what if I use a link shortener to simplify the url/text before it's generated into a QR code? maybe, there is a secure decentralized text/link shortener  QR-codes are tricky enough already ( malicious QR code readers steal Bitcoin), adding a third party only makes it worse. What do you think about adding something like ticker or info for Bitcoin mempool and fees?
There is one extension showing this for ethereum called Ethereum Gas Price Extension but I can't find anything similar for Bitcoin.

It's a bit early to predict the future but if Bidens presidency brings positive results, he's most likely to be renominated by the democratic party and win while if it ends badly, Republicans are going to win the presidency, so there's almost no likely situation for Kamala winning.
If Biden was in better shape I'd agree but he isn't. I would have voted for him if I had voting rights in the US, don't get me wrong, but he's still a poor choice for president. So there are plenty of scenarios where he isn't a candidate for a second term, I'm pretty sure at some point he was even saying that he wouldn't be a candidate for another term. I could see him resigning after a couple of years, once he has put the country back on the right track, giving Kamala one year to preside, and one year to campaign. Not with intent to revive this, but I've just seen that Arcas got banned. If gosha@e-coin was one of his alts, shouldn't both have been banned? Btw, I don't know the reason for the ban, so it'd be interesting to know it. Not really relevant but out of curiosity None of the other three, michaeladair / michaeladair_altacc / Desscount are currently banned, so you'll have to reach out to the admin/devs to see if they can clarify why that one UID out of the four has been banned (and how long for). |

Week 98 is showing the same information that was in week 97 for any name I try out. I f*cked up  I ran the update 3 hours too early (also for my Merit data), so theymos' data dump wasn't updated yet. For Merit data this means more than a day delay, my Trust list update should be ready about 3 hours from now. (these projects still don't run from a cronjob on a VPS, hence the f*ckup)I had a feeling it might be something like that. Saturday afternoon most weeks (AEST - GMT +10) is actually a little bit of free down time so it enables me to see who did what to whom DT wise before the wailing begins. |

Pretty funny that bookies think it's more likely that Kamala Harris wins the 2024 election than Joe Biden winning a second term. Just goes to show the kind of expectation people have for his term! I would have thought there'd be interest in bets for Mike Pence, but no one seemed willing to take the plunge on that one. At near 78, Joe Biden is the oldest first term President ever elected, so it's no surprise that people are imagining he will either serve one term, or not see out the term for various reasons thus elevating Kamala Harris to the top job.
Take note the bets are for "elected" the next president, not assume office. Mike Pence could assume office for a few weeks if Trump walks out once the Electoral College votes are officially counted in a couple of weeks time. |
