3141  Economy / Economics / Re: IBM working with US Federal banks to develop digital currency on: September 30, 2015, 06:28:13 PM
A centralized and controlled version of a digital currency backed by government is nothing different than the actual fiat money system. I mean almost 95% of the fiat money is digital.
That is going in circles in my opinion. But let them do if they want to.I will not use that shitty crap.

It's called marketing and rebranding. THey will launch the same old shit with a different smell and sell it as the next big thing in hopes people ignore Bitcoin and go for the "official" alternative. Bitcoin needs to spend a lot in marketing too, let's not forget how marketing can win battles even if the advertised product is objectively worse than an alternative.
3142  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: September 30, 2015, 06:10:50 PM
lol bitcoin as a retirement account is not agood idea...coz once if ur private key i guessed by hacker all your retirement will be gone...so think of it

First of all if you are going to look at Bitcoin as a retirement address, you will be creating a cold storage vault that is created offline and never enters the internet. This can be done by using for example Armory in a Live CD of Linux or Bitaddress.org by downloading the algorithm (even tho Armory is probably better). You get your private keys printed and there you have it, an unhackeable vault of Bitcoin. Now your worry is storing it in a place that cannot be robbed irl.
3143  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: September 30, 2015, 06:07:35 PM
To save money first of all you need to be able to have excess money. A lot of people out there can't have excess of money simply because they get exactly right about enough money to pay bills, food, basic expenses, then they are back to 0. Every month, without a escape from this loop. This is why in capitalism most of the old money remains in old money's hand. If you are able to save money you are part of a privileged class.
3144  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dream Fantasy Sports For BTC on: September 30, 2015, 06:02:16 PM
Are there any dream fantasy e/sports that accept bitcoins?

What do you mean? e-sports as in gaming? I don't think so. I don't get why this isn't huge yet. I mean League of Legends moves millions of dollars yearly, it's a such a big business yet I can't find any big place with good cashflow to do some bettings on LOL teams. I think I could do well because im pretty knowledgeable with the scene and I know who is going to win usually.
3145  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: preev.com down ? on: September 30, 2015, 05:48:06 PM
I once had a website that used to show that message when I forgot to pay the host, so it's probably exactly that. I liked this website to get an average price of Bitcoin anywhere in a lightweight form, I always had a tab opened, I hope it comes back, meanwhile i will use a cryptofolio.info tab which also shows the price without wasting resources like Bitcoinwisdom.com
3146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2100 of year on: September 30, 2015, 05:38:56 PM
There's people out there like Ray Kurzweil predicting singularity reached by about 2045. I mean what would happen if this actually was the case, how would this interact with Bitcoin? If AI is reached and surpasses humans, the mining power.. so many questions. The next decades will be totally mindblowing and thats why I easily see Bitcoin reaching ridiculous amounts of value per coin, everything is going digital.
3147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Simplistic fix for blocksize problem... on: September 30, 2015, 05:31:12 PM
It seems like a good idea for me. The mentioned altcoin could be forced to be tied to Bitcoin value, and could be a brand new altcoin that could only be "mined" by changing satoshis to make it appear.

In fact, it could be named "satoshi-Tx"  (satoshi for transfers LOL) and have the exact value of a satoshi, with his own chain.

But I guess that would be complicated to.

There's no way to force a value in a economy without manipulating and regulating it. No one is going to be interested in be part of that. What we've learned from our currency existence in history as cryptocurrency has spawned only a couple years ago is the fact that no one wants to pay for anything else that isn't Bitcoin, so whatever happens, will happen under Bitcoin's wings.
3148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 30, 2015, 05:24:53 PM
That's true, but I think they should buy some senior member accounts at good rate and then join signature campaign that would help them to earn more and faucets doesn't sounds great as it doesn't pay in higher amount, so for a newbie signature campaigns are the best option if they have senior member or hero member accounts than they can earn good bitcoins out of it.
Yeah, but buying a higher rank accounts directly isnt a good idea for newbies imo. They need to learn all thing about bitcointalk, even about what sign camp is, as a newbie. So they could buy higher rank account when they are atleast junior member, which they have known what a sign campaign is and all rules on this forum.

Selling a newbie an hero account would be a waste of an account. The guy will probably get banned in no no time because it will be too obvious that he is way too clueless on any of this and he is just here to spam some one liners on the offtopic section to try to get some satoshis off a signature campaign. But sometimes those newbies aren't actual newbies and are buying the accounts through a newbie account so you never know.
3149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: a dumbed down version of the 1MB point of view on: September 30, 2015, 05:22:45 PM
From what I've read and i've read quite a bit, the limit is not an artificial one because some guys have an agenda to push Bitcoin into a fee market model, the thing is, the problem surrounding Bitcoin now leaves us no other choice but to do this unless we want to jeopardize the decentralization of nodes + other security problems.
3150  Economy / Speculation / Re: The most true, but also the cruel price prediction on: September 25, 2015, 05:07:38 PM
Lack of tunnel vision bias. The 1k ATH will look like a tiny drop in the sea in the next decade or two. This is a hint in how Bitcoinwisdom will look like in the future:

We are in the "stable low price where everyone ignores the elephant in the room for years" phase.
Pick up the easy fruits now or cry later.
3151  Economy / Speculation / Re: The 21 Inc. Computer is the new Altair 8800 on: September 25, 2015, 05:02:40 PM
Feels really, really, really good being so ahead in the game compared to the 99% of people out there. I mean back then who was aware on what an Altair 8800 was? probably just a bunch of nerds.
The next 10 years are going to be amazing. Hold on to yer coins.
3152  Other / Meta / Re: how much its take up to become 5coin member on: September 25, 2015, 04:59:19 PM
it mean time does not matter.activities are main matter?

Yes but activity require time , I mean you only gain 14 Activity per  two weeks and you don't get activity if you don't have posts . and here is how much time is needed to rank-up if you post regulary and get 14 activity per two weeks

Code:
1 X 14 = 14
2 X 14 = 28
3 X 14 = 42   --  Jr. Member ( 1.5 month)
4 X 14 = 56
5 X 14 = 70   --  Member (2.5 month)
6 X 14 = 84
7 X 14 = 98
8 X 14 = 112
9 X 14 = 126   --  Full Member (4.5 month)
10 X 14 = 140
11 X 14 = 154
12 X 14 = 168
13 X 14 = 182
14 X 14 = 196
15 X 14 = 210
16 X 14 = 224
17 X 14 = 238
18 X 14 = 252   --  Senior Member (8.5 month)
19 X 14 = 266
20 X 14 = 280
21 X 14 = 294
22 X 14 = 308
23 X 14 = 322
24 X 14 = 336
25 X 14 = 350
26 X 14 = 364
27 X 14 = 378
28 X 14 = 392
29 X 14 = 406
30 X 14 = 420
31 X 14 = 434
32 X 14 = 448
33 X 14 = 462
34 X 14 = 476
35 X 14 = 490   --  Hero Member (1.3 years)
36 X 14 = 504
37 X 14 = 518
38 X 14 = 532
39 X 14 = 546
40 X 14 = 560
41 X 14 = 574
42 X 14 = 588
43 X 14 = 602
44 X 14 = 616
45 X 14 = 630
46 X 14 = 644
47 X 14 = 658
48 X 14 = 672
49 X 14 = 686
50 X 14 = 700
51 X 14 = 714
52 X 14 = 728
53 X 14 = 742
54 X 14 = 756
55 X 14 = 770
56 X 14 = 784  -- Legendary lucky rank starts  (2 years)
57 X 14 = 798
58 X 14 = 812
59 X 14 = 826
60 X 14 = 840
61 X 14 = 854
62 X 14 = 868
63 X 14 = 882
64 X 14 = 896
65 X 14 = 910
66 X 14 = 924
67 X 14 = 938
68 X 14 = 952
69 X 14 = 966
70 X 14 = 980
71 X 14 = 994
72 X 14 = 1008
73 X 14 = 1022
74 X 14 = 1036
75 X 14 = 1050
76 X 14 = 1064
77 X 14 = 1078
78 X 14 = 1092  -- Not achieved yet, wait for this update -> Legendary rank achieved! (3 years)

As you see it takes a long time to become legendary member on here. That being said those of you who sell accounts or buy accounts you need to view this chart and see the time it takes for members to rank up and sell accordingly. Dont let ppl talk you into selling for less than an account is really worth
Wow, that's awesome, I got legendary status on the first possible activity level! Cheesy

That sounds extremely lucky. I wonder what are the % of getting Legendary on 784. Considering there are 22 ranks above that to the limit (1092), 22x14=308 extra days of potential waiting.
So around 0.22% possibilities to get that lucky??
3153  Economy / Digital goods / Re: i want 3coin account on: September 25, 2015, 04:56:33 PM
let me tell the price of three coin account and how much caan i eearn by every post.
You could ask in the marketplace -> digital goods section and open a thread that says
"[WTB] Full Member account"
and you'll have people making offers. There isn't a fixed price. Hero Accounts went for almost 2 BTC last time I saw it, Full account may go for less than 0.5, probably something between 0.1 to 0.4 depending on the BTC price.
3154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges "Lending" features. Worth it? on: September 25, 2015, 04:54:24 PM
It is "safe" for the most part, especially on Bitfinex due to their size and track record. Lending for margin on exchanges has proven to be a stabe return for some investors and is geared more towards the risk averse who would rather not take a chance in playing with the markets but rather have the opportunity to generate slight gains regardless of whether the market is going up or down.

I would not expect to get rich on margin lending/swaps though.
Well, if OP has 65 BTC and he starts making 2.6 BTC a day (who the hell makes that?), in a month he'll have more than  doubled his investment. Then he just has to reinvest again and keep building a ton of BTC. Seems like a good deal to me. Too good to be true actually, even considering the risk that the exchange may run away which is unlikely that you are that unlucky that it happens when you are doing it.

You'll need to get your Bitcoins taxed tho, as far as I know Poloniex is going to require you all kind of credentials, not sure how Bitifinex works tho.
3155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the condition of bitcoin in future? on: September 25, 2015, 04:50:08 PM
Well, considering Bitcoin will reach it's 21th million coin at about year 2140, im hoping that to reach full version (version 1.0) it takes a little bit less than that. I don't want to be a grandpa that is still waiting to use something out of the beta phase of Bitcoin, I hope the full version has arrived by then Cheesy
3156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not invest instead of cloudmining?? on: September 25, 2015, 04:45:53 PM
Maybe when technology gets better we'll come up with a legit way to make gains with cloudmining, but right now I haven't seen any evidence of it being a worthy investment. But then again, if the tech gets better, the miners will push the market accordingly. There's no escape.
3157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any Bitcoin accepted Store around you? on: September 25, 2015, 04:36:26 PM
Not near, but I know some places that have IRL shops with bitcoin merchants. I would need to take a travel with my car or train to get there tho, so im not sure if that qualifies as "around me", but not that far to the point it becomes stupid to go there to do some shopping.
3158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to stop the focus on buying coffees and start focusing on remittance! on: September 25, 2015, 04:35:08 PM
Well it seems some people want to turn Bitcoin into an elitist asset that only rich people would use anyway. I think thats a guaranteed failure. We NEED to both take care of small transactions and huge transactions too. Cash going away is a reality in the following years and we need a solid system to counteract the e-fiat closed source crypto that the gov will drop on us.
3159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: September 25, 2015, 04:10:06 PM
I would just suggest that you get an actual job whether it be an easy part time job or an actual job, and set aside in your budget $1 for each hour you work to be put into purchasing bitcoins.  At this time, I would think this would be the easiest way to attain bitcoins without having to earn say $.001 an hour enduring faucets and the like.  There is no new online jobs that really offer you to earn bitcoins per hour, unless you are a web developer or something like that.
He probably wants to make some beermoney on the side of having a real job, I don't think anyone can survive with 1 dollar an hour.
Anyway, any signature campaign that doesn't have depressing rates should deliver 1 dollar after one hour, but do not spam making 100 posts a day or else you'll probably get banned.
3160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: September 24, 2015, 06:45:42 PM
Real simple, start trading here. Seriously though, maybe :
1) Invest in a gambling site, because of the house edge you'll win in the long run
2) Have a look at this post, as I'm not going to repeat something already said https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1153888.msg12165431#msg12165431

Why would you do that? It seems like a big risk to put a stack of money outside your wallet in some gambling site that may dissapear next morning.
Unless someone has a better idea to make profit off those 40 BTC, I would just hold them. The interest is the what you will get as BTC goes up in price in the future.
If you want quicker rewards you need bigger risks, and that's probably trading, gambling and putting your coins in some dodgy place like BTCJams or a house edge on a casino.
