No activity troll. Let it die. They feed on attention and will starve without it.

Lol, nah. I'm just a lurker. Been here since late 2011 and made a name last spring to contact someone. I saved this thread to come back and make fun of later cause it was just too good of a chance to pass up.

The moon was already achieved, for those of us who got in early enough. Looks like you got in around november, thanks for getting me to the moon.

he will have the last laugh later this year when bitcoin is worth 20x what it is now and maybe he will buy his tropical island and send a photo for us!

by the way, where can tropical islands be bought? is there a store somewhere?

RSI says "cheap coins galore! buy buy buy"

where's your coin cheapness indicator?

Interesting... SilkRoad bottom, 400 bottom from February 25th and today bottom.

To take some profit or not. Hm, probably not. 530+ was tempting, I didn't pay attention to it though.
3126  Economy / Speculation / Re: the China PBOC event explained on: March 28, 2014, 02:43:53 AM
I'm not happy for Chinese Bitcoiners as their government idiots are screwing them again but I am happy for Bitcoin world.

Obviously, it would be great if China could be normal for once and Bitcoin to prosper there too but since those lunatics from their government can't be normal than it's better to get rid as soon as possible, and move on.

Is the retrace over already?  Angry

If you want my advice, this retrace will not be over for many hours if not days, and even forever.

Today was an exercise in picking bottoms for longs. not a good day for opening shorts.

Dr. Ly, if you ask me, ask chessnut about that tomorrow. You might get completely different answer  Grin

Seleme, you always misunderstand me. dont mock me. I talk in probabilities, when I note the market is changing, it has strategical significance, not always long term weight. I never knew there was going to be chinese FUD, and yet I sold spontaneously at 577 because I was flexible enough to change as the market changed. dont follow my advice if you dont understand it.

I don't mock you mate, chilling a bit  Grin. Though I don't like TAers who change their mind on such short terms as you do.

I've added this to my post:

Quote
Though I almost agree with him. WOn't give any bold statements and it might go down from here again but I can smell trend reversal coming soon. I don't see lot of interest of selling under 500$.

lol this thread is great. Op is in the poor house, place, right now. No house to be poor in....

Yeah its hilarious the man is out a lot of money right now.  It's no wonder there is no hope for humans going forward when so many laugh at other peoples misfortunes.

When someone sells their house they inherited, something their parents worked hard for, and they also claim they will have an island by the time they are 25 it is hilarious. 648 btc to buy an island one day is almost too much to handle.

There is one nice island close to Nicaragua on sale for 500 000$. Not huge one but just enough. 648$ BTC could buy it few weeks ago

shit i knew i should've gone all in, oh well i got my fair share...

Yeah, I haven't went all in too. Spent some 65% of fiat I had.
3131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 28, 2014, 01:49:54 AM
I'm really angry that wall street is probably buying cheap coins right now (not much, but any is enough)... they should pay much higher price.

Not likely, haven't spoted any large buys. If they did, they were $540 and $500 walls, otherwise they didn't get much coins.

True... but I think they are playing smart here. Buying more like 100 coin in a time and not going big, at least not yet.
I think the going theory is that if they're smart, they're not buying on an exchange.

True, but how many off-exchange coins are now in the hands of hodlers? There's no ask walls, so anyone wanting to buy has to build bid walls, which may buy me enough time to sell my motorcycle or rob a liquor store so I can post margin.

I'm on my third pack of cigarettes today. Hope my kids like community college.

Haha, don't panic

Now, I'm usually bad in selling at these bounces, I might just keep what I bought for myself Cheesy

You are thinking it will go higher and then it goes down again

No, I usually buy very close to bottom then sell too early on the bounce. Since I find -500 coins as good price I might just keep them all this time.

When will a seriously innovative alt(s) completely decouple from this downward trend in btc pricing.  I imagine the first one with the best chance of doing so is listed on the the major exchanges that offer central fiat to alts.  Short list includes Ripple on Bitstamp & Kraken, Litecoin on Bitfinex & Kraken etc., some chance of the Vault of Satoshi and Kraken alt markets breaking out including Doge, which has done more trending uncoupled to Bitcoin than any other alt so far, is there anything else I'm missing with a offical collapse of the Chinese buying support?  And how much chance do you give for this to happen at each price level lower for bitcoin 300s, 200s, 100s.. 2 digits?

it's shit new trend since November, I liked it much more when alts would go up during Bitcoin crashes. It was fantastic hedge opportunity.
3135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 28, 2014, 12:44:50 AM
Its 2 AM. I got my popcorn with me, but I must say, I am experiencing a certain level of fear.

Sadly, I can't buy moar, my fiat is running out.

Same here.... that's what I keep saying when guys say that they would buy a shitload of BTC if the price went to $100 per BTC... the problem is I would NOT have any money left by the time it got that low.

That's why it is good to day trade during downtrends. If you catch some bounces, you have similar amount of the money all the way down. I manage to do that so far since ATH and actually gained 300-400% but lot of that were some very profitable non btc vs usd trades though.

People had shut down a bit, including me who was one of his biggest detractors because he talks less shit and act more as normal guy than utter lunatic he did back in April/May/June 2013 when he was talking nonsense of 300 000$ coins by the end of the year and other shit.

He still has a bit of assholness in him but I could handle the amount he is sending out these days though Cheesy
3137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 28, 2014, 12:21:37 AM
It's simple. Buy Bitcoin now with fiat, buy alts with that BTC and get 1000% fiat profits in few weeks/months Cheesy
Alts don't profit over time, a select few spit and sputter profits than crash. Otherwise they just lose money.

Bitcoin lose the money too if you don't buy and sell at good time  Wink

Er.. What alts? Only like 100 to choose from now days...

Any of them but since you probably have lot of BTC buy those with good volume.
