3141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: June 06, 2020, 10:57:54 AM
The biggest money making slot in crypto space is to be

1. a developer
2. build crypto wallets for new projects
3. find bugs in the system of many new projects

yes some paid for security breaching and all that stuff, rendering professional services is the best way to make money in crypto space now

Of course, but only few have this kind of technical skills, so when the demand is high, they will surely make good money, well, I wish I have that kind of skills but I am just an ordinary crypto enthusiast with simple skills which is to just analyze the market, invest and trade.

Majority of us here will work being a bounty hunter as that kind of job is easy, it does not require a lot of skills to work, but unfortunately the bounty campaigns now are not giving good reward unlike in the past, but I'm still hoping the glory days of bitcoin will come back.
3142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future Prediction Because of Hacking/Scamming on: June 06, 2020, 09:13:33 AM
Things have change nowadays, we already have a lot of exchange with great volume, so even if one of the biggest exchange will be hack, the market will still continue, of course it's normal that we will see a dump as those FUDDERS will eventually do their thing to cause more panic, but things are just temporary.

Gone are the days that we only have Mt. Gox as the biggest exchange, now we have a lot to cater traders once one exchange is gone.

We can see the exchanges ranking here - https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/... and we can see how their volume are being diversified.
As you can see in the list, Binance has the biggest volume if this exchange will be hack and will not recover anymore, expect that other exchanges are ready to facilitate the traders.
3143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto regulations still have a chance? on: June 05, 2020, 01:56:27 PM
I also believe that the solution for massive adoption is the crypto regulation, when the market is regulated, people will feel the security, that is why the decentralized system cannot beat the centralized system since we have the government that will implement and monitor the law.
Decentralized system gives full freedom but it's very risky, and not a lot of people are high risk takers.

Maybe there will be manipulation but more from the government, so we need to vote wisely on who will govern us.

Crypto was build as a decentralized system but it can't prosper without the help and support of the government, this is a revolutionary technology that requires the support of the government to succeed.
3144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 05, 2020, 01:07:17 PM
Manny Pacquiao is one of the kind, he is already 41 years but he can still beat fighters at their prime.
I think this is a good fight, GGV is 38 years old but still an explosive fighter, I think if this fight happen, it's gonna be an explosive fight, both fighters will be going forward to knock each other.

Manny is going to make history again if he win in this fight, he will be the only 9 division champion in boxing,

I'm wonder who is the favorite between the two based on the betting odds.
3145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Continue to Hold your bitcoin on: June 05, 2020, 12:20:38 PM
Bitcoin is the best coin in the market right now and it's the best investment in the future, as for me, I will continue to hold because I believe that massive adoption will happen in the long run.

The supply of bitcoin has recently hit a new low for the year, this means there are fewer and fewer people selling bitcoin in the market.

This is how I set my mindset for my investment, the supply is fix but it could decrease, either people losing their access and big investors will hold their coins and wait until the demand will increase, and since bitcoin's popularity now is growing, that adoption that we are all hoping will certainly happen.

The longer we hold the better, bitcoin might be a risky asset and thus we call ourselves big risk takers here but we are after of a big reward that hopefully we will be able to achieve in the future.
3146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What casinos have forums? on: June 04, 2020, 12:11:20 PM
If you have more time you can check all the casinos that has an ANN thread in the forum, you can see it in this section.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0

Then, read their ANN thread, if you like the casino you can search their forum, if they added a link in the ANN thread, it would be easier to find, but you can always use google if it's not listed, also I think not all gambling sites here has a forum as some are still starting, and their ANN thread would be enough to entertain queries from gamblers.
3147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 04, 2020, 11:37:49 AM
That's good, at least those teams who are below in the top 8 ranking still have a chance qualify in the playoffs.
Now that they have finalized the format of the game, maybe next time we will know when the NBA will resume, right?

I believe we are already close in witnessing the comeback of the NBA based on the updates they have recently published.

We can also check the season update in the link below :

3148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: June 04, 2020, 11:05:55 AM
Is this fight still going ahead? Just six weeks away, don't see them turning down the $ from a live gate.

There is no confirm date yet, but according to  this article, the fight is expected to happen in July 18, 2020.

from the article.

Quote
The date and location of the bout has not officially been confirmed yet and was expected to be held at the MGM Grand again on July 18.

We like to speculate here since we really like to see this fight soon, but it's possible for them to schedule the fight soon but without audience, also there are rumors that the fight will be held outside the US where Corona Virus is already controlled.

3150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of mainnet in a project. on: June 02, 2020, 11:45:19 PM
Mainnet means a project is ready to use their own network or blockchain, majority of the projects in raise through ICO and it's easy for them to create tokens for sale under the ETH network, but as the development matured they create their own network.

some of the successful projects that runs in their own network now are Binance and TRON, I have invested in these projects prior the mainet and I can say I'm one of the lucky investors who enjoyed a decent profit.

The impact usually is the price will increase due to the hype, but provided it's a popular project.
3151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: June 02, 2020, 03:24:00 PM
I go for online casinos, I can tell the difference based on my experience, staying longer in a land based casino would result to bigger loses as I am not really into skilled based games when going in a casino, I just like to have fun, betting on games with house edge, so it's really expected that I will eventually lose, but what matters to me is just the entertainment.

on the other hand, gambling in online casino, I think this is my favorite, I can do it even in a daily basis as long as I have the budget, the difference is online casinos give me some convenience since I can gamble anywhere just using my phone and I still get entertain.

I am into sports betting by the way, so its easy to gamble using my phone.
3152  Economy / Economics / Re: More Evidence of Coronavirus as Financial Reset on: June 02, 2020, 02:56:03 PM
I believe that the virus was not created by chance. Indeed, the whole world claims that the virus was developed in China, but countries are holding to the last so as not to flood China with litigation. Time will pass and countries will begin to investigate the appearance of this virus and why it was created.

They will have more time investigating, but right now, the world is focus on finding the cure, and although there has been new releases that the vaccine was already found but until it's published and ready for distribution that is the time I will believe that the cure was really invented.

The thing is, the current situation can be used by corrupt politicians to run their personal interest, and personally I have a feeling that all these are carefully plan to destroy one country while making the other improve their economy. It's a Financial Reset in the sense that small countries will struggle as they have poor facilities or poor back up for situation like this and that would significantly drove their economy down.
3153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future whale wannabe on: June 02, 2020, 01:55:46 PM
I feel you mate so I hope you will be successful and your dream will come into reality.

Let me share with you my experience. Last 2018, I was so confident investing with altcoin as I saw how profitable it is during the time the whole market pumped, so when altcoins dump, I thought I got them at dip, but unfortunately they keep dumping until the value was almost worthless.
Looking at the portfolio now, it would only disappoint me, and I think my dream is already dead like my altcoins.
3154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: June 02, 2020, 01:16:44 PM
So Lennox Lewis both beat Tyson and Holyfield? I did not see that one, I wonder where is Lennox right now.
Maybe old champions will start coming back if this even of Tyson vs Holyfield will be successful.

You seem to have missed this:

It happens that Lennox is still there and doing fine

In fact, he beat Holyfield twice, but the first bout was declared a draw. It looked liked a close fight, however Lennox would come out a winner if the judges were more impartial. The fight was in New York, and Lennox is from England while Holyfield is American, so the judges were not. The second fight made Lewis' dominance abundantly clear

My bad, I missed it, so these 3 were not already in their prime but they are still fighting, so what do we expect next, would it be possible for Lennox to fight the winner of Tyson vs Holyfield ? I think that one is going to be an exciting fight too.

These three are the Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, and Deontay Wilder of the current time.

3155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 02, 2020, 11:36:34 AM
That means your a real fan even with the low chances of winning it.  Wink
Credits to Cuban for finding guys like Doncic. There are bad deals which he made but I guess it is for the best.
I will never understand how both Suns and Kings passed on Doncic, as Kings got him only due to those teams stupidity.

First we have Suns, who at the time of draft  was managed by Kokoskov, his Slovenia national team coach, that lead him to Euro title the previous year. It is unveliveable that Suns management didn't want to listen Kokoskov, as I am 100% certain that he wanted to pick him (he even hinted that in one interview, that it wasn't up to him). He wasn't even completely new in Suns, as he was assistant coach there from 2008-2013. All that wasn't enough to persuade Suns team..

Then we have Kings, with Vlade Divac as general manager. Out of all people, Divac as an Euro player should have been able to see how good Doncic is, and pick him up. Rumor is that he has some kind of feud with Doncic father. If i was Kings owner, I would sack him just for that.

Well now, it is full of regrets for them.  Grin
I think Cuban was also a supporter of Euroleague players. He did keep Nowitzki even with his shitty start on Dallas.
Instead of kicking him out, they improved him and it worked like a charm. They won a championship because of that unique shooting style.
I can still remember those free throws he made against Miami which hurt them the most.
45/46 total against the Miami Heat. Wow!
Actually, he is the reason I became a Dallas fan. He is the meaning of hard work and effort.

I think so because it was not only Doncic who is running the team, when they acquired Kristaps Porziņģis by trading their other players, their team has become a playoff team. Now, since the season will be shorten, they have already secure a spot in the playoffs and I'm expecting that they will do better against the biggest teams in the West, if they manage to enter in the NBA finals, that would be a great gift for the fans and I think it's possible as they have a very good teamwork now.
3156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: June 02, 2020, 10:26:32 AM
You must be a boxing enthusiast or you have watch these two fought before?

I'm a little bit of both

But my favorite fight, by and large, is indeed Lennox vs Tyson. I watched it incredible number of times, and would probably watch it as much in the future. It was basically a game-over for Tyson's boxing career. Before this fight Tyson was still considered a top contender. After Lennox it became abundantly clear that Tyson's prime days in boxing were over
I've watched that fight as well, I think that was the only fight I've watch him fight live in TV, the rest of his fights mostly fights where he won, I just watched it in youtube, Lennox vs Tyson happen a long time ago, but I can still remember how Lennox dominated the fight using his length and power.

Ironically, Holyfield tried to pull off the same trick with Lennox but since Lewis' reach is one the biggest in the recorded boxing history, this tactic fell through. Lennox either clinched (his trademark for which he is not liked by many, and rightfully so) or utilized his mighty jab stopping Holyfield's head halfway

So Lennox Lewis both beat Tyson and Holyfield? I did not see that one, I wonder where is Lennox right now.
Maybe old champions will start coming back if this even of Tyson vs Holyfield will be successful.
3157  Other / Meta / Re: Posting reserve? on: June 01, 2020, 01:19:10 PM
I usually do post reserve when I applied for a signature campaign spot, but I'm not aware there are people who post reserve and then later edit their post.
This is for the post gap requirement for sure, or probably other person will take over the post and edit it to make a constructive post as per requirement by a specific signature campaign.

I'm back reading the thread and I've seen some familiar members who are active in joining signature campaign.
3158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: June 01, 2020, 12:56:46 PM
But Tyson is Tyson

While Holyfield is Holyfield. If he takes to his famous headbutts again, Tyson may take to his signature bites as well.
I was still young when that fight happened, it was 1996 when these two fights so I was not able to see this fight but I just heard that Tyson bite Holyfield's ear and that was put into my mind until now, I didn't know that Holyfield was a dirty fighter too since he headbutt Tyson.

I think they already forgive each other, a lot of times has pass by and they are both retired, this fight should be no more biting and headbutting because if they will make this a controversial fight, fans may request for a rematch.  Grin Grin

I remember Tyson explained after that famous match why he had bitten off Holyfield's ear. The latter had been constantly hitting the former in the nose with his head during the second fight, and the judge did nothing when Tyson tried to appeal to him. The point is, it remains to be seen who is a dirtier fighter overall between them two

We will see in the coming fight, I got more excited now with the information you just shared.

You must be a boxing enthusiast or you have watch these two fought before?
3159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: dummy on Trading on: June 01, 2020, 12:25:39 PM
When you are just starting, don't expect that you'll master trading right away.

True, there's a lot of article online and not all of them are useful to you, but you need to keep searching to find information that would help you grow as a trader, continuously studying while learning from actual practice is the best solution to improve yourself as a trader, and I tell you, you need some patience as it will take time before you'll achieved the consistency you're looking for.
3160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it true that now only few bounties scams? on: June 01, 2020, 11:56:50 AM
It depends on the person choosing the bounty, with the big number of ICOs and IEOs in the market, and only few of them really shine when listed in exchange, that tells us that majority of the projects are just bound to fail, so given the it's legit, but if it will fail, it would still not gonna compensate the bounty hunters for their effort.

Identifying the bounty campaign if it's legit or not might not be hard, but to determine if will be successful, that's the hardest thing.

I now decide to join the signature that I use now

Well, good luck, hopefully you'll find success on the project you are promoting now.
