That means that generally, a user who has owned the account from the beginning would have higher-quality posts and would understand the rules. This prevents spam.

Buying an account also falsely establishes a reputation for the user: how can you be considered a Senior/Hero Member/Legendary if you barely know anything about Bitcoin? It's like if one were to feign 5 years of experience in marketing and apply for a job after slapping it on their resume.
