3141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Highest profitable altcoin for you in 2021 on: January 12, 2022, 11:16:27 PM
this is the year, where we've seen the biggest bull run and biggest ath record of crypto market. most of old and altcoin has done record these price by crossing highest barrier. Even meme coins are also get focused for whole year by these tremendous growth. But this year will be end after few days. So what was the best altcoin for you which gave you highest profit? I made highest profit from "dego finance"
It was just like you are looking for a big fish and make you rich instantly? But what I can say to you that is you only find the small one. Why? It is simply because it never works that easy unless if you are the whale and trying to manipulate the project but as if you are just a normal investor, I've doubted that we can have those projects.

I suggest not thinking about it, you'd rather start looking for the projects that certainly it gives us a profit even it was just a small amount, at least we get any than looking for the big/highest one if our chances are very small.
3142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoin will go 10x this year? on: January 12, 2022, 10:48:29 PM
it's already 2022, and I would like to know your opinion, which alicoin will grow by x10 or even more this year?

Personally, I bet on ecosystem projects that have a lot of fundamentals and are underestimated. I think that projects like NEAR and Cosmos will be able to do x10 in 2022, how about you?
Nobody could predict which coin will go 10x. However, I am hoping that 2022 could be a big bull year. I know that 2021 was like that as well so people are expecting a lot less from 2022, however we have reached a very high level in 2021 and also dropped under that level as well, so we got into 2022 with just 10k more than what we did into 2021 even though we had two 2x increases inside it.

So, what I am guessing is that since we got into 2022 with a lower than peak numbers, we are going to have a bull year for sure. It means that there is a situation where we could end up with a much better situation with bitcoin at first, then we are going to end up with an altseason. That's what I am hoping for.
And to make a note that we are not sure if the market will turn bullish which gives a way for any coin to make a rally. Because if only we know, x10 is certainly achievable, even x100 as to believe that hypes can make it possible but as long as the market is unpredictable, that guarantee nothing and we only just hope. And the only thing we gonna do is to choose projects that are really promising, with a working product and it was been listed in the know exchanger, that at least it gives us a huge chance.
3143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 12, 2022, 02:19:03 PM
Our local teams can’t afford to pay that much especially if you’re not the ace player so it's not good to compare salaries since they all have different basketball skills, lucky to those who can play abroad that means to me, other country sees their true potential. PBA is way better I believe, many still want to stay though.

And even comparing salaries, if that player is not that well-performing, no matter how they dislike their salary in PBA, they won't even get an offer to play abroad. Only a few are getting the opportunity and it's not a usual job where a player will just have to apply and hope to be accepted.

These players who are not well-performing in the PBA are still lucky since they will always have a contract no matter what unless on their retiring age. Still lucky compare to other players that didn't have a chance to be drafted in PBA.

Yes you are right there mate comparing the salaries between here in the Philippines and another country is too far, another country offer such a big amount if converted it to Philippine money. And yes the players who have an opportunity to play abroad is selected and few of our PBA players is lucky enough to be selected and they deserve that kind of opportunity cause those players have done a good thing here in PBA and not just good they are Star player also.

Even on the employment rate there's a huge difference.

As for this article, the salary or the minimum per hour is equivalent to 8.4 USD or 420 PHP using 1 USD =50 PHP conversion rate.
https://asia.nikkei.com/Politics/Japan-panel-seeks-record-28-yen-rise-in-minimum-wage-to-930-yen

In the Philippines the minimum wage was not even Php 1k per day in 8 hours or work.  Grin
3144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 12, 2022, 02:03:32 PM
if we will have a poll on this match, i believe spence jr will still be the favourite here by bettors.

Favorite to win the match or the usual favorite as interest?

I don't see most bettors will put a stake on Spence Jr. if the odds will be around @1.5 unless willing to take the risks since to them, it's a sure win for Spence. Even I'm rooting for Spence to win, I want to see the odds first and if Ugas has big odds, I might consider placing a bet for him. Who knows.

Can't believe his eye injury will be fully healed in March or April unless it's not a big issue before but just take it as a reason for skipping Pacquiao's fight.

If it will not drop below 1.50, I think it's a good odds for Spence knowing that he is a great fighter who can take down Ugas for sure. As of now, we have no idea of the odds but one thing is sure is that Spence will be listed as the favorites to win the fight, so let's just hope an attractive odds for Spence so we will bet right away.

Of course, that 1.50 is still very attractive for bettors who are trusting the undefeated boxer to win here. Ugas is not really at the level of Spence and Crawford, and since these two are the top champions in their division, there's no way Ugas who beat the old Pacman will beat either of the two.

The odds will not likely have a significant move.

As for the odds below, Spence is only 1.29 if converted into decimal, of course, that is not attractive, therefore better go for the KO win as I'm sure it has higher odds.

3145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 12, 2022, 01:19:25 PM
We should all talk about Memphis and Ja Morant as he out scored Curry in the last game and Ja is playing on the same high lever for some games know and I hope he won't get injured as the kid is a totally tornado under the rim. If he continues on the same trend , I see a very big future for Morant even if a lot of people around the world already saw what he is capable to do.

Also , Bulls needs to be mentioned as well as I don't dare to best against them....yet.

Even if they are facing the Nets? hehe..

Good luck mate, I guess the game tomorrow is a great game to watch.

hopefully, we will see Irving again, but with the latest news, looks like not only Irving might not be able to play but Harden as well.

3146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to enter the market and buy altcoins? on: January 11, 2022, 11:27:00 PM
Perhaps, that was what people are doing now. Buying the dip is somewhat in the plan and we take this opportunity before the recovery starts. That is why we have to spare money as a reserved as for the moment that dip is about to strike, we can slip on it and take advantage.

60% for Bitcoin while 40% for altcoins. I think that was the best thing to do and not just to focus on Bitcoin or altcoins. it was best to spread our investment so we can make recovery once the investment will fail. "Don't put all the Eggs in One Basket".
3147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying right now? on: January 11, 2022, 10:52:25 PM
Hi guys, Bitcoin has dropped to 41,000 again, and all altcoins are with it. So this is a good opportunity to buy some tokens for a good price right? Share what you bought and why?

Since the price of Bitcoin is in the dump, I instead of buying more than looking for altcoins. I guess, that was the best deal as Bitcoin will have its recovery first over altcoins which means that I can make a profit faster than waiting for the altcoins to follow. It is a way how to make an investment and certainly have to analyze it. As when it comes to investment, time really matters and the credibility of the project. As these altcoins are dependant on Bitcoin, I think we prioritize putting funds to Bitcoin.
3148  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 10, 2022, 11:33:19 PM
The year 2021 has come and gone and has left behind some great lessons, most especially as it relates to our economic life and how we balance the sheet at the end of every calendar year. I have drafted my economic plans for the year 2022 and may be interested in learning some lessons from them. The number one thing is to know how much capital I have and how long can I invest in it and what are the percentage profits turnovers, after that, I will look for the right investment to invest in and how much I should invest in it. Then I will try to diversify my investment. I will take less risk this year but make my finances more stable with some skills development.
Plan can be somewhat useless if you are not consistent with it. In fact, many people are doing this and many of them just fail and why? That is because they have lack of patience and they are not committed to doing it. It is mostly a test of ourselves of how strong we are in achieving our goal, once we fail and give up, that it never makes sense at all.

What I could suggest to OP and to everyone, we have to create a plan that we think we can make it and preferably achievable, otherwise, it remains a (useless) plan. Anyways, I believe that you can do it OP, and good luck.
3149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Comparison of Bitcoin price fluctuations with other coins. on: January 09, 2022, 11:23:54 PM
No doubt other altcoins prices are linked with Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the first altcoin and major currency in the cyrpto market so most of the other altcoin up and downs with the price of Bitcoin but not all altcoins related to Bitcoin price some coins have not been affected by Bitcoin price up to and down.
^ Wait, what?
I think you need to understand first about BTC and how it will work, this is not an altcoin in the first, BTC is the pioneer cryptocurrency that until now has been existed because the real meaning of decentralizing was here. The altcoins price was relying upon BTC because the major trading activities are using BTC, when you buy and sell altcoins, you need to use BTC upon withdrawing the fund and converting into fiat. So it is possible that the BTC fluctuation will be the same as the altcoin because altcoin will follow it, not unless if you have a stable coin which is will not follow the BTC price.
Not all the time that I use BTC to withdraw my funds out from the exchanger due to huge fees and it has never been found to be an issue how it influences the market. As naturally, once Bitcoin is declining, altcoins are into following the same path, we can see this even before and had nothing it changes until now. That makes no reason why we have to be surprised by all these things as this was the nature of the market and no matter what we do, in fact, whales can't take control of this.
3150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will cryptos go into Bull season? on: January 09, 2022, 10:57:27 PM

Cryptos have been counting the ups and downs in a balanced way lately. A coin that increased by 15% today, 2 days later we see that it has decreased by 25%. To what do you attribute this fluctuation?
When will cryptos enter Taurus month? Does anyone have any enlightening information on this subject?
We don't need to be surprised by these huge changes as to whether we like it or not, dumps are inevitable and it strikes in no specific time and like now. The volatility of the market made it so well, it is very interesting to see but is also a cause why people got panic and sell the crypto at loss.

Quote
When can ETH catch up with BTC?
There is nothing like that, When? That even before, ETH has no chance to reach Bitcoin.
Bitcoin will continue to dominate the market and in fact, for so many forks that have been done, nothing had it closely compared to this coin, nothing and that obviously impossible.
3151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 07, 2022, 09:51:36 PM
In long term yes. Actually my first goal was to have 1 BTC through trading but I think it's a little bit hard for me so right now I'm into trading and managed to have around 0.01 BTC but compare it to the price now I think it's not enough but Bitcoin is for long term and for sure it will increase in the future so having 0.01 BTC saving was a good idea and probably make you rich in the future.

It depends on how we use the 0.01 BTC we have, if we hold it in the long term of course it can make us rich. We can also use 0.01 BTC as capital
for trading, so we will become rich if we can accumulate the profits we make from trading. Then regarding your first goal of having 1 BTC,
you should continue to fight for it until you actually get 1 BTC. As long as you try hard and don't give up, then I believe you can have 1 BTC.
Everyone has the opportunity to be rich, therefore never stop trying, as long as we continue to struggle to make more money then we will get
closer to being rich.
I'd rather have to make use of it to start a business than just hold them. If that went successful, I could really make myself rich but if we just keep it, I don't think so. Because 0.01 BTC is pretty small, maybe if the value of Bitcoin is $1million and having a chuck of 0.01BTC is really hue especially when converted to our fiat money. But what I've said, it never increases if we don't anything. So, there should have an incoming income from 0.01BTC or else, that will only be used for leisure and lose all of them.
3152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future is looking bright for BITCOIN on: January 07, 2022, 08:54:43 PM
It is somehow a good future of Bitcoin but not as brights as we can see as the moon. We can still see the doom of Bitcoin's life that could test everyone's trust and how they value Bitcoin during that time. We have to be aware that not always we are having this bullish trend, it can also be on the dark side which majority are in a panic. But even having this situation, we need not lose our hopes, instead, we have to make ourselves ready and help our faith still strong.

Well, at least for now the people are enjoying the market so well. It can be a good sign that they were not worried about what it happen someday.
3153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which one has a Ethereum-like potential? on: January 07, 2022, 08:22:21 PM
Hello,
Which one of the following coins has a Ethereum-like potential:

1- Terra
2- Avalanche
3- Polygon
4- Moonriver

Thank you.
These coins are worth investing, honestly but, I can never tell which one will be able to compare ETH or even more than that. It is simply because these coins had something more to prove about their potentiality otherwise.

Polygon and Ava are probably what I preferred. I'm considering the fees in which these coins could even provide the most favorable one(small). I'm not really thinking that they can be on the moon someday but what I want to see is that they can be more sustainable than just be hyped and will be gone so quickly.
3154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you still have a bounty trust that uses an eth address..? on: January 07, 2022, 07:58:10 PM
do you all still believe in the existence of a bounty project using an eth address even though now the cost of gas with eth is very expensive..?
and what examples of bounty projects have you been involved in on an eth basis and successful in the market?
I myself, with the presence of Vulcan Forged, can prove that there are still successful bounty projects after the distribution of prizes..
Yes, of course, why not?
I know the ETH transactions cost a lot this time but as long as the project is legit and already back-up by an exchanger, we can certainly give trust to it and it was not a problem if the bounty amount is also high that was enough to cover fees when we would like to withdraw them. Like to receive $200 worth of tokens and just going to spend below $20, I wouldn't hesitate to join them either.
3155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin mistake In 2020-2021 on: January 07, 2022, 02:54:43 PM
I think it's a mistake but it's not a big mistake, so there's no need to worry about it, it's a natural thing to happen, after all, you've already benefited 3 times, I think everyone involved in the crypto world has experienced mistakes, it's the same with me personally. I've experienced something similar at different times and I don't regret it.
Don't remember too much, but make a lesson to improve it. True to what you say, no trader is perfect without losses. But traders learn to avoid it and return those losses. That's not to be regretted, you just do what you can do to the maximum. Take advantage of the moments and discipline the rules you have made. Of course, all require learning and not a little time. But I'm sure one day you'll enjoy the results.
It needs more time and effort to learn out from trading and these bad experiences that we have could always be a tool in order for us to improve and to value trading. This could prove that there is no easy money in trading, it is all been a struggle when doing it. But why do we never stop despite those losses and hard times? It was because we want it and we feel that trading is for us.

I'd fine no regrets when having bad times in trading. Yes, because even how much we care about not making any mistakes, but somehow we don't have any escape. We'd rather face this sad reality in the life of trading.
3156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 07, 2022, 02:16:31 PM
I can't believe the Bucks are going to let DeMarcus Cousins walk away a free agent.  He was playing great for them.  Much better than I expected.  I guess he was just there to fill a roster spot during the covid restrictions.  I'm curious who is going to pick him up now.  Twitter is screaming at the Lakers to waive DeAndre Jordan and sign Cousins, but I don't see why they can't keep both...  Likely Cousins will find a new home somewhere else.  I think Chicago might be a decent home for him if he's still chasing a ring.  Another stint with Golden State might not be a bad idea either.  I'm sure someone will grab him quickly.
Checked the roster of the Chicago Bulls and yes they might want to grab Cousins as fast as they can. They need a center/forward to fill the shoes of Vucevic if they will be up against big men games. Vucevic is averaging 33 minutes per game and as a center that might be an exhausting number.
If they will let Cousins in, they could give him a breather that could strengthen the rotation even on second stringers.
They accept 10 days contract now, if its possible test him for that amount of time and if he performed good then give him a better contract. I don't know if Cousins will accept that kind of offer though.
Cousins is not a superstar anymore, his days of being an all-star player are over, so if he wants to stay in the NBA, he has no option but to take short term contract and prove to the team that he is still worthy to get a longer contract. He can be a great help for the Bulls but his minutes will remain limited, and I hope he will not be easily injured.

Yeah I’m with you hear when it comes to Cousins. I have always been a huge fan of his, but it’s been some time since he was the (in my opinion) most dominating center in the league. As a bulls fan I wouldn’t mind seeing him come back on a short term deal if he can help provide some minutes off the bench to sub in for Cousins.

Cousins has played a lot of teams already, I'm not sure which team he will retire but on his condition now, I believe he can still be helpful to any team he is playing with as long as he is getting minutes. A player whose career is not at its peak will do everything to impress the management, so if he gets sign, it's another opportunity for him to impress the bulls management and let's see if he will be given a longer contract afterwards.
3157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 07, 2022, 01:39:01 PM
Breaking news:

Japeth Aguilar signed a three-year extension deal with the Gin Kings ending the speculation that he would play in Japan B-league.

In the social media post of Snow Badua, he stated that Japan B-league teams has increased the offer to 30K USD per month for the Gin King's forward to play for them.

With this signing, only Robert Bolick is the one left that speculated to play in Japan which i don't think will happen.

This is a good news for the PBA as the teams has made their move to retain their talent in the Philippines.

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/ginebra-signs-japeth-aguilar-to-fresh-three-year-contract-a2244-20220106?ref=home_hybrid_2

Yes, that's a good move from the team owner, securing their talents and not to let them sign another contract with another league.

I'm sure it's a tough decision for the players and their agent if the amount that is being said was true, 1.5M PHP per month is not a small

amount. If I remember it correctly, the max of any stars only ranges from 300PHP-500PHP. Not sure, though, but it won't go to 1M PHP

including all those perks and behind the desk deals.. Roll Eyes

Japeth is not getting any younger so he is just making the right move here, I understand if Bollick will play in B League, he is still young and I'm sure once he comes back to the Philippines the PBA will always be willing to welcome him. Good for Ginebra that Japeth and C. Stand remains loyal.
3158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 07, 2022, 01:13:15 PM
Only a couple games tonight but I like 2 home teams.

Gimme the KNICKS getting 2 points at home.  Celts are decent but lost 5 in a row on the road and the second game of a back to back.

Then...give me the Pelicans -1 against the Warriors.  Won't say that too often but GS has a ton of guys benched.  Pretty much Wiggins and Poole versus the Pelicans.  Gimme the home team here and an L for the Warriors.

Good luck everyone tonight all!

Good if you got the Pels at -1 mate, because GSW doesn't have answer to Brandon Ingram.

And when we thought that Jordan Poole will step up in the absence of Steph Curry, he just had a measly game. Wiggins lead the way with 21 points but it wasn't enough.

They've tied the game at the end of 3rd or start of the 4th if I'm not mistaken but the Pels scored 6 successive points and that cushion was enough.

wheelz1200 got his 2 bets right, both games are close but what matters is the bet won. Congrats @wheelz1200, that's a perfect prediction, looking forward for some tips on the upcoming games tomorrow. If you have a bulls vs Wizs analysis, I'ld love to read and follow.
3159  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC: is it really bearish? on: January 07, 2022, 12:28:02 PM
Hard to say right now, there are many voices that claim we are already in the next bear market. I don't buy into this new downward trend. It seems more like a correction in the general upwards trend of Bitcoins. Like in your picture I think that prices are still high and bitcoins should be rising again in the near future. There is however a risk that too many people buy into the bearish news and a real panic selling can occur. A big crash is always a downward spiral that can force people even if they still believe in the project.
No matter how the market looks like, even it was bearish, people definitely think and say it was just a price correction. Well, it is not wrong but we sometimes think also that not all the time were in bullish, and can be these declines is might be a sign for another bearish season.
I can't make people think the same as me and I was sure that many will disagree with me but there is one thing I would like to say, we better prepare for the incoming. We can never be confident that all the time we are in bullish, not even just to ask for it always...as the market remains volatile, we, therefore, to see those things upwards and downward motions.
3160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't ever quit your job to trade crypto. on: January 07, 2022, 11:48:11 AM
If you are already financially stable you can quit your job but if not it's not ideal to quite a passive income to a cryptocurrency market which is volatile not all the time it gives a good profit and assets. Many people doing this thing because they think they can now sustain their life which is possible happen people stop working and going to school just to focus on earning in cryptocurrency. If you are capable enough why not all we need is knowledge as an investment here once you get successful every investment you can now handle your time on your own and make it lighter to live.
I agree with this, before you leave your job make sure that you have enough money to sustain your daily needs cause as you said above you can not predict the outcome of the price cause not all the time the price goes up. There's a time that the price keeping goes down within a week or a months. But if you have knowledge enough about investment and then you enough money an then you can quit your job and focus on Trade.

Let say to have money that would be able to sustain us for a month or a year we can therefore think about quitting our job. But I don't agree it was a very satisfying move, yet it was a suicide. Maybe if you have another source of income and you think it could provide you the best than having a job, I was definitely to agree about leaving your job.

Maybe choosing to trade is good for those who are good at this as well but if you are just a beginner, I don't think so.
What I could suggest is that we spend more time thinking of leaving our job will change everything especially our living conditions. If we think it helps to become better as to focus on something more profiting, then we have to go.
