I have an ASRock X370M-HDV R4.0 motherboard that has only a pcie x16 slot occupied by a 1650 gpu and a pcie x1 slot where i wanted to put the 1030 through a riser, alternatively a decent card that has directly the pcie x1 coupling ?
I see your motherboard have 2 PCIe, if you already have a 1650 attached, you can put another card to mine with a riser, but don't buy a 1030, forget this idea If the reasons are just to understand mining, you can try with your 1650 If you are thinking about a new GPU, I would say the minimum to worth are GTX 1660, RTX 2060 and RX 6600 Maybe you can find a cheap used RX 580 8Gb, way better than 1030 and at least you can mine ETH and a lot of another algos |

Sorry all this LHR talk has got me confused. How do you unlock LHR and are LHR cards OK to buy then?
LHR means Lite Hash Rate, Nvidia did this to stop miners buying all stocks and leave some to gamers. To unlock LHR you just have to use some miner updated, like GMiner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5034735.0 or lolminer: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4724735.0There are more miners who unlocks LHR, but none of them unlocked 100%, and it's simple to use, just read the miner readme and you're good to mine Gminer for example doesn't require anything to unlock, just run the latest miner and ok If it's worth or not it's up to you, I already bought a 3060 LHR but I sold to buy two RX 6600 You have to consider the price to buy, the hashrate and power usage. |

What type of 3070ti you have? Some brands are worse, I have one that started dripping oil or liquid stuff on the riser after a week of mining, its a brand new MSI 3070ti, I hate this GPU.
Better to return this GPU. I have some cards with the same oil leaking from thermal pads, and I talked to Galax RMA and they said it's normal to thermal pad leaks this "oil", but after some time os use, not a brand new GPU. In your case, you can ask your money back or change for another GPU This oil will not cause any problem to your GPU, it only affect the aesthetics Better change the thermal pad, adding an extra fan won't have a big impact on the high temp much, its 3070ti we are talking about here, its never easy to cool these graphic cards.
In my opinion, if this GPU have warranty (probably because 3070TI is not old), it's not a good idea to change thermal pad and lose warranty so soon. I recommended the fan because I use here on my 3080 and helped to reduce my temp, some users from my board did this too and had good results, but again, I said to put a fan, increase gpu fan speed and reduce power, all this together can reduce temps 3070 ti, 3080 and 3090s are hard to cool  |

Falando as peças de maneira genérica não dá pra saber tanto assim  Mas eu vi você falando que tem uma placa mãe com 4 PCIe (a sua A520M-PLUS tem 3 que eu vi), você pode usar a de PCIe para rodar as 3 GPUs, assim você gastará menos energia A marca da fonte você também não citou e nem o modelo, mas de preferência à melhor. Geralmente usamos fonte GOLD que ela perde menos energia no processo, sendo mais eficiente, e gastando menos energia novamente. É essencial você fazer overclock nas memórias e reduzir voltagem para minerar o máximo possível, gastando o mínimo que conseguir. A depreciação é difícil de calcular, eu costumo usar o tempo de garantia da placa como base. A manutenção é basicamente monitorar as temperaturas e limpar o pó a cada tempo, não deixando acumular muita poeira para não afetar a temperatura. Alguns gostam de trocar a pasta térmica e thermal pads para placas muito antigas ou muito usadas, aí vai de você, tem que ver as condições das placas. Se você está minerando na Nicehash, está recebendo em Bitcoin, mas se você minerar Ethereum diretamente você poderá vender como uma moeda qualquer, enviando para a exchange e vendendo a preço de mercado. Só uma observação, pesquise um pouquinho sobre o Ethereum se tornando POS que tem uma chance boa de acontecer até o mês 06 ou 07, o que reduziria drasticamente a mineração no curto prazo. |

my guess is you pushed the psu too hard. Most 2000 watt atx psu are shitty fake chinese crap.
even a really good expensive 1600 watt atx like the EVGA 1600g or 1600p or 1600t can do maybe 1300 watts 24/7/365 or 75-80%
a cheap 2000 watt chinese garbage atx will do around 1400 watts for a while. and 1000 watts for a long time.

106°C is not good to run for the long term, even with some people saying under 110°C you're good
GDDR6X are really hot for mining and you can do some things to reduce temps
Can you share the config you're using on this gpu?
Maybe you can reduce temps decreasing voltage, increasing fan speed or you can put a fan direct blowing air to the backplate of your gpu
With some adjustments it's not difficult to achieve at least 95ºC to run safer.
If you want to go a step ahead, the best (and hardest) solution is to change thermal pads, but I don't recommend this, you'll lose warranty.

and you can't provide power to GPU from USB, even this 1030, I think the TDP of a 1030 is 30w, and even if is not recommended you could use a sata cable to run (sata cable can do 54watts)
Unfortunately, to mine you'll need a stronger GPU and more important, a good and reliable PSU, this is important for you safety, if your PSU don't have at least this cable to provide energy for the riser, I suspect it's not a PSU to mine.
It's not possible to connect this 1030 directly to you motherboard?

HX1200 is strong enough to run all 4 GPUs, even in a peak condition of 170w each one Call you tell which connectors are melted? O meu Chrome estava numa versão anterior, e assim que vi o tópico já fui conferir e atualizei para a nova versão.
O mais preocupante seria que é uma brecha "zero-day", e foi um nível abaixo do alerta máximo de vulnerabilidade
Eu utilizo o Chrome como meu navegador principal e acredito que os outros também tenham brechas da mesma forma
