3121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔻 List of Casinos and Sportbooks to Avoid on: November 29, 2020, 03:08:52 PM
Please, add this one - https://bet1-x00495.com/

This is 1xBet, in fact, the same (I even think that they has one owner) as 1xbit. If you betting and winning, they will at first ask you for KYC and then block you. So they don't even scam you, but also will left your data to themselves. Scammy book
How strange of a URL this is in first place and imagine playing on such domains. I tried to visit the website but it loads in some other language and the website loading time was like 2-3 minutes and still not fully loaded so not just scammers they are a team of horrendous developers as well it seems. Don't mean to offend any developers but the site is seriously terrible.

They ask for KYC and block? That's the funniest thing because why even ask for verification when they have no intentions of paying. Maybe they are going to sell your ID and make some extra bucks with it.
3122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who actually moves the price of bitcoin? on: November 28, 2020, 02:15:56 PM
People who buy bitcoin are the ones who move and manipulate the price of bitcoin, but whales are sometimes the reason when bitcoin is making a huge movement to its price because they are the ones who hold the large number of bitcoins. It is why when the price is high they start to sell their bitcoins, and if when the price is low they start to buy bitcoins.
I do feel there are other reasons as well because I mean the coins are not moved recently from the rich list as far as I know and the price keeps rising and dropping so it means the whales are not the only reason behind the mystery of the bitcoin pricing. It might be organizations who buy big amount and pump the price and then sell and make profit.

At times bitcoin price gives me goosebumps because how quickly things can change and there is not even a single guy who can confidently and correctly predict the movement direction let alone the amounts and how long it would continue.
3123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow a trading process. on: November 28, 2020, 01:28:40 PM
while following the process we also have to look at the other factors to evaluate the profits.
If you follow the trading process which involves making mistake, learning and improving then you don't have to think about profits actually because you will have profits automatically coming your way. That is what the OP is focusing on because once you start following the procedure the profits follow you. It is similar to working hard in the gym and maintaining the good diet routine and your body will improve itself you don't have to focus on that separately.

I have myself faced losses at times despite following the process. So it's better to stick to strategy and act according to the market rather than being determined with the process.
Loss is just part of the process and you have to improve from mistakes because that is what the learning and trading process is all about. I don't think there is a single trader even born who didn't made mistakes but quickly they learned and improved classify them.
3124  Economy / Economics / Re: this pandemic have made me do research on things i never tought before economy on: November 28, 2020, 08:08:23 AM
Is the solution bill on heavy taxes we are to pay where by things have not been so good, workers hardly get paid out here in Africa as in Nigeria as whole. The crisis in Nigeria is way out of explanation. I keep saying this it's with the help of God intervention that things will come back to normal.
With the God's intervention or maybe with the government starting to do something for their country and people instead of just trying to win the elections and then do nothing. I still believe things can be improved in countries with dire situation if only the government and the citizens are on the same page and towards building their nation.

Higher taxes are the only solution, I kind of agree because someone has to cover the damage and it has to come from the taxes but there needs to be encouragement from the government in small countries to help their low level entrepreneurs get back on their feet because as much as you want the taxes to be collected if the government can push small scale industries towards normality it would help their cause by a big margin.
3125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: November 28, 2020, 05:39:07 AM
Recently made sure that all the same single bets are better than the express! Especially in the English Premier League, where the teams play unpredictably lately! Cheesy
I used to love making express bets, but now I can't boast of winning... Single bets are much more likely to win...
I would suggest you to try the new bet builder feature because it is quite amazing to merge multiple bet options of a single match into a big bet and on the same event as well so you don't have to follow multiple games. The biggest problem with parlay is that you have to keep a track of so many games and it feels tiring to do so and hence bet builder is a nice feature so you just have to watch one game and yet get big time odds.

I was betting at bitsler a few days back when I saw someone actually won a parlay with decent odds and shared in the chat. There was soccer league going on and I think he got some good points for that bet, if he shared that in the bitsler forum.
3126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 28, 2020, 04:53:56 AM
It's tough but you need to developed this control if you really planning to succeed not just for short-term benefits but for better survival. Inside gambling activities there are lots of "what if" you need to overcome yourself to keep your composure and stay with your original plans.
Control will automatically follow once your bet size and bankroll is only what you can afford to lose and is not part of the money which was intended for other purposes or essential needs. At times gamblers are saying that they have lose everything and they are going to suicide, I have seen such things happen live in most chats on casinos so it all happened because they actually betted more than the allocated funds for gambling.

Gambling is not a hobby anymore once you start worrying about the loses and get excited about the wins because it indicates that the amounts are big and now things are about to get worst.

As long as you are not hurt by the loses and are not too happy about wins you are good.
3127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 27, 2020, 03:36:21 PM
The salary cap deal was the issue for Lakers. When you make a deal with any player, you have to keep paying that player for the guaranteed amount without question, there is no way you can avoid that. However Lakers wanted to get Deng out of the salary cap and that way they could have signed another player, the aim wasn't to pay him nothing, they have to, that was never the intention to begin with.

There are many many players who got paid a ton of money they do not deserve in NBA, and the sad thing is, they do end up getting paid but they also end up getting away from the league as well. They just take the money and they know that if they resign and look for another team they could actually get minutes, they will be paid 1/10 or even less so they end up staying with huge contract and a lot of money which everyone would prefer, but get no minutes anymore basically being retired by force.
3128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's good about BCH? on: November 27, 2020, 06:17:08 AM
I suggest you visit Bitcoin cash website and read it, bitcoin cash has an extraordinary vision and mission, I am sure bitcoin cash will be more developed than other coins, there are still many communities that support bitcoin cash, as you know even though the community has split into Bitcoin SV and also yesterday Bitcoin cash node but bitcoin cash still has a lot of enthusiasts today.
I don't know the technical aspects and their goals but as an investor and a trader I always like BCH because firstly, I got some coins for free when the fork happened and BCH were distributed and second, the price has never done too bad and it felt to me like it will die when price was really low in 2018 but it is doing good again so yeah I like it.

Is the Good Pricing not enough reason to be considerd why SEBA or even other banks accepts it? I mean, bch is not as bad as what you think. Yeah! It may lack important features which can a coin posses for real time applications but it is currently Rank 5 in the market. Which means many people are investing into it thus will benefit their bank in the future if they'll adopt this thing. When it comes to business aspect, it was a nice move Cheesy.
Yes and given it was a forked coin, I believe it has done pretty well because I cannot think of a coin that was forked and has done better than BCH so I do believe in BCH and although not an expert in analyzing technical aspects but the price keeps me faithful.
3129  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: November 26, 2020, 07:08:52 PM
You know there is no way Trump can make a comeback when even republican filled supreme court throws out his case. Plus he already started to make the transition of power process as well while still trying to claim he won, dude is basically doing one thing and saying another at this point. Which isn't shocking, this is trump we are talking about he is known to be a supreme liar himself.

In any case, for the people who would like to see Biden as president (because people who think trump will still win are too out of their minds) do not be worried, everything goes perfectly according to law, Biden IS the president elect and he is going to be president without any problems, if you are ever worried because of all the talks, remember they are all lies and there is nothing wrong.
3130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can't always hit the right target on: November 26, 2020, 05:11:02 PM
Well I like the point made in the OP that one should move on after the project they promoted did not paid out or did not worked out as planned but one needs to also focus on understanding if that happens more than than it should happen then you are making a mistake in either recognizing good projects to work or you feel greedy and pick higher paying bounties.

Yeah there will be times when you have done everything right and still the profits did not came through the bounty campaign as expected so in that cases you just have to take it and move on like some traders make good investment yet ends up in lose for them. So as long as you pick good bounty campaigns and still things turn out unfavorable that's fine but make sure you do the research and don't fall for greed.
3131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 26, 2020, 04:26:32 PM
I would say both of them are not on their primes anymore at all and I understand that Tyson haven't boxed a lot longer than Jones Junior but at the same time at their peak Tyson was a much much better fighter as well, they weren't even remotely close to each other in talent, don't get me wrong we all know how great RJJ was when he fought but we also know that at his peak Tyson was probably the best boxer the world has ever seen as well, few names could ever topple him.

So, I would say it is a fair fight between them. Still it is obvious that fight will not look like a real fight, it would look like those non-boxers fighting type of cringy things.
3132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 26, 2020, 07:13:59 AM
The gambling site that will put this player protection feature on their platform, is really concern about the welfare of their players, but their revenues will suffer, they will have good feedback but their revenue and income will suffer, they will have to think between the two what they want to achieve.
There is no sane businessman that will do this, this is the anti-thesis of business practice, putting customers first before profit. In my opinion, this is not a good practice anyway and there are other ways to get a good review without the revenue, give them something for free when they register as a player, something complimentary like how physical casinos give free drinks to the players. Besides, stop loss feature will not work all the time as most gamblers do not have a self-control even if they say it.
You're right but if a casino cares for its players then maybe they have less profit but they will be more popular among gamblers slowly because the community is very mature and they know which site cares for them and which one does not.

Stop loss will not work in crypto based casinos though because people often make more than 1 account and most of the casinos do not require kyc from their players so they cannot limit the betting for any players. Also speaking of stop loss one should have enough knowledge and control about when they need to stop gambling and when they have lost enough.
3133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 and its impact on gambling on: November 25, 2020, 12:29:48 PM
So the elections are finally over and we did see a lot of unrest since the people were getting heated up due to debatable arguments and their beliefs.
It was never in doubt but because Trump made those baseless accusations against Biden about election fraud it caused a chaos and Trump bettors got a lifeline even though it was never going to help.

There had been news about a person who used 5 million dollars on Trump.!!!!!!!
Must be more upset than Trump for his loss lol and I don't know why people are betting so high on elections because there are better things to bet in life.

I don't think there is ever going to be any impact of anyone winning the elections on gambling apart from the obvious wins and loses people go through and it is funny this election was so popular among people and by the way this was the first and probably the last time I made a bet on elections.
3134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not trade Alts with BTC these days, You will just lose on: November 24, 2020, 08:14:17 PM
We didn't know how far bitcoin will go. if we are trading altcoin with bitcoin and that will just make us get a big loss caused by when we are trading it and bitcoin price is still increasing a lot and that will be eating our profit gradually. It's better to hold our bitcoin and trade altcoin with stable coin pair to decrease the risk.
The market is still getting hyped.
A good trader can just use the market and make profits so I don't agree with any of the myths like don't trade altcoins when the bitcoin market is going up or just hold the bitcoins because trading and investing are two different skills and one cannot overshadow the other. I have seen people making more than 1k profit just using small bankroll and taking advantage of the leverage trading option because they know the bull run is going to continue.

Not all the altcoins are bad either and there is no particular downfall in the altcoin market, yes they might have not matched the bull run that was there in the bitcoin market but each of these markets are separate and no need to compare two different markets and expect hype in one because of the other. There will be time soon when alts will experience a bull run and we will complain abut bitcoin then.
3135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Extreme greed on the market on: November 24, 2020, 07:24:04 PM
we know that we are in a period of the market which is experiencing extreme greed and I do not see this changing during the next days because people have a lot of hope that we are going to reach a new ATH during that time
So damn true, a lot of people are believing that there is going to be another ATH, and even the price when you look at the way it’s been going you don’t need anyone to tell you that the price will be reaching a new ATH price, the moment you look at the chart you mind tells you that.

But, once the price is above the last ATH price you’re going to see a lot of people panicking, that’s when you’re likely going to see a fall, because people will be afraid that it’s going to fall now that it has passed the last all time high price.
3136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some till don't understand crypto and bitcoin on: November 24, 2020, 04:05:59 PM
SoftBank CEO said crypto will be useful but Bitcoin is hard to understand, but what is crypto without bitcoin? And again how is Bitcoin so hard to believe? Is there anyone on here is find bitcoin hard to understand? What's your thought on this?
For me, right from the start there was nothing difficult to understand about Bitcoin, I understood every aspect of it. But that won’t be the same for other people, everyone is totally different and if I find it to be easy as pie, others are not going to see it that way until the time is taken to teach them how it works.

It’s just like some people I told about Bitcoin, difference between me and them: when I started Bitcoin I needed nobody’s help in understanding what it’s all about, I studied about it , there were already so many articles there to help me understand it, and depending on how further I want to go with it, but when I tell other people they always want me to guide them through everything, even when they study it online they still need my help.
3137  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it a good time to get in or not on: November 24, 2020, 03:22:15 PM
Can one still dare to invest in Bitcoin when price is skyrocketing this high? I remember that some invested in Bitcoin at 20,000$ and the whole market started crashing on them, before they could pull out their money it's already too late and till today they haven't recovered their money, is this a good time to get in or it's already too late?
Those people you’re talking about that invested around the 2017’s $20,000 price, if they really invested an amount that they can risk, it wouldn’t be a big deal as they will have to leave it there till now, when the price got to $18,000 since last week they already recovered almost all their investment, and it’s just $2000 left.

I don’t think the market is stopping here, there is still more of the uptrend to come, the market will keep going and we might be in for another bull ride this year or next. And to answer your question, you can still invest, it’s not late yet, but you have to be at alert and know what’s up with the market.
3138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 23, 2020, 06:47:27 PM
I should say regardless of who gets affected by the price or not, if I stop or increase or if you do, we can look at stats at casinos and what they say about it. For example there were few CEO's (or owners) of crypto casinos that talks here on bitcointalk as well, they are pretty known, and they talked about how increasing prices made people gamble a lot more, and not just in dollar terms but in bitcoin terms as well but they also said they get new customers when the price increases as well, which may not be around here.

So that means when the price increases, there are more people who are interested in crypto which is not a shock to anyone, but apparently some of them goes to casinos to gamble when they get involved with crypto and that is a bit interesting to learn.
3139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Crypto SPORTS Bookies VOTE on: November 23, 2020, 05:57:36 PM
While I surely saw some really good sites on here, I'll give a tip for the beginners cause I'm sure we've all been there, don't trust all the betting sites that you see recommended on a forum, if you are curious about one do your research on it before investing.
I would say you can trust few of them although I am not responsible if things go the other way, I would recommend a few which I have personally tested and felt no issues playing.

1- Stake.com: It has one of the best support staff and bonuses are great but sometimes lacks on features when it comes to sports betting like no player props for NBA

2- Sportsbet.io: Great features like bet builder and player props but sometimes I feel like they can be better rewarding although they do give a lot of free bets and bonuses.

3- Cloudbet: Good but had a lot of problems recently so not sure how to judge them but they have better sports odds hence taking into consideration.
3140  Economy / Economics / Re: 2020-2021 best year if You Want to become rich no skills needed on: November 23, 2020, 08:59:43 AM
every time someone wants to invest, all forms of risk must be ready to accept because I think the price of gold requires a high level of patience, especially if they have to bear the capital they use of the loan,It really scares someone when things don't go according to expectations.
You bumped a few months old thread actually but a good thread in times when BTC price is breaking all records Grin

I agree that while investment in Bitcoins seems like the best idea but it is only because the price is doing good recently but as it drops a little bit people will question their own decision to invest so yeah one must consider all the aspects of such investments because these flashy investments as much rewarding as they are they can be equally punishing as well because of the volatility.

I like the idea of investing in Bitcoins and hold some myself but I always have the thought in the back of my mind that it can go wrong as well and I am okay with that and hence still holding.
