That was my attempt to log in, which instantly displays: "Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
Your account is locked because it sat inactive for years after the password hashes were leaked in 2015, and was therefore at high risk of being hacked. Email reactivate_2019_*****@bitcointalk.org to get it unlocked."

I will try regain access to my wallets, but not being able to access my wallets is why I wanted to come back to this forum.

Though my situation might have been a little different from yours. I managed to recover my account after the recoveries team found compelling evidence that my account had been hacked minus a staked bitcoin address or signed message. You, too, can try sending them a message from the original email you used to registered your account and include all the necessary information that can help them determine that the account was indeed hacked. You could get lucky  Smiley
Use this new recoveries format - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0
3122  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] ⭐🚀 as.exchange ⭐🚀 Innovative Derivatives Exchange ⭐🚀 on: April 02, 2021, 09:07:26 PM
1. You got a typo on the sign-up button. It should be sign up not sing up

2.  Is your exchange in operation yet? I do seem some sort of timer when I click on the sell button

3. In simple terms, what is TVS?
3123  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance contact on: April 02, 2021, 08:49:01 PM
The fact is that their support is super slow. I had a problem with binance p2p where someone attempted to scam me over a week ago, and I tried to report the issue but up to today, I haven't got any chance of talking to a customer support agent. All I get are just generic bot replies.
3124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: $5 Worth of LTC & $5 Worth of USDT - Binance - What to do? on: April 02, 2021, 08:01:43 PM
there's minimum on that also. It was 100trx or so . 2 bucks that time
There are so many coins that have withdrawal limits way below $10 such as EOS, ADA, XRP, and even TRX (2 TRX) on their main nets and even lower of BEP2 and BEP20
Check this for more details - https://www.binance.com/en/fee/depositFee
3125  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+) on: April 01, 2021, 01:33:01 PM
Just wondering,

is it possible to add a feature to notify also when receiving a direct message? Or that would make the message "not really a personal message"?
It's not possible. The bot only tracks data that's publically available.

But you could activate an email notification feature so that you get notified via email whenever you receive a PM.
3126  Economy / Reputation / Re: shahzadafzal account now belongs to a scammer on: March 31, 2021, 09:56:07 PM
Very weird, given the fact that the account has been actively posting in different threads today as usual and then all of a sudden the last post is asking for private key from people.

I hope it was not an April 1st Fool's day prank gone wrong  Grin
3127  Other / Meta / Re: New old member on: March 31, 2021, 09:36:10 PM
Last post was 2014 but the account was last active 2 days ago. I also didn't see indication of password change. It doesn't look like it was stolen. When did you found out that it was hacked?
It's possible his account got hacked way back before Bitcointalk profile information sites like BPIP.org started capturing profile data such as password change dates, so there is no easy way of knowing if the password was changes before or not.

But If OP has a genuine claim. He can recover his account if he follows the instructions.
3128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto to $AUD on: March 30, 2021, 09:59:34 PM
I would say Binance since the support of all the coins you mentioned above. You can either trade off your assets and withdraw fiat directly from the platform but at a fee or you can trade of the coins and exchange them for fiat on their p2p exchange for free through the different available payment gateways provided by the buyers - https://p2p.binance.com
3129  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto.com charging more than their listed fees ... (SCAM??) on: March 30, 2021, 09:35:19 PM
They are not scammers, but most of the services are unfair when charging a withdrawal fee.

Have you checked out your transaction ID to see if the 0.00115736 BTC was actually used as transaction fee?
Use this site to determine which exchange charges the best rates.
3130  Other / Meta / Re: My account was stolen on: March 30, 2021, 07:06:51 PM
It's been almost over a year since the TheRealRazick came here to claim ownership of the account. Where were you for all that long?

I am not sure if you will be able to recover the account, but if there is proof that the owner defaulted the loan then the best thing to do is to create flags and leave some negative feedback on the profile

As of today accounts are not considered as collateral which means you might be granted the rights of ownership of the account
3131  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Cryptocurrency Courses for Beginners on: March 29, 2021, 09:56:42 PM
Free courses are okay. But if you really want to learn how to trade crypto. I suggest you go for a paid course or subscribe to a signal group. I'm in several groups myself all paid for. And its been quite the experience. You get your money's worth and you learn in the process.
There's something about getting things for free that just manipulates the human mind. You'd appreciate the information more if you paid for it..it may seem odd but its true

This is ill advice. I have never paid a single cent to learn how to trade, and I have pretty much made a lot of progress with practice. Most of the so called paid signals are even scams, and you learn nothing when your work is to just receive and trade on signals sent by someone.

Learn to hunt for yourself. Don't wait for someone to spoon-feed you.

3132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 28, 2021, 09:55:56 PM
I don't really know why would Messi wants to play in France? There is no competition. Only Premier League option would be wise, other than that Messi won't leave Barcelona.
Who says Messi has to play only in competitive leagues even at an older age. Premier League was far more competitive than La Liga, but we never saw him leave la Liga for 13+ years.

The only big factor I see in his transfer is money and not competitiveness. Hell, he could even go to China or back home in Argentina depending on his decision on whether to choose money or not.

I just checked out your negative feedback, and it turns out that you are one of the shill accounts of some gambling site which was busted that I don't want to mention here. What a shame it is for you to come here and make false claims about another bookie that I doubt if you have even ever used. Try something else.
3134  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about trading on: March 28, 2021, 09:19:36 PM
I don't do trading because I still can't find the secret behind it but I've seen a video on tiktok talking about using metatrader, it says to follow and copy trade from the highest rated traders with zero trading predictions only, I don't think it's for free, you still have to spend 20$ or more to copy trade
Video from Tiktok? This should be red flag number 1
Why would someone have to pay 20$ to copy trade from a stranger?

In my opinion. I think it's better one learns how to analyze and trade for themselves. If you feel you are too lazy to trade. Then don't trade at all. Try something else.
3135  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WARNING! Stay away from Blockchain.com wallet! on: March 28, 2021, 07:55:42 PM
Custodial Web wallets, especially those that require one to sign up using an email and password are the worst kind of wallet one can ever think of using to store BTC. Anybody using them risks losing the funds any time due to security breaches.
Looking at the trustpilot reviews alone paints a picture of so many people who became victims as a result of trust blockchain wallet.
3136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reliable Telegram groups? on: March 28, 2021, 07:41:57 PM
If you are looking for a group or channel where you received trading signals. Then I guess you will be wasting a lot of time. Most of them are scams and pump and dump groups. I recommend you just learn how to carry out technical analysis for yourself and perfect your strategy through trading.

Nobody genuine is just going to sit out there and give out "trading signals"
3137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: RicByte Token - what do you think? (RicByte.com) on: March 27, 2021, 09:58:01 PM
It's why I gave examples of storiqa an INS token. They had a similar approach, and it didn't work out despite holding ICOs that were successful according to today's standards. Maybe you  check them out and see what went wrong

Why did you accept the bloody cloud mining contracts in the first place?
You sent them 3.55 BTC, that's the exact amount they should have refunded you not in the form of mining contracts.

Since the value has grown, I doubt they will even refund you your BTC. If they failed to do back then, what makes you think they can raise BTC worth $162,000 right now?
3139  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] WitLink - Fake Team on: March 26, 2021, 10:09:33 PM
Sorry to burst your bubble but the team members that you uploaded to your website are all computer-generated AI pictures.

-snip-

And here we find something else, first, the company is registered in virtual office second the director name is Theodore Green and weirdly enough he is not on the "team".
Nice job qwertyup23 and stompix upon exposing the shameless scammer. He thought fooling Bitcointalk scam detectives was a walk in the park  Grin
I am not so good with the AI generated image thingy, but I trust you guys, ICOEthics would be proud. This should be enough for me to tag the profile and support the flag
3140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder for crypto newbies, traders. Be cautious with new exchanges on: March 26, 2021, 09:54:06 PM
How is FTX by the way?  Heard few good things about it.
FTX is OK, though I wouldn't rate it as Binance, but it's a solid exchange than you can trust unlike pure scam exchanges like p2pb2b, bitforex etc

The problem is why do newbies want to go for the new exchanges when there are established ones that are far more reliable and are guaranteed to not run away with your money. Going in with big money as a newbie I think is the biggest mistake that anyone can do especially as the topic says, you are in a new exchange.

Thats my question, too. But when I was a newbie before, I didnt choose new exchanges. Ive chosen established exchanges that has a good feedbacks like Binance. When there and new crypto exchanges, it is hard to entrust your fund to those who still didnt prove their length of existence and their security system.
Exactly my thinking... As a newbie you should at least try to go for traditional exchanges, if that's the least research you do. There's no point in investing (and even making profit) if the exchange you're using is not legit. You'd still end up losing in the end.

Picking the right exchange is one of the 1st steps you take towards investment, be it in crypto or otherwise. Always best to keep to places that have already been proved many times before. No point in risking it with newer exchanges...
Most Newbies get trapped into using brand new or scam exchanges due to airdrops, ICOs and shitcoins that are not listed on trustworthy exchanges. I have been there when I was a newbie. Thou I was lucky not to make any financial losses
