I sadly don't understand Mandarin, but he said almost ALL miners in Yunnan have been shut-down, now since Yunnan has a bit above 5% of China hashrate, that's at least 4% of the world total hashrate, the current pace is 94.6% so this could be it, however, this isn't the question, the question is, why aren't miners coming back online?

There are many theories I shall say, one that makes a lot of sense is that most miners are already online, the majority of the recent hashrate came from the old gears coming online, there were not many 19 series gears shipped, the world is facing chips shortage, chips price is at sky high and hard to get, there isn't any considerable amount of gears that are shut-down and waiting to come back online, nothing will happen until next year when S19s start to deliver, but even then, the difficulty might really not spike as much as we all think.

There are many reasons why I am not longer a perma bull in regards to difficulty, I think 2021 will be a great year for miners.

صحيح اخي Kavelj22 يوجد بكل تأكيد مئات المواقع التي تبيع المخدرات وغيرها من الممنوعات, انا اثفق مع تحليل صاحب الفيديو "بيرلي سوشيبل" حيث قال ان الحكم كان "قاسيا" نظرا لان Ross Ulbrich كان اول شخص  يمتلك موقع بهدا الحجم وييبيع المخدرات يتم القبض عليه مع كافة ادلة الادانة, لذلك على الاغلب كان الهدف هوا جعله عبرة لمن يعتبر, يعني يمكن القول انه كان كبش الفداء للحد من نشاط المخدرات في الدرك ويب, ولكن هل نحجت هده الخطة ام لا, لايمكننا الجزم.

في اعتقادي انه لم يخلو من الخصال الحسنة, فلاحظ في رسائله عندما طلب اغتيال  Andrew شدد على التأكد من هوية ذلك الشخص وعدم قتل شخص بريء,  في نفس الوقت نظرا لهوسه بمشروعه كان مستعد لقتل اي شخص يعرض نشاطه للخطر, لان  Andrew  و باقي افراد عصابته ال 3 لم يتعدو علىه بشي, كل همه انهم نصابين والنصابين يسيئون لل"business" الخاص به, قد وصل لدرجة الهوس ب Silk Road وكان مستعد لفعل اي شي لحمايه مشروعه, من سوء حظه, الامور انتهى بأسرع مما كان يعتقد.

لازلت انتظر من احدكم التعقيب على الخطاء الفادح الذي ارتكبه النصاب ولم يلاحظه SR  .

That's true phil, but it isn't always a question of efficiency, I don't know how many TH you are getting out of those S17pro when you underclock the life of it, but I am sure the cost per TH at that efficiency is very high, which also means these new S19 boards will do a lot better than the 17 pro once underclocked, but overall this isn't a fair comparison IMO because it isn't just 17 pro vs s19/19 pro, the rack style setup and water cooling is what makes this "special".

The real question now is: How much is it going to cost and whether it will be justifiable to buy the rack over the normal air-cooled S19?

 اخي هده حقائق تم ايجادها من قبل وحدات التحقيق, تمكن فريق التحقيق ايضا من السيطرة على السيرفر الخاص بالموقع بالاضافة الى السيطرة على لابتوب مالك الموقع, اضافة على تهمة تجارة الممنوعات وجه ضد صاحب الموقع اتهامات بالقتل العمد وكانت هده الرسائل هي الدليل على دفعه اموال لتصفية بعض الشخصيات, تم ايضا خداعه من قبل ال F.B.I حيت انه دفع لهم 80 الف دولار ليقتلو شخص ما وقامو بتزيف عملية القتل وارسال صور للضحية بعد ماقامو بتأمينه واخفائه في مكان امن.

ايضا قولك المواقع لن تتحدث مع المجرمين فهدا يجلعني اعتقد انك لا تعلم حقيقة ماهو Silk Road, الموقع يبيع كل شي محظور من مخدرات وعلى الاغلب حتى الاعضاء البشرية, مالك الموقع شخص مجرم حاول استخدام مجرمين لتصفية حساباته, لايوجد اي شي يوحي بأن هده الادلة المقدمة من فريق التحقيقات للمحكمة مزورة, الا لو كانت لديك وجهة نظر اخرى اجهلها.

The hashboard is easy to spot, most of the time it will show 0 Asics or anything below the correct chip number, but it's almost impossible to troubleshoot a bad control board using only the kernel log, the only way would be the obvious things fro ethernet LEDs, miner's LEDs or its ability to load/unload a certain firmware, those will be your positive, but lack of all those things aren't a confirmation of the control board's health, so it's a bit tricky here.

Usually, for those who have 2 miners, it would be a matter of a simple swap to confirm, but since you don't have that, then you would do the rational thing and assume that the PSU is bad, I don't have exact failure figures but it's at least 9 out of 10 times whereby the PSU is bad and not the control board, it might be the control board after all, but what are the odds?

Difficulty goes up 50% it makes, it makes $1.28, bitcoin price goes to 40k, it makes $2.65, BTC at 50k it makes $3.3, BTC at $4, even if difficulty goes 100% up, you still make 2.7$ per day, so if 8 cents becomes profitable with about 100w/th gears, I assume many miners will be so happy.

Perhaps that's just an American thing?, where I live, we use kg/time, water is mass and what you want here is the mass flow rate, so while ton/hour might seem strange to you, it sounds pretty much normal to me  , after all, 1kg of water mass per hour equals 1L per hour, anyway, that is a ton (pun intended) of water to be moved.



There is no back-up pump in the design, a huge SPOF in this, if one decides to go for these, a back-up pump must be installed, someone I know might be getting one of these in Feb, if that happens I will most likely be providing you guys with exclusive videos and images and more details.

Not just in Serbia, it's everywhere, A few months back S9i was going for 30-35$ in China, now it's $75, which is just about 1 month to ROI for the free-power guys, so it makes sense why S9 price doubled.

Next year is going to be interested, the Antracks should be ready by then, a lot of S19/S19pro and T19 will hit the market around Jan and Feb, the new S19j and S19j pro will start shipping around June/July, assuming BTC price doesn't tank, we can effortlessly hit a 50% difficulty increment in 2021.

They look dope, but I'l pass.  , what does everyone think about these Antracks now? of course, prices are still unknown but I will update the topic accordingly.

Pool URL spaces is very common that's why I usually ask people to post their pool settings, hope that you learned a lesson, always remove the spaces until the devs in Bitmain write a simple strip() function which would ignore leading/trailing spaces, but that won't happen anytime soon because they are so busy trying to lock us out of these miners with their stupid signatures and security.

Just to be crystal clear here, my main objective was related to price and availability only, I assumed because east Europe has more mining operation then mining-related stuff would be cheaper and easier to find, but as far as integrity, or lack thereof, I am sure you know much better than I do.


1 - PLEASE don't overclock these gears, they are very very sensitive, they barely run for long enough at stock settings, overclocking them is extremely risky.
2 - The fact that some overclocking was enough to blow those fuses, you might actually be pushing them the max anyway, the same thing would have happened if you had a sudden drop in voltage and your gears needed to draw more amps, so be careful.
