3121  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Gobrrrrrr on: March 22, 2022, 02:20:52 PM
I am trying to place an order for a few of the Alpen Coins and cannot find the United States listed as a region.  It shows for US Minor Outlying Islands only, and if I select that the shipping seems quite a bit high for the coins.

Anyone else having the same issue?

not sure, I always got mine direct from alpencoin.ch but they are sold out there - it could be that he doesnt ship to the US - I will ask him directly and update my post shortly.

edit:

I asked him and yes he has disabled shipping to the US - but he says he reached out to you directly via email @markzellers

further edit:

he has enabled shipping for all but the seedsigner/seedmint items (he does not want to compete with them here in the US)

3127  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust abuse on: March 21, 2022, 05:20:19 AM
From my viewpoint - I like both yogg and krog and it saddens me to see such strife between the two.

But no alt should be used to garner merit or trust or be used to exclude or even include anyone into a trust list.

To do so is an abuse - was it intentional? I dont know, but once identified, it should be corrected.
3128  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Sale] Balletcrypto Unconfiscatable Las Vegas 2022 Limited Edition on: March 21, 2022, 01:21:14 AM
last day to order is tomorrow - I will be placing the order after work. I will then be in contact with those who made reservations once they arrive to arrange shipping.

Thank you everyone who joined the group buy!

3133  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Is it worth collecting old ASIC miners? on: March 18, 2022, 06:08:13 PM
there are collectors of them.

I currently have a s1, s3, s5, bfl monarch, knc titan and a couple others that currently elude me as to their names for old miners.

I would like to eventually have the space to have room for more and have them displayed. One of everything is my motto Smiley
3134  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD OUT] 20 x Bitbills anniversary commemorative Coldkey sets on: March 18, 2022, 06:05:12 PM
I hope that the core products stay with bitcoin though - as a collector I will try to get any ck's that are made but I prefer bitcoin collectibles to others chains.

There was no reservations granted to anyone.
The 2nd batch of 20 sets will be put up for sale around the end of the month. Smiley

Only the Gold and Silver ones are going to be auctioned.

gotcha - I was only speculating at why there were gaps.
3135  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD OUT] 20 x Bitbills anniversary commemorative Coldkey sets on: March 18, 2022, 05:21:31 PM
Hello:)

There is something i still don't understand: on one hand i read: "Up for sale today are 20 sets of the plain (white cards) Bitbills 10th anniversary commemorative Coldkey" and on the other hand sets ranging from number 11 to 50 has been sold. Is is a mistake? Sorry...

look closely at the range - many numbers are missing - could be that some people got early access and those numbers were reserved for them - or the ones missing could be the ones in the upcoming auction(s).
3136  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD OUT] 20 x Bitbills anniversary commemorative Coldkey sets on: March 18, 2022, 04:12:23 PM
I would have been more interested in the NFT's if they could actually tie to the BTC addresses but on SOL there is nothing really connecting the two as far as I understand - please correct me if I am wrong.

No, that is correct (for now), however Solana was chosen not just for it's speed and low barrier to entry (Phantom wallet seems much easier than Metamask, even for me)! , but also for it's unique capabilities beyond other chains in terms of programming. Wink

That said, we hope we can deliver something in the future that will bring the two "closer together", or "Linked", as you say. Wink

Thanks for your thoughts, much appreciated! Smiley

understood - I basically despise NFT's in general but if I own a physical, it is nice to have the NFT to go with it. But for me, it is better to have the NFT tied to the chain that is the same as the physical item. IMO makes zero sense to have BTC physicals with NFT's on anything other than XCP. The two should go hand in hand - that is my opinion at least. I wont be buying any NFT's that are not on the same chain as the physical.

I have the following:

orange 22/50
green 11/20 - my green one is about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch shorter than the rest of the posters
red - mine has 2/18 - which PJ told me is the date he signed it, also not a production number
black w/ no border and not numbered
monero konference # 122 - not sure if your listed production total of 100 is correct

- I need that last one you posted. have not seen it prior to today.

3140  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Anyone seen/have one of these APMEX bitcoin barcode rounds? on: March 17, 2022, 12:49:17 PM
I did not buy the gold one - but I do have  the regular silver one.
Ah yes!  It slipped my mind: before I bought the round I'd seen the silver one available and passed on it.  I would have preferred it, since I'm not a big fan of gold-plated anything, especially silver coins.  It just seems icky to me as well as an unnecessary in a way that strikes me as akin to a natural beauty like Jennifer Lawrence wearing pancake makeup for the red carpet walk.

Did you take your coin out of the baggie?  Just curious.

yes its it airtite
