3121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2019, 07:51:52 AM
It amazes me the number of men in crypto but women not so much.
When I talk to my girlfriend or female friends I feel like they don't care about it or I am crazy lol. I offered 3 of my female friends 10 dollars worth of Bitcoin via Coinbase to see if they will be interested.  I helped download the app, set up two-factor authentication and some other basic stuff. After a couple of months, they even don't recall how to access their wallets. I am very disappointed lol. Can someone explain to me why women are not interested in crypto?

I think just like in IT course you cannot see a lot of girl or women want to get an IT course or an engineering course but more like going for educational courses.
I think there is only a small percentage of women who likes technology itself maybe the millennials are techy today but if you are not I think you are not so much interested especially in investment in cryptocurrency you probably just going for a more practical investment or a business. Because it is more realistic in making a profit unlike bitcoin or cryptocurrency online money sound scam to them in my opinion.
3122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 7 on: November 29, 2019, 07:06:45 AM
I was so busy for our upcoming competition for Robotics at school that's why I wasn't able to come up with a crazy idea yesterday, and actually even now I wasn't so sure about a thing so here's a little bit easy for all of you.

What if you have a kid on the house and you're currently making bets online and you accidentally have a phone call or what so ever thing you might do on that time and suddenly the kid mistook it for some fancy game and make bets on his/her own, would you be upset and get angry to the kid? Or would you rather trust a child's play on this scenario?

Due to our late discussion, thread will be open until Saturday.

I think it depends you could easily see if the kid do something that is surely going to lose at any point,
but I think if the game was all about luck you could just depend on that bet and go on your luck and sometimes it could easily be a jackpot just like in a lot of movies.
But most of the time it is a good idea just to trust the bet of the kid but still think how much money you are going to lose.
3123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's really good have you received from the results of the gambling bounty on: November 29, 2019, 06:10:13 AM
Because the results of this year's bounty are decreasing, even many of the bounty hunters do not earning from bounties, do many of you who don't usually take part in the bounty gambling, now move to bounty gambling to remain earning from the bounty, because I saw in this forum bounty gambling still pay well and continue to live, bounty gambling is an alternative to earning from bounty.
And does anyone of you make income to become from the bounties gambling to fulfill your daily life?
We all know that even gambling bounties today are resulting in a big scam investment in ICO's,
And a lot of investors are already avoiding ICO's due to high risk of getting scam and the developers are just taking all the money without maintaining the token,
sometimes the token itself doesn't even make it in the market and just end up becoming a dead token in the future.
There are only popular gambling websites that is legitimate and can be trusted.
3124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: November 29, 2019, 05:49:32 AM
Maybe it's asked before, still, it will help us a lot.

Why do you gamble?

Why do you do not invest that money instead?
Why you do not donate them?

Because you are bored?
Because you are looking for entertainment?
Because you are going after the big score?

Why?
I think we all gambling because we wanted to earn a good profit and we all wanted to win, probably we wanted to double our investment in the gambling website.
We all know that buying bitcoin was already an investment because the market price was already so volatile and I think gambling was already a thing, we could easily have a good profit if we have experience and tricks in the game, but I think it is all a risk in everybody so gambler is just a real risk-taker, taking the risk of the buying bitcoin and gambling was a big deal .
3125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long term hodl ! What a joke on: November 28, 2019, 07:27:13 PM
Why do you refuse to face the reality of the present state of the crypto market? I always laugh when I see people still talking about long term hodl when the reality is staring us in the face. Don't be a fool, only the smart are leading the race in the crypto sphere of today. Why do you decide to hodl when you know that the price may dump? Why not sell at the peak and then you can buy back at the bottom. The race is not to the fool but to the wise. Selling at the peak and buying back at bottom is wisdom but holding at the peak expecting a magic spike is foolishness. Bull run is not here yet, do not expect a magic spike. When the bull run is here, you don't need a prophet to tell you that. Be smart.
I agree in experience we never see altcoins have a pump at a very high price for a long term investment it was just pumping its market price and then going down again,
the best thing you could do is just to sell it if you already see the profit in your investment holding it until you could sell it more than you buy it was already a profit also you could just study the chart of the token you invested in, so that you know it it is a opportunity for you to invest in the altcoin or the token or it is a good opportunity for you to sell it.
3126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is impossible to proof that somebody is Satoshi. on: November 28, 2019, 06:15:44 PM
It is impossible to prove that somebody is Satoshi.

I firmly believe that even if real satoshi turned up one day, people will also declare him Faketoshi.
This is so true.

Even if Satoshi presents his privatekeys, signs messages, shows his passwords, e-mail account accesses... it could be someone else who has all these privatekeys, passwords, accesses now.
He would only prove the ownership of these but it is impossible for somebody to prove that he is Satoshi.
If we are going to find out who is Satoshi Nakomoto today or this time I time it is kinda impossible to find proof that he is the one who created bitcoin,
Anyone could claim that he is the marker of bitcoin but any documentation is impossible but in my opinion if he could have a big amount of percentage if bitcoin and he have the biggest percentage of bitcoin in here hand that could possibly be Satoshi Nakamoto since we have a theory that Satoshi Nakamoto owned a very big percentage of bitcoin and it makes sense since he is the maker or creator of bitcoin he should at least have a big amount of it since he could crack the bitcoin system.
3127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: not a rule! but it's about your common sense to avoid scam projects on: November 28, 2019, 06:01:33 PM
Regulasi aren't a golden bullet against scammers. As all those things become more obvious to the general public, scammers evolve to mimic decent projects with almost impeccable efficiency. Still, the most reasonable rule of investment isn't about ICOs or IPOs, it's just about your common sense. I mean no matter what, never spend more money than you can afford to lose.
In the crypto world, we know that there are so many scammers on the internet and it is one of the things that we must avoid,
We should be aware and knowledgable in the cryptocurrency to avoid this scam on the internet whatever we do there is always a scammer on the internet.
The money you put in bitcoin or in cryptocurrency is already a big risk and it is not recommended to put all of your money only the money that you can afford to lose because it is a big risk and a lot of scammers or something could easily go wrong because it is the internet and bitcoin is bitcoin. Like for example investing in ICO's we should be aware also being in these forums we are getting a lot of information from a lot of users' experiences so we should like from their mistakes.
3128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency? on: November 28, 2019, 05:47:48 PM
as we know that in 2017 many ICO were successful (at least reached softcap) and of course the market cap was also very high at the time, so it proves that many people are interested to investing in cryptocurrency, but now where do these investors go? because now the market cap is down and many ICO or IEO are failing (not reaching softcap), are investors no longer interested to investing in cryptocurrency? if yes, where are they investing now? or is there a more profitable investment than investing in cryptocurrency for now?
That might be true a lot of ICO were still successful today but still compare to the past years of ICO in cryptocurrency or even in this forum,
A lot of ICO's have failed in finding its investors in the project and a lot of them also just a scam ICO because the token is not going to maintain in the market and sometimes worst the token is not even listed in an exchanger because the developer of the token have not maintained the token in the development. I think a lot of investors already lost their trust in ICO's and only a small percentage of investors are only investing and risking their money in their kind of profit.
3129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: November 28, 2019, 03:24:22 PM
I think being knowledgable in cryptocurrency is already a thing to avoid being a scam if you already know the market and how things work in the crypto world,
It will be easy for you to identify the scam websites and scam advertisement on the internet. A lot of newbie in cryptocurrency getting scam because they are being greedy in earning a good amount of bitcoin in a lot of websites I experience joining an HYIP in my years in cryptocurrency and if the advertisement of the website is too good to be true if it obviously a scam. There is no way you could earn a 20-50% of your investment daily with just investing your money this kind of scheme online or HYIP was just a bait and probably they are just circulating the money of others in your account.
3130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are crypto casinos/dice houses not caring about multiple accounts. on: November 27, 2019, 11:13:45 AM
As part of my new gambling strategy development, I need to have at least 10 accounts to gamble with.

10 accounts may be with 10 different casinos or with only one casino. More preciously if I have 10 accounts with same gambling house then it would be more helpful as the percentage of house edge will be same (otherwise I may need to fine tune my strategy to withstand against different house edges).

I like to get your opinion from your experiences like what are the crypto casinos which are allowing multiple accounts or who are all not bothering about accessing them through VPN. Also, which casino is more strict about multiple accounts. I plan to access my accounts with different IP around the globe (I mean I do not have plans to access all the accounts from same IP address).

All your inputs are highly appreciated. I checked few houses' TOS and FAQ but most casinos are not explicitly not mentioning about their stand against multiple accounts and accessing them through VPN.
A lot of gambling websites could easily detect VPN and also most of them do not allow multiple accounts on the websites because it was just a waste of data in the database and for sure not all of them are actively playing the game, unlike your main account in the websites. I think in popular gambling websites using VPN is kinda risky and you could get banned in the websites, I think depending on the websites you could use your strategy in winning the game, I only have 1 account in different gambling websites and as long as I have cash in money in the websites I don't encounter big problems.
3131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after cryptocurrency on: November 27, 2019, 10:50:38 AM
Money changed its shape through the history. As from non-monetary exchange to the need of having money. Fast forward to our current banknotes which are in my opinion slowly dying with bitcoin taking over. Many discussions are being held if bitcoin can be the primary currency in the world. Let's assume it can be. Everything has an end so what do you think will come after bitcoin? What will money look like hundreds of years from now? I predict its gonna be digital of course but I'm interested if its going to be a cryptocurrency or something else.
For me, it is still a long way for cryptocurrency the fiat money that is implemented is still reliable in a lot of ways maybe after 10 years cryptocurrency could be implemented too.
Fiat money is still the best way and most convenient way to use in buying things and also in a physical store most of them do not even accept cryptocurrency as a payment and even bitcoin their are only a few stores that accept this kind of payment method because it is not yet implemented and also not yet regulated I'm not sure if we could use the bitcoin as the main currency because the market value of it was so volatile and when you use it as a money it is difficult to check the market value, it is a hindrance if you lose money in a small time without even doing anything.
3132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Hit As Per The Experts Predictions? on: November 26, 2019, 03:37:14 PM
Well!! Crypto market is quite slow nowadays as a lot of crypto experts predicted their bitcoin predictions

Will Bitcoin Hit Again?
Definitely we can see the market is going down I think it was a delay effect from alot of exchanges and closing assets of bitcoin.
Also, I cannot imagine the bitcoin will have its low price in the market surely 1000$ bitcoin will attract a lot of investors in the coming months for sure so I'm expecting that bitcoin will surely hit again if the market price continue to go down in the market. I think the demand for supply of bitcoin is still relevant but there are a lot of delays coming from all over the world one thing is for sure bitcoin market price will surely rise again.
3133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listed exchange matters on: November 25, 2019, 05:25:12 PM
For every bounty hunters who are tired of new bounty projects that ends up been a total garbage after they are listed on exchange pls do find yourself some time and do research on past bounty projects because the Exchange they used for IEO matters alot, that exchange is where they will list after bounty ends, i haven't seen a bounty project that get listed on Kucoin and Gate that is not profitable, in terms of good volume or even 2x+

I have learnt a lesson here again, have you? top exchange matters especially in this bear market, look at all the bounties listed on p2pb2b, exmarket etc  Cheesy
I think getting listed in the top exchanger was a good thing in the past years but for not a lot of cryptocurrency or altcoins in the market was already garbage and almost all of them are turning into a scam,
a lot of altcoins in the market and ICO's are turning into a dead coin after the launch of the token after than listing in the market and then will not have any volume or trade history in the coming years.
I think getting listed in the top exchanger especially today was already useless for me having a great volume and transactions was more of an important thing in exchange the token could be listed in a popular exchange without having a good value or no value at all.
3134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: November 25, 2019, 05:05:00 PM
Can you involve money for you to stop gambling or a gambler can really stop after he promises that if he wins this jackpot he will stop?
This is for the big-time gambler or those who gamble habitually or even those who have the urge to gamble when they have available money.

If I keep on winning the game probably I win not stop playing or gambling because it was a good source of income.
I think i will only stop playing if I don't have any money or bitcoin to bet in the game.
If I win a big amount of money I would probably spend it on a business to get a passive income or probably buy a house and then gamble the other left.
3135  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Game on: November 25, 2019, 02:01:30 PM
I'm having a hard time to play the game  Grin Grin it was hard to aim using arrows.
Flash player was kinda old school these days but it still works, a lot of options are missing in the game I want to play in full screen.
Also developing a simple game like this was kinda hard I admire your skills just continue what you are doing I'm happy to play your other soon developed games.
It has a very nice concept and it was really fun to play if you are winning. Grin
3136  Other / Meta / Re: Do you agree to have 2fa Authentication on Bitcointalk.org? on: November 24, 2019, 04:12:43 PM
I know some of us here is having issues on their bitcointalk account being hacked. I just want to know if many will agreed to have 2fa Authentication on our bitcointalk account to protect it from hacking specially those who have high ranks. I hope Bitcointalk.org team will plan to put 2fa Authentication on our accounts. Thanks 😊😊😊
Agree, this could be a great add on security on the website, and also a lot of fake phishing websites on the internet trying to copy the bitcoin talk website having this extra security could prevent account hacking to a lot of members in the forums. But Personally I don't like 2fa Authentication because sometimes other websites don't have safety measures if you lost your phone number or sim card you should be able to recover it from email and using this 2fa authentication you should be able to monitor or trace the one who opens the account.
3137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Government Could Shutdown Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2019, 12:19:31 PM
Bitcoin has been existing for more than a decade, but it is still existing, each government are almost in favor with Bitcoin but they can't do anything to stop it, in fact the word of Bitcoin has risen and the demand for it is continuously rising, so the government can have no power to shutdown it, because if they have, they must have been done it before the mass adoption.
Thinking the same, because bitcoin is just like the internet the government cannot just shut it down.

What is your opinion about this? Could the government do this?

https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-could-be-stopped-by-governments-pretty-simply/
I think this won't happen because market have natural ways to handle this.
If there is demand to buy/sell market reacts in a way it stops too sudden price movements.
Then people would realise what is happening, who is buying/shorting and why, they should act in opposite way to balance things.
If you think about it a large transaction in the market could easily affect the market which the government could possibly do to affect the market.
But they cannot increase the supply of bitcoin in the market.

3139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Government Could Shutdown Bitcoin? on: November 22, 2019, 12:42:05 PM
I read this article online that the government could stop the Bitcoin? Easily using a simple trick.
Making the bitcoin market price staying in under a 1000$ for a long time and wait for the people to lose interest in it.

For me, this is easier said than done, making the bitcoin market price lower than 1000$ would encourage investors to invest in bitcoin that will inevitably affect the market price.

What is your opinion about this? Could the government do this?

https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-could-be-stopped-by-governments-pretty-simply/

No way any government can stop bitcoin because they don't control bitcoin and honestly this does not make any sense because we have come across so many speculations and news like this in the past and I know there will be some more negative posts due to recent market situation.
Agreed, controlling the market price of bitcoin would not be an easy task, depending on supply and demand if the market.
A lot of news in the market and speculation could easily be throw on the internet to affect the bitcoin community and bitcoin investors.
3140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good trading volume doesn't mean a token is good on: November 22, 2019, 12:10:02 PM
Behold good trading volume doesn't mean a coin or token is good, i read in a thread where few people are saying if a coin has no volume means its a bad coin, well here we go, bad coins can have huuuge volume, you must have heard of bomb token? bomb token has good trading volume but guess what? it has no real use case, the volume comes from HYPE because its a deflationary tokens, people believed that the more a max supply of a token get decreased or burned off over time means they are GOLD tokens, it does bring profits to early adopters like they say but NO REAL USE CASES.
It depends on the token itself the volume could easily be fake in the market buying or selling the smallest amount available in the market at a very high market price could easily increase the market value of the token.
Also a lot of dead tokens are in the market I suggest just to buy a popular altcoins in the market just like XRP with a low price in the market you could easily buy a high volume of this token and invest it in a long term investment in my opinion it could easily make a good profit considering the high volume of investment you buy.
