3141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: November 14, 2018, 06:40:15 AM
I can't really say if Rip will be the next Bitcoin and I don't even think that Ripple has what it takes to be the next Bitcoin. Though the platform is ok but will shouldn't forget that it is not fully dece which makes many to be skeptical of the project.
What do you mean? I don’t see anyone claiming to be skeptical about investing their money in XRP. If people were being skeptical at first, then it wouldn’t have been on the top 100 not to talk of being on the list as 3rd. RIPPLE is good and is the best investment anyone can go for this year and for long-term.

But we know that it wouldn’t take position from Bitcoin as the first, but there is every possibility that it might take the 2nd position from ETH as it’s already close to that.
3142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: future of NEO on: November 14, 2018, 06:00:17 AM
Many people were optimistic about Neo earlier on in the year but it is obvious that Neo may not have any significant increae in price until China allows cryptocurrency to flourish and grow without stragulating crypto!
Sorry you’re wrong. NEO price rate now has nothing to do with China. All cryptocurrencies in the market with Bitcoin included has been slacking this year and most of them has stabilized at a particular price range and not making any moves going below or above what they are at now. Cryptocurrency is not being owned or controlled by anyone, not even the Chinese like some of you claim. Whatever they do not affect the price market.
3143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Treat trading as your job on: November 13, 2018, 07:44:42 AM
Having more potential coins that promise if holding for the future has growth is the right step to take advantage of opportunities that occur on the market rather than making panic sales that make a loss

Yes investing in the good coins is always a best choice as you have less chances of loss if you invest in Top 20 or so coins. Regarding the OP topic, i think we do not need to treat trading as  full time job as it can be done as a part time. This way you will have job income too and also have this trading income.
Well you can’t say this that you have low chances of loss when you put your investment in top coins. That doesn’t work for everyone. Although it is not in majority too but a good number of traders face problems and loss even trading with high coins like bitcoin and eth and others. Reason is not the coin, the learning they came up with. They are quite crunchy and basic that needs imperilment.
3144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What crypto-pairs are best? on: November 13, 2018, 07:03:02 AM
the best stays in pairs at Bitcoin and ethereum. because this is the best crypto currency. other than that you can enter USD to pair up. so that it will be a good exchange for the future, because it supports fiat currencies.
I have always been a fan of these two great coins in the market. They have been more than profitable in the long run despite the bad markets and the downs that are being countered everyday.

ETH and Bitcoin are still the top runners and after a certain drop in the values of these coins, they just started showing big reluctance to further fall. This shows the strength of the projects that back these coins and this is the reason why people earn profit on investing in these technologies.
When it comes to volume, when it comes to at least still being able to make do with their movements and taking advantage of them easily, I will say they are not bad pairs to trade at all.

However, btc pairs to me are always the main thing, considering that you really do not have much in mind than to just use the bitcoin altcoin pairs to increase your bitcoin stash for the long run. At least, talking from my own angle, I trade only btc-usd and btc-altcoin pair depending on the state of the market at every point in time.
3145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: November 13, 2018, 06:08:19 AM
I am curious to know if someone continually invested a lot of time in studying a game involved in gambling, further if he had played the game a lot to understand the intricacies involved, then can we call him an expert in that gambling game? If we do call him an expert then we clearly differentiate his experience and expertise from that of a novice. This clearly shows that the person is capable of winning more as an expert than the novice who really does not have the in-depth understanding of the play.

This brings us to an interesting question if hard work in gambling really pays off? If one puts in a lot of efforts to understand a game involved in gambling, does it mean that all his time has gone down the drain? Certainly no. If gambling were simply a blind guess or a wild shot then even years of studying it makes it useless because one is simply guessing the outcome blindly. But such is not the scenario with gambling in reality. What makes hard work count in gambling?

This further sets off the question of addiction in gambling. Work can also be an addiction for many. But here the addiction could be for perfecting the game and the art of playing. This kind of addiction is to struggle every time for success by proper calculation and review. However, addiction can also be due to pure greed of winning with no clear knowledge of the game. If hard work counts, then we may actually find a solution for a healthier addiction towards success in gambling.
someone who continues to focus on gambling they can certainly find a solution to play with the right calculations and reviews, this causes his addiction to gamble only to perfect the game and look for gaps in playing style with mature strategies. another case with people who are addicted to gambling only hopes for victory, it can have a bad impact because they continue to play greedy without calculation.
The truth is that someone who decided to invest a lot of time into gambling and thought with hard work they can get something out of it, will only find out in the end how much they have so failed to realize that gambling was not meant for profit making, it is just a game in which you can get lucky and most of the time, that luck is never something that would play out the way you want it but what is important is to always keep at the back of your mind, that it is all gambling, and that is all it would ever be, and in that case, the essence of controlling yourself as much as you can is something you should not joke with.
3146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey from gambling to trading on: November 10, 2018, 09:39:57 AM
either you done it professionally with studies, research, TA. else what you doing is gambling.
Well, that is one thing a lot of people will always need to realize when it comes to the idea of gambling. Gambling for one thing I am sure of is that there are no way you can gamble at all without at least getting emotional and losing big time in the end. Now, a lot of people approaches trading in this manner which is one of the reasons why they find it very difficult to even know what to do at certain point in time when it comes to making good trades, and they eventually end up flopping pretty badly.

Trading is a whole lot more than just gambling your positions, you need to have a strategy and you need to know how to do things right, which in this case, if you manage to hit the trading platform without a strategy, you will be doomed before you even start.

This means that your enter to the world of cryptocurrency from gambling would have been quite interesting and this is a benefit of the gambling that it let you earn provided you have the skills to make things happen regardless of the market situation.

Now when you have the money, invest wise and make sure you do not look back for life and market seldom gives second chance to those who are irresponsible towards the business.

3147  Economy / Economics / Re: Which industries don't need blockchain? on: November 10, 2018, 07:28:57 AM
Making use of the blockchain technology is a thing of choice and we are not the ones to tell whether it’s going to benefit any company or not, it’s all left for them to carry out a meeting and know if the Blockchain tech that is being said will in any way benefit their company or organization. I have seen a lot big companies that backs projects that has to do with Blockchain but don’t make use of it.

Maybe journalism? At least not the entertainment news media outlets. It might be beneficial to hard-hitting news, but I'm not sure if it will be a good thing for the newspaper and the people.

I think it would especially be great for the media and the people. Decentralized news websites would eliminate fake news. It would be resistant to censorship and verifiable, while ensuring accuracy and transparency by using incentives.

Lol, you’re confused. The comment you replied is saying that the Blockchain technology won’t benefit/work for journalism and here you are saying that it will be a good thing to be used in the media please how exactly are we going to make use of the blockchain technology in journalism? It’s not a must that companies will make use of blockchain and its not even necessary.
3148  Economy / Economics / Re: LIFE GOES ON. on: November 10, 2018, 06:44:09 AM
Looking at the present state of the market, it could be very disheartening. But one thing is certain is that blockchain technology has come to change our society. And Crytocurrency which runs on the blockchain will continue to wax stronger and stronger, stay above fear. Life surely goes on with or without the enemies of crypto.
How exactly is the Blockchain going to change things apart from the way we make transaction? And that has already happened. Our way of making transactions these days has changed and people are ale to send and receive without much stress and it takes just a little time.

The only Problem is the volatility and that’s what a lot of people hates. But what they need to understand is that without that volatility there will be no way to make money in cryptocurrency.
3149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin $15000 on: November 02, 2018, 09:17:52 AM
Over speculation is harmful to your investment. So, hold your Bitcoin tight with a very secure wallet like XAPO and be in a long period. Then you will see your value.
I think this is an over-speculation only in the short run. In the long run, it can be possible to have a Bitcoin worth more than $15000 as well. However we need to focus on the present to make good out of it. Make your present strategy advanced by investing in coins with low value, and hold it in addition to your existing coins. You would have great opportunities to do much better once the market is green and Bitcoin good enough than $15000.

3150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy new coins? on: November 02, 2018, 08:03:08 AM
I can buy new coins, yes and when I buy new coin I check project of new coins (team, what is project benefit ....) if new coin seems positive for to investment I buy it and I sell it when the coin will be 2x. This is my way for investment.
I have already invested in couple of coins that I though have been doing very well in the market lately. So you invest when you have the incentives to do so. And since this year the market had been down and you could earn coins which are down in terms of market value, it is a good time to do so.

At some point in future, when there will be boom in the crypto market, you would be more than well off with this little investment grown so big. So without any further due, go invest.
3151  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and retirement - how do you see your future? on: November 02, 2018, 07:22:44 AM
If we are investing our money in cryptocurrency with purpose for our pension, better choosing a safe cryptocurrency with biggest liquidity and biggest transaction volumen. Its describe that the coin is having good investor and profitable in the future
maybe bitcoin could be the best choice for this purpose.bitcoin price year by year shows good growth.and if its implemented and mass adopted its price could rise again extremely.
if we talking about pension purpose, maybe we talking about long term investment.at least our portofolio could give us huge profits.and maybe bitcoin suitable for this type.

Retired people have more free time. From this point of view, they can become traders and even make much money on this business. However, I do not think, too many people will show their desire to deal with the cryptos.
Even if you keep on investing the little you have in the cryptocurrency along the period of your regular job, a day will come when you would have a big portfolio with its value replicated several times when you retire. So in addition of your retirement pension, you would be lucky enough to cash and use the value that has been added as profit to your portfolio along the course of investment. This is any how a good plan not only for those who is near to retirement.
3152  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone only invest in the crypto market? on: October 31, 2018, 08:42:14 AM
Of course, you do not need to store all your money in cryptocurrency. It is very dangerous, and if something happens, you can lose all that you have. I think that all your currency must be divided for several parts for stocks, real estate, crypto and etc.
The first and the foremost thing is the motivation of the money. People are motivated by the money and they want to make easy money and since Bitcoin has been very instrumental in making people rich, thus an attraction for everyone out there and this is why people invest in crypto in general and in Bitcoin in particular. Besides, It is no doubt a store of value which grow with the passage of time and in the same time is very liquid to cash out or withdraw in time of need.
3153  Economy / Economics / Re: [CHART] Bitcoin Inflation vs. Time on: October 31, 2018, 08:09:13 AM
Bitcoins price moves up and down, but isn't the only coin that have movements. Euro / Dolar / Yen There isn't a secure coin that have a stable change. Gold also have the same problems.
Well firstly inflation is the general and consistent rise in the price level of anything you are analyzing. If you are measuring Bitcoin in dollar, or dollar in Euros and if there is a change of values, you might possibly get miss-leaded for here you are not sure if the change in the values is the result of growth in dollar or fall in Bitcoin or growth in euros or fall in dollar so this is quite a complicated and conceptual topic which needs logical discussion and thorough research.
3154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Paying for education on: October 31, 2018, 07:36:32 AM
No need to pay in trading education specially herein crypto, all information how to become great trader can get herein forum and searching in google.
Though I am not a big school lover, I still feel it is very important to know about different concepts in the market and that can happen only if you spend some time in the university. Economics in first place guides a lot about the market structure and about the principles that should be followed to make a successful investment. So yes you can pay in the form of BTC for your education if accepted in your account office.
3155  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: October 31, 2018, 05:50:45 AM
I probably say that bitcoin's price are not be going to stable because I guess that people are still investing on it because of profit so the price will going up and down every single day so there are no such details when bitcoin will stabilize and stable its value.
I have joined this forum and start learning about bitcoin a year ago. I remember it was some of my earliest threads that I have read here about decline of bitcoin and to be in hot water soon. But see here, there is nothing hard till now. People are still investing and trading with bitcoin and making good earning from it. It would not be demolished rather it will be the supreme currency in coming times.
3156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to trade altcoins? on: October 30, 2018, 09:53:16 AM
Hello everyone. So recently I've been trading bitcoin for alt coins as I find that alt coins are far more volatile due to lower volume compared to Bitcoin and thus more profitable when it comes to day trading. Any great alt coins I should be looking into for trading? I'd like to hear your opinion on this method of trading!
Altcoins are less volatile, but they all still depend on the price move of Bitcoin. Whenever Bitcoin is going up you will also see altcoins going and when Bitcoin starts to fall, same happens to altcoins. Take for example – ETH and BTC, when the price of BTC got pumped, ETH also went up from a very low price of $200+ to above $1k, but when Bitcoin fell to $6000+ it also fell and went down to $100+. That’s it.

But there are still good altcoins in the market, and I think Bitcoin is meant for those with so much money to invest and take the risk,. If you invest a little amount of money, it can disappear within few minutes.
3157  Economy / Economics / Re: Government should implement blockchain technology to prevent corruption. on: October 30, 2018, 09:21:29 AM
A very good idea in my opinion, but before that the awareness of individuals sitting in the government of a country is very much needed. How can the government be aware of the dangers of corruption, maybe that needs to be fixed first.
I do not think it is going to be effective. There is always a back door to misuse the power you acquire upon getting the chair. I believe that there should be tough penalties for the miss use of the power and we have examples of countries like China and many other where there is no concept of making money in power.

You just cannot misuse the funds you get for the people. This is the reason of their success. Living within the system and making use of instruments that are favorable for the system is the best way to coupe it.
3158  Economy / Economics / Re: The US dollar is gaining strength on: October 30, 2018, 07:49:43 AM
One of the factors that made the US dollar strengthened came from a number of geopolitics that occurred, one of which was uncertainty caused by the trade war between the US and China. This is why not only the sub-US is rising, the dollar is strong, but also the global risk premium is increasing. Strengthening the US dollar had a good effect on cryptocurrency prices (cryptocurrency prices rose).
That is nice explanation however China has also reduced the use of dollar for international trade and for the transaction it would make before. Right now, there is a slow shift from using dollars ad a medium of exchange in international trade to using Chinese Yuan which is going to hurt dollar in future because it will reduce the demand for dollar and China is one of the top country using US dollars in bulk.

Besides, the dollar growth is temporary and momentary which is also called artificial growth. This just happened after imposing tariffs on the Chinese exports to US which cannot stay for long.
3159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the end of crypto? on: October 30, 2018, 07:19:47 AM
Hello
I had more than 700k of crypto and now it's turned into 24k dollard that I do not hesitate to sell everything and go to something else and on one side I think I must hodl! Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

It seems to me that selling now is the wrong decision! I remember last year, I sold coins, and a few months later they grew in price X3-6. I realized in a hurry that's wrong.
If you had thought about it a bit earlier, you would not have lost so big. Besides, it is always advised to keep the investment at the initial level and keep on cashing the additional profit that you earn in the business. Now if your worth has fallen high, you should not exit the market.

Keep on holding for we can have a surge in values anytime and who else knows the magic of cryptocurrency more than you do. Better stay optimistic and quest for more. Business is all about wining.
3160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: October 30, 2018, 06:49:19 AM
Buying ethereum with all money is certainly a risky thing, as we know that current market conditions are dropping so placing money on ethereum will make us dizzy and stressed if the price drops.
Simply no because if you put in all your money, you might make the biggest mistake of your life.  Lets assume you had invested all your money in ETH only back in January of the year when the market was good. Just ETH and nothing else. You would have lost a very big value so far by looking at the rate at which ETH has fallen in the market. So the consequences can be very fatal if you make such a decision leaving behind the important concept of diversification of assets.
