I didn't put my biggest bids high enough. No biggie. I can wait.

These swings after big moves are gold. Especially if you calmly place smaller orders. I always use times like this to extract some extra USD.

I seriously think I am cursed.
Whatever strategy I follow fails.
Even the coin flipping guy isn't making as much of a loss as me. How is that statistically possible? Own up; somewhere there is an anti-me making thousands.
I can honestly say that every single trading decision I have made was the wrong one. I should offer a service to tell you all what I'm doing so you can do the opposite.
Short term is full of manipulators, man Surely sometimes I should fall on the same side as a manipulator? Am I alone in this? Are other small traders just dripping money slowly into the jaws of manipulators? TONS of small player are giving money to the big guys. Thats just the way it works. My advice is to start not trading more. In other words, stay out of it until you see an opportunity in your favor that's very likely. And, decide what you want more, bitcoins or USDs. Having a divided mind on that last point will kill you.

Cutting the mining rate in half is not cutting the TRADING SUPPLY in half. It will have very little impact.
This.

Gold Climbing ($1665), Market climbing(DOW 13250), AAPL (598) climbing... Where is the Collapse? ?? My Dog is wagging his tail.. Everything up, bitcoin down?

What was your leverage?
Just guess... 10:1 I thought I was doing better this time tho because I didnt fully leverage up my deposit. I had deposited 20 coins and only bought 100. Is this different than depositing 20 coins and fully leveraging up at 5:1? My stop for this position would have been $5.00(not that I actually used one) but I figured my liquidation price was so close to my stop that it made little to no difference. Anyone please feel free to advise me...Don't use 10:1.

Dissappointing.....
Don't be disappointed. I think on the whole this is a good thing. We're going to solidify a floor and if you play your cards well and you could be sitting on a kick-ass long position in a few weeks. Not when you already have a PISS poor position already... As usual.. Im tired of trying to make sense of the analysis and constantly getting fucked.. Showing patience only increases my losses Sounds like we need to meet at a bar and talk LOL. What was your leverage?

Just sent out a quick email and it is very important for the current situation
Awesome!

Honestly, I hope this evolves into an all out panic and helps solidify a floor.

I am sooooo close to being liquidated... this means only a few more cents down and then up to the moon without me...
Not a wise thing to disclose here on the forums... But I guess this thread is a gold mine to anyone wanting to do a long squeeze now. Also: More than 8k was added to Bitcoinica long pile. Another spike down and we'll see eachother at 4.5 Sweet. Adjusting my biggest bids accordingly then.

Hahaha wow, I guess I should have taken up the good liquidity in the 5.3s. Didn’t guess there was so much panic potential. SELL EVERYTHING, THE WEEKEND IS OVER! Oh noes, another weekend is coming! Sell MOAR!

BTW, it just looks to me like somebody is trying to incite panic against the technical analysis being released by wave and s3052. For their sake they better back it up with some fear inducing ask walls, or have a lot more coins to sell, or they're going to be up shit creek.

Anyone else really excited for the next few weeks? The past couple months I've actually been doing something I haven't done for a long time - I've been sending new money to the exchanges instead of merely selling what I have and buying back more.
All your bids get hit? or do you have more even lower? I've got bids all the way down. My biggest ones haven't been hit yet. I did just buy a handful of coins (about 75) between $5.16 and $5.00.

This is too awesome an article not to get its own thread. Critics of bitcoin as a currency are quick to point out that not many merchants accept it as a payment type yet. That will change. And, they also point out that the total available market is severely limited. Oh, how wrong! Bitcoin’s first potential mega-market just so happens to be the second largest economy in the world and its sole competitor in that sphere is depreciating government paper cash. Game on. Take a bow Jon Matonis.

This might be something I'd be willing to re-work SearchingForSatoshi.com for. Maybe to run alongside the idea of linking paper money to bitcoin addresses or somehow incorporating one idea into the other.
(This post written mainly to subscribe.)
searchingforsatoshi.com would be awesome for this sort of thing.
