3101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best platform to use for a token offering? on: July 16, 2021, 09:31:01 PM
You should learn more and search more because there is uncertainty in your plans judging on your questions you seem to be a newbie in the world of Cryptocurrency, there's a huge competition here in the industry and the one that is knowledgeable and can offer something new in this industry are the one likely to succeed, so better take time with what you are planning to do.
3102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: July 16, 2021, 12:32:38 PM
I kind o like feeling in control of my finances and that means controlling my spending and being very aware of what goes in and what goes out. I normally check my accounts every month and may make a few decisions on what to spend next month if things are not looking correct. One of the things I do is to set aside 10% of my income for things that I really do not need - expensive clothing, gadgets and electronics, books, games,... and part of that is gambling. For me, a reasonable gambling budget is 3 to 5% of my income, although I may allow more if I have some extraordinary income that month. How do you plan your gambling or fun budget?

Allocating is a big challenge just lucky I have a family to look after my allocation and see to it that I follow my allocation, I'm happy with that setup at least I am not going within my boundary, gamblers should set up a budget that they can follow or a family that can help them follow the allocation, it's all about knowing your limitation and not crossing your bondary.
3103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Claim your FOX token If you used ShapeShift Before June 9 2021 on: July 16, 2021, 06:42:22 AM
This is a good airdrop because it's coming from a good project like Shapeshift, I'm one of those unlucky who is not part of the airdrop, airdrop should be like this if it's going to be profitable like the one we had with Uniswap, majority of airdrops now are useless, huge supply, KYC needed and doing the task before receiving your shares, I seldom participated on these kinds of airdrops, waste of time and gas fees.
3104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: July 15, 2021, 03:51:32 AM
I've seen them advertising here in Bitcointalk and that's a good move, hopefully, they can launch a bounty campaign here in Bitcointalk all the other projects are doing bounty campaigns for awareness and get funded with Lighlord behind this project, this project has a huge potential in the market.
3105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some are still loosing money in crypto on: July 14, 2021, 03:37:30 AM

  • You still believe that a certain coin will come back from the dead even though you already knew its a scam

The second point is something that will hurt you because you are still denying that you lose money and you don't want to cut loss, so you stuff with coins that continue to lose their value, losing in the market is part of investing because this is part of our maturity as an investor, as you go on you will learn how to cut your losses.
3106  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Glow Mining Scam Website STAY AWAY - Proof on: July 14, 2021, 01:41:40 AM

Check Legit one : https://www.asicminervalue.com/miners/bitmain/antminer-z15
                           https://whattomine.com/miners/119-bitmain-antminer-z15

Legit Seller  price is much Higher Than scammers Glowmining.

Not really higher but reasonable, scam stores will offer you a price that is way cheaper just to entice you to buy and that's what happen you prefer a much lower without a guaranty that you will get the product and maybe you did not do proper research, this thread will serve as a warning not to buy from that store, they are now exposed.
3107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins are rampant in the market on: July 13, 2021, 02:45:25 PM

In such a messy market, can we still allocate assets to cryptocurrencies? What should be done with altcoins?
I'm doing that, I invest in Bitcoin and I also invest in altcoins, and it's the right thing to do because you are not putting all your eggs in one basket if you want to make a profit in the market, diversification is the key and checking the right coins to invest I don't believe that only Bitcoin is the only profitable coin in the market, the market is very wide.
3108  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME on: July 12, 2021, 09:13:02 PM
This is another classic deposit first so you can withdraw just like the airdrop send this amount and we will double it, they use an exchange platform and imitating big personalities so they can scam people, if you are joining an airdrop be sure none of deposit first is written if they do consider them as scam no legit project will offer this kind of airdrop, none in the past until now.
3109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do Not Sell! Don't Let The Whales Get Your Precious BTC! on: July 12, 2021, 02:12:56 PM
Not everyone has strong hands and heart to HODL their Bitcoin, and everyone has a reason why they are selling, they need money because of an emergency, they want to buy other coins that they think will have potential in the market, or they are cutting their losses and wants to get out in the market until the market improves, whatever their reasons there will always sellers
3110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Project hacks / Rugpulls you've experienced on: July 12, 2021, 09:21:09 AM

Fortunately for me, I never suffered any major losses, what's your experience?

I lose a small amount I don't pour on something that is too good to be true and with APR as high as 1000% there's a high risk involved on it, the worst part is they did a pull rug hours after the launch of their APY, I did not notice the time lock, time lock should be 12 hours or more so you can pull out your funds in time before you lose money, better the RugDoc review before investing in a particular DeFi project.
3111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 11, 2021, 10:27:01 PM
Not really it's when you are losing money and you cannot control what you are spending or allocating in gambling that's when gambling becomes a problem and addiction, that's when you need to seek a professional, your family will immediately notice it if you are hard to speak of and you complain of not having enough money.

This is a sign of any addiction, not just gambling. This can happen if a person is a shopaholic or is fond of tuning his car or racing a car (this requires a huge investment). Therefore, if we are talking about the unique signs of gambling addiction, then we must talk about the signs that are only here.

All kinds of addiction are all the same their minds are preoccupied, they spend more time and money on things where they have an addiction, if we are talking about unique addiction maybe talking about cards, bets, odds most of the time, but all addiction are very similar and they have almost the same symptoms and signs and those who know addiction on things can easily tell.
3112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can the market build an immune system against meddling from influencer like Musk on: July 11, 2021, 12:14:24 PM
In a highly volatile market, it's very unlikely, people are swayed by profit, where the money is, investors will go there regardless of what kind of influencers and projects are being promoted, it will take a very long time for the community to mature even the abundance of materials on how to educate one's self on how to protect the investment, people loves to take a risk.
3113  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Account Seller - Colires - Telegram @COLIRESTHELASTONE on: July 11, 2021, 11:59:31 AM
This guy colires is scamming by selling fake finance accounts, he scammed me for 350$ for revolut account.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2827158

Telegram: @COLIRESTHELASTONE

My bad but i checked just now, so many people flagged that account but still no negative trust?

I hate victim-blaming but the guy profile has full of flags and red trust what made you trust this guy without an escrow even if the guy has no negative tag yet coming from DT'sa he has a lot of bad feedbacks you should take heed of that, it only takes a minute to check one's profile and this also goes for newbies, who are in a hurry to transact.
3114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many scammers have you funded by putting your money in? on: July 11, 2021, 08:24:38 AM
Those funds that these scammers have scammed from me are forgettable compared to what I made from investing from the right project I am very quick to move forward when it comes to investing, I always invest what I can afford to lose, it's a learning process that we all go through as we mature as investors.
3115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much did you earn from airdrop? on: July 11, 2021, 05:32:39 AM
The only profitable airdrops I've received were UNI and EBTC after these two, it's all pennies or nothing, it's hard to find good and profitable airdrops I received so many offer in the smart chain and the only cost is the gas fee, sounds good but if you look at the supply of these airdrops they run on billions and trillions and you only get thousands, it's almost useless, they just want awareness of their airdrop.
3116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Difficulty Bomb Delayed Again on: July 11, 2021, 05:13:39 AM
Ethereum will be rolling a series of upgrades with the "London" hard fork on August 4, 2021. It'll be an exciting time for ETH holders as the cryptocurrency becomes scarcer than ever while fees decline considerably across the Blockchain. While the hard fork will bring many benefits, it will also delay the difficulty bomb to Dec 1st. We're going to have to wait again until ETH becomes a full-fledged cryptocurrency.

This sucks real bad, since developers keep delaying ETH 2.0 after each upgrade. I know they want to make sure the new upgrade is as secure as possible before rolling it on "mainnet". But the many delays are making people desperate as the current implementation of the ETH blockchain becomes heavily congested. If this keeps up, Binance Chain or another competitor could take down ETH's position as the leader of the smart contracts industry.

What are your thoughts? Do you like the idea of delaying the difficulty bomb after each hard fork? Do you think sometimes enough is enough? Will people get tired of ETH's inability to scale on time? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

They have a reason for the delay, and that is to perfect the system before the launch, they know very well that their competitors are taking this opportunity to launch their own chain or bridge their chain we are all going to benefit if they launch their system in the right time, any way we have a good alternative in Binance Smart Chain.
It's going to be a good competition and will enhance users' experience once they launch so we have to be patient and wait.
3117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn BNB by holding a token. on: July 10, 2021, 01:34:48 PM

Isnt it reward for providing liquidity on DEX? So every transaction on dex, some of fee will be devided among the stakers. Its like how fee on CEX work, but its spreaded among the stakers.
For me its a good thing, so instead we make CEX owner richer, we maintain us as community to have healthier space.

One of the things that you have to watch out on decentralized exchange is fake projects that are imitating real projects, always look at the smart contract and see to it that you are trading on the right contract, of course, liquidity is another important factor do diligent research on the project you are investing, there's a lot of projects doing rug pulls leaving investors losing their money.
3118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying other cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin? on: July 09, 2021, 10:33:44 PM
So my question is this which is more important factor to consider before buying a coin, do you buy because of the technology of the project and what it has to offer, the utility of the token or the news?

The technology behind the project and the utility is of utmost importance because it's what wise investors will be looking at before they invest their money, the news can come later but the developers should focus long term so the project can build support and community it will eventually get in the market and have a good spot there.
3119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 July is going to big for btc price? on: July 09, 2021, 01:06:07 PM
I don't think it will only about mining Bitcoin they should also talk about the market and the fake hype and shilling of coins that are not worth it,
we should not speculate and wait for the announcement on what they have discussed, I'm sure their followers will wait for the update on what they have discussed I hope it's fruitful and the community will benefit.
3120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambler? on: July 09, 2021, 12:45:39 PM
I like coming back here in the gambling discussion even if there is no posting requirement that I post here in the gambling section I just want to get updated on the boxing matches which I always participated in the discussion and also on a discussion about the gambling habit, I'm not into sports betting and I seldom participate on this kind of topics.
