3141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eGaaS: Electronic Government as a Service on: March 23, 2017, 06:48:21 AM
many investor waiting egaas listed on exchanger.....

Many months have pasted already, it is still difficult to run on exchanges, the bounty hunters don't have opportunity to sell for the fiat money.
Marketing strategies and resource in any project is important. They are surely short of competent hands. They cant tell me the coin doesnt worth to be in any exchanges, even with ways exchanges are growing everywhere. They all make demands, and everyone almost now know how it works. Compare with projects that are improving their platforms, If this continue and they get on the exchanges they are heading for a dump, and no-one will look back
3142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not treat BU as Alt? on: March 23, 2017, 06:39:38 AM
bitcoin unlimited is not Bitcoin. It is created to destroy bitcoin and destroy the decentralized system. Most of bitcoin unlimited will obviously controlled by the Chinese and when it fully realeases, you will understand how idiot it can be. The chinese will control most of the mining hash rate. Moreover, we can easily start a 51 attack in bitcoin unlimited due to the reason that there are not many small miners anymore
The gang up against segwit for this long still burders me. IMO it is still the best way to go about the challenges, BU supporters idea looks selfish and have hidden agenda. The idea has not been justified for no course. If it result in centralization by the chinese, u wont ever expect an ETF approval with that
3143  Economy / Economics / Re: How much are you willing to pay in fees for a Bitcoin transaction? on: March 23, 2017, 12:07:04 AM
For me it depends on the amount I will be processing if I will send 1 btc Im willing to pay $1-5 for faster confirmations, $6-10 seems to high for me its not justifiable anymore, if the amount is small like $1-5, 0.01 usd is ok.
Well said, it should depend on the amount of funds you are moving. for someone moving $5, $0.1 is high in my own views, the irony of this whole issue is that, the wasn't the case when the price was around $600, we now have BTC penetrating into some new markets especially south America and Africa. I just think the whole transaction fee issue is more political than the main scaling debate issue

Well I believe that is wrong the way we most of us are thinking when we speak about payment with bitcoin. We have stop think in dollars or euro or anything else like as any fiat money. This is not fair. We have try to think only with transaction size and if we need, really all times do we need the next block confirmation?, fast confirmation time. As you see in my signature yesterday I payed and the campaign manager payed about 5.31sat/byte and first confirmation was in less than 24 hours.
Now we know better that irrespective of the transaction fee, the value of the bitcoin still matters. I struggle to believe a percentage of the transfer amount wont be appealing to miners compared to the fixed cost. Now none of those is being considered if segwit is considered. I just hope all settles soon and business continue as usual
3144  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: March 22, 2017, 11:34:52 PM
I cant just imagine me being the head of a government in my country and allowing some unknown men in the world of technology to be controlling my economy due to the power they have on bitcoin. Now u cant say where it will fall. Where the elephants fight the grasses suffer, to save some peoples money they want ethereum to assume the position of bitcoin. It has always been difficult to make decision where there is no head, this is what will be expected as long as bitcoin exists.

with the nature of the site and its purpose, I expect the site to be self updated/reload at interval, maybe in 2 mins, to update any one watching the page.It should be a development on the site as much it is having a heavy traffic due to bitcoin use.
3146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Janus [JNS] Blockchain secured global business NXT - Ardor on: March 22, 2017, 04:22:32 PM
C-cex volume is very small. I think Janus needs to do more with exchanges. mynxt.info does not look user friendly to me and they dont seem to improving, I didnt find it easy like others
3147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Janus [JNS] Blockchain secured global business NXT - Ardor on: March 22, 2017, 02:55:27 PM
What are the exchanges that trade Janus?
any exchanges that trade it for bitcoin or ethereum asides the Nxt platform?
Is janus having its own wallet now for the dividends?
3148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: March 22, 2017, 02:44:23 PM
Another thing I consider is what is could be done with bitcoin when the value falls. This is the time is that it should be saved, any throwing around is losing the value. Like every form of income, a fraction of bitcoin earn should be saved if it is regular for the future.
3149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BIT.AC :: MULTICURRENCY WALLET :: BUILT-IN INSTANT EXCHANGE :: Affiliate Program on: March 22, 2017, 02:36:12 PM
Safety should be considered in wallet type selection. Android os is still not assuring. If the wallet is working towards safety and system is vulnerable, so will be most of the app software on the OS

I'm curious if you consider Windows as assuring

There were rumors of some viruses existing for Android but in a few cases that I read about myself these were quickly eradicated and rooted out primarily because they could do nothing in the protected environment of the Linux user space (which is what under the hood of Android, just in case). Now compare that to a host of all possible combinations of viruses, trojans, keyloggers and whatnot existing for Windows. In short, can you name even a single virus for Android that would be as devastating as the majority of viruses known for the Windows family of operating systems?
Do I need a known virus if there is an already open back door whenever I like to come in. The vulnerability is much publicised and I dont think there is nothing not hackable. I didnt mention any safer medium, not even windows.

Same here, I cant wait to use my wings its been a year OMG, lesson learned.

Come on, it's been 4 months since the ICO start, and about 2 months and a half since it finished. Relax and be a little bit patient.

Is this campaign still on? Cos I applied for some hours back with OP information of still being open until 100 participant is made, but no response since then. Campaign manager seemed to be rarely available also lately
3152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: March 21, 2017, 06:44:26 PM
Announcement: Iguana has been renamed to Agama

The reason for the name change is technical, which might be a bit surprising. Let us explain.

We had built a new Bitcoin protocol implementation called 'Iguana Core' which is the other thing powering Agama apart from Komodo. Because these two things had very similar names it caused some problems, and we had to rename Iguana.

This name change also allows us to better talk about Iguana Core without confusing our audience. It is indeed a big piece of our innovation, and what jl777 has been building since 2015. It is the thing that powers our atomic cross-chain swap protocol.

When you launch Agama you will also launch two other processes: Iguana daemon and Komodod daemon.

The name change was easy to make, as we had not even branded Iguana yet and there had not been any marketing. Our only users are you - the investors.

We will be branding Agama in the future.

Yes, it is a lizard

P.S. we will soon update our supernet homepage with more content and Iguana will be renamed to Agama.
Will it require the update of the app on the system byuser or it will update it self.I hope the update of the app does not have anything to do with any detected bug.

I hope a lot of people are reading this thread most especially the newbie, so it wont catch them unaware that after a pump in some shitcoin there is a dump, this could be massive and only be seen on yobit last coin. There are options am not advertising
3155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EthBits Avatar & signature Campaign on: March 21, 2017, 01:18:52 PM
Are there no social media campaign for the project?
What is the initial value of Ethbit for now?
3156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: March 20, 2017, 05:06:48 PM
I dont want the price spike, it is better in a consistence gradual upward move like it is now till it hits 50k. 50k is my value and would have been now if not for the dump
3157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: March 20, 2017, 04:22:21 PM
Well, had no option but to bet part of my stash on it. Maybe I've been too complacent over the threat to Bitcoin from BU. Embarrassed

I am also thinking of converting some of my bitcoins into ETH or ZEC.
It is still a big risk. I thought few people are adopting it until I noticed how it has affected the price of bitcoin. It is just one of the few options

3160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now That Bitcoin Is Under $1000 Again.. on: March 19, 2017, 06:48:32 PM
It is back above $1000. The $1000 is a conquered threshold, if it goes beyond it it wont last a while. I once said, $2000 mark this year may not be feasible but 1500 at the end of the year is sure. If it is growing steadily, it gets more reliable than a steep growth
