3121  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reference topic: Why are these members excluded on trust lists? on: December 05, 2020, 10:01:56 AM
Update:
This guy has been leaving fake negative feedback to several users. He's currently on DT2, but doesn't belong there:

New week and they have distrusted seemingly everyone who has recently distrusted them:

(and I'm sure it hasn't gone unnoticed that a certain person has removed their entire trust/distrust lists since being relegated to the second division...)
3122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: December 04, 2020, 08:52:06 PM
... but saying that their was no debate how would people know the rightful candidate to follow.

Some people vote for their parties candidate regardless of who that may be.  Others turn to the media and hear what a candidates platform is (unless of course said candidate turns on the media and declares their reporting of the facts to be um, well... "not true" or er, "fake" in the eyes of the candidate).  That news is said (by the candidate to be "not true", or well "Fake news..."

History is usually not kind to such candidates.
3123  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1 and DT2 members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: December 04, 2020, 05:54:55 AM
Hi LoyceV,

the thread title says "...(or are banned)" I can't recall seeing a list of banned users for a while, - is there such a list?

I've just had a look at that old chestnut Peloso, they "trust" most of the people who distrust them (does that mean Peloso is admitting they can't be trusted?)? ??

3124  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 04, 2020, 02:20:07 AM
I gain a decent amount of referrals each month but less than 5% of my overall referrals are active on the site. Almost all of them are only interested in the faucet and don't do any gambling. Even though I'm still gaining referrals, the commission I'm earning each month keeps going down because the price of Bitcoin is rising which means you get less per faucet claim.

You've just reminded me, I've been meaning to ask, I had 5 referrals, then it was four, then seven...  So, I guess I'm wondering if the referrals stop playing do they disappear and then reappear when they start playing again?

Bump: the cat is back (on DT2)!

Not for long...

I was wondering if the grey dates could be lightened just a fraction so they are more readable - please?
3127  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [β] BPIP Extension: user info & extra features add-on/extension, Firefox/Chrome on: December 03, 2020, 07:59:59 AM
I know about BlockCypher but Mempool is much better and they also have api: https://mempool.space/
and I wanted to have something like this in one simple browser extension

The good thing is that with both BlockCypher and Mempool having API, a user could select from either should the powers that be choose to go with our suggestions.
3128  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: December 03, 2020, 07:58:23 AM
Hi and thanks for your reply - so my score should be 74 not 73 at this point in time?

You also have one negative.   Not sure how that affects the score anymore, but maybe the BPIP team could add a breakdown.

Example:

Seven positive over ten months = 70
Two positive for two months = 4
Five negatives = 2^5 = -32
Total:  42

Hi Vod,

My question was posted pre the most recent DT lottery.

What I've been trying to nut out is is it a calendar month e.g. the 17th day of the month, a 28 day month, or something akin to (365.25/12) days as the value only seems to change when the DT lottery occurs. (after the initial one point when the trust merit is given out for a positive)

At one point my score should have been advancing roughly every two weeks, but wasn't.

Quote
You also have one negative.

Again, that one negative comes and goes - pre this month's DT lottery it wasn't there (or, rather, the user wasn't DT (1or2) positive.  There's a popular misconception that if a DT (1or2) has a negative after their number, then they somehow aren't anything.  This is not the case.

3130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: December 02, 2020, 03:56:20 AM
... but I don't think that someone like Ivanka who has achieved very little so far has any serious chances.

... unlike her father prior to being elected the 46th President of the USA four years ago?

Mouthing off to the cameras and pandering to the lowest common denominator got DJ Trump elected (and cost gambling sites a hefty payout)  Putting BTC 0.001 now on the totally rank outsiders might not cost much now, but the returns are anyone's guess both dividend and the actual cost of bitcoin in four years' time.
3131  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: December 01, 2020, 05:59:21 PM
Or, is it the first point is added when the positive feedback is given, then a fraction of the year (one tenth of a year??) for nine times until the score is ten?

Each individual feedback gains one point per month until it reaches 10.

Hi and thanks for your reply - so my score should be 74 not 73 at this point in time?

There are seven other positive trust feedbacks (more than 12 months old) - adding @Yoshi's score (one in August and three months thereafter) makes four - yes?

This was probably a long con by asu as this evidence hints at:

Week 18 asu adds just one name - theymos to their trust list, then in their week 20 DT trust additions asu adds twenty more UID's:

At a guess, asu has been building trust with these lenders and campaign managers with micro, small, not so small and finally the long con game play loan.

Two weeks later, asu is trusted by three users:

It doesn't install anything it just enables push notifications to your operating system. It will tell you when the 5x RP bonus has started and stuff like that.

Hey thanks for clarifying that, I'm only a casual user (exclusively on freebitco.in for the last six months BTW) , so the once per hour beep is fine for my time on the site.

Thanks again.

There are still four positive feedback on DT view on the profile from Russlenat, GreatArkansas, inthelongrun and dozerz. These users should revise their feedback after the incident. Obviously a loan scammer does not deserve to have any positive feedback from DT.

inthelongrun hasn't been online in the last nearly three months while the other three have been last online within the last few days:

Code:

I'll leave the last word to cabalism13 whose DT1 vote is giving two user's ( inthelongrun and GreatArkansas ) positive DT2 trust feedback towards asu:

3136  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - asu u=519783 on: December 01, 2020, 05:10:06 AM
I'll just park this here for people to get context of what finaleshot2016 is doing:

Interestingly enough finaleshot2016 does not come here to this scam accusation to answer questions concerning their apparent merit & Default trust abuse with theyoungmillionaire, instead removes their trust of theyoungmillionaire (but being DT1 does not go so far as to distrust theyoungmillionaire as that would push him to DT2 (-11) )

Via https://bpip.org/r/dt1changes.aspx

As you can see both the last time as with this time finaleshot2016 simply removed their DT trust of theyoungmillionaire but did not go that step further to distrust them and again this time, finaleshot2016 first distrusted then got cold feet and removed that distrust of asu as quickly as they placed it.  Questions definitely need to be answered.

Same goes with cabalism13.

Building trust up to a point where he could go for a bigger grab. 0.3BTC might be a lot where he lives & worth losing his account & dignity over.

asu's path to oblivion:

which is strange really, because they had an OK DT trust page at the start of this week:

DT1 (+4) to DT1 (-9) and falling ...

Hopefully DireWolfM14 is weighing up any outstanding long term loans to prevent further losses.

They aren't installing anything. I think it's request to enable notifications on your browser to notify you that 1 hour timer since your last faucet claim already ended.

Hmm, ok, I didn't know that - I always thought ticking the box in this image alerted me to the hour being up:
