3101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: private key doesn't work on: September 24, 2020, 04:32:53 AM
Has anyone ever had an issue with a private key not working.
Provided you have written the private key down accurately and it has not been damaged during storage, then no, it will always work.

A private key is converted to an address using a number of very specific mathematical processes - namely elliptic curve multiplication, SHA256 hashing, and RIPEMD160 hashing. The same input (private key) will always give the same output (address). The only way for a private key to stop working is with a massive fundamental change to the bitcoin protocol.

Man, that's deep.

OP, have you checked your address first? Is it really working or what I meant is, did you really create a bitcoin address to have a private key?
This is why I always make a lot of physical back up. I don't want to mess everything up just to be secure with just 1 saved copy.
Out of curiosity, what wallet are you using?
3102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 24, 2020, 03:27:42 AM
@Reid. 3 points more needed with only 18.3 seconds hehehe.

Won it.

That's a lot of score for just 1 minute. A lot happened and the refs are making bad decisions.
It should've been finished earlier.

The Kentucky Rookie Herro. That sounds nice. 37 points.
"I'm a bucket."  Grin

Any bets from you in the Game 4 with Miami-Boston. I put my bet to ML for Miami they will go 3-1 in this Tongue. Kinda risky but its ok.

Hello Sir and welcome.  Cheesy
Thanks for sharing your picks.

I am with you here against the Celtics. I just really love how the Heat is being aggressive now.
They might have lose in game 3 but they made it difficult for the Celtics.

My bet later.
Miami and over 210.5. (Thinking it will be raining three's)
3104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ∧ Shape In Price on: September 23, 2020, 02:02:30 PM
I don't think all will have the same phenomenon.  Grin
Just look at USDT. It won't even move much. That's because it is a stable coin.

But I also wonder since I saw your post.
Could it be that the next scenario will be "/"?  Roll Eyes

Another good win Reid, congrats. We have now recovered what we have lost on that first two games  Smiley. I don't expect Nugget to win this series but i think they would win a couple of games before bowing to the Lakers so an ML for Denver every game is my bet.
Yes, we did.
A risky bet but it's worth it specially when you are a fan of the Nuggets.

Good win man! Congrats!

Another night to forget for me, the over was the best call, ikr.. Game 4 would probably follow the same trend  Cheesy
It might. Lakers would get back stronger and they might be watching the replay for what the errors could be.
I am waiting for AD to explode more, he did but it was too late in the game.

Nice win Reid, pretty odds + price boost, great win.

Meanwhile, looking at my NBA winner bet now and it's still alive so I love the Nuggets.

Holy ****! That's a big one if ever you would win it.
I never thought of that from the start. I still have a lot to learn in betting early.
It's only 16.20 now.
3106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 23, 2020, 03:46:43 AM
Denver night so far, it's a high scoring game while Lakers has been struggling, as of this writing, Denver has comfortable double digit lead.

44-32 score now, good luck Denver bettors, this is your night.  Grin

It was a good 3 quarters for the Nuggets but that 4th was something.
The Lakers defense was so good especially Rondo just swiping the ball from anybody.
Damn, pickpocket.  Grin

I was so relaxed with a 19 point lead and then all of a sudden it was 4.
I'm glad its over or 1 more minute and my heart will fail.  Cheesy

3107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 22 Bitcoin interesting facts on: September 22, 2020, 06:52:06 PM
I didn't thought it will be that long.
Then, someone quoted the whole thing. Whoa!
16. Bitcoin is very volatile
Bitcoin is highly volatile. The world’s largest digital currency has surely generated a great return for some investors. However, Bitcoin has a highly volatile nature which undermines its ability to function as a proper currency. Predictions have also been made that Bitcoin might fall in the future if it follows its current path.
For now. But soon it will not be that volatile. I'm just not sure if I am still alive on that moment though.  Grin

Ethereum, for instance, is another popular cryptocurrency that was funded through crowd-funding and went live back in 2014.

There are differences, however. Ethereum exists within its own network and is used more for gambling, investing, dApps (decentralised applications) and smart contracts rather than for everyday purchases.
C'mon. that's just too much.
It can be used regularly too, just like Paypal. Sending Ethereum just like money for payment to another person.
As long as both end knows how to deal with it.
But I am also guilty with using it in gambling. Well, so does Bitcoin.
3108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 22, 2020, 04:01:09 PM
I'm with the Nuggets here again.
Full support until the end. Win or Lose.
But winning in this Game 3 is a must or else they will have a difficult time repeating the last 2 games with Jazz and Clippers.

Nuggets ML
Over 213.5

Good luck to everyone.
3109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I NEED HELP WITH YOUR BRILLIANT OPINION. on: September 22, 2020, 08:36:17 AM
1. Does DEFI projects really worth it or just a hype like ICO projects?
It is hyped that is the truth.
Worthy projects, there are few of them. That is actually the reason I don't want to join in.
1/10 is a bad percentage.  Wink I'd stick with the old coins.

2. Is it possible that with the DEFI project cryptocurrency could be as lively as before with less scam related acticities?
Other way around. Yes, it's lively now. But scam related? It grew.

3. What do you think of a good Defi project guys? Please do me a favor. Thanks a lot!
Careful with this question. You will find a lot of answers from users who are just trying to shill their supported coins.
You still have to do your job securing yourself before believing it.
3110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 22, 2020, 05:06:50 AM
I can't remember the last time I have watched a game that was more boring than last nights game.
Yeah, It is boring because Nuggets didn't win the game.  Grin
I couldn't agree more  Cheesy. That guy, Dwight is definitely a bully  Cheesy.
Did you notice that too? He is, right?
I think that's part of the plan. But Jokic ain't budging. Even with bad calls from the ref, he just nods his head.
I bet he knows he is being attacked mentally. But, he is better than that.

AD might have done the winning shot but they all contributed to making it there. Without Lebron stopping the defender it could have missed.
3111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 21, 2020, 05:03:28 PM
Yeah, I agree! And one more thing I noticed 'bout them is that, they seemed very composed, I mean, they look more calm (at least for me) compared to those other teams out there. And, exactly my thoughts for Murray, however he doesn't seem to have a grip on the ball to throw it on the other side of the court, but still great effort for that man. Anyway, also huge props to Jokic, it was him who almost make Lakers take that L  Cheesy. These two big guys are makin' WCF even more exciting.

And they actually proved how calm they are.
16 point deficit and they can still get it back and almost win the game.
They might still be nervous but not choked.

The defense is just too good from the Lakers and sometimes it looks dirty. i.e. Dwight Howard
But that is how playoffs is. You play tough and make every possession count.
3112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coin Shilling Question on: September 21, 2020, 03:56:03 PM
Depends on who will shill it.
If it will just be an average Joe and he just does it by himself then could it really be pumped at the figures you given?

IMHO, Twitter had been the most used platform when it comes to "shill".
It can cause a big ruckus when someone with a known name does it.
Celebrities or idols or whatever they call them.  Wink
3113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 21, 2020, 01:31:45 PM
Ooohhh. A lot of Nuggets supporters.  Roll Eyes
But they still want to be safe with +7.5. That's nice.

I am also putting my bets for over 213.5. Suddenly the Lakers become an offensive team thanks to Rondo.
So that bet could be an easy win unless Nuggets puts more pressure on defense.

Denver ML for me.

Another great call from Stadus, huh Shocked

I was just 6 points shy of the Over 213.5.... What next to expect in the next 2 games ?? Line is +/- 3.5  Y'all backing the Nuggets ?

I am still feeling down by that shot from AD.
It could have been a win already.  Undecided

Yeah, stadus did a great prediction there.
I won something else though.

My first time winning this kind of bets.  Grin Just enough to fill some of the losses from the other bets.
3114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: September 21, 2020, 09:58:58 AM
I bet you had never tried to look deeper into this altcoin discussion section.
There is a lot about how to pick the right project to invest with.
But I got tired looking after page 5.  Grin But I promise you, there will be another one which will pop out again. Thanks to necroposters.

Red flags. I have also read one thread recently (damn, why can't I  find them) which talks about a team who doesn't want to show their faces and names.
Their reasons, to stay anonymous mimicking Satoshi. (IIRC, that's the concept of his thread.(
Anyway, that's a red flag already which is just one out of many.
3115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 21, 2020, 04:26:06 AM
Bottom line, the blame will be on Plumlee for not keeping his body to AD that leads to an easy inbound pass and a wide open jumper. Jokic's block was late and doesn't bother AD's momentum.
I wonder if they had blamed him in the lockers.  Grin

I don't think so.
They are not that type of team. They will just go back stronger and try to win it next time.
It could have been a win if Murray had thrown the ball on the other side of the court after blocking Green with 2 seconds remaining.
But I am not blaming him neither. He may not be in a good position to do it or may have not thought of that.
I do think right now he is having flashbacks of "what ifs".  Grin

Great game. This is how Conference Finals should be.
3116  Economy / Economics / Re: Sales of wedding rings are increasing on: September 20, 2020, 07:43:37 PM
I thought sales of condoms are higher now than rings. Grin
Then, next to that are baby items since they will be preparing for that.
Finally, pregnancy test kits.

How many new parents will name their babies near corona virus abbreviation?
Maybe Cody to remind them they made it during the pandemic.
Just don't name them Nineteen or they will be like the androids. (DBZ)

3118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This will help day traders and newbie traders. on: September 20, 2020, 03:19:13 PM
I think what should be the most important part is.. You should have money.  Grin A lot of it.

Being a day trader ain't that easy.
Let's say you will have a lucky day and it all went well.
But those things do not happen for so long. The end of line will always be there and you should be prepared for that. Have some spare to get it back.
Just stating my own experience. It's like a streetfight out there. You can be punched anytime and everything will go black.
3119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 20, 2020, 02:03:20 PM
Other players take care of the offense, 4 of the Celtics players have scored over 20 points.

1- J. Brown - 26 points
2- J. Tatum - 25 points
3- K. Walker - 21 points
4- M. Smart - 20 points.

And take note, they are very aggressive as they have more points in the paint in this game.
Nice.
I didn't realize that.
I was just looking at the score praying it would go over 206.5.  Grin
This is the reason why it's difficult to bet on either side. Both are strong and can be unstoppable if they feel a good momentum.

But, I am still kind of amazed on how Duncan Robinson shoots the ball. That's literally catch and shoot and that guy could get a higher salary in his next payroll with the sharpshooting skills he have.
He's just 26 and scaring the hell out of the Celtics team. I really thought they could at least tie the game.
3120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm scared of ethereum gas fee on: September 20, 2020, 10:31:32 AM
It depends on the project if they are looking for other options rather than making their investors waste more money for gas fees.
They should.
Just calculate how many dollars are being wasted which could have been used for buying their Defi's, scam or not.  Grin
Give it more time and it will go back to normal. This hype is just too much for Ethereum to handle.
