Naw, he's here 'cause I got him on cognitive dissonance and he figures he can fight it by trying to rationalize and promote the spinning globe fallacy. The more he goes over the evidence in his head for and against a spherical earth the deeper the cognitive dissonance becomes. It's gotten to the point now where he can no longer argue the subject and hopes if he ignores it and me it will go away.

The alternative is that he's a shill for the Tavistock Institute and knows the earth is flat but is incentivized to promote globalism.

In your dreams, just like flat earth. Cheesy

Who will win WW3? Of course, Donald Drumpf.

Yes people's militia is great idea but this is unacceptable for government.
Because they can't control this army.
This is why they won't let this happen, this is why they will collect every piece of gun..
Because they don't have full power over people.

This is the point completely. There are no terrorists in America except GOVERNMENT.

What do you think?

31487  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: March 03, 2016, 07:13:55 PM
Back in the beginning times of the USA, everyone had guns. The people were the militia, and the military was taken from the militia.

If government wanted us to have protection, they would make a law that said that we all had to own guns and wear them when we were off our private residence.

If this were done, there would be no million-man Chinese army that would ever attack us. Terrorists would be in terror of us. We wouldn't even need police, because the people would be their own police.

Now, I am not saying to implement such a law in 5 minutes. Rather implement it over 5 years, so that the people can get used to what it is like to have self-respect, and to respect other people.

The fact is, that since government doesn't implement some law like this, but rather would take away our guns, it is turning out that government is the terrorist organization, and the enemy of the people. At least it is some of the major players in government.

I've invited you to show the correlation.  That means I am open to objective evidence.

If you used to words loosely, though, and did not mean actual scientific correlation, just say so.

I am happy to debate the topic on opinions and principles.  Because you and I just don't need guns, you know.  All of the problems encountered during the day, they are solved with hammers or keyboards or gadgets or whatever.  See?  So we don't need guns.

Until, you know.  Until we do need them.

I understand your point of view. But with such argument you can justify anything.

"Why did you kill your neighboor?
Well of course he was a really pleasant dude and everything went smooth! But you never know. Maybe one day he would have threatened me."

That's why you get to know your neighbors. You have clam-bakes, and potlucks with them. You all learn to be friends. Then, when you need gun help against somebody from the outside, your neighbors are there to back you with their guns.

Cool

And then you become a fucking closed community unnable to evolve because of the global consanguinity.

Welcome to Texas!

This might be true if the population of your town is 500. But if it is 100,000, the people at the edge of your group have neighbors who are not in your group. They form their own group, and are part of two groups. As the groups get to know each other, they unite... until the whole town of (did I say 100,000?) 10,000,000 get to know each other and are on the same wavelength.

China's million man army doesn't stand a chance against your guns.

31490  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why voting for the liar? on: March 03, 2016, 05:46:30 PM
People do not wish to vote for the liar, its just that they get carried away by this person's promise during campaign that his promises are worth convincing for the crowd to believe. This is the main problem that countries are facing right now. People should be educated to research for the person's profile and history to be sure of his promise. Make even survey is a good way of knowing the person.

If people educated themselves on the addictive lies that TV is, and how TV is making them into slaves, they would throw their TV out the window and get a life. Same with politics.

Here is why people vote for a liar.

In America, television is king. People come home from work or school and sit down and watch TV. They watch while they eat dinner. They watch when they go to bed, and they fall asleep listening to TV. Some people even watch TV at work.

Now, tell me. How much of TV is the truth? The weatherman lies all the time about the weather. All the movies, and many of the documentaries are simply acting - no or little truth. People narrating documentaries often lie about what is being shown. The evening or morning news is packed full of lies. In fact, only a tiny bit of truth is ever found on TV.

Television is the American past time. There isn't much of anything else to do in the big cities where millions of Americans live. So, Americans watch TV, and learn to love lies.

Since Americans love lies from watching TV, who are they going to vote for? Aren't they going to vote for the person who does the thing that they love the most? Aren't they going to vote for the person who tells the biggest and most lies?

Do you want to win in politics? Forget solving hunger in America. Forget fighting for the cure for cancer. Forget curing the financial woes of America. Forget about the Middle East. What should you do to win? Lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie. And then lie some more. The American people will love you, and if you don't win, you will come close.

Cool

Well Ok it seems rather logical.

I didn't know TV had so much power in USA.

In France during election candidates have exactly the same time on TV or radio. It's forbiden by the law to see one candidate having less TV time than the others exactly to avoid having one candidate seens everywhere while the others are ignored!

The point isn't how much TV time the candidates have. The point is how much TV time the people have between elections.

The point is this. TV is more than 99% lies. People watch TV. People love TV. People love lies.

Then, when election time comes, people still love lies. All candidates lie. That's why people listen to and watch the candidates. People love lies. People love the candidate that lies the most.

...

An important part of this point is, don't test God continually. He just might decide to direct cause and effect to give you permanent, locked-in, inability to believe in Him, simply because you have asked for it so many times. Perhaps He has done this already. Perhaps you have already destined yourself for Hell without any way out.

Cool

God does not exist.  He did not create me, he has no control over me or my life.

All these ideas about how God programmed everything are in your head and only in your head.

If there was a God, and he meticulously programmed everything in the universe, how come he created it so big with only few tiny corners of the universe suitable to support life.  Why so many stars, galaxies, empty space, universes?  Just create a flat Earth, support it with pillars, few humans and animals, put a dome over it, put stars and sun on the dome and be done with it (oh wait, that is exactly what the bible says).

Why our jaws don't fit all of the teeth that we get.  What's up with the appendix?
Oh wait, they are the remnants of our evolutionary past....God my ass.

If he was an engineer, he would not even pass a phone interview  Wink

Scientific law says that you are wrong. Check out cause and effect, as upheld by Newton's 3rd Law.

Then check out the first two chapters of the Bible to see how mankind asked for imperfection, and how God gave it to them. It was all done according to cause and effect.

To show them high and as religious belief is opposite to them they hate religion. Another reason religious followers are very high in count according to them. They try to attract more people by creating trends of religious opposition. This makes people to avoid atheists in several situations which make them completely hate religion.

But in having a belief that is opposite to religious belief, shows that they have belief. This means that they have a religion... a religion of atheism.

Since they oppose religion, and since they are religion, this shows that they oppose themselves.

can you see the air you breath? no. can you feel it? do you believe its there?  yes.
thats it. similar thing is with god.. i am not justifyimg a sinle religions god, because I don't want a single religion to be targeted...

Yes, you can feel the air, and not only that, but you can prove it exists, you can even measure it.

But sometimes we can believe just because of feeling something .we dont need to any proof for that ...

That is perfectly fine.  Billions of people believe in many religions based on feelings.

Just don't claim that your feeling is the proof of God existence.  Or say that your feeling is the truth.

That is the issue.

Exactly the point.

The law of cause and effect, which is upheld by Newton's 3rd Law, says that you have been programmed to believe opposite of cause and effect.

The question is not about the fact that you have been programmed the way you have been.

The questions are about Who did your programming, and how it was done, and if it is being added to or rearranged in any way in some ongoing process.

Personally, I think the God is so extremely great, that when He hears the wishes of your heart (in the tiny speck of like-free-will that He has held open for you), He goes back in time to the beginning and jiggles the whole universe in ways that match your tiny speck of free will.

In addition, God is so great that He does this for all people at the same time. We don't do any of the free will acting that we think we do.

To our way of thinking, this is the only way cause and effect (proven law - Newton) can act with the free will of mankind.

An important part of this point is, don't test God continually. He just might decide to direct cause and effect to give you permanent, locked-in, inability to believe in Him, simply because you have asked for it so many times. Perhaps He has done this already. Perhaps you have already destined yourself for Hell without any way out.

The concept you are both approaching anon_giraffe from the perspective of reproducing intellectual structures and tvbcof from the idea of social evolution is the that of group selection.

Group selection is a very deep and mostly under-explored area of evolutionary biology. The most intriguing and active thinking that I have seen in this area is that of Charlton.  Below is an excerpt of his work.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
General properties of Group Selection and the 'group mind' (in relation to the adaptive production of geniuses)

Selection in this sense suggests that randomness exists.

Random cannot exist in a system where cause and effect exist.

Cause and effect are upheld by Newton's 3rd Law, which is universal to our knowledge, and which has never been found to have any failure in anything.

Random as far as the way people use it, is simply an organized method of guessing, called probability, that people use. They use it because they have such limited ability for determining the abundant, detailed activities of cause and effect.

Quantum Mechanics is a complex form of complex probability that is used to guess more complex things.

QM doesn't prove anything.

The idea of "selection" suggests that there is intelligence doing the selecting.

Complexity is the anti-thesis of entropy. Perhaps there are other things that are virtually the opposite of entropy, but complexity is one of the basic ones.

Cool

The opposit of entropy is negentropy not complexity.

Best regards.

There is no system in which complexity doesn't break down in the presence of entropy.
