If the casino is licensed, then they have certain obligations, and if they are not fulfilled, they will simply be blocked in the markets where they provide the service. It is also the to protect against money laundering and casino abuse.
That's what it is nowadays. But look at many casinos today, still, they won't ask for kyc as long as you're on the threshold that they've set and you're not obligated in providing them your identification unless they start asking so.
But as per experience, not all of them are like that and you're free to gamble wherever you are it's funny to think that some casinos are into web3 which is all about decentralization and yet, they're asking for some kyc. So, basically they just came in for the hype providing that they're a casino that has described themselves as web 3.0 but overall, they're not having the attitude of what it is to be.

most of them who are promoting web 3.0 are just riding the hype. but if you dig deeper, they are not practicing its true purpose. a lot of licensed casinos that you can find in this forum still don't require kyc. but definitely, if it is clearly stated in their terms, better prepare for it rather than pretending you don't know about such requirement. stick to the reputable casinos known to this forum and you won't encounter much trouble. a lot of members will also assist you if you have valid problem towards the site.
Yup.
It's what many have noticed about them. They're for the current trend and not really for the actual description of what that trend is all about.
The true thing about them is they just want to garner customers through it because it seems effective as marketing but eventually, they'll change their ways just as the normal way of a casino that implements their local rules.

Bitcoin is looking weak and that's not good for the Cryptocurrency makret.
Nothing new.
Whenever the market is in the bearish form, we'll only see that it's too weak because of the situation. Don't be surprised that it's down at these moments, no matter what the good news we have from the publishers.
Still, what's strong right now is the bear and they'll be like that for altcoins. Because whenever bitcoin is down, it's known that ETH and the other alts are also down as well.

Tongue

3106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE RIGHT TIME TO MOVE IN on: January 02, 2023, 10:53:06 PM
Another Bitcoin halving is expected to come in 2024. As it has been in the last two Bitcoin halving, the bull run follows. As we anticipate another Bitcoin halving, when is the right to buy in and stock up Bitcoin in order not to be left behind in the next bull market?
As early as now. As you're anticipating just as are we for the next bitcoin halving is followed by a bull run, then it means that you're still early for it. A year has to pass for us to see the halving so anytime before the actual date which is estimated May of 2024 or earlier is when it'll happen.
If you buy right now and have an expected price higher than it is today, then, you're too early for it. And you can do the DCA strategy until the next bull run is in.
3107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: January 02, 2023, 10:11:56 PM
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is perhaps the richest sportsperson in recorded history. He received a record $300 million for his last fight against McGregor, which none of the other sportsmen can dream about. The good thing about Floyd is that he never splurged his wealth or misspent it. He was careful with his money. And also, he never overstretched himself. He retired at the age of 40, when a lot of critics were of the opinion that he had at least 2-3 years left. Given all this, I don't think that anyone can accuse him of being money minded.
$300M for real? With a match against a professional athlete for other combat sports. That's totally a lot of money and contract for him. That's a big payday for him and he's certainly fits to the alias that he's got, Money.
I agree that Floyd in terms of his wealth, he knows how to handle it. People may see him boasting all about it but that's not the point, he's worked hard for it wherever and whatever his financial situation right now.

Yes mate, that's true! Floyd Mayweather Jr. earned a whopping $300 Million in his fight against Conor McGregor while the latter have earned $100 Million, I guess PPV shares are already included and computed along the reported figures. Somehow that figures doesn't surprise me anymore because Mayweather and McGregor is the stars and most controversial athletes in their respective sports, so surely, an impressive revenue will be generated upon their collision.

I have learned that it is Floyd's biggest paycheck, 2nd biggest is his fight against the legendary Manny Pacquiao that earned himself $250M.
Yeah, they're stars and that's a lot of money for him. As for Manny's fight and his, that's still whopping much money. Does anybody know how much the biggest paycheck that Manny has ever got? I know that they're also that much but I have no idea about the exact numbers.

I agree. I don't doubt Manny Pacquiao's talent but honestly fighting the current champions of 147 pounds? Seriously, he won't be getting out of that fight unscathed even if he will just fight the challengers below the line of Crawford and Spence. Pacquiao already has done so many things when he was still fighting professionally, there's no need to prove anymore that he can still give a good fight because body is not that sturdy anymore and I reckon that it's been years already since he had an intense training. It's much better for him to focus on exhibition fights where it's much safer and he can still earn millions per fight.
It's all about the promoter that's attaching the match on him. And he's just going to do whatever the deal is because he signed for it. The thing here is, it's all about money anymore while doing the sport that he's ever loved during all of those years that he's fighting for each win of it.
3108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Memecoin and utility - impossible or next stage of crypto development on: January 02, 2023, 09:52:12 PM
No doubt about building a community because most of them are successful in building one. Don't forget the OG of it which is the most popular of them all, Dogecoin.
The community of it has been there and then there goes shiba inu and the others too. I can say that their community is commendable even if we don't mostly like these meme coins. Those that have been part of it are happy and took all of the profits that they can. Investing a bit and then profiting with thousands percentage is one of the best thing that has ever happened to them.
The utility of it being part of the tipping community is one of its use but whether we like it or not, most of them are built upon hype.
3109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 02, 2023, 09:25:53 PM
I rarely bet on it but I get to see the updates of it from time to time on how much is the jackpot every time no one has won the combination of numbers.
Actually, it's an exciting thing these days because of how huge the pool and the jackpot is. Still, I'm not encouraged to bet on it because of how low my esteem I am and lost enthusiasm for it. I can't imagine myself winning that big and the chances are really low so, I just let the others bet on it and just waiting for someone or a group of people to hit the lucky numbers.
3110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 02, 2023, 08:52:28 PM
Yes, we're on our territory and all of us want to see them beat the Dragons. They are no doubt a strong guest team and if ever they win as the champs, this is part of the history already.
But, aside from that, we just wish the Gins to win against them so that we're not just being beaten up by a guest team. We just don't want to see it happen but if that does happens, then it's for the teams to upgrade and realize that there's more in their roster composition and there's a need for them to step up their game play.
Ginebra have to do everything to make Pinoy very proud, this could be a big challenge for them but winning the championship are possible, they just have to be more consistent on the remaining game because Bay Area is not turning back as well as they are serious on taking their first title in PBA. Both teams are doing great so far, the fans are more excited to see them playing and of course Ginebra is the favorite. I think if Ginebra wins the championship other team should prepare more because Ginebra proves again to be the best team to beat.
They know that they're not just fighting for this championship but also fighting for pride. That's why they're going to do their best in the upcoming games.
They don't want to be dominated by a guest team that they've been conquering for so many years. But just as I've said, if ever Dragons will become the champs on this one, they should step up and upgrade their game plays and the same goes to the trading style of other teams which has just become a farm team.
3111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron trx deflationary scenario halving and real estate Tron on: January 02, 2023, 08:16:13 PM
Tron is now widely used due to its low fee through USDT transactions for having its own protocol. But looking at the real estate as you've mentioned it. I don't think that it is something else that someone should have been too excited about. I have seen many projects conveyed interests and focus on real estate but none of them really took place and became known with that niche of their project. It's not really going to work on that side if ever Tron or any project keeps working to the side of the real estate, it's better to leave it as good as it is.

Can't blame other people to think that ginebra will struggle with their current opponent since look at what Dragons do on the whole series they really put some good numbers to dominate their opponents. And many pba fans really see that one as basis to them that they are underdog on this match up. But I want the Ginebra to win since this will be a huge for filipino fans if they see Ginebra surpass a big challenge and win a championship this season.
Yeah, they're the underdog for this finals but they've managed to get the first win and now, they're in a tie. The next game on Wednesday will give the advantage to whoever will win it. This is what I most like in a PBA final, everyone is taking care of themselves and despite injuries can't be gone in the entire series and games, still, most of them are doing their best to show the best that they can and at the same time, they're avoiding to be injured. Money's on the line, and we all want to see this 2-1 being led by Gins.

Gins got huge fan base on PBA so its expected that they got a lot of support from the fans also we can add up that many PBA fans want them to win since its like Philippines against foreign country. If they can beat up the Bay Area Dragons this is a huge pride for their organization since beating them is so difficult knowing how talented and tall their rooster are. They really need to avoid injuries since if one of their stars got that maybe this will lower down their chance to win the championship.

What a year-ender for you satoprincess! Smiley
The trend is growing for those forum members that also own a business and they're adopting bitcoin and accepting it as a payment. There's nothing to lose for you guys and you just have to embrace the payment method and while you are a bitcoin forum member, you have to apply what you're up to.
I am sure that there will be more forum members that has a business that will start to accept bitcoin for their every products and services that they offer.
Yeah mate, just this close to end year there are several thread created about their Businesses accepting bitcoin(if not altcoins) and this made us proud of them because extending payment accepting is one of the best help we can contribute in crypto adoption in the future.
It is nice of you Satoprincess .
That's all we can do if we own a business. There might be not that much demand at the moment but the time will come when most customers will see that banner of bitcoin acceptance for their shops and eventually, the number of customers that pays them with bitcoin will increase.
There will be more for sure as this year starts and we shall see that many of them becomes successful both with accepting cash/fiat and mostly, with bitcoin.
3115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 02, 2023, 07:06:31 AM
That's not new in boxing, there are really questionable judging, they say boxing is corrupt, then that explain the allegations. However, we are still here supporting the sport, so we should not complain, just accept the fact that sometimes things does not happen based on our expectation. If we search in youtube, you will find a lot of fights with controversial results.

If I'm not mistaken, there are boxing events and matches before where decisions were changed upon being reviewed.

Like, the losing side will file a complaint, the boxing board or councils will review it, then from there, announce the final results. Another one, the losing side won't bother to make a complaint but the board will still review the fight (like what happened to Casimero).

For long-time boxing enthusiasts there, I'm sure they have an idea about that.
Yeah, there have been cases like that. It's a petition and complaint that they believe that there's a wrong result to the match that has happened and that's why it has to be reviewed again.
It's not a problem for the boxing committee because they're open to any fairness that might affect their reputation. But these days, I rarely see it happen anymore as most of the losses and fights that happen were respected for the results.
But if there's really a need to review a fight, then the losing fighter has to put it up to the process while the boxer that has won should just wait until an investigation comes.

Those who've seen previous bear markets, survived several winters, please share some hope and courage.
This is not the end, right? Smiley
Just HODL.
Nothing will make you feel disappointed when the next bull run has come when you're just holding. You sell at the start of the bull run and you're in profit, there's no regret and neglect on it.
Buy while you see the prices are quite low right now and you'll never know if we're going to still see it drop that much low when the next bull arrives.
Don't lose your courage, we've been there and also were scared. Reading those negative thoughts about the market, they're normal but only those that have kept their trust and instincts about bitcoin remain.
3118  Economy / Gambling / Re: SVIP9 BC.game any value? on: January 01, 2023, 11:23:37 PM

Everyone will discourage you to sell that. Just keep on using it as it seems you really know a lot on how much you'll benefit from having it.
There's no other people that will be happy to have it but only you since you've worked hard for it and basically, how long does it takes to obtain that amount you've mentioned? If it's not that much then just don't sell but keep it.
Just like I have said before and as you have also made it clear oos is not going to get any offer in thos forum, since most members here are well aware of the implication of third-party ownership of an account.
And at that the account is worthless and no one will waste the time or resources taking source risk.
You have made the right suggestions to ops, the best ops can do is to continue to use his account since he is not going to get any offer here.
That's why he just has to use it and no need to sell it. Thinking of how much he has spent all over to reach that rank for his account.

...how long does it takes to obtain that amount you've mentioned? If it's not that much then just don't sell but keep it.

Well, for SVIP 9 we need a 20.5M XP, which means we need to wager $20.5M dollars... I guess some people can do that in less than a month (I saw one guy doing it, with +$1M wagering daily...). But it's not about how long it takes, it's more about how much money you lost along the way and does bonuses you got (and BC has a lot of bonus drops for people who wager a lot) cover all that and brings some profit.

By the way, I doubt that OP is the owner of this account in the first place.
That's a lot then, it's likely that someone who has worked and wagered for it that much will not sell it. Knowing the effort and money that has lost on it will never make him sell it.
Unless he really wants to sell it and just plainly accept all of those lost wagers that he had made. But thinking of all the efforts and bets he's made to reach that, is he really going to sell it that easily? And yes, likely he may not be the owner of it, and possibly that is just a commission sale if ever it goes successful.
3119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your opinion on the future of Decentralised exchanges on: January 01, 2023, 10:55:52 PM
yes, most important fact is kucoin doesn't require to ask kyc that is a big reason it is my most favorite exchange even sometime it is my first priority than binance. lowest transaction fees and opportunity to trade minimum 5$, it’s right peoples still trust centralized exchange over decentralized exchange in various reasons.
Binance was like that before, actually, they're bought popular but it just so happen that Binance has taken the spotlight and became more popular.
But until kucoin becomes on the eyes of the regulators, it's not going to be long that they'll start asking for KYC for all of their level 1 customers. Just as binance, they have enforced it to all of their customers and if you don't, you'll be asked to just withdraw your money and that's the only feature that will be allowed if you're not kyced complete.
3120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: January 01, 2023, 03:59:50 PM

Realization will struck someone who's too addicted in gambling. When he's got nothing left anymore and you're right that when he's completely drowned.
But if he says that he's making sure that he's in control and he's not losing that much, he can confidently say that to others and tell the truth of his situation. Although some gamblers are only tellinogP that just to let others think that they're doing okay. This is for those that are hiding the reality of what they're experiencing.

Yes you are right that mate and that is reality as we all know once a gambler get addicted they  are only realize when there are one scenario in their life that they can not forget, for example from rich to poor, from lucky to in lucky then there's a chance that they can realize that they are alewsy addicted to gambling. That's why if we are a wose gambler we won't bet bigger amount amount cause not all the time we will win.
There are the gamblers that would like to bet with big amount because they're living the mentality of YOLO. They believe and think that it's the resort that they can do because that's what they'll be doing to get themselves satisfied with what they have remaining on their pockets.
It's highly unlikely that they'll just stop gambling and as the title says, there's a reason that motivates them to keep on gambling. Either they're an addicted gambler or they just want to chase their losses.
