3121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never possible earn free bitcoin without work. on: November 09, 2019, 10:45:35 PM
Bitcoin for whatever currency it is, if someone really looking to earn then he must have to do some work for it. OP is right about all his point but I think he just missed one, that is gambling. By depending on luck and holding emotions one may earn BTC by gambling.
dice is a fun game for some people, if they have the technique and patience they can win a lot of money by playing dice. but requires capital to play in it, may have to do some work that produces and then play dice

What technique? Martingale? There's no proven working strategy for online dice. Forget about it. You are lucky or you're not. It's not a game of skill.

Also forget about earning money without work. Even thieves have to work for their loot. Profit doesn't come easy and there's always a degree of risk. You can get some risk free money by working a boring job or you can risk some to earn some in gambling trading or investing.
3122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it Possible Stellar Lumens/XLM Reach $100 on: November 09, 2019, 09:53:20 PM
No way! A centralized coin that is doing more or less the same thing that XRP pumping so much? It has never costed even 1 dollar and you want it to be worth 100?

For that to happen BTC would have to be worth 100 thousand at least because it's impossible for an altcoin to go up by 1000% with bitcoin remaining stable. There's not enough fiat money available on the market to make a coin worth just a few cents to go to 100 dollars. Something would have to deflate first for XLM to inflate. XRP maybe? If you could kill XRP you might stand a chance.
3123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a new process to reject more user from getting tokens? on: November 09, 2019, 09:36:44 PM
You knew you were going to be asked for your KYC and had 4 days to submit information that normally takes maybe 30 minutes to take pictures or scan your documents.
I know it sucks but they played it fair. Told you about KYC beforehand and gave you 4 days to do it which is enough time.

Next time make sure you read their announcements or you might miss out on the payment.
3124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please help us understand your priorities when investing in Crypto on: November 09, 2019, 09:23:32 PM
Done. For me the most important things will be the projected profit, stability and timeframe. I bet this is going to be the main focus of most investors, especially the new ones thinking about their first investment.

I found it interesting that you're asking about the environment. When it comes to Bitcoin, there's really no proof that it's bad for the environment. Some people are pointing out that using a lot of electricity is bad, but that power is being bought which means that someone is already providing it whether we buy it or not. For me this would be the least important factor of any investment unless it's proven that a project will destroy the environment.
3125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The use of stable coins or no? on: November 09, 2019, 12:31:14 AM
I don't like stablecoins. You don't know what you're buying really. They are based on trust just like fiat but you at least know that your fiar won't lose value in a day. I wouldn't be so sure about stablecoins. They can go bankrupt along with the company that issued them and we don't know how much of them is really backed.

People like them and they use them we can see it by looking at volume. I won't use them but if other traders like them there's a reason for their existence.
3126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Has Been Profitable for More Than 94% of its Existence on: November 09, 2019, 12:04:28 AM
A lot of people are saying we are cherry picking dates to show people that it is possible to profit with a Bitcoin investment, but if you look at the price history, you soon notice that there are several opportunities in the long run to make some decent profits.

It's math nothing else. If something was profitable for the last 10 years it won't suddenly become unprofitable just like that. There is nice research in this field available online that show chances of assets staying strong on the market are growing with every year of its existence and the longer an asset is traded the smaller the possibility of it crashing and going out of the market.

Bitcoin gains value with every year of its existence even when it doesn't show that on charts.
3127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you sell a million dollars bag of crypto? Would you trust exchanges? on: November 08, 2019, 11:45:34 PM
I would trust exchanges but I would never sell it all at once. I would never sell 1 million if I had that much crypto but that's not the answer to this question.
I'd try to divide my money into maybe 10 parts per 100 thousand and keep sending them to exchanges one by one.

I'd choose exchanges that allow me to withdraw some money with no KYC and be careful to always sell into walls, to make sure it's all sold at the same price.
3128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do long term holding profitable in all cases? on: November 08, 2019, 09:00:11 PM
It's simple and my understanding of holding is simple. Bitcoin is not just a coin but also a brand and this brand is recognized all around the world. I'm sure that one day it will be worth much more than today.

ETH is an important coin that most of the time follows Bitcoin. That includes today when Bitcoin lost 5% ETH followed and also dumped at the same time.
This makes me believe that ETH will pump along Bitcoin. Hold it if you want but remember that BTC is better and more recognized. It's just safer to hold BTC.

3129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn bitcoin trading? on: November 08, 2019, 08:50:54 PM
The easiest way to learn is to do it. It's a rule for most things in life. Reading about something will never make you master it. You have to try it out. Take 10% of your investment money and play a bit. Just don't go x5 leverage from the start. Trade with no leverage, try to do your own TA, read how others are doing it.

Don't follow others try to make your own strategy.
3130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: November 08, 2019, 08:41:54 PM
The monetary value is not enough, even though that's the main attraction of many crypto users today. I have seen the educational value as highly important too, crypto educates the mind, you will need to compose your posts to make points, it even helps diligence as you have specific number of post set as target to meet up with, thereby discouraging idleness.

They usually come here for money and stay for the fun. I did like many others who heard that you can make money with bitcoin came here and learned that you also can make money working on this forum then I leveled up enough to join signature campaigns and my first trading/earning frenzy disappeared.

Now I'm here for the fun, to read, to post, to watch the revolution happen. I have my investment and it's growing on its own. I don't need to think about it more.
3131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: November 07, 2019, 10:06:36 PM
Using the Lastpass or keeping the passwords in offline environment are the two best options, from my experience but the obvious problems usually occur in the both online and offline world somehow. Offline 2FA applications usually don't have a background sync in the worst cases and buying the useful software is not affordable by my side. By this point, having a technical skills can save the time and money, the ignorance is the first reason that fails everyone in such bad days.

Isn't lastpass based on your email account? If a hacker gains control of your email won't he be able to reset your password for lastpass? I'm not using it because I prefer to have a few strong passwords and keep them in my head. I rarely remember which one goes with which account but if I don't it takes less than a minute to try them all Wink

The majority of hacks happen due to user's negligence but there are some where the exchange is to blame like when they gain access to its database and get all usernames and passwords from there.
3132  Economy / Speculation / Re: This Is Why Bitcoin Price Could Hit $55,000 Next Year: Crypto Zombie in Trader’s on: November 07, 2019, 09:52:51 PM
He's all right. Definitely better than some others youtube pumper dumpers. I sometimes like to watch crypto youtubers for pure entertainment and cryptozombie is entertaining. His TA is worth shit but the way he talks about it is funny. He always talks like a permabull and has a lot of positive energy. Don't trust him though because he usually repeats FUD instead of ignoring it.
3133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No Wonder Satoshi Disappeared... on: November 07, 2019, 09:20:13 PM
They did not snuck in, they just started offering people FREE Ripple for their Facebook identity and a lot of gullible people fell for that offer and

linked their real identity to those tokens. So from the start, Ripple went out to destroy anonymity and to bend over to the regulatory authorities

to get traction in the market. They even went to the Banks and begged them to use Ripple.  Roll Eyes

It snuck in in the way that it's one of the top coins even when it shouldn't be because it stands out like a fucking bear between standing between dogs. It's not decentralized it's not mined it was premined if we even can call it that and it depends on the company that made it.

It was distributed but how the hell did so many people buy it to make it a top 5 cryptocurrency. With only airdrop hunters as their clientele they wouldn't be so high.
3134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Inflation on: November 06, 2019, 11:50:18 PM
Quote
It'll make Bitcoin more accessible to more people

Please explain how bitcoin is not accessible to people. I always find it hard to understand this argument and I see it appear from time to time in discussions as people say bitcoin is too expensive for an average person. Is that how you see this?

Cheaper Bitcoin doesn't mean more accessible bitcoin and you can see it by looking at altcoins. The coin costs $1 per coin doesn't become more popular and widely used than a coin that costs $100.

Do you want to introduce inflation to Bitcoin to make holders share? Are you a socialist?

I think Bitcoin should have a low inflation rate, maybe 1%. It'd reduce price volatility. I think volatility is a significant barrier of entry. It's not about the tech but psychology.

People laugh at my idea of a coin with 7% inflation. They dismiss the idea, call it weird, ridiculous. But calling me a socialist just raised the bar.

I did not call you a socialist. I asked if you are a socialist which is a different thing.

You said holders should share the cost of running the network which is a socialist idea. Tax those who have money so those who don't have can transact cheaper.

You also said that Normal people can't afford transaction in Bitcoin. Who are those normal people? The poor are normal? I earn less than the average person in my country and can afford to transact in Bitcoin? Who is normal then if I am not? Maybe someone unemployed.

There's always lightning network if you can't afford $1 fee.
3135  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: November 06, 2019, 11:18:53 PM
Can't sent to my btc balance now, your bitcoin empty yahoo62278
Yahoo has already made it clear he does not have any say in refilling the wallets or distributing any of the payments he is here to moderate the campaign from those that are abusing it and that is it. Currently the wallet has not been refilled and its expected to be refilled soon.
Your words " it and that is it ' extremely bad grammar  Grin Grin Grin Grin

You really should stop trolling in this thread. You're not only dumb because you think that you'll get removed from the for asking about payments but you're also dumb because you posted here with your main account, deleted it, made a new one and posted again. I saw you.
You're dumb for the third time trying to find mistakes that aren't there. Every sentence will look stupid if you take a part of it out of context.
3136  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: November 06, 2019, 10:48:34 PM

Hey.
Yesterday I read an article about banks that began to use blockchain and there was pretty impressive list.
They're also described successful cases of using blockchain in banks (if you're interested - here's the article), so I may assume that using blockchain in bank's system is only a matter of time (and money, of course).

Now, the question: why it takes THAT long the smaller banks to go the same way and start using the blockchain?
Without legal using bitcoin as currency maybe we can't see banking industry in blockchain, many scammer cases using bitcoin and altcoin as investing make government very careful to adopt bitcoin and impossible without legalization bank industry with blockchain in some country, I hope next year have innovation with bank to adopt blockchain and member can saving bitcoin in the bank.

The post disappeared, modlog doesn't show anything for the user or topic so it was deleted by the user, I can guess why.....but ...why miss on the payment when you can simply spin it a bit and post it again?
http://archive.ph/sgyie

Bank and blockchain have the same concept where to safety for member assets, almost people want to save their money in the bank because how safety their money but adopt blockchain as banking system can give benefit way with increase money for bank member, they not only get safety saving money but also their assets will increase higher if using blockchain adoption.
Both posts are nowhere to be found.
So it got pointed out and deleted again a while later the second time.

Cutesgirl, I know you're reading this. Congratulations you're making a real comedy out of this. I didn't think I'd see somebody go through so much just to get that one spam post for a dollar. You're a champ!

I'd focus on the first necrobumper. If he's lucky enough to necrobump get someone to post right after and delete it before the campaign manager sees he can get the troll of the month reward and keep posting.

It should be a good warning to other posters to watch where they're posting so even the second culprit should watch out or he can get trolled and become the first.

3137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Living Off-Grid With Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2019, 10:21:47 PM
Yes, you can't use bitcoin off-the-grid because to conduct bitcoin transaction to need to connect to internet. Bitcoin is a digital currency after all and there is no way you can use bitcoin even if you have the full-node. In fact, the full-node requires internet connection to synchronize with the bitcoin network. To use bitcoin anywhere you are going to need internet connection, period!

Off-grid means without paying for utilities. You can buy a cheap LTE connection and have wireless Internet wherever you want.
It's possible to live like that as long as you pay for the Internet but he could have a house in the mountains with its own water and power.

The problem lies in profitability. Such off-grid system will be expensive and it will take years for it to pay for itself.
3138  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-11-05] Independent: "Bitcoin’s record price surge of 2017 was caused..." on: November 06, 2019, 09:47:12 PM
A single person wouldn't have enough money.

There were thousands of trades executed on each exchange every day. That whale would have to set up bots all around the world wire millions of dollars to every exchange and keep them running for days buying. This is impossible even if you have the money to do it. He would need a whole building full of people trading for him 24/7 and it still wouldn't be enough.
3139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Thoughts On Jorg Molt on: November 06, 2019, 09:30:48 PM
He's an idiot. He even took a picture with Andreas and started telling everyone that he's friends with him.
https://twitter.com/aantonop/status/1191007637355323392

He's doing all he can to promote himself at the cost of others. We shouldn't even give attention to this man because it's all promotion for him.
3140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin Have A Quantum Computing Problem? on: November 05, 2019, 10:53:00 PM
At least they are summing it pretty well. Bitcoin does not have a problem with quantum computing! This technology is still in diapers and we not only would not be the first target if there really was a rogue quantum company trying to hack everything but it also would have enough time to fight the hack attempts.

I said it before that quantum computers produce enormous amounts of data but you need to sort this data out later. It's the same with feeding data to a quantum computer. You have to prepare it first so that the machine will understand it and be able to process it.
