we need to enjoy the good times with the people we love. We never know when it's going to be our last Christmas, so better to make sure the currently one is going to be the best of all.
3107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no cool games on: December 23, 2022, 08:38:50 PM
Almost as a whole, all types of games that involve betting are designed to be as simple and attractive as possible just to spoil their users. Remember, most casino games are not made for the skill level of their users. or pitting user skills with other users.  although there are some games that involve skill, such as poker which requires skill, insight, memory and involves several people who play it. however, almost all types of gambling games are designed as simple as possible but still interesting. gambling games are different from PC games or mobile games that are often played by teenagers or young people, such as winning eleven for example or Call of Duty or maybe mortal kombat.

The types of games that involve betting, always involve gamblers and the dealer. whether it's slot machines, dice, roulette, baccarat, or so on. I'm not sure the ideas you put forward will be adopted by casino businessmen. except, if there are innovations and breakthroughs that are more up-to-date. even then, if well received by the market. even so the possibility is still there, but we do not know when it can be realized.
The kind of betting he is talking about should belong to e-sports category, which is similar to sports betting, but instead of betting on real sports events, he wants to bet in multiplayer games. That is something which already exists, but its impact on the gambling industry is minimal, since those games aren't so popular nowadays and the mix between gaming and gambling isn't efficient. Most gamblers still don't engage themselves in video-game bets, as they prefer traditional casino games and sports bets. It has been a tough barrier on the adopt of e-sports among gambling enthusiasts.

I think if we were in the 90', when those Arcade machines were popular, but connected to the internet, there should be better chances the "cool games" OP mentioned could be taken seriously by the gambling community.
3108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this a good plan at all? on: December 23, 2022, 07:52:59 PM
I think it's not a good idea. Casinos don't like gamblers using VPNs to mask their origin and it might be used as an excuse to deny you a withdrawal or block your account futurely. If you want to gamble anonymously choose a site which clearly allow you to play anonymously. If you play at a casino where they want to know your location and your ID, you have to accomplish with their demands, otherwise it's suggested to avoid this casino. But never try subverting the rules stated by them. Do yourself this favour and avoid a lot of unecessary headaches...
3109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why every casino got bad habits? on: December 23, 2022, 05:48:24 PM
therefore, until the moment the gambler has won some good amount that he would like to withdraw from the casino, he is not faced with the fact that the casino will scam him.

I will put the blame on users in that particular situation. Why in the first place that a user still push and continue to play on that site despite being not aware of the site's reputation? If that case happened to a reputable site, in most cases users are the one who commits the mistake unintentionally but that should be properly detailed to the complainant, and won't just close the account without explanation.

Scams site are everywhere and their existence will be forever as there are always users that will end up as prey.

It's really mandatory that the necessary adjustment should be done by us to prevent from being scammed.
In this case the gambler is the only one to be blamed. When we wish to start using an online service or platform, which will demand money from our pockets, we have to check the reputation of the website before depositing. Everyone who respect their own money will act like this. And it's not that hard to find a casino like 1xbit has serious reputation issues dragging on along the years. By spotting such problems with high incidency and no replies or solutions from the support team in public forum posts and reviews' comments sections, the gambler just have to find for an alternative crypto casino. And there are so many disponible...
3110  Other / Off-topic / Re: Has your budget for gambling been affected by the festive season? on: December 23, 2022, 05:32:11 PM
Festive seasons always impact gambling budget, because doesn't matter how organized you are, you always end spending more money with friends and relatives due to the festivals. We want to be close to our families and to proportionate them good times, so it's really hard to not purchase gifts for them and more food and drinks for everyone. And when there are events nearby we also spend more by going to these places. Then this money must come from somewhere in order to do these activities, and if there is an idle gambling budget waiting, that is where the funds for the festive season are coming from...
3111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online casinos disadvantage some locations from winning big on: December 23, 2022, 02:08:18 AM
You know how casinos have set certain slots to only pay a certain amount to a winner, it it also possible that casinos are using an algorithm to limit how much it can payout for players coming from certain locations to avoid being dragged into legal disputes if a player is paid big money and the local authorities want to know the source and the alike?
I think something like this isn't impossible in informatics. If the programmer wants to add this rule to the code, he can. However, I think it's not interesting for the casino to do this. It doesn't make much sense to say the truth. If someone is going to have issues with authorities it's going to be the gambler, not the casino, because it's the gambler who has obligations with the local regulators when declaring how much money he is making in a yearly basis. Moreover, most slots games are provided by third party services to casinos' platforms, so casinos would need a partnership why such services in order to boycott players from determined countries, what is really unlikely and compromising for the services providers' reputation on the industry as a whole.
3112  Other / Off-topic / Re: Be The Judge... on: December 22, 2022, 08:59:27 PM
In this case who do you think is at fault, who make the mistake?
Is it the game shop that allowed the gambler play from an unsettled winning?
Or is it the gambler who gambled too much and refused to believe that he has gambled all his unsettled winning away?

Let's discuss and you be the judge.
How can we judge this case if we don't know what really happened? We have the word of the gambler versus the word of the shop attendant, but we don't have how to know who is telling the truth. The casino may be the cheater one which took advantage of the proposal made by the gambler of playing with the non-paid prize, or the gambler may be the cheater one, who is too addicted to control his expenses with his game session, losing control over his gambling activity and sacrificing his winnings without seeing it. Anyway, it's tricky the casino claims the man was owing 5$. It really sounds like a joke. As soon as the entire prize of the man was used by him, he should have been warned before they started counting debt on his account.
3113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should your wife or husband know your seed phrase? on: December 22, 2022, 07:13:33 PM
I will like to ask the Men here if they have shared their seed phrase with their wife's?
When you have already lived some situations and acquired enough experience, you see it's not that easy to share something so important and valuable. One day the person by your side say and promise the most wonderful things and make you believe in everything, disarming all your defenses, but on the next day she acts completely on the opposite way, as it was an impostor, instead of the person you initially met.

Then you have to be very careful if you really want to give her access to your money, especially bitcoin, which won't let you revert transactions in any hypothesis after it's done. If it was a simple bank account it wouldn't be a big issue, since it's centralized and you can call your manager to assist you in case you are stolen and need to retrieve and track funds.
3114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is crypto staking? Is staking worth it? on: December 22, 2022, 06:05:15 PM
Staking revealed itself to be a extremely risky investment. Many tokens staked by investors have their prices manipulated by developers, especially the native ones from exchanges. So, besides the risks mentioned on this thread's main post, there is also the risk exchange's operators use customers' funds (your money) to pump the price of the native token, reaching to a point where the platform crashes, since there isn't enough money anymore to fulfill with their obligations and maintain the withdrawals going on.
It depends on what you decide to invest in. Not all smart contracts are the same; the risk may vary depending on the coins the vault is comprised of, the platform, or the yield. There were actually a few decent options featuring BNB and/or BUSD that provided a decent APY. If you do your research and choose vaults that don't involve shitcoins no one knows about, there's a decent chance your investment will thrive. It really varies on what type of investor you are; some decide that it's best to buy Bitcoin or Ethereum, while others may stick to staking. Whatever floats your boat
Due to the mentioned risk when staking altcoins, I prefer to invest bitcoin for interest income, as it's constantly growing in value along the time, while with altcoins we don't have the same assurance. However, the recent events in crypto market have made me retreat from this kind of investment, because even if the currency you are investing isn't compromised, the platform might be, and that was the case with Celsius, FTX, Voyager and many others... The currency and the APY offered are pretty decent, but the platform isn't and unfortunatelly I've lost money this way.
3115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very thankful for what bitcoin has done for me. on: December 21, 2022, 10:03:48 PM
The opportunities bitcoin plus this forum have opened for dozens and maybe hundreds of people is unspeakable. Thanks to this we don't even have to imagine how would be the lives of those people if bitcoin and bitcointalk forum didn't exist. We should be really thankful for being on the right place at the right time, especially the earliest adopters of bitcoin, who discovered it and started investing since the beginning, when bitcoin priced few hundreds of dollars. That is an opportunity that doesn't happen twice in someone's life, I guess.
3116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which kind of situation will force you to sell? on: December 21, 2022, 09:46:19 PM
What kind of situation do you think is enough to pressure you in seeling some of the bitcoins you have been holding. Is family or health challenge enough reason to?
Next ATH would be the ideal situation for me to sell my holdings. I've waited for too long already and looking for what bitcoin has already passed, I feel regretful for not selling on the last bull run which pushed btc to almost 70,000$. This market, like any financial speculative market, is too dirty and I'm tired of being on the hands of the whales, since they are the ones who manipulate prices and screw up every other investors around.

I'm not going to give up bitcoin, but I think it's time to give more importance to another sectors of my personal life, instead of relying everything on bitcoin.

3118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of People Will Lose Crypto in Self Custody on: December 20, 2022, 07:59:12 PM
He make sense and we've been telling people that it's best to keep their crypto assets to a non custodial wallet, wherein they have the full control of their funds.

That doesn't make sense at all, how can he say that 99% of people will lose their crypto to non-custodial wallets, that's just too much. He is simply concerned that more people will become aware of the security of their assets and prefer to secure their assets in their own non-custodial wallets and that Binance will lose out on their potential customers. And is holding assets on Binance safer than non-custodial wallets? nothing guarantees that.
I agree that the number he gave is a bit exaggerated, but there is nothing to blame because he is the CEO of a centralized exchange, and he is just doing what he needs to do, if we sit in the position that we will do the same thing.

It can be said that risk exists everywhere, storing funds on a centralized exchange, we do not have full access to our assets. But if we leave them in a non-custodial wallet, if not stored carefully it also leads to loss.
I think everyone who have a decent chunk of money in bitcoin stored in a self custody wallet won't be negligent to lose access to their funds. Maybe some small investors who have few hundreds of dollars in bitcoin won't be so careful like the big investors, so there is indeed a risk they are going to lose their crypto by not storing the secret words and wallet device properly, but they don't correspond to 99% of investors anyway.

CZ tries to spread to crypto community it's dangerous to use cold wallets, while in fact, it's more dangerous to use his services. He is trying to invert the situation on this case.
3119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters, how much you really earned in the last two years? on: December 20, 2022, 07:20:32 PM
Some bounty hunters claimed to have made 100$-150$ yearly with bounties recently, but to reach a more precise conclusion, how long do they work to earn that sum of money? I guess it doesn't take an entire year to earn 100$-150$, right? Probably just few months. If that is really the case, these workers are still in a good position, because those amounts are really expressive and helpful for micro earners from poor countries.

On the other hand, if it really takes an entire year to earn only 100$, it's definitely going to be a waste of time, as it gives an average of less than 0,30$ daily for an intensive category of job.
3120  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: December 19, 2022, 08:55:45 PM
- What would you like to see?
Games which demand more skills and less luck from players in order to win. More competitive games to bet where analyzes matter for long term outcomes. If you could create strategy games to play PVP it would be great. So we could play against others, but also bet on the player we think it's going to win, if we don't want to play.

I believe to offer the same games every single platform is already offering is a waste of time and money right now. There are many active gamblers these days, but there is also a high number of casinos disponible. The proportion between supply and demand is pretty balanced. If you want to enter the industry you need to be creative, introducing something never seen before, like crypto enthusiasts did in previous years.
