Quick heads up.
I do hope that everybody realizes that mining pool returns are completely dependent on the XMG block rewards which are highly variable. Just because you get a good return from a pool one day/week/month does not mean that you will get a similar return the next day/week/month. My longer term results show no particular advantage from one pool over another and this is not the first time that I have pointed this out either.
Mining on a smaller pool means that fewer blocks will be mined (on average) than on a larger pool, but you will be sharing the proceeds with fewer miners so it tends to balance out. Even large pools have "unlucky streaks" where despite having a mammoth share of the total hashrate, they mine very few blocks in a given time period. Lucky streaks will occur also. This is due to the truly random nature of mining, but over a longer time period everything seems to average out, as one would expect.

Today, I received two regular pool payouts from Suprnova and Noncepool. So? I don't mine on either of those two pools. Clearly somebody has downloaded my Windows mining software and has been running it without having gone through the setup procedure, so it is running in diagnostic mode. Whoever you are, please please please run the setup.bat procedure! That way you will be mining for yourself. You are putting out around 50 Kh/s total with eight processors. Thank you in the meantime though Hmm thats funny! You have extra support Spexx! Think that person will ask for it some day! |

I don't know why but, when I turned on my Raspberry Pi 2 again, my weight reseted. 2 or 3 weeks has passed and my weight should he huge. What's the problem ?
during staking? No, when I turned on the RPi 2. Ah ok. Somebody in the Magi community with the knowledge from RPI 2 will give you an answer I think. |

Hi there all. I am using the XMG multipool SHA256. I chose to use Westhash instead of Nicehash because the latency is better at my location. I am assuming that is fine , the instructions said any multipool can be used. Has there been any issues with pools and what is an approx turn around from pool payout to XMG exchange? No big deal was just curious and it may be an question that other would like to know the answer to. Nice job keep it up!
I believe that the turnaround occurs when your account balance reaches 0.005 BTC. They also payout once a week on Sat. my time if you don't reach that amount in a week. Magi community and team welcomes all new members and followers here and on other social media. |
