Hello! My id on freebitco.in is 8702585. My id on freedoge.co.in is 1334949
I receive such a message on two freebitco.in and freedoge.co.in sites:
"Sorry, this IP address has been blocked." If you are using a proxy,
VPN or anonymization service, please turn it off before claiming free bitcoins. "
But I do not use proxy, VPN or anonymization service and I can not turn them off,
because I do not have these programs on the computer.
Please help me.
Sincerely, Vladimir!

It's not just VPNs and proxies. All IP addresses have a risk rating attached to them. Is it your home internet connection, mobile or a work connection? Can you try another IP address to find out if that is the problem?

the sooner people realise that freebitco.in IS a casino with a faucet attached (so that you can claim more funds for gambling) the better.
this really is no different to how other dice sites work, e.g. primedice, 999dice etc - but freebitco.in tries to present itself as something else.

That's really a result of the history of freebitco.in. When it was launched it was entirely funded by advertising and there was a 0% house edge dice game just to keep people on the site between free rolls.
Then the bots came and the house edge had to be introduced after a few weeks. Advertisers don't like paying for page impressions that only bots see, so Adsense would no longer allow incentivised sites. Other ad platforms don't pay enough to make them worthwhile.

The difference between us and the other sites is the higher house edge allows us to have much larger giveaways. All the reward points and bonuses, not to mentions the lottery. We giveaway most of the lottery tickets and run that at a loss as the big first prize attracts more users. It is much more a marketing strategy that is common in the bricks and mortar casinos that also use a high house edge to fund such giveaways and jackpots.

You may be aware that we will be rebranding the site to crypteer.com. That is to remove the word 'free' from the name.
3142  Other / Meta / Re: How does this account have an avatar? on: June 27, 2018, 04:45:03 AM
Why did the 2013 hack stop avatars being removed?

From when it happened:

It was initially suspected by many that the attack was done by exploiting a flaw in SMF which allows you to upload any file to the user avatars directory, and then using a misconfiguration in nginx to execute this file as a PHP script. However, this attack method seems impossible if PHP's security.limit_extensions is set.

It was disabled while they were still investigating the hack and then just never turned back on. Removing avatars is done from the same page as adding one:

Quote
To remove your avatar, submit this form without choosing any file to upload.

If you are not a Full Member or above you can't get to that page. I think it is just how SMF works rather than deliberate. ie the permission setting to add or remove an avatar is the same thing so you can't grant permission to one without the other.

It s shady as f..k to change ongoing rules. I understand that you have to fight people who use bots, but changing bonuses without announcing anything and randomly is not only unethical, but also shady. I understand that you are serious when it comes to paying people, but come on... I think this is one of the reasons people are using bots, more as a revenge for this kind of practices.

Changing how much free money we give away is shady and unethical? That's an interesting interpretation.
The botnets don't do it for any other reason than it is easy free money. When we change something to try and stop them (reducing the base reward) they change tactics and we have to react to that. A lot of these changes are experimental to see how they affect the statistics and see what the botnets do to compensate.

We try and make sure that our depositing and gambling customers are not affected by any restrictions. If you have never deposited then you most likely will be.

Have you worked out what your odds are

You don't have to as we do that for you.

Looks like I need more tickets.

What should I do to avoid this problem in the future?

There isn't really anything you can do. It is just caused by a packet of data being lost on the internet somewhere between us and you. It doesn't happen very often and the only times it does is because of DDoS attacks.

As I said it is nothing to worry about as it doesn't change any outcomes. The spinning is just an animation.
3146  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 26, 2018, 03:33:48 PM
I played Hi-Lo game today. I made my bet 1240 satoshis. The wheel just never stopped. It was spinning for a few minutes without stopping. After couple of minutes I realized it's not going to stop. I had to reload my page and lost my bet. What could be a cause of that? It's not a connection problem because I have high speed internet. has anybody experienced anything like that?

It is a connection problem. When the numbers keep spinning it simply means you didn't receive the result of the bet. It's an animation that runs locally and starts when you hit the roll button and only stops when you get the result of the bet from the server.

When you reload the page the rolls history will show the result even if the packet of data containing the result didn't reach you the first time.

As it is a provably fair system the result of any bet is determined by the seeds and can not be affected by connection issues. Either the bet was placed and reached the server or it didn't

You could use an avatar at any rank back in the old days.

OP added his avatar when it was possible for him.

That was before the 2013 forum hack. That also means it is impossible for them to remove that avatar. In this case, that means they are most likely stuck with someone else's photo.

Either that or they took a few years away from the forum to learn Czech.

3148  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: June 26, 2018, 01:17:05 PM
When will the merits be canceled, which were simply distributed from the introduction?
I'm for what would be a fair approach to the rank. There are accounts that do not score any merit and rank "Sr. Member", write heresy and this should be fixed!! Sad

Cancelling this merit system has about a snowball's chance in hell of happening, so if you are hoping for that kind of an outcome, you are likely barking up the wrong tree.

I don't think that's what they meant.

They were asking when the initial distribution Merits would be cancelled. That isn't going to happen either as theymos has stated he would not make a change that would result in accounts getting de-ranked.
I understand the frustration of seeing so many high ranked accounts that were already in the hands of spammers when the system was introduced, but that isn't going to be the solution.
3149  Other / Meta / Re: Captcha on: June 26, 2018, 12:14:23 PM
that captcha is the easiest and best

Being the best depends on which way you are looking at it. Being easier to solve usually makes it less effective against bots.
3150  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: June 26, 2018, 09:48:05 AM
so I did, but that post on the purse was deleted !! is there any other option for recovery?

This is the wrong thread.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0
The instructions say to PM a message from an address you staked before your account was hacked to Cyrus. It's too late to stake an address here now. If you have questions about recovering the account start your own thread, don't post here.

Any chance to add some other games? Getting sick of lottery/gambling.

That's definitely on the todo list.
3152  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 26, 2018, 08:27:00 AM
You are calling that bad luck, while what happens is that it is the most likely scenario. The vast majority of people play the lottery for their whole lives and they never hit the jackpot.

I think the 'lol' indicates that they were aware of that.  Wink

They are just saying it would be nice to win.
3153  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 26, 2018, 07:25:52 AM
I cant chose any RP bonus ( EVEN 1 RP/roll)  and im not halved.  Have you made any changes on this?

There are some ongoing changes but it is work in progress at the moment so I haven't got any details.
3154  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 26, 2018, 07:02:33 AM
Looks like a new trend in emerging, BitcoinJusticeWarrior  Roll Eyes it was simply a matter of time.

He is just trying to spam the Youtube channel in his signature. He made such a specular fool of himself when he tried to argue that the lottery wasn't provably fair he's gone with 'casinos are evil' this time as it is an opinion rather than fact-based argument. Facts are not his strong point.

Is there any approximate date of the service transition from faucet to exchange? Was said "later this year", can we have more details?
Does it mean that we have to say bye bye to lotteries, free-rolls, RP's etc?
So many questions, so much impatience Tongue

In about 5 or 6 months is the current estimate. The entire codebase is being rewritten from the ground up so it's difficult to know exactly how long that will take.

We don't plan to remove anything, just add new things.
3155  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 26, 2018, 06:53:10 AM
Which is exactly why all casinos with a house edge are evil.

If that is what you think then stay away from casinos.
3156  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 26, 2018, 06:47:08 AM
Trying to ignore the fact that the game is rigged in the houses favor lol.

It's a casino so there is a house edge which makes the odds in the house's favour. That's how casinos work. Congratulations on working that out it must make you feel like an intellectual giant.
3157  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 26, 2018, 06:42:55 AM
You're trying to encourage people to use something that you yourself have admitted is completely impossible to win

Yet again you are completely wrong, at least you are consistent.

What I said is you need luck to win and no betting system can change that. Gambling on random numbers is simply about getting lucky, nothing more or less. Plenty of people do win.
3158  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 25, 2018, 04:13:14 PM
In past wetsuit introduce freebitco.in as a faucet.

That's pretty much what I said a few hours ago.

When we first launched we were a faucet funded by advertising which had a 0% house edge dice game to keep people on the site between free rolls.
We changed into a casino over time.

We had other adverts after adsense but the site is now a gambling site with a faucet. Unlike any other gambling site we don't mind if people only use the faucet and never gamble.

And you pay a little amount back to user by faucet

Faucets have never paid much. Users that keep higher balances and gamble get a lot more from the faucet because of all the bonuses.
3159  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 25, 2018, 03:09:28 PM
And here we can learn that freebitco.in is now a gambling site. Not faucet at all. Hope freebitco.in team will be able to become success on their new project. Best regards.

I will also enjoy the game but not to win the prizes cause I'm not a big gambler. Cheesy

Faucets are funded by adverts, they pay you to be marketed at. Our faucet pays you to be marketed at by us with our gambling product. Where did you think all the money to pay the free rolls comes from?
3160  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcointalk 50 BTC VIP club. Where are they now ? Complete list. on: June 25, 2018, 02:28:05 PM
My account isn’t hacked. I’m actually continuing to make repayments to the best of my ability.

OK, if that's the case you owe me 0.04 BTC for being in your signature campaign.
