3121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we entering the era of CBDCs? on: June 09, 2022, 07:22:42 AM
Why should this be any bad? I mean we had XRP which has been highly centralized and it was ruled by 2 people who are at the top of Ripple company and it has been doing well, it has been top 10 for many many years and people are acting as if that is a good coin for the past decade or so. If that is fine, then why shouldn't CBDC be any worse?

I believe that we should not be doing anything bad, we should be hoping that it would do well enough and that would be peaceful solution. Let the nations do their own CBDC and the people who would like to use it like me, would end up using it over things like USDT and the ones who do not want to, could stay away from it.

Let's see what will happen in game 3, I guess the majority are expecting the Warriors to win, so if the Warriors will fail then maybe the discussion will favor the Celtics which is the home team and I already expect that people will stay Celtics are not a good home team. LOL.

Anyway, let's just enjoy the game tomorrow, have a good sleep, and watch the game in the morning because that's what I'm going to do.
I believe that majority believes Warriors will win because they know what they are doing much better than Celtics. Don't get me wrong, Celtics is a good team but they could just get excited about such a game.

It is basically role reversal, when in 2016 Lebron played with calm and fire at the same time, he managed to make Warriors fear him, and he played in a such way that Warriors stopped playing the great basketball they played that year, the 73-9 season Warriors, and missed scoring for like what 2-3 minutes in a row? During the same period Lebron and his co didn't score much neither, just 3 points by Kyrie, but Lebron had that calm experience he needed. Same with Warriors against Celtics this year.

I completely understand that no one wants to give money for free. Perhaps I am more used to other kind of bonuses. For example on bitcasino when you won in competition, you have to wager that amount 1x. But here if I deposit a hundred, to be able to get another two for free I had to wager 2500 with 100. Perhaps I am not a very experienced player, but that seems rather impossible to me. I had to make a win streak of 25 all-ins in table games, or spend a lot of time at slots. This looks more like a competition, then a welcome bonus.
I understand, sometimes you may face things that you are not familiar with, competitions to wager and be at the top etc etc could be a bit different. However, in almost all cases of rollover and deposit bonus, there is either 40x or something similar, meaning if you deposit 100 bucks, then you need to wager 4k in order to get the bonus in your account.

It is not really that impossible, we are talking about wagering amount here, meaning you just need to wager and win. Even if you do like 90% chance to win, just for 25 times, there is a good chance you could end up winning it all, not saying you will, but that is the easy part of getting the bonus.

this is a somewhat delicate issue, I personally don't have any problems with giving KYC either, it's something that seems common to me, because in almost everything the KYC is required a lot, even in the Exchanges they demand it, I don't know if I said it here, but a long time ago I had to withdraw funds from Binance and I was surprised that they asked me for an additional KYC, like to verify that the one that was requesting the KYC, then for an exchange that is level 1A that requires KYC from the principle for its verification, sometimes it is understandable that a casino asks for it because it is money that is being handled and in most cases it is usually enough, everything is to have greater security.
The exchange bit changed the whole approach to it but I disagree with it a lot. In 90%+ of the nations that I am aware of, trading bitcoin is not an illegal thing, but 90%+ of the nations I know makes gambling an illegal thing. I am not entirely sure why, because if "addiction" is the only reason, we literally have nations with drugs that are legalized and gambling allowed.

My nation for example have terrible things going on, hell cigarettes and drinking booze kills you, and yet people banned gambling some 30+ years ago for some reason. But, that's the law. Meaning my government can know about me trading on an exchange, but not really need to know me gambling.
3125  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook |250k$ Easter giveaway | VIP | on: June 08, 2022, 02:34:26 PM
that is really impressive
this was 1 attempt with 180 balls or 180 attempts?
I'm not so familiar on how Plinko is played.

will look into it
this got me curious
This is really what is called having very good luck, of course by 18.1usd having a tremendous lying is spectacular! I am also playing Plinko and sometimes Game Crash, also Coinflip is one of the games that hook me, but playing Plinko did not have made an apuset of this style. But were they already paid? $ 10K can very well aware of everything that remains of the year.

Here in duelbits everything is possible, so it seems nothing out of the ordinary, this type of platform has been very successful and will continue to have it.

This type of profits makes other junators want to have the same fate, and they may repeat it again, so you have to play very responsibility to see if you get out with that touch of luck.
That guy won the 10k challenge and gave the money away for someone else if I am not wrong. However, the bet itself stands, so if he won anything that was a thousand dollars and nothing more. This was talked a while back, someone else said that they won prior and there were talks about if that person told the truth and the bet was removed and all of that.

In return botairtx ended up giving away his wins and got the thousand dollars to boast right now and his credibility as well because he gave away 10k that he could have kept. We still are not 100% sure if the "real" winner is actually the winner, but we know that he got the money from botairtx for sure.
3126  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: June 08, 2022, 08:46:03 AM
Botany and agriculture is something that should be getting a lot more attention these days. Remember, we are growing as population, sure maybe we are slowed down a lot, but there are still too many people and the number is still going up, even though it is not as fast as it used to be. That means we are going to need more and more food, and we are going to need something that would benefit people with a much smaller land.

I keep saying that farming needs to move into buildings already, people who are still using huge lands to farm, are the old ways, and anyone who buys a whole tall building, and farms there, with workers, they will be the ones that will be the next Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, warren buffet, bill gates or whatever of our next generation. Anyone who builds an agriculture corp that raises foods in buildings will be next richest person.
3127  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLucy.com 🎰 200% deposit bonus, 🕡 valid for 48 hours! on: June 08, 2022, 07:48:00 AM
If I have understood it correctly, in addition I have to wager x25 these 100 bucks to be able to obtain a deposit bonus. Not an expert in wagering, but that seems a lot to get these free hundred. I would even say it is rather risky. I would have used dice and set a 95% win chance to get this x25 wager, but there is no dice at bitlucy. Slots - must be very lucky to catch a multiplier, table games - this is always a 50/50 win chance to me.
Well, when you are giving away free money away, there needs to be some requirements otherwise what is the point. So, let's assume that they do 200% deposit bonus, and then they put the wagering requirement to a low place, like let's say 2x wagered, then how are they going to make any profit at all?

You could wager a good amount with a high return, like 90% chance to win, and 90% of the people will hit it and take the money out withdraw it and never come back. That would be a bad idea, so the better one is having rollover, and 25x is not a bad one neither, there are some places that require 40x as well so it could be quite bad for you if it was like that.
3128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 07, 2022, 09:49:29 PM
I'm also not just fixated on teams in the PL because it's best for Dybala if he chooses to leave then it would be better to accept offers from teams outside Serie A. Because so far we've only got strong rumors that Dybala has always been linked with Inter and Roma and it looks like a possible transaction, due to rumors with other teams like just untrue news or hoaxes. For example, there is a lot of linking about Mane going to Munich and Liverpool going to sign Dybala, because basically there hasn't been a team that Dybala has chosen himself but there have been a lot of rumors like that.
I am not sure if Dybala would prefer to go to another Serie A team, that would not make it sensible for him to switch teams, at that point he might as well stay in Juventus as well, I mean it would only mean that he is not happy in Juventus and willing to switch teams no matter which team, and I doubt that is the case.

He wants to get paid a lot more, and I believe that if he does that with EPL teams then he could get paid a lot more. That depends on the team of course, like Liverpool doesn't really pay a huge ton of money, but United and City does for example. So he needs to go to EPL, and to a team that could pay him well enough. I believe Newcastle would be the perfect place for him.
3129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 07, 2022, 08:04:47 PM
If Sebastian Vettel was racing just for money, he would do everything he can not to lose his place in Ferrari. He had a quite big yearly salary at Ferrari as far as I can remember now. He must be earning 40 million dollars per year then. But now he is earning even less than the half of that money, 15 million dollars. He still wants to be a part of this sport by racing for another team. He is having big problems with the car at Aston Martin for now but he must be still enjoying his time in F1.
You may think that "doing everything he can to stay there" is a thing, but if a team doesn't want you, you are gone. Vettel won 4 in a row, which is why he moved to Ferrari, and gave them the closest they got to a championship in a long time, but he failed, and that is why Ferrari decided to pack it in, get young stars, and then start making decisions based on this year's car, instead of focusing what Mercedes already did. They could have been the Red Bull of last year, they could have kept Vettel and spent all that money on that car, and win just one cup, but instead they decided to focus on the future of the sport and wins they may get now.
3130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US energy company opens mining facility in Middle East to use stranded natural.. on: June 07, 2022, 09:21:30 AM
I get that using crypto mining for such a deal would definitely work out well enough, but that doesn't mean that we should be expecting all the people who are in energy business to start using mining neither.

I had a friend who works as an engineer in a wind turbine company, they have like 20+ of them all around the same place, not side by side so it is a long distance up in the hills, but they are in the same vicinity of each other. He saw that they could use like some excess amount that’s left, and calculated that the amount of profit you could make using that energy is so small that the whole operation would not be really worth it, because energy companies are making THAT much profit, where bitcoin mining looks nothing at all.
3131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 06, 2022, 09:58:56 PM
I have to say Vettel may not be racing just for the money, but he definitely likes the money part for sure. He is racing in a terrible car right now, barely fighting for points, you think that he would be willing to race with such a horrible team and a car, without the money part? He can't be getting into another seat where he would be getting paid more, so that is why he picked Aston Martin.

If he can find a seat like McLaren who definitely needs a veteran like Vettel, and would get paid the same exact amount, he would definitely accept it. When he started out in Aston Martin that could be a price drop for him, but that was mainly because that's all he got as an offer.

And you mostly win back the money you pay for those loot boxes in RLB tho.  Which is pretty good since you can stake them in the 'lottery' which is another good way of putting it.  And smart tbh.

And this is just me, but I think with how good the site is, RLB could be one undervalued token.  It could be a good idea to start acquiring some during the bear market.  The chart doesn't really look good atm but give it a few months or so...  Don't fade.
I believe that "undervalued" is a tricky thing in the crypto world. Meaning, we are talking about something that is valued by the people and have nothing else that would value it. Whatever the price is, it is always going to be what the people deem it to be priced and that's it.

However, with the logic that we are in a bear market right now and the price is low, we could say that RLB could go up a lot as well when we hit the bull run. Because not only it will go up thanks to market going up during a bull run, but also there will be plenty of people who will buy it for this purpose as well, casino related stuff, and that "may" make it go up faster.
3133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Portfolio for longterm investment on: June 06, 2022, 08:29:46 PM
I am pretty upset that BNB is not on the list. I just love it so much and I believe that everyone should take another look at it. I get that some people may dislike it, and that is fine because we all have the right to dislike coins. However, when you list stuff that are not even in top 20, but remove BNB from the list then it looks just mean Cheesy.

Not to be rude, but there are some coins there which should not be invested by anyone ever, like Shiba Inu? Really? You want us to think that it would be awesome to invest into Shiba Inu? I feel like that would be the very last thing that I would ever put money into, that is just me of course, maybe others may disagree and like the coin, what can I say.
3134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 06, 2022, 06:38:12 PM
I am not sure if I should wager on this or not. I did it on the first night, and lost almost all games. How are you guys deciding which teams will win? Based on the odds alone? Because, I am the proof that odds do not work, lost plenty of games where the favorites lost, and probably will happen again. Nation's league is unlike any other international game that I played before and I am guessing that it will probably go on like that for a long time.

I have to say the best thing to do right now would be to keep on staying away from it, at least for me. But, if I see a game that I would love to watch on tv, then I may reconsider my stance on betting on this.
3135  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest everything looking bearish on: June 06, 2022, 09:56:31 AM
Investing in crypto doesn't always make a profit and sometimes it is a loss,
especially considering the current market conditions which is not an easy thing to make a decision,
the most important thing is to keep trying and the more we have more experience it will also make us better
That is only viable if we are talking about a situation where you will get a loss and then sell it instead of keep holding it. This market doesn't mean a loss for the people who are still holding, if you buy at 50k and it drops to 30k and then goes to 60k and that's when you sell, you just made a 10k profit, so as you can see even after a drop that doesn't mean it has to be a loss.

But, if you buy at 50k and sell at 49k right away, even that would be a loss. This is why I always say that if it is bitcoin that you bought, then do not sell it for a loss ever no matter what is going on, always try to have more and more because that is how you make a profit.
3136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A single trading tool is not enough on: June 06, 2022, 07:10:24 AM
Honestly if you are a smart trader you can make money even from bear markets just by being smart and calculated with your moves. I give you an example I saw how people made money even when everyone else was losing money to the Luna attack or scam whatever. So smart traders knew the price will plummet and they opened short positions against Luna and as the price continued to drop they made thousands and millions of dollars just by repeating it.

We do need to understand that it's not that easy and that is why I didn't try it myself but if you have some knowledge and experience and know-how and when to short and long a particular coin, you can actually make a decent chink of money. Maybe start with a small amount and learn how it's done and then once you feel you have mastered the art of leverage and futures trading, go big.
That was a risky move though, because even though the price of Luna dropped, there were times when it spiked high for a while, it was instant of course and responded with a bigger crash, but that would mean that all of your short positions to be filled and gone.

Tons of Long futures people took advantage of that as well, they did long positions on something they knew would go down, but they knew that they could have increased it just enough to make profit from the short positions before they sold it all. So even if you are a veteran of crypto doing the right thing, you may end up with a problem in your hands if you do not time your trades right.

Eriksen is a great player, just because he had some health issues, which was a serious heart attack if I am not wrong, doesn't mean that he is a bad one.

However, I still disagree that he should keep on playing, I mean didn't this guy already made more money than we would make in our whole lifetime? If he invested carefully, he should have enough to never have to work ever again, aside from that if he takes up a staff position which he could, then he would keep on making more money than us as well, at least hundreds of thousands a year. So all in all, I would highly suggest him to take a stepback and think about it, he could be good, and young to retire, but does it worth the risk?
3138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 05, 2022, 10:21:34 PM
Is it just me or is this one of the worst competitions you have ever seen in a long long time? I mean national ones never look good to me compared to league ones for sure, if it was such a great and loved thing then we wouldn't really have the whole season for domestic league and just few games on the summer for the nations, we would have nations playing whole season instead, but it would have been boring.

I believe that this is even a lower level, like world cup is at least a bit more fun, it's once every 4 years, and provides a certain level of hype because of that, even that would suck if it was every year. Now we have this, which is an unknown bad thing and I really dislike it.
3139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 05, 2022, 10:04:06 PM
In my opinion, they just need players to fill the void when Benzema can't play. Because as we have seen, when Benzema was absent Real Madrid lost a figure up front. Vini and Rodrigo are good, but it's not enough to replace Benzema's role up front. A few times they have played without Benzema and as a result they have struggled to score goals, this is a job to do well.
They may need someone to replace when Benzema can't play well anymore, but they shouldn't get a striker on the season when Benzema may get the ballon d'or, I mean dude lead the UCL goals, led the league in goals and led the league in assists if I am not wrong, or he was up in both of them at least. So that is a proof enough to know that dude was playing like he never played before, he has been far better than superb.

Don't get me wrong, get some 20 year old from brazil that will play well in the future, nobody says don't do that, but to get Mbappe when Benzema playing like this, and paying 50+ million for him each year and paying like 100 million signing bonus? That would be the wrong move.
3140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Signal to Start Trading and the Signal to Close Trading on: June 05, 2022, 09:51:25 PM
ndicators are only for giving a general idea about the market movement and not for accurately predicting the movement. Moreover, technical analysis is a pseudo-science and is more or less correct in 50-50 cases because a lot of factors are involved here.
Indicators are actually helping in prediction to know the direction the market will go, either up or down, but there are sometimes that indicators may fail, there are sometimes you may think the indicator failed to give you the right prediction, but later the market will correct itself to the direction the indicators are pointing to. I have used indicators and they work successfully. But no using only indicators will help, also self discipline and risk management are all important.
You are right that indicators will not make the trading successful all alone. You need other stuff, experience and risk/reward ratio correctly calculated is another one. I personally believe that the indicator reading is just a part of the trading world, and it is not the whole part.

I know for a fact that I had to do some stuff that would change things, but it will not be a simple change, I had to relearn all I knew about indicators in order to make sure that I didn't do any mistakes, because there were plenty of times when I lost money when in fact I did everything correctly like I should. It is not going to be a big major shock to anyone, but indicators do not have 100% success rate, if they did, we would all be simply using them and be wealthy.
