3121  Other / Meta / Re: What happened to the forum plagiarism rules? on: March 24, 2022, 10:56:47 AM
Sorry for that mistake that I does not add any source link in that post and I also messaged you about this. Asked how to solve it. Later on, I add the source link in that post (as you suggest). Also after adding the source link I again messaged you for removing my name from that plagiarism list. But now you did not reply to me. I think you should give chance to other users before exposing them.

lovesmayfamilis has nothing to do here. You might be in luck for not banned by the mod. It's annoying to see even knowing the rules some people dare to plagiarize and then adjust it by saying a mistake. You are a member, earned 68 merit so far but giving the excuse that it was a mistake.

My guess is, the forum lost so much traffic they can't afford to ban people anymore.
I would like to believe that this is not true.
3122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone recommend reliable service for bitcoin-backed loan on: March 22, 2022, 07:58:03 PM
Finding a laon offer which accepts BTC as a collateral might be difficult, but it's worth the shot.
It's possible if both lender and borrower agree on topping up if the btc value goes down against USD.

For example if the OP could offer something like 1 BTC for a $35k loan (1BTC = $42,370 right now) and if price drops under $37k then within x hours he will top up $5k to $7k worth of BTC then the lender will feel comfortable to lend him. If he do not top up then lender can just cash out without losing USD value.
3123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian individuals are using crypto to bypass sanctions on: March 22, 2022, 07:41:40 PM
Cryptocurrency,  specially bitcoin, mean freedom. Certainly all.those sanctions showed the world that n money is really  safe (putin jusr closed the stock market), nd some bitcoin in your portfolio are really handy
The centralized economy is ultimately a false trusting system. Anything could happen with the government and you are done. The inflation rate is even higher than what you promise to get in return from a Bank after x years. The buying power of $1k is not the same after x years.

Imagine if there were no crypto. Ukraine would have been worse.

Yes, Russian bitcoin users can avoid the effect of the economic crisis but unless we have more p2p eventually decentralized exchange systems, we will not realize the true benefit of decentralization.

Bitcoin being a threat to financial institutions.
That's their problem. They want you to under their control so obviously bitcoin and crypto are threat for them. But from the perspective of an average joe, bitcoin is your financial freedom. The earlier you realize it, the better it for you.

So what Bitcoin does now for Russians is a drop in the ocean and she knows that. Just she is afraid of Bitcoin and its power if it's left to grow freely.
This should be an eye opener for those who are still waiting to get into Bitcoin while holding their fiats.
3124  Other / Beginners & Help / more phishing likely - never click a link instead save the URL on: March 20, 2022, 10:15:33 AM
Users affected can expect phishing emails at the very least pretending to be from these companies and trying to get users to hand over account credentials or seed phrases or complete password resets.
In my email I have received email from Electrum, ledger and other kind of wallets asking for verify my wallet or I will lose my wallet access. The email is written is a way that an inexperience user will defiantly fall for the trap. Someone with experience will know that there are no centralized service for your desktop and hardware wallets so there are nothing such can happen. So obviously this is a scam and the email has phishing link to steal your private key and seed.

But...
Imagine you have account with Binance. You have not KYCed you account. An email from binance official (email containing the domain name binance.com. For example xyz@binance.com) asking your to KYC your account and to do that they have given a link button in the email. They also said if you do not do it immediately then they will freeze your assets. What would you do?

You will click the link button, login and WTF! Using a script one can easily send email using any email address in the from field. So receiving email from xyz@binance.com does not mean that the email came from Binance.

So these days receiving an email means this could be a nuclear bomb for you. If you handle it without care then this might destroy everything for you. The sad part? No one will know about it and can do anything about it.

When you are with any financial institute or with any important business, always save their main URL in a document. Always login from those saved URLs instead of logging in from any link that came in the email or SMS.

Quote
Just another one of the many risks you take when you hand over your personal information to centralized services.
This is time for information, an era of information. There are many service you will need in your life and they will take your personal information. You can not avoid it sadly. The only way for us is to be aware, and to be educated to avoid any accident.

Good topic by the way.
3125  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Binance Stuck My withdrawal on: March 20, 2022, 09:36:51 AM
It is not too small and base on my country it is a huge amount.
Only Binance know what will be their final decision but I hope this amount was not such huge amount for you that you can not afford to lose. I wonder why it's taking so long too. Looking at the topic creation date it's been around 4 months. If it's about cancelling a transaction or being stuck in the network for lower fees then should it really take ages?
3126  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The crypto crystal ball you've been waiting for... on: March 20, 2022, 09:17:06 AM
How would people trust you that you are after a serious project?

If you are seriously looking for testers or demo users for your project then you must give something to the users so that they know they are not throwing away their email addresses. There are no background about you, your team, road map.
3127  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 06/11/2021 on: March 19, 2022, 08:22:08 PM
There's only one thing wrong with that record!
It's just that you got 1900 merits in 2022 and not in 2016 (the activity number).  Roll Eyes Grin
You confused me with years for few seconds and I had to read several times to understand. It would have been more interesting combination if the activity would have been 2022, isn't it?
3128  Other / Archival / Re: Husires - Abuse of creating duplicate themes on: March 19, 2022, 03:49:24 PM
Just because you weren't sent merits by the same person twice doesn't mean that re-posting and then getting merits is normal practice.
Your merit fishing tactics were normal? Especially those plagiarized themes. Collecting information from different Russian websites, translate them in English then take credit by saying, "in this theme I will lecture you how to become a merit whore" blab blab. It's funny how a merit whore argue and wants to make a valid point.

Can you explain to forum members when you sent merits to any of my "duplicate themes" twice?

Source: https://bpip.org/smerit.aspx?to=Husires&from=Ratimov
Husires, are you saying Ratimov did not send merit to the duplicated topic? If that's true then the whore lied when said this:
Quote
especially for those merit sources who sent merit to newly created duplicates of old topics (I was one of such sources). Personally

And now note this:
Quote
Just because you weren't sent merits by the same person twice

The merit whore also said this:
Quote
I was not too lazy and checked absolutely all your topics

It's now confusing me what part of his claim is actually true.
1. Did he checked all your topics?
2. Did he lied intentionally to make things bad for you and make his claims more solid?

If you say that Ratimov did not send any merit to the duplicated topic but he came up with these nice claims against you with also saying he was the one who sent merits to duplicate topics then I would say he exaggerated when he said I was one of such sources, and I would also say all these are nothing but another merit finishing from an elite merit whore.

Husires, those accusations were made at the end of 2020 and they were based on the fact that I copy someone else's text and use it in my topics, but when I use someone else's text, I do not quote it or highlight it as a quote. Yes, I copied other people's texts, but I always left links, just like you, at the end of the text.

In this article I would like to touch upon such a theme

3129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens to One's Bitcoin if Death Occurs? on: March 19, 2022, 03:03:49 PM
Currently his wife and son are suffering because he invested heavily on cryptocurrencies.
He should have a backup plan for the investments to secure for his family. I would say his family is suffering because of his mistake.

Quote
1) Let at least one trusted individual know your password. It's difficult to get such person but it is better than loosing your investment.
Yeah and then this guy become your headache especially imagine you have life-changing amount of bitcoin. It's better not to share that way. When you are married and had children your most trusted person is your partner, your wife, right? But you even never know some day you might get divorced and your wife immediately move all the coins to her own wallet. There are many ways to keep your coins secure for the next of your kin.

One easier one could be to have hardware wallet, split the seeds in several parts and keep the backups for yourself too. Don't let those people to know each others except you. Tell your next of kin if anything happens then to go to those guys and get the parts. Obviously teach them how to use a wallet and recover it from seed.

Quote
5) Seek advice from cryto inheritance firms.
Tell those people it's not rocket science. People in these forum would give them free advice which will work better than them LOL

3130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 19, 2022, 01:46:03 PM
Well I got to sleep after the first half ended and knowing that I had 2-0 Wolves as a prediction I thought the maximum that can happen is them scoring more goals,so at least one point I will get for sure. When I woke up this morning and checked flashscore I was shocked by seeing 2-3 for Leeds a team that lately has been suffering a lot with tons of lost games.I guess it was that red card as Wolves are not used that much to play with 10 players,I think it is the first time I see a red card for them when they play at home.
This is another example that when you watch a PL match you do not sleep 😉

No body got any points in this match so tommorow will be really intresting.
How could you miss superbru user Ulven?
3131  Other / Archival / Re: Husires - Abuse of creating duplicate themes on: March 19, 2022, 01:35:21 PM

Does this prove you wrong?
Can anyone prove anything wrong I'm doing?

* Merit Source - Plagiarist (#2627711 “Ratimov”)
Two wrong do not make it right. Besides, something seems wrong to others don't need to be wrong for you. If you are doing this for the purpose of the bot then just continue. Don't bother of the discussion here.

Husires did not do anything wrong in terms of breaking the forum rules. The same applied to Ratimov with his Plagiarist themes. What makes me laugh that a merit whore is protecting his territory so that others do not become his competition LOL I would find this topic very normal if this would discovered by some other members than a guy who has devoted his entire life to fish merit on the forum.
3132  Other / Meta / Re: Why I love Bitcointalk! on: March 19, 2022, 01:16:09 PM
I love bitcointalk too but I have a question.
A fork of Bitcoin claiming to be the original Bitcoin.
The are no point to argue with a troll and respond his nonsense. These days he is now very busy to engage with people and let them get into his fake coin. Bitcoin Fake Version would do better if this would have a authentic name instead of what they have now. They could make it CS coin or whatever the fuck they wanted but they had to use the brand Bitcoin has to leverage the industry.

We still have problems sure, and we'll continue to have those problems. I tend to believe we're in a better position than we was a few years ago, based on those changes alone. I think generally removing the newbie jail was a good idea, even if I was conflicted with the idea before.
Introducing merit is playing a vital role than it was before. Before we had many account farmers, continued posting and got ranked up. I would not say there are no account farmers now but the numbers are multiple times lesser than before. Once they find out it's not possible to rank up high then they are bound to give up. However there are some people who have always found a way to abuse the merit receiving tactics though.
3133  Other / Meta / Re: Mods are not around or things has changed in terms of report handling on: March 19, 2022, 01:01:51 PM
That second You are right made me laugh at loud!

Well let me try. Fuck this shit.
3134  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 06/11/2021 on: March 19, 2022, 12:55:17 PM
Good records of merit that we look to keep.

BitcoinGirl.Club has 1900 merits currently
Because all of this is a good contribution by achieving a unique merit best.

Wow! I should create a topic to celebrate it in Reputation board LOL.

Jokes aside, thanks for keeping the record. Who knows some day I may have time to look back in the past and this piece of record will give some feeling to share with my grand children.  😉
3135  Other / Meta / Re: Mods are not around or things has changed in terms of report handling on: March 19, 2022, 12:47:18 PM
Mod still has not removed the post. This is 4th time I have reported including the one few minutes ago. Let's try to get attention of @hilariousandco as he is someone who always address any issue in the meta, at least from my observation, I have found him many times to give his opinion in concerns about mods job. I would like to hear some comments from hilariousandco please.

Second, Ratimov can say whatever he likes--just as you can say whatever you like (within the structure of the forum, obviously, which includes potentially having your posts deleted by someone who self-moderates their threads).  It looks to me like Ratimov made a statement about his early days on the forum, which you followed up with some unwelcome comments about the Russia situation.  Frankly a lot of members here are just sick and tired of that kind of discussion creeping into every crook and crevice on the forum.

Quite right. In fact, the forum began to become clogged with discussion of all sorts of unnecessary things, whether it be hostility between nations or an attempt to somehow limit the Russian section.
If I understand The Pharmacist correctly then he was point out those cerebration topics pops up all the time when users like you get his next 100 merit or get their next rank or things like that.

Quote
I explained to him without insults that if you want to discuss a topic related to possible sanctions against Russia, then go to another topic (and provided a link).
Without insults? What makes you to lecturing me and when I pointed you that you are sounding freaking arrogant [3], you still felt without insults!

Quote
And I left my post for those who also want to continue to develop this theme in an inappropriate place for this.
That's a fucking a lame excuse to keep an off topic post. Take my offer, just delete it, you and me are even, further don't cross my path and I won't your too. Make sense?

You asked that your comments be deleted and LoyceV did in his self moderated topic, your not in the position to ask that he should delete his as well.
I have nothing to do with this Wink
I assume Smartvirus thought you both are same one behind the accounts 😉

Besides growing thick skin, You also need to get attention from every a gem members this forum. It aims to protect you when your situation is pressed. Fact says this scope only supports a gem members and The middle class argument will lose to the upper class Grin
No one listen to a Coward! If you would have said the same from your main account may be some would find value in it.
3136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 17, 2022, 05:33:42 PM
What about next game week for instance? There is only 4 games and let's say somebody gets all correct results, meaning 12 points. He will not have highest yellow cap even though he has 100% of possible points. Then we will have game week 37, this is known double game week where most teams will have 2 games, some even three, there is no more European matches and all postponed games must be finished before last game week. I believe we will have at least 18 games in it and maybe even more.
It turns out that the luck lord is not with me in this round. All close result and without a correct score LOL
At least in four matches I missed exact score for one goal margin that sucked up 6 points from me.
3137  Other / Meta / Re: Mods are not around or things has changed in terms of report handling on: March 17, 2022, 05:10:59 PM
First of all, yes you do care.  If you didn't, you wouldn't have gotten your fur standing on end and this thread wouldn't exist.
Honestly speaking I do not care for the deleted posts, I am being very honest. The reason I came this fur is because I felt offended with his unwelcomed lecture which I cleared him very well knowing the response was off topic [3] and suggested to delete it.

Quote
You've got to grow a thicker skin around here, honey.
No homo brother 😘🤣

I made 5 years LoyceV! just 2 years ago. That's more than enough to last me 3 more years:
Once every 5 years, I get to brag Cheesy
May be do us a favor, after 3 years when you make another topic just make it a generalized for all so that all those noobs, wrench, merit whores don't have to create celebration shit for every 100 merits they earn or reach their next rank or may be get their next 1k merit, you name it. At-least you are qualified to create such a topic. I understand we have to swallow the craps for the next three years from the crocks 😉

Quote
That's what the ignore button is for.
Already ignoring him but I can not ignore the unwelcome lecture.

Quote
Did you report it as off-topic?
I did it with a long explanations to the mods, you know you can write as much as you can in the report box LOL. I did it twice!

Quote
I've noticed OPs get a bit more leeway to go off-topic in their own topics.
Shushhh 😉

Edit: Reported again. And this time
Code:
off-topic. Please read the discussion https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5390173.0
3138  Other / Meta / Re: Mods are not around or things has changed in terms of report handling on: March 17, 2022, 04:18:19 PM
But according to the moderation rules (no rules I mean), if a post/reply is deleted, any response made to that deleted post gets deleted as well AFAIK.
That's where my question too and I have reported the post twice with no result yet. So my valid concern that if there are any changes in terms of report handling or there are not many moderators around.

Let's find if the mods spot it now. Hope they do?

Quote
According to that, he must have deleted his post as well. But who knows what's the criteria moderators applying here to keep his post alive there.
His lecture seemed he knew everything that exists in the forum but even after I asked him specifically on my posts (at least it was clear that I was pointing him to remove the lecture too), he did not care to remove which means he kept it just to get paid for his signature campaign. After all making 55 posts is a lot more harder than you imagine.
3139  Other / Meta / Re: Lock Russian section. on: March 17, 2022, 04:15:12 PM
Theymos, pls. Russians kill innocent people in Ukraine, children and women including. The representatives of that nation have no moral right to be on this forum.
This is bitcoin and bitcointalk community. You are mistakenly considering it as a dirty political platform, this is not. I am sorry your son is in war and the loses of your country but the community has no business with it. Civilians do not fight, it's the dirty politicians who fight for power. Bitcoin is not for a nationality but for the world.

You must realize by now that your suggestion is wrong. In fact, to me it seems you are trying to express your personal anger towards a community who gave you a nice ground to settle down on the forum. You are no different than Putin. The world needs friendships not dictators.

Does Putin do it along?
What do you think? Putin and his oligarchs have bitcointalk accounts to spread propaganda? Even if they have the forum rules does not allow to get banned unless they caught on something that breaks the rules.

its citizens from the good of Earth.
I am sorry the good of Earth were never there. Where was it when Iraq was destroyed, Afghanistan was destroyed, Palestine conflict, bombing in Hiroshima and Nagasaki? I am not supporting any war to be clear but at the same time I am frustrated to see these double standard mentality from the West, EU politicians and their mainstream media.

Just imagine where are we taking the mother earth? We are destroying it. And nature will avenge itself. When it will do, none of us will survive for the next moment. Let's forget hatred towards each others and spread the hand of friendship and peach.
3140  Other / Meta / Mods are not around or things has changed in terms of report handling on: March 17, 2022, 03:39:50 PM
Apparently, using tor or vpn they can access the site. But my concern is using TOR you can not comfortably use exchanges. Even at some point if big exchanges do not allow Russian users then the Russian people will have no other way but to use P2P sites. But in P2P sites they can not do extensive trades like you do in Binance and Kucoin etc.

What does all this have to do with the topic of reaching the Legendary rank?

As far as I know Rati is a full time trader. I could be wrong.

And it is clear that you did not read the OP, it just says about this:

Quote
I have gone from a margin short-term speculator to a full-fledged bitcoin HODLer, who considers bitcoin not as a speculative tool, but as a store of value, as a full-fledged investment, not just a currency, but digital property that is worth keeping in your cold wallet , and not send to exchanges, and even more so not to change for derivative candy wrappers.

Stop writing off-top here. There is a topic in the Meta section: Russia going offline?. Discuss it there. Thanks.
Ninjastic archive : https://ninjastic.space/post/59494433

I have reported the above post twice but no response from the mod.

On the topic, 1000-Day Legendary (I am waiting for LoyceV or theymos to create some topics like 10k merits, suck my dick, the greatest merit hack learn from LoyceV/Theymos LOL), created by some merit sucker dickhead obviously to whore more merits, where I posted a reply to respond comments, 1st from him and 2nd from another user.

1st response[1]

2nd response to another user.[2]

I was nice and polite even congratulated him[1] even knowing it's just another merit whoring topic. As the conversation developed I engaged[2] with another user too. But to surprise me OP started lecturing me as you can see on the quoted post at the beginning. Obviously these sounded arrogant to me (Sorry, LoyceV, I wish I would have a thick skin like you and your gang members) and I reacted[3].

I am happy that he deleted as I asked[3] but when I browsed back and wanted to see if he deleted his lecture which does not have any value now, I found that he did not delete his own. It was still there. I went like[4]:

And now he obviously deleted [4] but with that he also deleted [1] and [2]. I don't mind he deleted all 4 posts but why he still have the lecture? The post he followed up is not existed anymore then there are no point for this follow up post, in fact this post is now an off-topic post.

Would any mod explain why the post still exists?

PS: May be, just may be someone care create a global topic. Something like this:
Celebration topic, all merit whores who ranked up only

This may reduce some of the spam in the reputation board. I am sure including me there are many members who are tired of these shits that pops up all the time when someone ranks up especially some consistent users who mastered the loophole to earn huge sums of merits just by twisting information from several reference sites and several local languages in the name of quality content and educate the community 🤣
