That's really not that unrealistic even. At 10,000 satoshi, supply of 75,000,000 = $4,500,000 market cap. MINT has already been beyond that once.  Could you imagine if it went really big one day though... like $10-$50M cap. Each coin would be ~50,000 satoshi. That should be our goal! With multipool working properly, our top is around 50000 Satoshi  When mining one Blackcoin would exceed cost of electricity When you store value in Black only inflation can win with BC. But don't worry 40+years for LTC... btc mayby 20-30 years for BTC |

I feel so sad that the value is dropping.  Grow calluses on your heart and hands, the weak never profit, they'll sell until they have nothing left to sell then cry when the price rockets back upward. This coin has a great community, easy to get your hands on etc. We just need more development. One poster above is going to start selling GPUs for blackcoin. Instead of worrying about the price on an exchange why not help us give this coin value? Make graphics, faucets, games, tell your friends, etc. It'll come back, even the useless coins have their day in the sun. or help me with smurf voting on Cryptsy : ). I bought some cryptsy points to vote to. I will try get to 600. |

How about we let the market dictate the price and we don't need 273 pages of wining and crying about people selling there coins. On the flip side, for every sale there is a buyer, but you guys are never at fault for buying low? It's just the selling low that you hate? Sounds like a catch 22, or just another way to point the finger at someone else.

I think market is dictating price all time not many people cares about what we are writing here or you. If you don't like this thread skip it... I guess it not so easy for you i wonder why you just don't ignore that thread. When i go Doge,LTC,Vertcoin,Darkcoin threads there is same situation all time... Doge have 900+ pages same flood all time who cares : D. Why it goes up why down... In flood of such posts there are also creative ideas and some helpful advises. |

My point was it is so easy to increase the price on this coin. If everyone just buys together that would be it.
we are doing that bro all time : D... Only 2000 BC comming daily-0,005 BTC day and most go to 100k+ stakeholders most of them don't sell anything at this price lvl. Just give us time to eat all cheap it will take w wille but we can do it. I belive that BC is very young. Slow contant price up is better than 5min bump. If I had 10k euro invested, I'd take out at least my investment capital. Fundamentally, there's no future in a "let's issue a few hundred billion coins for the fun of it". Kittehcoin died, despite a reduction to 25bn, and DOGE will die too - the coins in circulation are simply too many and the inflation is bad too. It's bad economic planning from a coin which wasn't even intended to be serious. That's my take on it, at least.
I love the stupid dog face, it's epic trolling with the "such currency", "wow" etc etc, but 10k euro? Just get the capital out so that you won't have RL losses and leave some of the profits behind if by any chance the coin goes to the moon. (Personally I'd also cash out the profit and taking the "risk" of losing a future spike).
Nope... you just don't understand how crypto's work and what Dogecoin is aiming for.... Inflation is good for doge in the long run... Inflation is good to secure a network but it has to be spread out over a long period. If you aim to issue all the coins in one year, then you have a problem in your hands for the future-proofing of the coin. And if you "fix" that with an endless number of coins, you are violating basic economic rules. If you have coin A and coin B and their only difference is the scarcity of A, the price of A will be larger in the long run. This means that coin B is not good as an investment & store of value, except for quick profit making. If you think that the founders of Bitcoin knew not of these things and that DOGEcoin "fixed" their flaw, ok, then sell your house and buy DOGEcoins. Maybe you can buy a mansion. Or you can end up homeless, living on the streets with the dogs  Bitcoin could be mined for 140 years. It means bitcoin is inflation in your whole life. 5B new doge every year means, it is a very small inflation and the inflation is reducing every year. Bitcoin = finite Dogecoin = infinite Bitcoin = scarce Dogecoin = abundant Finite / scarce = better price than infinite / abundant. It's just the way it goes with supply and demand. Basic economics. If you can live more than 140 years, bitcoin is finite. But in your whole life bitcoin is inflation. Dogecoin's inflation rate: 5%, 4.76%,4.5%,4.3%,4.1%,4%,3.8%.... 0.0001%....0.000000001%, what is the different with 0.00001% and 0? Bitcoin's inflation rate is more than 10% for the following years(litecoin' inflation is much more bigger). You have to wait 140 years to 0.00001%.Do you have that time? In reality even more than 140 why ... People are loosing BTC, burnig look cunter party mastercoin... So real inflation is even higher than what we know. |

Well I know you guys said WP only design entries for the website, but unfortunately I don't do WP so here's my work in progress (and possibly disqualified, but I'm having fun with my hobby so it's all good). I went from nothing yesterday to actually adding in some CSS and ripping some icons from Google images. Works fine in FF, Chrome, and IE. This is what I have so far and what it looks like on a 1080p monitor. Unfortunately what looks decent on these monitors here may look crappy on my IPS monitors at home, so I'll have to check that out! (Sorry about image resizing, I'm not doing it, seems either tinypic or bitcoin forum is making it "blurry")  Let me know what you guys think and suggestions to improve (will continue working on this tomorrow, like I said, I can really put in about an hour a day on my web hobby). Nothing is constrained here. Looks clean and efficient. The logo looks to much like bitcoin though. Awsome for me we need something like that GJ. That all depend of point of view: Compare: BC 1% that means your we need now only 0.005BTC to buy all new BC on market if more people are selling their shares we are loosing price but loyal stockholders hold for long run 1%inflation works only in long run. No pools bro because we are full POS that mean you can only buy it on market. Just farm for BTC something like Panda sell for 2sat look at 24BTC 1sat. backup on Mintpal.. Or farm other coins then buy BC. Some people are leaving BC boat that is why price go down but in long run we can eat all BC and at some point price will go up. Some guys are working at pool which will convert some other coins to BC and make it price higher and higher. We have only about 20days but we are growing ^^. |

I mine XSS, but its a very undergroundcoin  so with 5 mhs i make 0.05-0.1 btc a day (if someone buys, its only on CryptoAltex), i dont know if that is very much... Guys i share secret if you mine coins with price 1-2 it's risky by you can get 100% gain just by selling at 2 sat or 200%sat 3 ,look PANDA daily jumps at 1-3sat. And 50BTC sell order are cleared at 1-10 price on cryptorush black magic. Best thing are behind scenes. |

Can I still mine this coin even if I'm not black?
Sure you mine some other coins like we all here and we sell other coins to buy BC simple. Every BC u buy will pump it a bit this is great thing. Someday noone want sell it back on 500level. This is young coin. It not require like DOGE constant amount of BTC like Doge it is easier to mine it by other coins. Other alts due to high amount of new coins can easy loose value if they don't get fresh BTC on time. This is what exactly happened to DOGE  . |
