3141  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia Claims Portal Registration on: September 25, 2021, 10:55:36 PM
Few days back on Sep 16, 2021 again i received an email from Cryptopia that i should register on  Cryptopia Claims Portal in order to claim my account. I did that but then for account verification they ask so difficult questions which no one can remember like account registration date or withdrawal / deposits details. How can one remember these details  Huh

Everyone know that Cryptopia have scammed and i have personally written off the money which i had in Cryptopia and told myself its lost forever.

Why Cryptopia sends these emails and hurt our feelings  Undecided

Actually, it's not difficult and no need to remember it all. For every transaction you have made there, there's an email associated with it. Just check your email unless you did a message wipeout to clean your inbox.

Just curious here, it's just last Sept. 16, you got that email? I have got mine last year in December. Not expecting there will be a good result but since then, I didn't receive any update.

Portal registration is necessary. No choice but to comply there.
3142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 22, 2021, 11:23:13 PM

Yes, it creates a big impact and might attract more viewers. Actually, there are even people that don't know there's an upcoming fight involving Canelo and they just learned it because of the news lol.

If that's true they have six weeks for a build-up but definitely gates and pay per view sales will shoot up because of the bloodbath between the two, but every Canelo fight is a blockbuster, the boxing world knows he can deliver, hopefully, we can see a fight like Triple G and Canelo on this fight I still consider that the best Canelo fight hopefully this fight will become a candidate for fight of the year, there's so much hype on the fight.

We are not sure if it will reach the same level as GGG and Canelo's fight.

Since the fight was organized and officially announce, Caleb Plant is a heavy underdog and the majority is not considering him as in the same league as Canelo. On that face-off during their presscon, Caleb Plant starts the punch but didn't able to dodge Canelo's counterattack. What's more during the actual fight.

But regardless, I'm expecting that Plant will do something to show the world that he can equally fight with Canelo. He should live with his trashtalks.
3143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 22, 2021, 11:08:35 PM
This is really bad news, I was expecting for Casimero to fight Inoue as there were reports that both fighters wanted the fight, it seems the WBO got tired of waiting and if there is nothing on paper about the fight happening Casimero will have no other option but to fight Butler, sometimes I wonder what promoters are actually thinking? The fight of Casimero vs Inoue would have most likely produced more profits than this fight and yet here we are, it seems we may have to wait even longer for the fight to actually take place.

I don't understand how it becomes bad news? It's a good match. What's the difference between if Casimero will fight Inoue this year or next year?

More importantly, there's already an arrange fight to Casimero that is more realistic to happen compared to endless speculation involving Inoue and Donaire. It's put an end to all rumors and expectations that Inoue is the next opponent for Casimero.

Just enjoy the show. The match between Casimero and Inoue will happen soon. Remember that it was well-prepared already before and just waiting for the fight date but just got delayed and halted.
3144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Future bitcoin price is high and low on: September 22, 2021, 10:53:49 PM
What will be the price of bitcoin in the coming years as the price of Bitcoin goes down? The current price of the British ranges from 41 thousand to 50 thousand. Bitcoin was the highest price of 48-50 thousand. The bitcoin that everyone planned that from the end of 2021 to 2022, the price of bitcoin will exceed 60 thousand plus? So what will be the price of Bitcoin in the coming years?

Analyze the situation. Form and build market speculation or prediction. Create a hypothesis. Gather some data and information to support your claims.

The bottom line, create your own technical analysis on your given factors.

There's no person, even the professional one, who can tell you the exact thing that can happen in the future. More importantly, just acquired as you can without worrying too much about the price in the future. You have thousands of reasons why you should add bitcoin to your portfolio.
3145  Economy / Economics / Re: DO I NEED TO LOOSE THE ONE I HAVE GOTTEN OR LOOK TO GAIN MORE? on: September 22, 2021, 10:27:09 PM
Everyone’s wish is to have a good and dream future which is more brighter than any other thing else, but by so doing, some loose the ones they have gotten already while others tends to gain more and add to their fortunes, thereby making them more famous and relevant. The Bible said “Hold thou fast which thou has” so there is no justification for you to loose the things you have gotten but this don’t always stand as some people are ready to gain even the one which you have accumulated for yourself. In my life, I feel better to gain than loss because;
1.Winning and gaining is what am in this life for
2.  Gaining will make me more relevant in all endeavors than to loose
3.  For me to get engaged in many things, then my mindset is determined already
    on gains
4.  I say yes to the pains because no pain then no gain, therefore I should have
    more.

No need for such a dramatic and lengthy post for your concern.

If you have an active investment, whatever it is, just focus on your goal to make it successful and try to deal with any distractions, problems, struggles, etc. that you will encounter while on progress. That's the challenge there. You don't need to put lots of concerns in your mind that can affect your decision.

Just be comfortable and relax while working your way up.
3146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 22, 2021, 10:17:53 PM
Per rumor, I think it would CStand. Also, there are rumors that CStand's arrival on Ginebra is not welcome by most of his teammates, this might also be the one reason why they are losing games opposite to what we all have expected.
Then it's time for him to look for a team that will appreciate him, and I think he will be more valued in B League as C. Stand is used to playing in international competitions. I think C. Stand really has the talent, he just belongs to the wrong team which obviously affected his performance and his statistics.

Yeah that is if he have an offer on B.league better he grabs it since he's career will be at stake if he continue to playat ginebra where we know that he didn't fit on their current system. But I don't know why this happen to ginebra this season and I think they should re-evaluate more what the cost of their current struggle since if they stick on their current system they might lose more games and possibly they cannot reach to the finals.

That current system takes BGSM to the championship last season. There's no need to change it just because of one player. Would be better to get rid of a thing that destroys that effective system. Limit CStand's playing time and make it balance even he's on a good or worst performance on that night. Although it's too late to do that now so better revamp it next conference either trade CStand or trust the process that soon he will finally create a good blend for his teammates.

Changing the system for the sake of CStand is already a spoiled brat giving him always the spoon. CStand should do the adjustment, not the whole team.

I think the problem starts when CStand demands more playing time as he's used on that on his former team. A newcomer then will request like that instead of letting Coach Tim Cone do his usual rotation, it might be something not acceptable to his teammates especially at those who are in BGSM for long but didn't getting enough playing time.

I thought SMB would lose the game.

Nice last play design by the SMB, just in time and Marcio did not fail us with this game-winning shot.
SMB just won by 1 point and they did not cover the spread.  Sad

Many got burned on that game. Here in P2P betting, they even considered that game as having no bearing and a sure win by SMB. Yes, they won but the handicap didn't cover. Alaska surprises everybody. That was almost a win and a supposed big upset.
3147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 22, 2021, 09:59:58 PM

Both John Riel Casimero and Naoya Inoue are vocal about the chance of their fight happening in December. That makes me think that there's already a negotiation but they are just limiting yet and not disclosing the information to the public.

And now with this recent news, what may be the reasons that their fight won't push through.

According to the news, a purse bid hearing will be called by the WBO if not push right away within the negotiation period. It means we can now conclude it was a final decision. There's still no mentioned date so probably the fight will be on December or 1Q next year.
3148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 22, 2021, 09:48:29 PM
it's true what you say if there is no prohibition about a boxer doing a verbal war to bring down his opponent mentality before fighting, but in my opinion there must be certain limits in this regard, I think everyone here would agree that psywar should not attack religion, family as well as the color of a person skin and while many other sports have begun to uphold the value of sportsmanship and reject racism, of course boxing athletes can also do it in my opinion, I think a good psywar is one that attacks the individual player without having to bring racism and ridicule to their families.

That certain limit is subjective and boxers can't control their mouth in most cases especially if they are in ravage mode. The said argument between Canelo and Caleb Plant is fortunately not that "mic-ed" so the public or viewers, didn't really know the exact statement that triggered Canelo. Anyhow, it's something below the belt as a reason and as far as reports are concerned, it's about family. After the incident and at the press conference, Caleb didn't stop throwing things to Canelo "like he has a backup on his claims" and Canelo got triggered again saying his final statement, "See you on November 6th".

With what had happened during the press conference, I think tickets would be selling like hotcakes.

Yes, it creates a big impact and might attract more viewers. Actually, there are even people that don't know there's an upcoming fight involving Canelo and they just learned it because of the news lol.
3149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What every new trader should be focused on on: September 22, 2021, 09:32:17 PM
I see a lot of newbie traders complain about lack of trading capital. And I want you to know that you are focused on the wrong thing. Your attention should be on focused on the trading skills first before worrying about the capital. Trading capital is not the most important thing in trading. The most important thing is mastering the skills. No matter how big your trading capital is, if you lack the trading skill you won't book any profit and will most likely blow your account. On the other hand, if you have the skill set, you will be able to handle and grow any trading capital into something substantial.

They are newbies so what can you expect? It's not that they will learn things overnight. Skills will learn on the way. Let them complain. Let them lose some money. Let them confuse. Let them build experience on their own. Let them learn the hard way.

If they are serious in their goals and really eager to learn to trade, they will eventually learn how to deal with their problems starting from the capital or how much money they will risk to how's the stuff they will do while doing trades in order to gain profits or at least maintain winning stats.
3150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now you can pay highway tolls using Bitcoin on: September 22, 2021, 09:20:47 PM
Here is really a good news for us .With the new FASTag feature, users can choose among 17 operators and enter the vehicle registration number and FASTag top-up amount, which can be anywhere between Rs 100 to Rs 10,000 worth of Bitcoin.

source @yourstory

I thought a direct payment of bitcoin (direct to toll operators) but as expected, there's a third party involved. It's like topping up toll fees with bitcoin payment but fiat is still received at the end, to the operators. I too always top-up my expressway toll fees thru our local exchanges.

Regardless, yes, it's good news to consider in your country. Alternative payment method. I don't know the status or how's popular that platform in your country but as long as they add new useful features on their platform, more people will use them while at the same time, creating awareness of what bitcoin is.
3151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you get in early on certain alts? What's your source.. on: September 22, 2021, 08:55:37 PM
i only learn about certain coins when they start hitting exchanges and mainstream news etc,
by which time it is usually already 'too late'.

Actually, it's not that you are "too late" but rather just hesitant to decide quickly. Either, a) it's a product of a hype b) anticipating price will decrease just later on c) don't have enough budget to make an entry.

So what 3 sources should i keep in a pinned tab, and keep my eyes on daily, to catch early coins ?

That was tough. Sometimes those who are catching early coins are risk-takers. You can also try to check some recent projects who are currently doing some ICOs, IPOs, IDOs, or any kinds of startups on those ICO checker websites then from there, follow them patiently.

ive been looking around on the 2 sites suggested, i see that they basically just list projects, and the funding of the projects themselves, happen on several different platforms, and those platforms all seem pretty complicated and confusing to me for now ..  you need some other token first,   and then stake it, and then only the x largest stakers get an actual something , etc idk ....   im still very confused...    so im going to do some more investigating, and then i'll surely be back here with some questions regarding specifics etc, regarding IDO/ICO stuff.

That's a good start. Familiarizing things and how's the stuff there.

With continuous activity and building experience, you will learn automatically how to hunt coins. It's not something that you need a source or reference before you can decide on what coins you will risk your precious money.

Correct, come back regarding questions about ICO stuff so that somehow you can see the pulse of the community.
3152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 20, 2021, 11:59:30 PM
If that is what they have been telling to Caleb then this is a huge mistake, it is obvious Canelo is going to have a lot of support from the public because as I said he carries himself in a respectful way, but there are many others that will dislike him simply because he is winning with such ease, so the only thing that Caleb needed to do was to embrace his status as the underdog and he would have gotten even more support, after all who does not like an underdog story? But I think he is shooting himself on the foot if his trash talking is actually being used to try to gather support for himself.
Yes, it's really a bad move by Caleb to make his way to the fight and trash talk Canelo. He will pay dearly for it, Canelo doesn't talk but maybe deep inside he will surely aiming for the head and knock out Caleb if it presents itself. Caleb on the other hard is making himself into a deep position because how can you trash talk a fighter wherein he is destroying everyone in the path? And Caleb will not gather any support from the public, on the contrary he could be hated for this for the rest of his boxing career.
Canelo is an extremely disciplined fighter, he doesn't seem to be the kind of person that is going to let those provocations take him out of his game, but at the same time I think he's going to remember and when he's above that ring he's going to try to punish him for talking so much, so I think instead of going for the knockout immediately he's probably going to punch him on the body over and over again so he doesn't forget who is he fighting against and that Canelo is not someone that you take lightly.
He does his talking in the ring, that's what I admire so much about him. His opponent can talk trash about him but he will just continue training, focus on his game plan and during the fight night, he will do his usual job, which is to destroy an opponent. Caleb Plant better be aggressive inside too, not just talk trash outside trying to play mind games.

I'm expecting Caleb Plant is well prepared for this fight. We can expect he will be aggressive here. It's something an achievement already that he is facing a tough Canelo. Winning against this boxer will result in much fame, popularity, and future big contracts that he never experienced in his career.

But let's be real here, that's only "what if". I'm also one of the users here that thinks an upset will not happen.

Caleb Plant is currently at @5.60. Can't resist that odds for those gamblers who are looking for decent odds.
3153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impact of underage gambling? on: September 20, 2021, 11:58:10 PM
So often at times, we are always warned not to allow kids to get involved in gambling and one of the major reasons is that gambling is a highly addictive activity, but in recent times we see how young folks are making a positive impact and making money for themselves through the cryptocurrency space.
What is the best age a kid should get involve in online crypto gambling and what is your recommendation for that?

We can't stop them if they really want to gamble. The more they are limited to some things, the more they will be aggressive and will find ways to gamble.

Let's just do our best to educate them and talked to them nicely that gambling is risky. Sometimes, they are just dragged by their friends and so and that was part of social relationship that we can't control.

Trust them that they won't end up badly doing gambling. Teach them to become responsible. that's the only way we can helped them.
3154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 20, 2021, 11:55:50 PM

A win is a win even if he feels disappointed, its just a pride though and yes, Casimero has to be more prepared this time so he can have a good chance to beat Inoue if ever their fight will push through later this year.
A win is a win whatever things happened during his last fight, that's already concluded he needs now more good preparation as he will probably fighting for his future career, not only with the monster Inoue but with all the fans who are now keeping an eye with after those trash talks that he made.

If he becomes careless and is beaten by a KO, it will reflect hard with his career, better to build a strong foundation to strategize every move that he'll going to take while facing Inoue inside the ring.

Quote
That dirty talk is just part of their advertisement and its really effective on the side of Casimero, now Inoue wants to fight with him.

He clearly snatched the attention and now he bring the talk to his camp. It's only the signing of the contract and the date we are
waiting but from a better view this fight might be happened before this year will end.

It seems the trashtalk is getting attention and that's good for promotion on their upcoming fight. The fact that today's live venue is limited, they are expecting revenues thru PPV and online subscriptions.

Viewers can expect a good bout between these two. We are not talking about pure defense here. If you were able to watch Inoue vs Donaire, no defense was tested but they are exchanging punches and who first to surrender will be lost.

Looking forward to seeing that between Casimero and Inoue.
3155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best crypto gambling sites that accept players from USA! on: September 20, 2021, 11:50:55 PM
Most gambling sites usually ban players that use VPN so it would be better to look for a gambling site that will be more convenient to you and your place of residency. Even if you use a VPN to hide your location, they're still able to detect it so it's better to be sure than to take the risks especially if it will put your capital at risk.
They use VPN because their ISP blocks access to that gambling sites. If the gambling sites do not have a problem for users who use VPN, the site will allow them but if the user wants to withdraw the win money, maybe the site needs more things to prove they are not cheating on their site. If the user just wants to have the experience playing many gambling sites, using VPN will be okay because they do not think about withdrawing the win money. But I consider that search for the other gambling site will be better for the user just in case to prevent the thing that they do not want it in the future.

Don't worry too much about using a VPN if no mention of it on their TOS. Gamblers can also ask directly for their support for assurance. Just use the IP in the same region. In big winnings, we are not talking about getting over $10,000 or $5,000 winnings here. $1,000 withdrawals for example should be fine and won't have a problem.

Gambling sites won't ask for documents for big winnings but instead big withdrawals. Withdrawing by batches is advisable just to be sure. Don't switch also from one place to another place (random) as a user might end up in a region where that site is strict.
3156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING: Skill-based vs. Chance-based on: September 20, 2021, 11:43:40 PM
Well, I really don't have the luck when it comes to gambling, especially when I play dice or slot machines, I always lose when I play chance-based games. So, I am also into playing skill-based, poker is also one of my choices.
You might not really know the level of lucky you have or how lucky you can be when you change your style of gambling but the reasons why many persons choose to stay away from luck base gambling is still not clear. Sometimes luck can just appear to you without knowing the outcome. The more you gambler on lucky base game, the more you will get to know what up.
Dont really believed on transferring on other places will really make you lucky because everything is random even if you do deal up with strategic type of games but if luck isnt on your side you would definitely still lose.

People does have different preference when it comes to games that they would like to play because some do like instantaneous type of profits and results and some do really love to deal with those games which

you can make use your skill at your advantage. There's no actually need to choose because its our money to be used so we can do all we want.

As you said people have different preferences. While at the same time, people also have a habit of doing something like a lucky charm to somehow increase their winning rate. In an RNG luck-based game, it's usual to see some different methods to attempt attracting luck. Imagine, in an RPG game where upgrading in most cases is luck-based, characters owners have different ways to increase the luck even they know it's RNG. They will do it based on time, based on location, and many more. What's more in gambling where money is at stake so gamblers not just doing a quick bet.

Nothing wrong after all. Just follow what we think we are comfortable with. Smiley
3157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 20, 2021, 11:34:40 PM

Since we talked about Dallas Mavericks, I just recently know that they are finished as a runner-up on the Kyle Lowry trade. If happened, Lowry will be a good backup for Luka Doncic and Tim Hardaway Jr. This is something I looked forward but Lowry chooses the Miami Heat. Not with the money as New Orleans Pelicans has the best offer for Lowry. Maybe he thinks the Miami Heat core squad is much better compare to Dallas Mavericks.

Or maybe, he doesn't want to play at the Western Conference were making the playoffs is so tough and challenging.

Mavs Plan to Sign Kyle Lowry: How Close Were They?

Blackwater Bossing coaching staff to undergo major revamp following record-breaking losing streak

Just recently, we all know that Blackwater made the history of the longest losing streak in league history. They finished at a record of 0-11. I'm not aware that it's not just only the standing but they already lost 19 straight games. Yes, since the last year's bubble.

Revamping coaching staff? Is that really their problem? Maybe slightly yes, as the coach's role is to give morale to players while assembling and forming teams. But for me, it's on the players. I'm not taking the reason that they are still not in shape as other teams on their level are improving.

Even Coach Tim Cone will coach them, if these players don't have that desire to compete, then it's useless. Even Phil Jackson won't give this team a win lol. Losing 19 straight games is not a joke and a serious problem already. They should revamp from top to bottom.
3159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING!] For gamblers using coins.ph on: September 18, 2021, 07:24:19 AM
There's a new update on coins.ph now.

A new requirement is added that you have to identify not only where you will send the coins but also the source of the coins you received.
It has even been brought out by one of the campaign participants of bestchange regarding this issue. you can see the full convo here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5217201.1700

That wasn't new but maybe coins.ph is now asking the majority of their users about it.

Back in my Chipmixer Signature Campaign days, and I think I posted and shared this to coins.ph thread, on my second video interview, they pinpoint a transaction on my history to where it came from. I responded that it was a freelance payment but never did they ask the specific source. No follow-up questions were done. I was able to answer them about my financial status since I was employed and I even show them my Income Tax Return. The interview lasted for 15 minutes. The next yearly interview never mentioned any crypto-related stuffs but just an update to my submitted documents.

Just recently, I received another enhanced verification request on which I will ignore now because of inconvenience on my part. There are more alternatives now so will refrain from using coins.ph for now.

I am certainly all for casinos promoting their services but not through these misleading means. I think that the streamers should at least be staking some of their own money as opposed to getting it all from affiliate earnings.

Not all streamers have the opportunity to be partnered or sponsored by a gambling site so obviously, there are streamers that use their own money to play at the gambling site during their live stream or recorded ones.

As I said above, streamers are earning thru a number of views because of ads exposure.

The said sponsorship is just a big perk if the streamer really has that big name, reputable, famous, and more importantly considered as heavy influencers.
