Bitcoin is volitile because all you need is .00000001 single trade to change its value.

To bad it would only change its value after a% amount being sold or purchased.

If it's not working then report the issue with crash log. Re-install old verison until the the update is released.

So far I am using it with no problems.

Does your system just restart? Is your cpu usage at 100%?
