I'm rooting for Heat in the series and probably for the rest of the playoffs 🤪

I'm going with at @reid on the Over, the line is currently @ 207.5 on sportsbet

Goodluck to everyone

Your still covered. Congratulations.  Wink
I was so sure with my bet I put a better amount for it.
Also, another reason is to prepare that money for the Game 2 of the Nuggets vs Lakers tomorrow.  Grin
Yeah, I might bet for them until the end without handicaps. Winning 1 or 2 can equal all my loss. But of course it will still be better if I win it all. (greedy grin)

Celtics won. Hayward 30 mins 6pts 5rebs 4asts 3stls 1blk.
Nice stats for someone who just got back.
I thought Heat will come back after the flagrant 1. But Robinson missing 1 freethrow closed that chance.
Something happened in the 4th. Coach Spoelstra benched Butler.
No worries though.

On not playing Jimmy Butler near the end of the game, Erik Spoelstra said there was no injury. Spoelstra said: "We were just trying to get something quick right there at the end."

There is really nothing that big from just one game, let's remember Clippers were 3-1 ahead when Denver pulled together and won that series, they did that on the first round as well, this team is not a team that starts very well but it is a team that finishes very well so you have to realize what is going on and you have to wait for it, Lakers can't get snobby now because if they think they have this in the bag and start to slag off, even after 3-1, Denver will beat them 3 times in a row.

This is why I believe the first game means nothing. Lakers however did showed a great outing, as long as they can get great contribution from the bench unit like Howard and Rondo they could totally get this in the bag, as long as bench provides, they are miles ahead in talent and experience than Denver.

That's so true. Thank you.  Wink

Yeah, the Lakers did great.
Frank Vogel's rotation got even better since they are not up against a small team like Houston.
Jokic was having a hard time making good plays since Howard is all over him.
But, I know Coach Malone has something up his sleeve. We will see that at Game 2. I am feeling there will be a lot of changes in their gameplay.

Celtics vs Heat again later. I am still having a hard time picking who will win even with the Heat up by 2. I guess it's because of the close ends of the game.
Celtics might just win this next.

Quote from the article.
Quote
Bitcoin itself should be good enough for most people, as this is the “least risky” investment in a space known for volatility. While you may see higher returns from altcoins and ICOs, it is difficult to catch, unless you actively participate in the fast-moving cryptocurrency space.

I guess that answers why stay with Bitcoin.
Before it was at high risk.
But not anymore.
I would prefer to stay that way and just accumulate more.
Hoping in 5 more years, you will see the results. Better, unlike putting so much risk with DeFi projects now.
3124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 19, 2020, 10:05:24 AM
I sure as hell was going bet on the over 209.5, but for some reasons I forgot to place my bet.

@Reid this series might be a one to ignore as a Nuggets fan  Cheesy Cheesy
Noooo!!!  Grin
I won't give in! Not yet! They are just starting slow trying to read the enemy's movement. Then, they will take them down like a hunter.  Cheesy

Anyway, I wasn't really expecting a very bad game for the Nuggets, Joker was on early foul trouble that he had to sit, maybe they just let it go and focus on the game 2.
A lot of flops from Howard who's defending him. It looks like it was his purpose into why he stayed longer in the game than other bench players.
I was actually starting to hate him at 1st quarter.
But, its a good strategy. They know the Nuggets heart is Jokic and they took it away with 7 minutes more in the 2nd.

Over 206.5 later.

3125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum fees are crazy... on: September 19, 2020, 04:45:05 AM
IIRC, it had been 3 weeks or more.
It will come back to normal. It should be.

The traffic is causing a lot of trouble thanks to DeFi.
Some buyers want a cheaper tx fee but the problem is it will be stuck there.
This always happen when something is being hyped. Same thing happened back with ICO days.
3126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 19, 2020, 03:41:42 AM
Strong finish for the Lakers.
They got game 1 here obviously.
Rondo is firing up his teammates with his unbelievable pass. That's the Rondo I know. He is back.

Foul trouble for the Nuggets at first half.
Some are bad calls from the ref. They are aggressive and Dwight is just pushing Jokic to commit a foul.
Denver will learn a lot from this.

Fun fact: I was mad also mad with Coach Malone at Game 1 against the Clippers making the 4th quarter look like a garbage time in a playoffs.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5091185.msg55133615#msg55133615
My parlay didn't hit yesterday, lost on the OVER by just 6pts, Nuggets missed so many easy ones in the 2nd Q, annoying to seem them score only 97 for such good offensive team.
That is because Coach Malone already used the 2nd stringers at the 4th, they didn't even try to take back the lead which is just 20+ points.
I think he forgot they are in the playoffs.

Now I am thinking. Is this some kind of a strategy?
3127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 18, 2020, 03:50:19 PM
It is why I always limit myself from gambling and consider it a leisure time or entertainment because I don't want to see myself being pathetic or look pity.

You need to have strong control with your emotions, it's easy to say than doing it in an actual scenario.
Most of the time losing control is your worse nemesis when playing the game.

I agree.
It mostly happens when you are losing more.
I am guilty of that back in the days and maybe even at some days up until now, when I am forcing to get the profit back.
But, I do keep at the back of my mind that the "house always wins".
That helps me to control it and stop at some point.

3128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 18, 2020, 02:17:14 PM
Lakers always start the series with a bad game.
What do you guys think?

Just kidding. I am betting for the Nuggets here without handicaps.
I just want to consider some things with O and U. It might become a low scoring game too if defense will be suffocating.
210.5 is kind of low though.
I bet they will put Danny Green on Jamal Murray to stop his offensive explosiveness.

Okay. Denver and Over 210.5 @6.40
3129  Economy / Economics / Re: Enough with BITCOIN SAVE us or the economy on: September 18, 2020, 11:26:28 AM
Where do we read those kind of claims?
Do you have links to it?
I haven't seen those words even in social media, or maybe I am just following the wrong personalities.  Grin

It's not Jesus or even a hero. It doesn't save everyone, anyone or anything.
It is a currency though which might help at a certain point of time. I don't think that is now.
3130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 18, 2020, 09:49:04 AM
@NBA experts in this thread, do you think that Miami can beat Lebron and Anthony Davies' Lakers in a best of 7 series? I was not convinced, however I am slowly being convinced after the Heat beat Celtics from being the losng team in game 2 hehe.

Wait a minute. Lakers still need to overcome the Nuggets.
It's like you are saying it is already a win for the Lakers.
It may become Nuggets vs Heat.  Grin
Sorry, I am a big fan of the Nuggets team.

I watch analysts predict every game especially with the Clippers vs Nuggets.
They all thought it's going to be the LA vs LA. But greatness suddenly happened.
So does with Miami Heat. Did those analysts really predicted this to happen?

2/13 predicted in this tweet. Maybe more since the image was cut.

It lacks information which is why all answers cannot point you in the right direction.

I have a feeling this might be outside the forum and he was seeking help on how it could be solved.
The police will be the first place you should go.
It is always better to have a written report first. Somehow, that will back up your statement when a possible hearing happens.
First to come will have a higher chance of winning.
3132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 18, 2020, 04:49:07 AM
Damn! Just 2 more points and I could have won over 208.5. Ergh! Celtics cannot make the last shot.

The first game went over, I think I'll bet the other way here as I wasn't expecting an OT again.
It's just me anyway, that's just how I think in game 2, more defense less offense.

So here's my early pick for the Celtics vs Heat game.

Game 2 total ; Under 208.5... Good Luck everyone.

I'm not betting on a certain team now, I can't see a good spot here.

Congratulations to both of you and others who ride the same bet.
If I just considered my emotions for the Heat I could've won at least one bet.  Grin
Well, better luck next time.

Heat is different when they gain momentum. That 2nd half they suddenly upgraded.

3133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurency is real money real asset but why not insured? on: September 17, 2020, 07:05:18 PM
There's a simple answer to it.
It's not for you.  Wink

You are looking for something which is not existing.
That's just too bad right? Maybe you can switch into another mode of investment or whatever you prefer that will have those options.
No one is forcing you to buy or trade crypto currencies.
3134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 17, 2020, 06:06:45 PM
Great story.
It's good that you are helping him.
Just be sure he is really accepting the help or he is just keeping the gambling addiction from you so you won't feel bad for him.

Ever since I started gambling I have never been to the point of addiction.
The secret is always enjoy it.
Now, if you are getting stressed out of it then you are near the bad habit. You need to stop it at that point or else it will be nasty in the end.
Gamble to pump your excitement from watching and if you lose, leave it there. Don't bring it home.
3135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 17, 2020, 03:29:10 PM
Meanwhile, we can also look at some bad personal relation between Doc and PG, we know their history that PG has cheated on Doc's daughter which is now the wife of Seth Curry, so I think this is also one factor to consider, and maybe you guys will say, "hey! they are professionals"... well, maybe but things like this is hard to forget that's why I'm seeing that the chemistry of Denver is what beats the LA Clippers.

Chemistry is such a badass. It works every game even in down moments.
The Nuggets proved it. It's not just chemistry with players but also with their coach.
They can make jokes with Coach Malone and even spill water during an interview.  Grin
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fbfovqz035k

They are stronger now after waiting for 2 years. Nuggets management is good at preserving their players which made them better.
Stephen A says Kawhi "flat-out choked".  Grin
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9Crefx3FHg

Fun Fact: Nuggets made an NBA history. 1st team to recover in a 3-1 deficit, twice in one post season.
3136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: btc future on: September 17, 2020, 12:08:38 PM
tax??? from what? its same like you go casino you win money and pay tax?

dont forget that crypto is big casino just house wins and investors lose!

That's so wrong. If investors always lose then why the hell are they still investing in it?
Rather they want more because they have a different approach which is fast profit.
Not all but mostly.

The truth maybe hidden behind ignoring what Bitcoin can really do.
If they try to accept the existence of it and use it, they think some people can get away from paying taxes and that means not much money in their pockets.  Grin
3137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 17, 2020, 06:17:20 AM
Bam and Butler leading the team but the success comes from those cast who really played well alongside with them.

Indeed.
Who would've thought that the names like Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro will suddenly shine especially in the 3 point line.
Now they became a threat which gives Bam and Butler a lot of space if they want to penetrate in the paint.

I already put my bet for tomorrow.  Over 208.5
But, I still cannot decide on the winning team. It's just so difficult to decide.  Huh
3138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My experience is gambling on: September 16, 2020, 06:26:09 PM
That is why I stayed more with sports betting although I still gamble in dice to take away boredom.
Sports gives me more pleasure and is also a way for me to not stop analyzing each team and player.
I just love doing that.

I guess what you need is something that will give you fun.
Winning and excitement for the game give a lot of pleasure especially while cheering for your favorite team.  Wink
3139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: September 16, 2020, 05:16:41 PM
Thanks to all of you guys.
I am a fan. It's all heart. I never looked at the stats b'coz Nuggets won't win on that side.
It's just the chemistry which I love about them.

You were right afterall, or should I say following your heart over your gut was the right call...
This has been a very weird playoffs, tbvh 😆
It is weird but I am really looking forward to the Nuggets to reach the top even in the last 2 years.
They just started really slow.

BAM! Not again! Stopping a dunk from Tatum?! Nice!

That was a ridiculous play, damn! I for a second thought they called a foul.
Yeah! Who says wins are made by buzzer-beater shots only.
This time it was the block that won the game for Miami.

3140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you staying updated on: September 16, 2020, 12:45:59 PM
Well, this forum is the best news outlet you can get.
Better actually.
Most members here are trying to filter DeFi projects. Isolating scam with good ones.
But, there is still no assurance with that.
After reading a good review from it, make your own deep research about the project you want to jump in.
You lose nothing by being too careful.
