3141  Economy / Economics / Re: From what countries ICOs are perceived as reliable? Is there a rule for that? on: June 02, 2017, 04:28:00 PM
Ok, thank you for the answer.

I was wondered because - for example - Golem - is a typical polish project. Poland is no well known in investments. But when golem established in Switzerland, many said 'oh, great project from Switzerland'.

That is why I am wondering if it important for people to heave establishment and hide the origins or to show patriotic origins.

I've seen a lot of people attacking Russian projects on the forums in the ANN, but some of them are very good prepared like ZrCoin..

I just got my mind confused.

yeah russia is not seen well many times, but i think people will invest more if they see that the coin is coming from their country, this is a fact, but there is no rule anout ico being bad or not, it's not depend on the country, because if the dev is good and can deliver a good roadmap the ico will be good too, look at the roadmap it's one of the most important thing for a coin
3142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I always lose all my tokens and btc on gambling~ on: June 02, 2017, 04:26:35 PM
I guess, gambling is not actually for me.
I kinda feel bad on all the tokens wasted on gambling but it's kinda my "when I'm bored" hobby.
Do you guys have any tips on how to not to lose all you tokens on gambling?

don't play when you are bored, or feel bad, i only play when i'm happy, i see that i earn more and lose less, or if i lose i don't feel depressed immediately, it make gambling more enjoiable, and eventually you will win, i think luck is connected with how you feel, maybe you think this is bullshit, but it hold some true
3143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian's own Bitcoin - What will be the impact to the original Bitcoin? on: June 02, 2017, 04:24:50 PM
Russian is planning to have its own version of Bitcoin backed by the Sberbank.

"Sberbank CEO Herman Gref has “agreed” on the development of a Russian national cryptocurrency with the country’s central bank.  Sberbank is Russia’s major state-controlled bank. In unofficial reports from local news aggregators, the so-called “Russian Bitcoin” will use Sberbank as its base and will be “the only cryptocurrency freely available for sale and purchase” in the country. “All other [cryptocurrencies] will only be available via exchanges or trading platforms,” the Telegram news channel DeСenter reports Friday."
https://cointelegraph.com/news/russian-bitcoin-will-be-countrys-only-freely-tradable-crypto-sberbank-ceo

What type of impact(s) will this have on the original Bitcoin?  Would the Russian Bitcoin survive?  Would the original Bitcoin be treated as a lower "second tier" crytocurrency in Russia or even in the world?  Would the original Bitcoin value goes down?

What is your thought on this?

this is strange really, because they said that they were to adopt bitcoin, and regulate it like japan, i'm wrong? now without any reason they go out with this boring thing about their own coins, which is not best than their rube fiat currency, i think russia is still afraid about the impossibility to control bitcoin, and want to make their own like many were trying in the past and failed, why they can't simply join the party like japan?
3144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins in 2020 on: June 02, 2017, 04:21:36 PM
Altcoins in 2020 was so hot, because I think in 2020 maybe, more than 50 altcoins were introduce in the market. due to high amount or value of this I assure that there's a lot of developer were develop a new altcoins but cheap price.

was? it's still need to happen lol, you are drunk, altcoin numbers is much more than 50, probably 5k and growing, by 2020 we would have this palce covered with 100k shit coin with no use, and more dev scamming people around, the market don't need more than the one we have now, the top 10 are the good one and will remain alive for many years
3145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum domain names why so expensive? on: June 02, 2017, 04:19:30 PM
because the coin have a very good traction now, did you see the value on the market? it's 1/10 of bitcoin, this is very high fro an altcoin, it's was the same with early day of bitcoin, everyone was going to register with the domain and was paying a lot to buy the best one, .org, com and other
3146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 02, 2017, 10:30:44 AM
I see bitcoin as additional source of income. Making for living just from bitcoin would be too risky and so many people are able to do this although many don't have other choice. But because of volatility you can't never now whether you will earn enough to cover your needs.

maybe this is true before when bitcoin was very young, but with bitcoin at these high price, ithink it's possible to live with only bitcoin, you can find plenty of way to have bitcoin now and all of them are very remunerative, i can sell stuff for bitcoin, and earn a lot when it raise again, or do mining or trading altcoin, some traders earn $1000 a day with altcoin, this is crazy and it's more than my job can ever dream lol
3147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: June 02, 2017, 10:28:50 AM
i have two question, when there will be the next airdrop? and can i use the same address for every airdrop or i need every time a new one with new bitcoin held there in that address?
3148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: June 02, 2017, 10:27:47 AM
Don't pay attention to a small price movement. When it explodes (if it) you'll notice immediately.

investors are accumulating now, this is why you see these price mini dump, they want to remain at the same price, it's a nice strategy, if they buy too many now all of sudden the price would increase too fast, and then decrease too fast again, which is not good, but i think the reward for miners is too high, maybe they are waiting for it to decrease a bit before investing more
3149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which of these alts? on: June 02, 2017, 10:24:17 AM
Which of these alts have the highest prospects in terms of value in the future?
  • Doge
  • DigiByte
  • Bytecoin
  • Siacoin
  • BitShares
  • Burst

Keep in consideration the latest pumps and their current value, is it a good time to invest in these?

doge only good for quick cash, pump and dump, not recommended, DGB is growing well i would recommend that, bytecoin is ok, they have a nice airdrop, i mostly use it for that and forget too much supply won't grow really big, sacoin, is not that good, it's dumped by dual mining too much, burst is good i would invest when the value tank again at 200 satoshi
3150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DGB wallet first sync on: June 02, 2017, 10:22:32 AM
it depends on some things, like your ssd your connection speed and your cpu, if you have all these good then it should not take much, i can sync in one day the DGB client, just wait it will eventually sync, or download a bootstrap somewhere
3151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin pump groups on: June 02, 2017, 10:18:51 AM
Can you post here altcoin pumper groups and the links to them?

fairpump is one of them, i followed them inthe past, but then i left them behind, soem of these group say somethign but then do another thing, you can find them on twitter easily, i don't trust these group, if they pump a coin it's not to make you reach this is certain, so be aware
3152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Worth to buy L3+ for LTC mining?? on: June 02, 2017, 10:13:42 AM
there is still much profit to make with this gear, i guess it's worth buying it now, if it's available, but the last news say the next batch is on july 15, so you won't be able to buy it for now, this thing have the same efficiency of the big brother L3 without the "+", they share same profitability, their profit now is equal to baikal a 900 giant, but a-900 giant consume onyl 200watt, if you can find a-900 giant second hand it's better
3153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EUR/Altcoin exchange on: June 02, 2017, 10:11:20 AM
Hi,

I´m new in crypto I have only Kraken acc with small amount for trying, but I would like to something where are more cheaper altcoins, new coins more choices... Is here any good exchange where I can deposit via SEPA? I found only Litebit.eu and Livecoin (it have 10euros fee for deposit), is there anything else?

Thanks

there is nothing like that both bittrex and polo use usd, the only one is the one you are already using kraken, the only thing you can do is use bitcoin after you bought them on kraken and then trade on bittrex or polo
3154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest for long term on: June 01, 2017, 08:02:52 PM
Hey i want to invest in altcoins.
my options in mind are Ripple, Zcash and Monero
can anyone suggests which is the best altcoin to invest in?

not on ripple yes on monero and zcash, or ETH, these are all good option for long term, the biggest coins are the most stable and have a chance to grow more, but don't invest in asic coin, they are all bound to fail, dash now it's dumped like you can see, gpu coins have a better market for investors, invest there
3155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins trading profitably on: June 01, 2017, 08:01:26 PM
I have been trading altcoins lately and of a truth I have not loss a single trade. I do follow my trading strategy 100%. I teach  a friend the same strategy and he has not loss a single trade. Have I hit a the deepest secret of trading?

there is no real startegy in trading it's about luck and about following the same pattern, recognize those patterns that can happen many times and behave in the same way as expected, some times you get it other tiem no, if you are good the times you get it are more than the time you are off and you do  a +EV trade
3156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diversifying my crypto. Which coin to research? on: June 01, 2017, 07:58:56 PM
DGB ETH ETC ZCSH ZCASHC LBRY, all top coins are good for me, buy those you won't regret, they are increase, DGB it's say to increase a lot in the near future, it offer a wide range of useful tool for gamers to earn coins while gaming
3157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does ETC have any genuine upside potential? Or more like Litecoin? on: May 31, 2017, 04:53:03 PM
its hard to say, but some big chinese exchanges come into etc, i think this coin has upside potential maybe 50-100$ are possible
you dont make a mistake when you buy 30-100 ETC's, still hold

Meh. Let's say you have 100 you bought at $17 ($1700) and it goes to $50 ($5000), that's a horrible ROI for something so speculative. You could put that $1700 in the stock market over time and make a much better return.

So from what I'm taking, keep my money in ETH and forget the ETC. it's a safer bet with higher upside potential. Of course this is all speculation, but the winning horse tends to keep on winning.

what stock market give you so easy roi over time tell me please? i'm sure crypto now give you the most return when you compare to forex, which is much risky and unpredictable and never get the same profit, ETC is also the only other coins which will help the hashratr to not kill the profit when ETH go pos, i see this as a good backup
3158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Long Does Physical BTC Wallets last? on: May 31, 2017, 03:24:13 PM
I have few USB flash drives which have 'died'. Is there any estimation how long those current hardware wallets on the market, for example trezor or ledger nano, will last?

it depend on how many data you write and read with that usb stick, but if you are going to put only the wallet.dat there it's not much and should not cause major break anytime soon, it will last many years, i would suggest to buy many of these usb stick they are cheap and save your ass if one is broken
3159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banned in Ecuador on: May 31, 2017, 03:22:22 PM
The reason they probably banned bitcoin in the first place is it's popularity and the fear that there will be a popular coin/financial system active in their country without their supervision. Generally countries afraid of that kind of free payment system that won't give them taxes.

but they can impose taxes if they want, so banning bitcoin is counter productive for them, because they would lose possible taxes gain, if they can't get 100% taxes out of it they still lose a great amount of revenue from taxes, Ecuador is not a big country and bitcoin will not lose much hopefully by being banned in this small country
3160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feathercoin Reward Halving Countdown!! on: May 31, 2017, 10:10:07 AM
Feathercoin rewards are being cut from 80 per block to 40 in 52 days.

There are also alot of recent exciting developments.

Discussion of segregated witness and lightning networks. (Already have anon tx)

This time tested coin is still being supported heavily by its development team.

I didn't know feather coin had anonymous transactions. Are all its transactions anonymous? What anonymity system does it use? I know of darkcoin's system and monero's cryptonote system. Is it using something similar?

https://forum.feathercoin.com/topic/8609/faq-feathercoin-wallet-advanced-feature-stealth-addresses

but that is not anonimity like monero, stealth address are the same addresses used in bitcoin, those that are hidden you know and could be seen with groupaddress command in the console, but those are not really
anonymous

Is feathercoin even worth using? Does it even offer anything other than fast confirmation times?

just a cheap coin pump and dump, i can't see anything special in this coin,a nd it's a very old coin, old coin are often not useful
