This thread grows so fast that it's tough to keep up.  Has Stunna posted any further about his plans for next month?  The last I saw he said he might be closing it but it didn't sound 100% sure.
3162  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ask TF thread on: September 13, 2014, 05:17:05 AM
Did someone turn of the showing of trust by default?  All of a sudden I don't see TF's -600 trust and I wonder why?

Aaaand I do still see trust in other threads so it's not my settings.  Is it the default for off-topic?  Or does the OP control this in some way?
3163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoBiz Magazine Cover! | Cryptogenic Bullion | CGB on: September 13, 2014, 05:11:44 AM
Just visiting.  CGB was the first alt-coin I ever bought back in January.  Glad to see the community still going strong.

Are you still holding your CGB?  How many did you buy?
3164  Economy / Services / Re: GAW MINERS PAYS FOR YOUR SIGNATURE >>> HIGH RATES 50posts = 0.1BTC JOIN US! on: September 13, 2014, 05:10:47 AM
seems good rates for 50 posts, do you have free slots or I have to stand to the queue? thanks

Lol, as bitcoin prices fall, bitmixer.io starts to look like a good idea again.  No nonsense and automatied weekly payments of up to 0.01BTC.  The closer bitcoin goes to 100$ the better and better that deal looks.  The closer bitcoin gets to 1000$, the more terrible it looks.  For some reason, bitmixer.io doesn't change their sig rates no matter what happens (it seems).
3165  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW-*DRK*! Peerbet.org/PeerDice.org INVEST 0.3% Edge! Multiplayer Dice! BTC/Alts on: September 13, 2014, 05:06:51 AM
I just saw the last page of this thread which includes the final shots of the recent spat and the resolution.  I also found the "just stop" post kinda shocking.  I had to double check that it was actually posted by the same guy who resolved the issue only a few posts below that.  Very strange to go from "just stop" to "we are checking things and will tell you if we are wrong" to "we were wrong".  Good to see everything was resolved amicably in the end but still, what was up for a moment there?
3166  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: September 13, 2014, 05:01:44 AM
26.5k krill account for sale.  200 chips or best offer.  Pm me.

Is that legal to buy/sell accounts? Would guess probably not

I think that legal is the wrong word in this context.  Smiley

Account selling makes me feel sad for playing to get my meager amount of krill.  I think I could prolly bargain for a much badasser acount for way less than the cost of playing.  Anyway, I'm still holding out hope that that one day micon is going to give me a cool avatar which encapsulates 3 imporant aspects:

1) tspacepilot has been on our site for a fucking long time
2) tspacepilot is generally a terrible poker player
3) tspacepilot is an ok guy anyway

3167  Economy / Services / Re: Official updownbot.bz Signature Campaign thread on: September 13, 2014, 04:58:51 AM
It appears that the owner hasn't denied he is UpDown the original... Would be interested to hear if there are any other witnesses

It would not matter if money is in escrow.

I am going to be a member soon but the rate sounds quite low.
i don't think money is in escrow yet...

Hello sir I would like opologize for the delay just trying to get ready..

the money is going to be in escrow today maximum tommorow we will figure it out asap.

Also UpDownBot is not assosiated with updown.bt

UpDownBot is owned and operated by a DAC. We are VERY WELL funded and as you can see from numerous posts on this forum we always pay our dues.

What does DAC mean/stand for?

Also, glad to see you guys put some fundage in escrow.

Also, even if you aren't associated with UpDown.bt, you must have heard of them and the situation here?  If not, you must be very new to the scene.
3168  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: September 12, 2014, 04:49:08 AM
Damn, one year. I hope it lasts forever. This has helped me a lot and has been the only way for me to get (about to make it) my first BTC. In my country things are fucked and I could barely get any BTC monthly from the little savings I could have. Lets hope BTC and Primedice continue to grow together towards positive results. Cheers.

I hope so to. Still Happy birthday PRIMEDICE.

I think it is the birthday of the signature campaign, not the site itself.

so https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=67058 just sent me a PM threatening to give me negative feedback unless i remove my sig. anyone else get a PM from him? it's kind of funny, since i clicked on his trust score and it's littered with negative feedback.

I don't know why he would threaten you about your sig, but that's TradeFortress' old profile.  As far as I know, having negative feedback from him is actually a mark of pride.  Check it out, I have one!
3170  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 10, 2014, 11:43:16 PM
Why is Cryptcominer in PNYC? It's 1 withdrawal per day, and I've withdrawn every single day since their campaign started. Also, what's up with the asterix? Their business might not be the most trustworthy ( everyone has to evaluate it and draw their own conclusions ), but their sig campaign hasn't had a single problem so far.
It's a Ponzi, so a daily payment isn't going to cut it for me. They will need to exist for at least a month before I move them to "Active".

But the asterisk should be there to warn people about campaigns which, for whatever reason, might not make it to the next payday.  If this guy is paying dayly for several days, it seems that the asterisk is misleading.
3171  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason for the current bitcoin value crash? on: September 09, 2014, 07:06:20 PM
Bitcoin is loosing value more and more! Litecoin is already dead! I expect another alt is replacing bitcoin sooner or later?

Ah you are a troll

Or a desperate altcoiner, or someone with a short on bitcoin.  Doesn't seem disinterested, that's for sure.
3172  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: paypall accepts bitcoins? on: September 09, 2014, 07:05:13 PM
I see, I got overcaughtup in the headline.  It seems the fact is that paypal bought braintree.  Braintree apparantly makes apps that can accept bitcoin, or something along those lines.
3173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Im getting free BTCs mined to my wallet - WTF??? on: September 09, 2014, 07:00:19 PM
Dude, you're getting free money. Consider it a great gift and go use it the best that you can! Smiley

yep im doing it but i feel shame i get none of tips here =]]]]]]]]

How do you know they aren't tips?
3174  Economy / Service Discussion / paypall accepts bitcoins? on: September 09, 2014, 06:55:18 PM
http://yro.slashdot.org/story/14/09/09/1550251/paypal-jumps-into-bitcoin-with-both-feet

From what I have read around here, I thought that paypal and bitcoin were mortal enemies.  Is this story correct?
3175  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 07:23:45 PM
I admit that I am not completely following what's going on with this dicebitco.in thing, but I do have to say that I think your point seems questionable, marcotheminer.  If I paid you to advertize for ACME Rockets, and we agree that you'll bear the advert for a given time, and then you tag a "sux" on the end of the advert or something equivalent, I think that I would consider you to be in breach of our contract.  Again, maybe there's some detail here that I'm missing.
This is why Dooglus and I decided that you aren't allowed to change your signature to something else. You will be dropped from the campaign if it happens.

See, this is where I'm obviously confused, I thought that just above you were saying "marco, you're fine" which I interpreted as meaning that you approved of his change.  I don't know what's happening, obviously.
3176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Exception: Error in RPC call: {'code': -5, 'message': 'No information available on: September 08, 2014, 07:22:03 PM
Is there an rpc call I can make to get the address that the coins in the genesis block went to?  I have been getting addresses by calling getrawtransaction with the reply from getblockhash.  If block 0 doesn't work with getrawtransaction, is there another call I can use to list the vout->addresses?

It isn't spendable, and it isn't available to getrawtransaction, so you can just ignore it and treat it like it doesn't exist (since it essentially doesn't).

If you don't want to do that, then you can hard code the address and amount into your program.

Good point, I can, of course, hard code that address since there's just one such example like this.  Anyway, I'm still curious about the detail of the "quirk" which makes this one unspendable.  Let me know if you know.  Cheers and thanks for the replies!
3177  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ask TF thread on: September 08, 2014, 07:17:45 PM

Because it's a perk of being a donator.

VIP, actually.

Want to remove the negative trust you put on me for an issue with coinchat?  If you do so I'll remove mine and we can both walk away cleaner.

Thanks, but no.

Thanks for the replies.  No offense but I kinda hoped you'd say 'no'.  Being negged by tradefortress is kinda a mark of pride these days---like a reputable war scar from fighting a well known and universally disliked enemy.

Cheers!

Because it's a perk of being a donator.

Ok, I kinda thought that was the deal.  Hillarious, you're so fast that TF has no chance.
3179  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 08, 2014, 07:10:52 PM
Thank you all! Dooglus and I have been talking about this already. We will get back to you guys Wink

EDIT: Please don't remove your signature (marcotheminer, you should be fine). It's our only way to see if someone sticked with the campaign rules. No signature is most likely no payment.
Thanks for the update!

Please change your signature!

I'll change my sig once we have the go ahead from dooglus and bitcoininformation.

Youre potentially tricking others into depositing there.. Adding a do not play here message does not affect your signature standing. You will still get paid.

3180  Economy / Services / Re: Official updownbot.bz Signature Campaign thread on: September 08, 2014, 07:02:49 PM
Half of you guys don't even know wtf are you talking about it's updownbot.bz not UpDown.BT. They both are not run by the same guy it's totally different.
This guys is trying to run a campaign for updownbot.bz not Updown.bt.
This was the Signature Campaign thread for updown.bt, i don't know or care about how that campaign ended, this guy is trying to do provide a good service here and you start accusing him without knowing which website you are talking about.

Yo, asking -neq accusing.  K?

Asking -neg for what? Do you even read i'm not accusing anybody.

Ahem, "-neq" is shorthand for "is not equivalent".  Let me spell out my message in more formal language:

"Attention: asking about origin is not equivalent to accusing of a particular origin."

Since you seem so lost, allow me to spell out the immediate context which seems to have passed you: in the 4th post of this thread, I ask:

Are you related to the updown of recent signature ad campaign infamy?  Or is your name just an unfortunate coincidence?  If the latter, I'd read up on what happened with up/down and then reconsider the name.  If the former, I'll be very surprised if anyone signs up.

And below was your reply with cute epithets and qualifiers for the masses: "half of you don't know what we're talking about...they are different...you start accusing him without knowing which website you are talking about".

Therefore, my reply is germane, even if it was apparently too subtle for you to grasp.  Now, you've got other mudslinging to do about whether or not I can read?  Try not to be such a troll, dood, it's not the way to make friends, ok?

Finally, I want to point out that in your glorious moment decrying the ignorant bitcointalk.org citizens for their unsupported accusations, you, yourself, the amazing __chance__ have (perhaps unwittingly) fallen dangerously close to the same behavior you disdain in others: making claims without evidence.  That is, you say the two parties are distinct but it seems the only support you have for that is the distinct urls.  Yet, we all realize that the urls are distinct.  The question was whether the proprietors are distinct.  As far as I can tell, you have added nothing to that debate beyond "__chance__ believes they are distinct".  If you have anything more to offer, let us know.  If you just want to add your opinion to the thread, there are ways do to that without acting like such a jackass, should that interest you in the future.

Cheers!
